Description

Reel seat
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a reel seat for mounting and fixing a reel, which is mounted on various fishing rods such as a road sub-rod and a boat rod.
Background
Conventionally, a reel holder to which a reel is attached is fixed to a fishing rod using a reel, and for example, as disclosed in patent document 1, a tubular reel holder is known which is attached to and fixed to an outer peripheral surface of a head rod. Patent document 1 discloses a tubular reel seat suitable for use with a spinning reel, in which a fixed cover is disposed on a lower surface side of a first tubular portion on a base end side of a tubular body, a male screw portion is formed on a second tubular portion on a tip end side of the tubular body, and a movable cover that moves forward and backward by a nut is disposed on the tubular body.
The reel seat is integrally formed by injection molding a hard resin or a fiber-reinforced resin, and a reel foot placement portion is formed between the first and second barrel portions, and a bridge portion having curved concave portions on both sides thereof is formed. The recess of the bridge portion is formed to be located radially outward of the rod passing through the first and second barrel portions, so that the weight of the reel seat can be reduced.
Patent literature
Patent document 1: japanese patent No. 6691842
Disclosure of Invention
When the outer shape of the seat body is fleshed and reduced in weight as in the case of the reel seat disclosed in patent document 1, there is a problem in that the gripping property (grip feeling) is lowered. That is, since the edge of the recess formed in the bridge is curved so as to be positioned below the pole when the spinning reel is mounted, the contact area of the fingers at the time of holding is reduced, and the grasping performance is reduced. Further, since the bridge portion has a thin wall thickness, it is easily deformed when strongly held, resulting in a problem in strength.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a reel seat that has excellent gripping properties when a fishing rod is gripped and held together with a fishing reel, and that is lightweight and has excellent strength.
In order to achieve the above object, a reel seat according to the present invention includes a seat body including: a reel leg mounting part for mounting the reel leg of the fishing reel; a 1 st barrel part, on one axial end side of the reel foot loading part, a fixed cover and a through hole for penetrating and fixing a pole are formed; and a 2 nd barrel portion having a through hole through which the rod is passed and fixed, and a movable cover that is movable in the axial direction being disposed on the other axial end side of the reel foot placement portion, wherein the seat body includes a bridge portion that is connected between the 1 st barrel portion and the 2 nd barrel portion and is formed so as to be spaced apart in the radial direction so as to cover the rod that is fixed, the bridge portion includes concave portions on both sides of the rod that is passed and fixed, the concave portions are formed so that a position at which a lowest of an edge portion defining the concave portions does not exceed a lower end portion of the rod that is passed through and fixed in the through hole in a side view, and reinforcing ribs are formed on an inner surface of the bridge portion.
According to the reel seat constructed as described above, the bridge portion formed between the 1 st barrel portion and the 2 nd barrel portion is gripped at the time of actual fishing. That is, when the dual bearing type reel is mounted, the portion is mainly held by the finger, and when the spinning reel is mounted, the portion is mainly held by the palm. Since the bridge portion has the concave portions on both sides of the rod which is passed through and fixed as described above, and the concave portions are formed so that the most concave position of the edge defining the concave portion does not exceed the rod which is passed through and fixed in the through hole in a side view, the holding portion remains when the reel seat is held, and the fingers and palm do not come into contact with the cut portion (edge defining the opening), and thus the gripping performance can be improved. Further, since the bridge portion has the reinforcing ribs formed on the inner surface side thereof, deformation or the like is not easily generated even if the bridge portion is strongly held, and further, the bridge portion can be thinned.
According to the present invention, a reel seat having excellent gripping properties, light weight, and excellent strength can be obtained when a fishing rod is gripped and held together with a fishing reel.

The reel holder 1 according to the present invention is fixed to the outer peripheral surface of a rod (head rod) 100 constituting a fishing rod by adhesion or the like, and in the present embodiment, is configured to mount and fix a double-bearing reel as a fishing reel. Therefore, a reel foot mount section described later is located on the upper side. The fishing rod to which the reel holder is fixed may be a draw-out type, a joint type, 1 rod, or the like, and the configuration thereof is not limited, and in fig. 1, a part of the fishing rod (a part of the head rod) is shown, and the entire configuration thereof is omitted.
