Abstract
The invention discloses an FPC (flexible printed circuit) strip line, which sequentially comprises an upper conducting layer, a first insulating layer, a signal layer, a bonding layer, a second insulating layer and a lower conducting layer from top to bottom, wherein the FPC strip line comprises a non-bending area and a bending area along the length direction, two ends of the upper conducting layer or the lower conducting layer along the length direction are provided with bonding pads, the signal layer comprises at least one signal wire, the bonding pads are respectively connected with two ends of the signal wire through via holes, the width of the signal wire in the bending area is larger than that of the signal wire in the non-bending area, the width of the signal wire in the bending area is widened, and the bending service life of the FPC strip line is greatly prolonged.
Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of radio frequency transmission lines, and particularly relates to an FPC (flexible printed circuit) strip line and electronic equipment.
Background
With the development of the 5G technology, the radio frequency transmission line in the mobile terminal not only needs to cover more frequency bands, but also needs to meet the requirement of low loss. In special scenes such as a bendable mobile phone and a notebook computer, the radio frequency transmission line needs to cross a bending area, and further the radio frequency transmission line is required to have higher return loss and lower insertion loss after being bent for multiple times. Considering that the rf transmission line may interfere with other rf modules or rf components, the strip line has upper and lower floors, which can shield its own signal and block signals from the outside.
A Flexible Printed Circuit Board (hereinafter referred to as "Flexible Printed Circuit Board"), commonly referred to as FPC in the industry, is a Printed Circuit Board made of Flexible insulating base material. The flexible printed circuit board has the characteristics of free bending, winding, folding and the like, can greatly reduce the volume of electronic products, and is suitable for the development of the electronic products in the directions of high density, miniaturization and high reliability.
At present, the FPC strip line is easy to break after being bent for many times, and the bending service life is short.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide an FPC (flexible printed circuit) strip line and an electronic device, which can prolong the bending life.
In order to solve the problems, the technical scheme of the invention is as follows:
a FPC strip line sequentially comprises an upper conducting layer, a first insulating layer, a signal layer, a bonding layer, a second insulating layer and a lower conducting layer from top to bottom;
the FPC strip line comprises a non-bending area and a bending area along the length direction, and bonding pads are arranged at two ends of the upper conducting layer or the lower conducting layer along the length direction;
the signal layer comprises at least one signal wire, the bonding pads are respectively connected with two ends of the signal wire through via holes, and the width of the signal wire in the bending area is larger than that of the signal wire in the non-bending area.
Preferably, the FPC strip line sequentially comprises a first non-bending area, a bending area and a second non-bending area along the length direction, the signal wire is sequentially divided into a first non-bending section, a first matching section, a bending section, a second matching section and a second non-bending section along the length direction, the first non-bending section and the first matching section are positioned in the first non-bending area, the middle part of the bending section is positioned in the bending area, the two ends of the bending section are respectively positioned in the first non-bending area and the second non-bending area, the second matching section and the second non-bending section are positioned in the second non-bending area, the width of the bent section is larger than that of the first matching section, the width of the first matching section is larger than that of the first non-bent section, the width of the bent section is greater than that of the second matching section, and the width of the second matching section is greater than that of the second non-bent section.
Preferably, the lengths of the first matching section and the second matching section are quarter wavelengths, the characteristic impedance of the first matching section is a square root of a product of the characteristic impedance of the first non-bent section and the characteristic impedance of the bent section, and the characteristic impedance of the second matching section is a square root of a product of the characteristic impedance of the second non-bent section and the characteristic impedance of the bent section.
Preferably, the first matching section and the second matching section are rectangular or trapezoidal or stepped in shape.
Preferably, the signal layer comprises two signal lines which are arranged in parallel and insulated from each other.
Preferably, the non-bending region is provided with a plurality of ground holes, the ground holes are connected with the upper conductive layer and the lower conductive layer, and the ground holes are arranged on two sides of the signal line.
Preferably, the signal layer further comprises a floor, and the floor is arranged on the side surface of the signal line and used for reducing interference between the signal lines and interference of the outside to the signal line.
Based on the same inventive concept, the invention also provides electronic equipment comprising the FPC strip line.
