Description

Filtering type protective mask with self-wetting water absorption function
Technical Field
The application relates to the field of protective masks, in particular to a filter type protective mask with a self-wetting water absorption function.
Background
The filter mask has long application in daily life, has the effects of bacteria filtration, dust resistance, gas protection, deodorization and the like, can effectively block harmful substances such as microorganisms, particulate matters and the like in the air, and ensures the health of human bodies.
The adsorption material such as activated carbon has a large number of micropores in the internal structure, so that the adsorption material has a large specific surface area, and the adsorption material such as activated carbon can adsorb a large number of toxic gas molecules therein without escaping. Therefore, in order to improve the protection effect on toxic gases, the protective mask adopts a bed layer to accumulate active carbon particles or non-woven fabrics to mix with active carbon powder or be used as a filtering material, and the toxic gases are removed through adsorption without being inhaled by people. However, the treatment and installation requirements of the adsorption materials such as activated carbon are very high, for example, coarse particles can cause inter-particle gaps, and toxic gas can penetrate through the gaps into the respiratory tract and is not adsorbed; too fine particles can lead to increased respiratory resistance and the risk of leakage of activated carbon powder into dust pollutants.
In the working environment, when the air contains high water-solubility gases such as hydrogen chloride, ammonia and the like, the common mask and the active carbon mask are difficult to remove through filtration and adsorption. The water absorption can effectively remove the hydrogen chloride, ammonia and other pollutant gases in the air, but the mask is required to be wetted before use. It is particularly notable that excessively wetted filter material will increase air lock, resulting in poor breathing, and non-uniformly wetted filter material will fail due to channeling or drift of the contaminated air stream caused by the dry zone channels. Under the circumstance, the mask with the water wetting characteristic is necessary to develop for respiratory protection under the emergency escape condition of the dangerous environment.