The seat body 2 constituting the reel seat 1 is provided with: a reel foot mounting part 3 for mounting the reel foot of the fishing reel; and a pair of cover parts for fastening and fixing the two axial sides of the reel feet of the fishing reel placed on the reel foot placing part 3. In the present embodiment, the fixed cover 12 is provided on the rear side, and the rotary operation type movable cover 22 movable in the axial direction is provided on the front side. That is, the seat body 2 includes: the 1 st barrel 10 has a through hole 10a formed at one end (rear side) thereof for passing through and fixing the rod 100, while forming a fixed cover 12; and a 2 nd barrel portion 20 having a through hole 20a for passing through and fixing the rod 100, while a movable cover 22 movable in the axial direction is disposed on the other axial end side (front side) of the reel foot mount portion 3. The rod 100 is inserted into the through holes 10a and 20a, and its outer peripheral surface is fixed by an adhesive or the like.
Further, a bridge portion 30 is formed on the seat body 2, and the bridge portion 30 is connected between the 1 st barrel portion 10 and the 2 nd barrel portion 20, and is formed so as to be spaced apart in the radial direction so as to cover the fixed rod 100. Since the seat body 2 of the present embodiment is adapted to a double-bearing reel, the bridge portion 30 is formed so as to cover the lower region of the rod inserted through and fixed to the through holes 10a and 20a, and is formed so as to be spaced apart (with a gap) in the radial direction from the outer peripheral surface of the rod 100 in relation to the 1 st barrel portion 10 and the 2 nd barrel portion 20 in a state in which the rod is inserted through and fixed to the through holes 10a and 20a.
Specifically, the bridge portion 30 includes a raised bent portion 30A (see fig. 4 (b) to (e)) having a substantially semicircular cross section so as to cover the lower outer peripheral surface of the rod 100 with a predetermined gap therebetween from both radial sides of the rod 100 to be pierced and fixed in the axial direction. The upper edges (edges) 30a on both sides of the bridge portion 30 are bent downward from the front-side both edges 12b defining the opening 12a of the fixed cover 12 formed in the 1 st barrel portion 10 into which the reel pin is fitted, and define the recess 30a' connected to the 2 nd barrel portion 20. The upper edges 30a on both sides are formed to be spaced apart from the outer circumferential surface of the rod 100 in the left-right direction, and as shown in fig. 2b, the lowermost end position (the position of the recess most recessed) P1 thereof is located on the rear side (the 1 st barrel side) from the axially intermediate position of the bridge portion 30.
By forming such a bridge portion 30 between the 1 st and 2 nd barrel portions, weight reduction can be achieved as a reel seat. Therefore, the reel foot placement unit 3 is composed of a placement unit 3a formed on the front end side of the 1 st barrel unit 10 and a placement unit 3b formed on the rear end side of the 2 nd barrel unit 20, and the middle portion (the portion where the bridge unit 30 is formed) of the reel foot placement unit 3 is in a divided state. That is, the leg portion of the fishing reel is fastened and fixed by placing the rear end side on the placement portion 3a in a state of being fitted into the opening 12a of the fixed cover 12, and by fitting the front end side in the opening 22a of the movable cover 22 that moves in the axial direction in a state of being placed on the placement portion 3 b.
A male screw portion 20b is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the front end portion of the 2 nd tubular portion 20 of the seat body 2. The movable cover 22 disposed on the front side of the reel foot placement portion 3b is disposed so as to be movable in the axial direction while covering the 2 nd tube portion 20. A nut member 22A screwed with the male screw portion 20b is engaged with the movable cover 22, and the movable cover 22 is moved in the axial direction by rotating the nut member 22A. At this time, the male screw portion 20b is formed with guide grooves 20d extending linearly in the axial direction at 1 or more (in the present embodiment, at intervals of 2 at 180 °), and the movable cover 22 is slid only in the axial direction without rotating when the nut member 22A is rotated. Further, a step 30B protruding laterally from both sides of the mounting portion 3B is formed on the front end surface (both side end surfaces on the front side of the raised curved portion 30A) of the seat body 2, and the movement to the axially rear side is restricted by the abutment of the step 30B with the end surface of the movable cover 22, which defines the opening 22A thereof, and the movable cover 22 is movable in the axial direction by the nut member 22A screwed with the male screw portion 20B.
