Description

Incontinence nursing ointment and preparation method thereof
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of medical treatment, and relates to a nursing ointment, in particular to an incontinence nursing ointment which has the advantages of air permeability, waterproof isolation, excellent anti-dipping property, convenient use and capability of clinically relieving skin irritation of an incontinence patient caused by moisture, urine and/or excrement and a preparation method thereof.
Background
The total number of patients affected by incontinence worldwide has currently exceeded 2 million people, with 65 years old being the major incontinent population. In recent years, the degree of aging of the population has been increasing, and the aged 65 years and older is increasing. The enormous and rapidly growing population of the elderly provides a large potential consumer segment for the development of the adult incontinence product market. Meanwhile, with the gradual improvement of the consumption concept of domestic incontinence people, the functional requirements of adult incontinence products caused by operations, fertility or long-distance transportation are increasing.
In the aspect of western medicines, no external medicine which is used for treating and protecting early and middle-stage incontinent dermatitis and has simple and convenient use and obvious effect is available at present. Incontinent dermatitis can occur in clinic, community and family care, and is especially common for elderly patients and long-term bedridden patients without mobility. The skin of healthy people has pH value of 4-6 and is acidic. The pH plays an important acidic outer membrane role in the skin barrier. This acidic outer membrane helps regulate resident bacteria (skin microorganisms) on the skin and also ensures optimal stratum corneum binding barrier function. Incontinence Associated Dermatitis (IAD) is prone to occur when the local stratum corneum barrier function is impaired when the skin pH increases due to frequent bowel and urine irritation. Secondary infection can be caused when the patient is serious, so that the pain of the patient is brought, the hospitalization time is prolonged, the waste of medical resources is caused, and the unnecessary nursing workload is increased.
The current way of care for incontinence sufferers is generally to use a diaper pad or a disposable urine isolation pad to be laid under the buttocks of the sufferer after the affected part of the incontinence is cleaned and dried, or wear an incontinence diaper on the sufferer.
The main defects are as follows: (1) when a patient is found to be incontinent by medical staff or family members, the skin of the patient is often soaked by the excrement of the patient for a period of time, and although the urine isolation pad and the urine pad have certain absorbability, the contacted skin is also in a moist environment after the excrement is absorbed, and the moisture cannot be effectively isolated. (2) Prolonged contact rubbing of the incontinence patient's skin against underwear, urine pads or diapers can cause damage to the skin.

Referring to fig. 2, the test results are: the blank was fully impregnated, example 2 was partially impregnated, and examples 1 and 3 were slightly impregnated.
Scouring resistance test
Taking 4 testers, marking 4 square frames of 2.5cm x 5cm on the arm of each tester, marking, coating 0.05g of the paste in 4 frames, taking an uncoated group as a blank control, standing for 5min after coating, spraying the test area for 3 times by using a sprayer filled with water, and observing whether round water beads are formed in each test area. After observation, the water on the skin is slightly absorbed by the water-absorbing non-woven fabric sheet, the water-absorbing non-woven fabric sheet soaked by the normal saline is used for continuously cleaning the test area on the arm in a light pressing mode for 7 times, after the cleaning, the test area is sprayed for 3 times, and whether the test area has round water drops or not is observed. The above steps were repeated for a number of cycles until no beads appeared after spraying, and the final number of cycles for each test zone was recorded, the results are shown in table 6.
