Abstract

The invention provides a flavor-free water-oil universal color concentrate and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the field of dyes. The color concentrate comprises the following components: 15-30 parts of metal complex dye, 15-35 parts of emulsifier, 4-10 parts of humectant, 5-10 parts of cosolvent, 30-40 parts of odor-free organic solvent and 0-10 parts of deionized water. The color concentrate can reduce dust pollution, and has the advantages of improving hydrophilicity, reducing VOC emission, removing peculiar smell and the like.

Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of dyes, in particular to a odorless water-oil universal color concentrate and a preparation method thereof.
Background
The dye essence is a metal complex dye, also called transparent dye, is a dye which is easily dissolved in organic solvents such as aromatic, ester, styrene, methyl propionate and the like, and comprises a metal complex disperse dye and a metal complex neutral dye besides an acid metal complex dye.
The metal complex dye has the following excellent performance characteristics: the dye has high concentration, bright color, excellent acid resistance, alkali resistance and high temperature resistance, can be dissolved by an organic solvent, is convenient to use, has no dust pollution, can be prepared into a solvent type color concentrate, has excellent compatibility with various resins, and has wide application range.
In recent years, in order to reduce VOC emission, a series of oil-to-water policies are established in China, in response to the national policies, many resin manufacturers change resins into water-soluble ones, so that metal complex dyes and solvent-type color concentrates cannot be compatible with water-based resins, and the metal complex dyes are replaced by the water-soluble dyes, so that the compatibility of the dyes and the water-based resins can be improved, but the performances of dispersibility, acid and alkali resistance, high temperature resistance and the like are not better than those of the metal complex dyes.
Therefore, the development of the universal color concentrates for water and oil is an urgent problem to be solved in the coating industry. The patent with the application number of 202110167772.4 discloses a resin-free color paste and a preparation method and application thereof, the patent mixes a water phase containing an emulsifier component and an oil phase containing a pigment, and octenyl succinic acid esterified starch introduces a hydrophobic group into starch molecules, so that the starch has amphipathy, can prevent polymer components from being reagglomerated in emulsion, increases the stability of an emulsification system, and reduces the layering/settling rate of emulsion, thereby improving the stability of the color paste, and simultaneously having the emulsification and thickening effects, but the patent has complex process and higher production cost.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, the invention provides the universal color concentrate for the odorless water oil and the preparation method thereof, and the universal color concentrate for the odorless water oil provided by the invention can reduce dust pollution, and has the advantages of improving hydrophilicity, reducing VOC (volatile organic compounds) emission, removing peculiar smell and the like.
The odorless water-oil universal color concentrate comprises the following components in parts by weight: 15-30 parts of metal complex dye, 15-35 parts of emulsifier, 4-10 parts of humectant, 5-10 parts of cosolvent, 30-40 parts of odor-free organic solvent and 0-10 parts of deionized water.
Preferably, the metal complex dye is at least one of an acid metal complex dye and a metal complex neutral dye.
More preferably, the metal complex dye is metal complex dye blue 5 (solvent blue 5), acid red NM 3BL, metal complex dye yellow 21 (solvent yellow 21), metal complex dye red 122.
The metal complex neutral dye is used for replacing a water-soluble acid dye, so that the sun-proof and weather-proof performance of the dye can be improved; the acid dye can be used for fine adjustment of color difference, so that the color is more bright.

Preferably, the standing time in the step (3) is 48 to 96 hours.
More preferably, the standing time in the step (3) is 72 h.
The color concentrate can avoid the phenomenon that the salt is separated out to cause the spots of the product in the use process of an alcohol system due to overhigh alcohol content through desalting.
Preferably, the rotation speed of the dispersion machine used for the dispersion in the step (3) is 600-1000 rpm.
The dispersion rotating speed is lower than 600 revolutions per minute, the dispersion time of the emulsifier is long, and the production efficiency is low; the rotating speed is higher than 1000 revolutions per minute, the foaming is easy to happen too fast, and the rotating speed is 600 and 1000 revolutions per minute, so that the requirement of dispersing the emulsifier can be met and the foaming is not happened.
Compared with the prior art, the universal color concentrate for the odorless water and oil has the advantages of high hydrophilicity, bright color, acid resistance, alkali resistance, high temperature resistance, VOC emission reduction and the like.

8. starting a dispersion machine, regulating the rotation speed to 1000 revolutions per minute, dispersing for 60 minutes to ensure that the dispersion state of the materials is good, shoveling the bottom of the dispersion machine by using a material to ensure that the bottom does not sink, if the bottom sinks, continuously dispersing until the materials are completely and uniformly dispersed, stopping the dispersion machine, and standing for 72 hours to remove salt, so as to prevent salt particles from being separated out in a resin system with the alcohol content of more than 80% and influence the compatibility;

10. sampling and inspecting, wherein the product is qualified if the product meets the detection standards of the following table, and if the product is unqualified, adjusting the product according to the detection result (adding emulsifier if the water solubility is poor, and adjusting the color difference by using metal complex pigment if the color difference is poor).
11. After the adjustment is qualified, filtering and packaging the mixture by using a 1 micron filter screen to obtain the odorless water-oil universal color concentrate.

The preparation method is the same as example 1.
Comparative example 1
The common solvent yellow essence comprises the following components in parts by weight: metal complex dye yellow 2120 parts and dimethyl formamide (DMF)80 parts, and the raw materials are mixed.
Comparative example 2
The common solvent red essence comprises the following components in parts by weight: 12220 parts of metal complex dye red and 80 parts of dimethyl formamide (DMF), and mixing the raw materials.
Comparative example 3
The common solvent blue essence comprises the following components in parts by weight: 515 parts of metal complex dye blue and 85 parts of dimethyl formamide (DMF), and the raw materials are mixed.
The performance of the color concentrates obtained in examples 1 to 3 and comparative examples 1 to 3 of the present invention was tested, and the test results were as follows:
1. comparison of Water solubility test
The odorless universal color concentrates prepared in the examples 1-3 of the invention can be completely dissolved in water, while the comparative examples 1-3 have poor solubility in water, can not be completely dissolved and have turbid aqueous solutions.
2. Aqueous resin detection
The odorless universal color concentrate prepared in the examples 1-3 of the invention has good compatibility and excellent color development performance in an aqueous resin system, while the comparative examples 1-3 have extremely poor compatibility in the aqueous resin system and are particles which cannot be dissolved; under the condition of the same dye content, the examples 1-3 of the invention show much higher tinting strength and bright color in a water-based resin system than the comparative examples 1-3, and the invention is more suitable for the water-based resin system.

6. The odorless water and oil universal color concentrate of claim 1, wherein the odorless organic solvent is at least one of ethanol, propylene glycol methyl ether, ethylene glycol tert-butyl ether and ethyl acetate.