With the above configuration, when the rear leg is fitted into the opening 12A of the fixed cover 12 in a state where the reel leg is mounted on the reel leg mounting portion 3 (3 a, 3 b), and the nut member 22A is rotated in this state to slide the movable cover 22 toward the fixed cover, the front leg of the reel leg is fitted into the opening 22A of the movable cover 22, and the reel leg can be fastened and fixed between the covers 12, 22. Thereafter, the nut member 22A is rotated in the opposite direction, whereby the fishing reel attached and fixed between the covers 12 and 22 can be detached.
In the present embodiment, the holder body 2 is provided with a trigger 15 which can be hooked by a finger of the hand when the holder body is held and held together with the reel body. The trigger 15 is formed on the 1 st cylinder 10 of the seat body 2 and is formed so as to protrude to the opposite side of the fixed cover 12.
The weight of the reel seat can be reduced as the upper end edges 30a on both sides of the concave portion 30a' forming the bridge portion 30 are recessed more toward the lower side, but when the upper end edges are recessed more, the grasping performance is impaired and the strength of the grip portion is reduced. Therefore, in the present invention, the lowermost position P1 of the recess (the position of the recess that is the lowermost position) is formed so as not to exceed the lower end portion (not to be lower than the through holes 10a and 20 a) of the rod 100 that is inserted into and fixed to the through holes 10a and 20a in a side view.
By forming the concave portions 30A' as described above on both sides of the bridge portion 30, the bridge portion 30 is provided with a curved shape (fig. 4 (b) to (d)) which bulges radially outward in a cross section orthogonal to the axial direction, and is configured with a bulge bending portion 30A whose inner and outer surfaces protrude outward in a curved shape together.
In order to improve the compressive strength, the inner surface of the raised and curved portion 30A constituting the bridge portion 30 is formed with reinforcing ribs 35. The rib may be formed at any portion of the inner surface of the raised bent portion 30A, but since a large pressure acts on the lowermost end region of the raised bent portion 30A when held by the hand, it is preferable that an axial rib (hereinafter, such an axial rib is referred to as a rib 35) be provided at least in the central portion of the raised bent portion 30A so as to extend in the axial direction as in the present embodiment.
By forming the reinforcing ribs 35 on the inner surface of the raised bent portion 30A, the raised bent portion 30A can be thinned, and even if the surface shape of the raised bent portion 30A is appropriately deformed, weight reduction can be achieved as a whole. At this time, the thickness of the raised bent portion 30A (bridge portion 30) and the reinforcing rib 35 is set to about 1.0mm to 2.0mm, whereby the weight can be reduced and the strength can be maintained. As shown in fig. 2 (b) and 3, the lower surface shape (surface shape) of the raised/bent portion 30A is preferably formed so as to gradually rise from the 2 nd barrel portion 20 toward the 1 st barrel portion 10, and gradually bend in a concave manner from the vicinity of the opposite position of the reel foot placement portion 3a, so as to obtain a curved concave portion 16 between the root of the trigger 15. That is, by forming one of the base end sides of the bridge portion 30 (the ridge curved portion 30A) larger than the tip end side, the gripping performance can be improved when the reel seat 1 is gripped together with the reel body, and the finger is not uncomfortable when the trigger 15 is hooked by the curved concave portion 16.
In addition, the reinforcing rib 35 is preferably formed to have a height for guiding the rod 100 inserted into the through holes 10a and 20a. Specifically, by forming the rib 35 such that the upper end edge 35a thereof is at a height corresponding to the opening edge of each of the through holes 10a, 20a in the axial direction, the rod 100 can be smoothly guided when being inserted into the reel seat 1, so that the rod can easily penetrate the 1 st barrel 10 and the 2 nd barrel 20, and the rod 100 can be stabilized at the portion of the bridge portion 30.
The seat body 2 may be integrally formed of, for example, a hard synthetic resin material such as nylon or ABS, or a plastic composite material (FRP) in which reinforcing fibers such as glass fibers or carbon fibers are mixed, so that the strength is improved and the weight is reduced.
