The invention provides a cleaning reminding method of a washing machine, which comprises a detection value A and a preset value M; detecting the weight of sundries in the filter screen box and/or detecting the service life of the washing machine, and recording as a detection value A; and selecting and executing the corresponding program by judging and judging the detection value A and the preset value M.
