Technical Field
The invention relates to a wireless communication technology, in particular to a wireless communication method based on IRS spatial reflection modulation.
Background
The current mainstream IRS signal-based coding method uses the on/off state of a reflective element to represent the signal, and designs the signal based on a single reflective element, which can be simplified in hardware implementation, and the SNR of the receiving end is relatively acceptable under ideal conditions, but is not clear in extreme environments, so that the design can simplify the difficulty of engineering implementation, but also brings a loss of Bit Error Rate (BER) performance.

The technical aim of the invention is realized by the following technical scheme:
a wireless communication method based on spatial reflection modulation of IRS, comprising the steps of:
transmitting signals through an antenna diversity technology, and transmitting a communication request to a receiving end by a transmitting end;
judging the propagation condition of the communication system, and directly establishing communication between a transmitting end and a receiving end when the propagation condition accords with the sight line transmission environment condition;
when the line-of-sight transmission environment condition is not met and the line-of-sight transmission environment condition is not met, transmitting signals to a plurality of IRS reflection elements on the basis of IRS communication;
the IRS controller selects a proper coding rule to finish the coding transmission of the signal, and the signal finishes error detection and correction after reaching a receiving end; and completing communication when judging that the error correction effect is met, otherwise, requiring IRS retransmission.
In summary, the invention has the following beneficial effects:
through the multiple IRS reflection elements and the integrated codes thereof, the defect of single reflection element error rate performance loss can be changed, new degrees of freedom are provided, channel capacity is widened, the communication quality of a channel can be effectively improved, and the error rate of a receiving end is reduced.

fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a hardware structure with a number of reflection elements of 16.
Detailed Description
The present invention will be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
In accordance with one or more embodiments, a wireless communication method based on spatial reflection modulation of an IRS is disclosed, as shown in fig. 1, comprising the steps of:
the signal is transmitted by the antenna diversity technology, and the transmitting end sends a communication request to the receiving end.
And judging the propagation condition of the communication system, and directly establishing communication between the transmitting end and the receiving end when the communication system accords with the sight line transmission environment condition.
And when the line-of-sight transmission environment condition is not met and the line-of-sight transmission environment condition is not met, transmitting signals to a plurality of IRS reflection elements on the basis of IRS communication. The transmitted signal arrives at the receiver after reflection by the IRS in the non line of sight (NLOS) case. The IRS may actively modify the wireless channel between IRS elements through highly controllable and intelligent signal reflection.
The IRS controller selects a proper coding rule to finish the coding transmission of the signal, and the signal finishes error detection and correction after reaching a receiving end; and completing communication when judging that the error correction effect is met, otherwise, requiring IRS retransmission.
The antenna diversity technique adopts Space Frequency Block Code (SFBC), when the signal reaches the IRS end, the transmitted signal generates corresponding supervision code in the IRS, and the corresponding supervision code and the information code element are used together to realize coding. The IRS-based spatial modulation (ISM) is used for improving a modulation mode, an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technology is adopted, a 16QAM is adopted in the modulation mode, and the modulation mode is transmitted to a receiving end through an Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel and then is demodulated.
Since the position set by the IRS is fixed, the base station has all the position information of the IRS board and the combined use mode of the IRS reflection element, the IRS reflection element has passive characteristic and no signal processing function, and the base station completes the control of the IRS by using the IRS controller. The combination mode of the plurality of IRS reflection elements is that adjacent elements are combined, 2X 1 transmit diversity is adopted on a transmitting/receiving antenna, and multi-reflection element joint coding is adopted on signal coding. The base station selects proper combination through the IRS controller and generates corresponding supervision bit code element according to the independently selected cyclic code coding rule, and transmits the supervision bit code element to the receiving end together with the information bit code element, wherein the code element has the capability of error detection and error correction, and the capability is improved along with the increase of reflection combination elements.
As shown in FIG. 2, a Uniform Planar Array (UPA) is square, using adjacent elements in combination, assuming the number of reflective elements is N, the number of combinationsThe information represented is larger than a single element. Taking fig. 2 as an example n=16, there are c=24 pending representations, and the advantage of this combination will be more apparent as N expands.
The prior art designs on the basis of single reflection elements above coding, which naturally can be simplified in terms of hardware implementation, while the SNR at the receiving end is also relatively acceptable in the ideal case, but is not clear in extreme environments, and such designs generally ignore the effect of the magnetic field on the amplitude, which is obviously not possible in real life. The patent proposes a multi-reflection element hybrid coding to solve the possible extreme environmental impact, and solves the problem of non-compliance with reality through an ISM-OFDM system.
IRS-based wireless communication systems, in NLOS environments, signals are transmitted from multiple antenna transmitters, and there may be severe shadows or blockage between the transmitter and the user without a direct path. At this point, the IRS may act as a non-amplifying relay, reflecting and focusing the event signal to the user to facilitate end-to-end communication. The wireless communication system based on IRS can not only solve the problem that no direct path exists, but also can even solve the problems of irrational main stream assumption and further reducing the difficulty of hardware realization regarding the idea of improving main stream spatial modulation and combining new signal codes. The multi-element signal coding is adaptive to ISM-OFDM, so that the communication quality of the channel is improved, and the Bit Error Rate (BER) of a receiving end is reduced.
The present embodiment is only for explanation of the present invention and is not to be construed as limiting the present invention, and modifications to the present embodiment, which may not creatively contribute to the present invention as required by those skilled in the art after reading the present specification, are all protected by patent laws within the scope of claims of the present invention.