In actual fishing, the above-described reel seat 1 is held by bringing the abdomen of the finger of the hand into contact with the bridge portion 30 (raised and bent portion 30A) formed between the 1 st barrel portion 10 and the 2 nd barrel portion 20 in a state where the ring finger or the middle finger is hooked on the trigger 15. Since the bridge portion 30 includes the concave portions 30a 'on both sides of the rod 100 that is passed through and fixed as described above, and the concave portions 30a' are formed so that the most concave position P1 of the upper end edges 30a on both sides of the prescribed concave portions does not exceed the lower end portion of the rod 100 that is passed through and fixed in the through holes 10a, 20a in a side view, the holding portion remains when the reel holder is held, and thus the holding performance can be improved. Further, since the reinforcing ribs 35 are formed on the inner surface side of the bridge portion 30, the bridge portion can be made thin and lightweight, and deformation or the like is less likely to occur even if held by a strong force, so that the weight and strength can be efficiently reduced, and the weight can be reduced and the operability can be improved as a fishing rod.
In the reel holder, a soft member (for example, polyurethane, EVA, thermoplastic elastomer, rubber, or the like) having good gripping performance may be provided in addition to the portion where the fingers are gripped and abutted against the reel holder. For example, the nut member 22A may be covered with such a member, or a grip member formed of the above-described material may be covered on the outer peripheral surface of the portion protruding rearward from the fixed cover 12 of the 1 st barrel portion 10.
The seat body 2 having the above-described structure may be formed with ribs, hollow portions, cutouts, recesses, and the like as necessary, so as to achieve weight saving while maintaining strength. For example, as shown in fig. 4 (e), the portion of the 1 st barrel 10 where the reel foot placement portion 3a is formed is connected to the raised bent portion 30A by a plurality of radial reinforcing ribs 18a, 18b, and a gap S is formed between the reinforcing ribs, whereby the weight can be reduced while maintaining the strength. Further, for example, as shown in fig. 4 (a), strength can be improved by appropriately forming reinforcing ribs 27 and 28 for reinforcement on the outer peripheral surface of the portion of the 2 nd reel portion 20 where the reel foot placement portion 3b is formed. Such ribs, hollow portions, cutouts, recesses, projections, and the like are preferably formed in advance in portions that do not affect the gripping performance.
Fig. 5 shows embodiment 2 of the present invention, in which (a) is a side view and (b) is a top view (the following figure).
The reel holder of this embodiment is configured to mount a spinning reel, and the reel foot mount portion 3 (3 a, 3 b) is downward to mount and fix the spinning reel. In fig. 5, the same components as those of embodiment 1 are denoted by the same reference numerals.
When the holder body 2A of the reel holder 1A according to the present embodiment is used, the reel foot mount 3, the fixed cover 12, and the movable cover 22 are disposed in a downward state, and the bridge 30 is held mainly by the palm from above, so that the diameter is preferably slightly larger than that of embodiment 1 in advance, so that the holder can be easily held and held. The upper end edges (edges) 30a on both sides of the recess 30a' forming the bridge 30 are formed such that the uppermost position (the position of the most bulge of the recess) P1 of the recess does not exceed the lower end portion (upper side than the through holes 10a, 20 a) of the rod 100 which is inserted and fixed in the through hole in side view.
Even with the reel seat 1A having such a structure, the same operations and effects as those of the above-described embodiment can be obtained.
Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications are possible.
The reel seat 1 is not limited to the shape shown in the drawings, and can be variously modified. For example, the cover portion for fixing the reel leg may be formed on the rear side by a movable cover, and the structure of each cover portion may be appropriately modified. In addition, the reinforcing rib formed on the inner surface of the raised bent portion 30A (bridge portion 30) may be formed in the lateral direction or the like so as to intersect a part or form a lattice shape, in addition to extending in the axial direction, and a plurality of reinforcing ribs extending in the axial direction may be formed. In addition, the height and wall thickness of the reinforcing rib can be appropriately deformed as long as the height of the reinforcing rib does not interfere with the rod passing therethrough. The shape (ridge shape) of the bridge portion 30 (ridge curved portion 30A) and the shape of the concave portion 30A' can be appropriately deformed.
