The water-based white color modifier has the advantages of quick drying, low odor, stable storage, infinite dilution and high gloss, has excellent adhesive force with a primer layer, and simultaneously has good application property, recoatability and polishability, and meets the requirements of the aspects of customized furniture and the like for semi-transparent coating application.

At present, furniture semi-transparent coating is prepared by adding color paste into traditional glaze and color repairing essential oil when in use, the prepared solvent type color repairing agent generally has the problems of unstable storage, easy precipitation and agglomeration, non-uniform color effect, big smell, even uneven color repairing, cracking and the like, and the compatibility of resin in the solvent type color repairing agent and other additives is poor, thereby influencing the use effect. Therefore, the market is urgently in need of researching and developing the water-based white color modifier which is matched with the semi-permeable effect, has low smell, even no smell, is stable in storage and can be infinitely diluted.

The water-based acrylic resin selected by the scheme is used as a main film forming substance, has small molecular weight, good compatibility with water and ethanol, high tolerance to ethanol, self-crosslinking, strong wetting and wrapping property, good water resistance and high glossiness of the titanium dioxide pigment in the water-based white color modifier during crosslinking, and can wrap the titanium dioxide pigment in the water-based white color modifier; the rutile titanium dioxide is coating-grade titanium dioxide produced by a chlorination method, and has the advantages of easy dispersibility, high covering power, high glossiness, weather resistance and the like; however, the color modifier prepared by mixing the water-based acrylic resin and the rutile type titanium dioxide often has the problems of coarsening, granulation and precipitation of the titanium dioxide, and based on the problems, the modified urea solution, the ethylene glycol monobutyl ether and the ethanol are added in the invention. The selected modified urea solution has good anti-settling performance, and can prevent the titanium pigment from settling, and the color modifier from soft settling or hard settling and the like in the long-term storage and dilution construction process of the color modifier; by adopting the special proportion of ethylene glycol butyl ether and ethanol, the drying speed of the color modifier is adjusted to form a volatilization gradient, thereby solving the problems that the conventional aqueous emulsion or dispersion has low tolerance to ethanol and is easy to generate titanium dioxide particles and precipitate; and in the practical color-fixing application process, ethanol can be adopted for dilution and use according to the sample effect requirement, and the precipitate is not generated after long-time standing and storage. The method has the advantages of simple production process, economy and reasonability, no need of adding or changing original production equipment, suitability for industrial mass production, quick drying, low odor, storage stability, infinite dilution, high gloss, excellent adhesive force with a primer layer, good construction property, recoatability, polishability, suitability for reciprocating automatic coating and the like, and can meet the high requirements of customers.
Further, the water-based white color modifier also comprises 0.2 to 0.5 weight percent of water-based wetting agent, 0.1 to 0.5 weight percent of water-based defoaming agent, 2 to 3 weight percent of water-based dispersing agent, 0.5 to 1.5 weight percent of pH regulator and 15 to 30 weight percent of water.

In the aqueous white color modifier prepared in the comparative example 2, the content of the modified urea solution is low, the anti-settling performance is poor, and the phenomena of settling of titanium dioxide, soft settling or hard settling of the color modifier and the like occur in the long-term storage and dilution construction process of the color modifier. The aqueous white color modifier prepared in the comparative example 3 does not contain ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, can not form good volatilization gradient, is easy to generate the problems of coarse particles, precipitation and the like of titanium white powder, and has low adhesive force and poor paint film effect.