Due to the adoption of the technical scheme, compared with the prior art, the invention has the following advantages and positive effects:
1) the invention provides an FPC (flexible printed circuit) strip line, which sequentially comprises an upper conducting layer, a first insulating layer, a signal layer, a bonding layer, a second insulating layer and a lower conducting layer from top to bottom, wherein the FPC strip line comprises a non-bending area and a bending area along the length direction, two ends of the upper conducting layer or the lower conducting layer along the length direction are provided with bonding pads, the signal layer comprises at least one signal wire, the bonding pads are respectively connected with two ends of the signal wire through via holes, the width of the signal wire in the bending area is larger than that of the signal wire in the non-bending area, the width of the signal wire in the bending area is widened, and the bending service life of the FPC strip line is greatly prolonged.
2) According to the FPC strip line provided by the invention, the signal line is sequentially divided into the first non-bending section, the first matching section, the bending section, the second matching section and the second non-bending section along the length direction, the width of the bending section is greater than that of the first matching section, the width of the first matching section is greater than that of the first non-bending section, the width of the bending section is greater than that of the second matching section, the width of the second matching section is greater than that of the second non-bending section, and the matching section is arranged and used for increasing the impedance bandwidth of the FPC strip line.

Detailed Description
The FPC strip line and the electronic device according to the present invention will be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments. Advantages and features of the present invention will become apparent from the following description and from the claims.
Example one
Referring to fig. 1 to 5, the present embodiment provides an FPC strip line, which includes, from top to bottom, an upper conductive layer 1, a first insulating layer 2, a signal layer 3, an adhesive layer 4, a second insulating layer 5, and a lower conductive layer 6;
the FPC strip line comprises a non-bending area and a bending area along the length direction, wherein the upper conducting layer 1 and the lower conducting layer 6 corresponding to the non-bending area are made of copper foils, the upper conducting layer 1 and the lower conducting layer 6 corresponding to the bending area are made of copper foils or composite conducting films, the composite conducting films sequentially comprise a protective film, a copper foil and conducting adhesives from top to bottom, and the conducting films are attached to the insulating layer through one side of the conducting adhesives. The first insulating layer 2 and the second insulating layer 5 are made of generally the same material, and are made of PI (polyimide), LCP (liquid crystal polymer), MPI (modified polyimide), or PEEK (polyether ether ketone), the adhesive layer 4 is a prepreg, which has fluidity at high temperature and is used for adhering the first insulating layer 2 and the second insulating layer 5, and pads 7 are disposed at two ends of the upper conductive layer 1 or the lower conductive layer 6 along the length direction;
the signal layer 3 comprises at least one signal line 31, the bonding pad 7 is respectively connected with two ends of the signal line 31 through the via hole 9, the width of the signal line 31 in the bending area is larger than that of the signal line 31 in the non-bending area, the width of the signal line in the bending area is widened, the signal line is not easy to break after being bent for many times, and the bending service life of the signal line is greatly prolonged.
As a preferred example of this embodiment, referring to fig. 2, the FPC strip line sequentially includes a first non-bending region a, a bending region B, and a second non-bending region C along the length direction, the signal line 31 is sequentially divided into a first non-bending section 311, a first matching section 312, a bending section 313, a second matching section 314, and a second non-bending section 315 along the length direction, the first non-bending section 311 and the first matching section 312 are located in the first non-bending region a, the middle portion of the bending section 313 is located in the bending region B, two ends of the bending section 313 are respectively located in the first non-bending region a and the second non-bending region C, the second matching section 314 and the second non-bending section 315 are located in the second non-bending region C, the width of the bending section 313 is greater than that of the first matching section 312, the width of the first matching section 312 is greater than that of the first non-bending section 311, the width of the bending section 313 is greater than that of the second matching section 314, the width of the second matching section 314 is greater than that of the second non-bending section 315, a matching section is arranged for increasing the impedance bandwidth of the FPC strip line;
the two ends of the upper conducting layer 1 along the length direction are respectively provided with a pad 7, the pad 7 on the left side is connected with the first non-bending section 311 through a via hole 9, the pad 7 on the right side is connected with the second non-bending section 315 through a via hole 9, the lengths of the first matching section 312 and the second matching section 314 are quarter wavelengths, the widths are calculated according to a quarter wavelength matching theory, but the line length and the line width of the first matching section 312 and the second matching section 314 are only theoretical references, and the line width and the length of the matching sections can be properly adjusted according to actual requirements; in this embodiment, the signal line 31 may only include the first matching section 312, the bending section 313 and the second matching section 314, and in this case, the left pad 7 is connected to the first matching section 312 through the via 9, and the right pad 7 is connected to the second matching section 314 through the via.
