Description

Universal color concentrate for odor-free water and oil and preparation method thereof
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of dyes, in particular to a universal color concentrate for odor-free water and oil and a preparation method thereof.
Background
The color concentrate refers to metal complex dye, also called transparent dye, which is a dye easily dissolved in aromatic, ester, styrene, methyl methylpropionate and other organic solvents, and comprises metal complex disperse dye and metal complex neutral dye besides acid metal complex dye.
Since the metal complex dye has excellent performance characteristics: the dye is high in concentration, bright in color and excellent in acid resistance, alkali resistance and high temperature resistance, can be dissolved by an organic solvent, is convenient to use, has no dust pollution, can be prepared into solvent-type color concentrates, and is excellent in compatibility with various resins, so that the dye has a very wide application range.
In recent years, in order to reduce the emission of VOC, a series of policies for changing oil into water are formulated, in order to respond to the national policies, many resin manufacturers have changed the resin into water-soluble, so that the metal complex dye and the solvent-type color concentrate cannot be compatible with water-based resin, and the water-soluble dye is used for replacing the metal complex dye, so that the compatibility of the dye and the water-based resin can be improved, but the dispersibility, the acid-base resistance, the high temperature resistance and other performances are inferior to those of the metal complex dye.
Therefore, developing a water-oil universal color concentrate is a problem to be solved urgently in the coating industry. The patent with application number 202110167772.4 discloses a resin-free color paste, a preparation method and application thereof, wherein the water phase containing an emulsifier component and the oil phase containing pigment are mixed, and the octenyl succinic acid esterified starch introduces hydrophobic groups into starch molecules to enable the starch molecules to have amphipathy, so that the high polymer components can be prevented from being recombined in emulsion, the stability of an emulsifying system is improved, the layering/sedimentation rate of the emulsion is reduced, the stability of the color paste is improved, and meanwhile, the technology of the patent is complex, and the production cost is higher.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, the invention provides a general color concentrate for odor-free water and oil and a preparation method thereof, and the general color concentrate for odor-free water and oil provided by the invention can reduce dust pollution and has the advantages of improving hydrophilicity, reducing VOC emission, removing peculiar smell and the like.

Preferably, the cosolvent is at least one of urea, salicylate and triethanolamine. The pH is regulated, the dissolution speed of the dye is increased, the dye agglomeration is prevented, and the storage stability of the color concentrate is improved.
Preferably, the odor removing organic solvent is at least one of ethanol, propylene glycol methyl ether, ethylene glycol tertiary butyl ether and ethyl acetate. Through mixed use, the dye can be completely dissolved without agglomeration, and the smell is reduced.
The invention also aims to provide a preparation method of the universal color concentrate for the odor-free water and oil, which comprises the following steps of:
(1) Feeding a cosolvent, an odor-removing organic solvent and a humectant into a dispersing tank, and uniformly stirring and dispersing to obtain a first dispersing agent;
(2) Feeding the metal complex dye into the first dispersing agent, and uniformly stirring and dispersing to obtain a second dispersing agent;

Preferably, the standing time in the step (3) is 48-96 hours.
More preferably, the standing time in step (3) is 72 hours.
The color concentrate is desalted, so that the phenomenon that salt is separated out due to the fact that the alcohol content is too high in the use process of an alcohol system, and spots appear in the product can be avoided.
Preferably, the speed of the disperser used in the dispersing in step (3) is 600-1000 rpm.
The dispersing rotating speed is lower than 600 revolutions per minute, the dispersing time of the emulsifier is long, and the production efficiency is low; the rotating speed is higher than 1000 revolutions per minute, so that the foaming is easy to occur too fast, and the rotating speed is 600-1000 revolutions per minute, so that the requirement of dispersing the emulsifier can be met, and the foaming is avoided.
Compared with the prior art, the general color concentrate for the odor-free water and oil has the advantages of high hydrophilicity, bright color, acid resistance, alkali resistance, high temperature resistance, VOC emission reduction and the like.
