In an alternative embodiment, the terminal stops presenting the countdown in response to the sliding operation on the at least one recommended media resource, and presents resource prompting information in an area where the countdown is located, wherein the resource prompting information is used for prompting the recommended media resource to be played based on the selection operation. Illustratively, fig. 10 is a schematic diagram of a landscape playing interface according to an exemplary embodiment, and referring to fig. 10, the resource prompting message may be "select a video bar of interest" displayed in "area 1001" of the landscape playing interface shown in fig. 10.
In step 306, if the display duration of the at least one recommended media resource reaches the first duration, the terminal plays a target media resource in the cross-screen playing interface, where the target media resource is a recommended media resource determined based on the ranking of the at least one recommended media resource.
The first time period is a preset time period, such as 5 seconds. The target media asset is a recommended media asset ranked first in the at least one recommended media asset. For example, referring to FIG. 7 or FIG. 8 or FIG. 9, the target media asset may be the first recommended media asset to the left of the lateral list shown in the figure.
In some embodiments, the target media asset is determined based on the type of recommended media asset. Taking the first media resource as an example, the target media resource is a media resource which is added recently in the later-watching list and has been played but has not been played, that is, a later-watching type media resource which has not been watched recently by the user; taking the second media resource as an example, the target media resource is the media resource whose collection number is closest to the collection number of the media resource in the media resources whose collection number is greater than the collection number of the media resource in the media resource collection, that is, the media resource of the next collection of the currently played media resource; taking the third media resource as an example, the target media resource is a media resource with the highest correlation with the media resource, among the media resources with the same resource tag as the media resource, or a media resource which is released most recently, among the media resources which have been released by the release account.
In some embodiments, whether the presentation duration reaches the first duration is determined based on the displayed countdown, with the corresponding process: and the terminal responds to the end of the countdown, and automatically plays the target media resource in the at least one recommended media resource in the horizontal screen playing interface.
In some embodiments, the terminal displays a resource play prompt at the position of the target media resource displayed on the horizontal screen play interface, where the resource play prompt is used to prompt that the target media resource is to be played. In an optional embodiment, the terminal displays the asset play prompt at the position of the target media asset displayed on the landscape play interface during the countdown. Therefore, the information quantity displayed on the transverse screen playing interface is increased by displaying the resource playing prompt, so that the user is prompted to play the target media resource. For example, referring to FIG. 7 or FIG. 8 or FIG. 9, the asset play prompt may be "to play" displayed in the upper left corner of the asset cover for the first recommended media asset.
Step 306 is to automatically play the target media resource when the display duration reaches the first duration, and in other embodiments, the recommended media resource can be triggered to be played based on a selection operation performed by the user, so as to implement switching of the media resource, where the corresponding process is as follows: and the terminal responds to the selection operation of any recommended media resource and plays the selected recommended media resource in the cross screen playing interface. In the two embodiments, the user can switch and play the media resources without quitting the cross screen playing interface, the operation path for switching the media resources is simplified, the man-machine interaction efficiency is improved, the user can actively select the desired media resources and can completely break away from the manual operation, the next video is automatically switched, and the flexibility of media resource display is improved.
In the embodiment shown in steps 305 to 306, when the media resources are played, the recommended media resources in the same resource set are presented to the user based on the resource set to which the currently played media resource belongs, so that the relevance between the presented recommended media resource and the current media resource is higher, and further when the presentation duration of the recommended media resource reaches a certain duration, the target media resource is automatically played based on the ranking of the presented recommended media resources, that is, the media resource with the highest relevance to the current media resource is played for the user, in the above process, on the basis of presenting the media resources belonging to the same resource set as the current media resource for the user, the media resource can be switched and played without exiting the cross-screen playing interface and without manual selection of the user, thereby simplifying the operation path for switching the media resources, the human-computer interaction efficiency is improved.
In some embodiments, after step 306 is executed, the terminal switches the currently played target media resource to the played media resource in response to a first sliding operation in the horizontal screen playing interface; or the terminal responds to the second sliding operation in the horizontal screen playing interface and switches the currently played target media resource into the next media resource according to the sequencing of the at least one recommended media resource.
In some embodiments, the first sliding operation is a sliding down operation, and accordingly, the terminal switches the currently played media resource to the previous media resource in response to the sliding down operation in the landscape playing interface, that is, switches the media resource played in step 306 to the media resource played in step 301.
In some embodiments, the second sliding operation is a slide-up operation, and accordingly, the terminal switches the currently played media asset to the next media asset in response to the slide-up operation in the landscape playing interface.
In some embodiments, in the case that the currently played media resource belongs to the first resource set or the second resource set, the terminal performs, in response to the sliding operation, the playing of the media resource according to the ranking of at least one recommended media resource in the first resource set or the second resource set. Further, in the process of sliding switching of the media resources, in response to that the media resources in the first resource set or the second resource set are played completely, acquiring the recommended media resources in the third resource set, and playing according to the ranking of the recommended media resources in the third resource set.