Preferably, the first matching section 312 and the second matching section 314 are rectangular or trapezoidal or stepped in shape.
As a preferred example of this embodiment, referring to fig. 3, in the FPC strip line provided in this embodiment, a plurality of ground holes 8 are disposed in a non-bending region, the ground holes 8 are distributed around the signal line 31, specifically distributed on two sides of the first non-bending section 311, the first matching section 312, the partial bending section 313, the second matching section 314, and the second non-bending section 315, and the ground holes 8 are connected to the upper conductive layer 1 and the lower conductive layer 6 and are insulated from the signal line 31, so that a flat plate pattern of the strip line can be suppressed, and interference with an external environment can be reduced.
As a preferable example of the present embodiment, referring to fig. 4, the signal layer of the FPC strip line provided in the present embodiment includes two signal lines 31 that are arranged in parallel and insulated from each other, and the two signal lines 31 have the same structure, and the size may be adjusted according to parameters such as the frequency actually used, and may be the same or different.
As a preferable example of this embodiment, referring to fig. 5, the signal layer of the FPC strip line provided by this embodiment further includes a floor 32, and the floor 32 is distributed in an area except for the signal lines, and is used to reduce interference between a plurality of signal lines and interference of the outside on the signal lines.
The invention provides an FPC (flexible printed circuit) strip line, which sequentially comprises an upper conducting layer 1, a first insulating layer 2, a signal layer 3, an adhesive layer 4, a second insulating layer 5 and a lower conducting layer 6 from top to bottom, wherein the FPC strip line comprises a non-bending area and a bending area along the length direction, two ends of the upper conducting layer 1 or the lower conducting layer 6 along the length direction are provided with bonding pads 7, the signal layer comprises at least one signal wire 31, the bonding pads 7 are respectively connected with two ends of the signal wire 31 through via holes 9, the width of the signal wire in the bending area is larger than that of the signal wire in the non-bending area, the width of the signal wire in the bending area is widened, and the bending service life of the FPC strip line is greatly prolonged.
Example two
Based on the same inventive concept, the invention also provides electronic equipment comprising the FPC strip line.

Claims (8)
1. A FPC strip line is characterized by sequentially comprising an upper conducting layer, a first insulating layer, a signal layer, a bonding layer, a second insulating layer and a lower conducting layer from top to bottom;
the FPC strip line comprises a non-bending area and a bending area along the length direction, and bonding pads are arranged at two ends of the upper conducting layer or the lower conducting layer along the length direction;
the signal layer comprises at least one signal wire, the bonding pads are respectively connected with two ends of the signal wire through via holes, and the width of the signal wire in the bending area is larger than that of the signal wire in the non-bending area.
2. The FPC strip according to claim 1, wherein the FPC strip comprises a first non-bending region, a bending region, and a second non-bending region in sequence along a length direction, the signal line is divided into a first non-bending section, a first matching section, a bending section, a second matching section, and a second non-bending section in sequence along the length direction, the first non-bending section and the first matching section are located in the first non-bending region, a middle portion of the bending section is located in the bending region, two ends of the bending section are located in the first non-bending region and the second non-bending region, respectively, the second matching section and the second non-bending section are located in the second non-bending region, a width of the bending section is greater than a width of the first matching section, a width of the first matching section is greater than a width of the first non-bending section, and a width of the bending section is greater than a width of the second matching section, the width of the second matching section is larger than that of the second non-bending section.
3. The FPC strip line according to claim 2, wherein the first matching section and the second matching section have a length of a quarter wavelength, the characteristic impedance of the first matching section is a square root of a product of the characteristic impedance of the first non-bent section and the characteristic impedance of the bent section, and the characteristic impedance of the second matching section is a square root of a product of the characteristic impedance of the second non-bent section and the characteristic impedance of the bent section.
4. The FPC strip line of claim 2, wherein the first mating section and the second mating section are rectangular or trapezoidal or stepped in shape.
5. The FPC strip line of claim 2, wherein the signal layer comprises two signal lines arranged in parallel and insulated from each other.
6. The FPC strip according to claim 1, wherein the non-bending region is provided with a plurality of ground holes, the ground holes connect the upper conductive layer and the lower conductive layer, and the ground holes are arranged on two sides of the signal line.
7. The FPC strip line according to claim 1, wherein the signal layer further includes a floor provided at a side of the signal lines for reducing interference between the signal lines and interference of the outside to the signal lines.
8. An electronic device characterized by comprising the FPC strip line of any one of claims 1 to 7.
