A stretchable display includes a substrate, a plurality of first electronic elements, and a plurality of bridges. The substrate is provided with a first surface, a second surface and a plurality of through holes, wherein the first surface and the second surface are oppositely arranged, and the plurality of through holes are arranged between the first surface and the second surface. The plurality of first electronic elements are arranged on the first surface. Stretchable display
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a stretchable display in which a plurality of first electronic components are coupled to each other using a bridge and a plurality of through holes.
Background
The stretchable display is a fully flexible display which can be folded and stretched in any direction, and is not a unidirectional bend of a common flexible display, so that the size of the stretchable display can be enlarged or reduced according to actual conditions without affecting the display of pictures, and the stretchable display is wider in application, such as a mobile phone, a wearable device or an automobile dashboard.
In the conventional stretchable display, the island regions (island) are connected with each other by using stretchable wires (bridge), the area occupied by the stretchable wires and the island on the plane affects the amount of stretch that the display can bear, and the longer the stretchable wires are, the greater the amount of stretch can be borne. However, the problem of the resolution reduction of the stretchable display after stretching is how to improve the above-mentioned disadvantages, which is a problem to be solved.
In view of the foregoing, the inventor of the present invention has devised and designed a stretchable display to improve the shortcomings of the prior art and further enhance the industrial application.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above-mentioned problems, it is an object of the present invention to provide a stretchable display, which solves the problems encountered in the prior art.
In view of the above, the present invention provides a stretchable display, which includes a substrate, a plurality of first electronic elements, and a plurality of bridges. The substrate is provided with a first surface, a second surface and a plurality of through holes, wherein the first surface and the second surface are oppositely arranged, and the plurality of through holes are arranged between the first surface and the second surface. The plurality of first electronic elements are arranged on the first surface. As shown in fig. 2A and fig. 2B, the stretchable display of the present invention comprises a substrate 10B, a plurality of first electronic elements 20, and a plurality of bridges 30B, which are similar to the first embodiment, and the description of the similarity is omitted here, but the second embodiment of the present invention is different from the first embodiment, and the differences are: the first electronic elements 20 of the substrate 10B have grooves GR disposed on the first surface S1, and positions of the grooves GR projected on the second surface S2 overlap positions of the bridges 30B, that is, positions of the grooves GR correspond to positions of the bridges 30B. As shown in fig. 3, the stretchable display of the present invention comprises a substrate 10A, a plurality of first electronic elements 20 and a plurality of bridges 30A, which are similar to the first embodiment and will not be described again, but the third embodiment of the present invention is different from the first embodiment in that: the second side S2 includes an auxiliary area AR, the present invention further includes a second electronic component 40, the second electronic component 40 is disposed in the auxiliary area AR; the first side S1 includes a plurality of receiving areas AS, the receiving areas AS receive the first electronic components 20, a single receiving area AS receives the first electronic components 20, for example, the single receiving area AS receives 3 first electronic components 20, and the plurality of bridges 30A are respectively disposed between the first electronic components 20 in different receiving areas AS. As shown in fig. 4, the stretchable display of the present invention comprises a substrate 10B, a plurality of first electronic elements 20, a plurality of bridges 30B, and a plurality of grooves GR, which are similar to the second embodiment, and the description of the similar parts is omitted, but the fourth embodiment of the present invention is different from the second embodiment, and its difference: the second side S2 includes an auxiliary area AR, the present invention further includes a second electronic component 40, the second electronic component 40 is disposed in the auxiliary area AR; the plurality of first electronic components 20 are distributed in a plurality of accommodating areas AS, a single accommodating area AS accommodates a plurality of first electronic components 20, grooves GR are formed between the accommodating areas AS, and the plurality of bridge pieces 30B are respectively disposed between the first electronic components 20 of the same accommodating area AS. According to the foregoing, the strain amount corresponding to the auxiliary area AR is larger, and the strain amount corresponding to the area outside the auxiliary area AR is smaller, so that the distance between the adjacent first electronic elements 20 is lengthened when the stretchable display of the present invention is stretched, which may cause the resolution of the area where the first electronic elements 20 are located to be reduced, the first electronic elements 20 and the second electronic elements 40 should be disposed in the auxiliary area AR, and the first electronic elements 20 and the second electronic elements 40 may be disposed outside the auxiliary area AR, so as to improve the resolution reduction problem; by the above mechanism, the resolution of the stretchable display of the present invention is significantly increased to meet the current high resolution requirement.
In view of the above, in the stretchable display of the present invention, the plurality of bridges 30A or 30B are disposed on the second surface S2 of the substrate 10A or 10B, and the plurality of first electronic elements 20 are disposed on the first surface S1 of the substrate 10A or 10B, so that the bridges 30A or 30B and the first electronic elements 20 are located on different planes, thereby increasing the routing space of the display and increasing the tensile strength of the display.

Claims (10)

1. A stretchable display, comprising:

a plurality of first electronic elements arranged on the first surface; and
the plurality of bridging pieces are arranged on the second surface, each first electronic element is coupled with the plurality of bridging pieces through the plurality of through holes, and the plurality of bridging pieces transmit an electronic signal received by one of the plurality of first electronic elements to the other coupled first electronic element.
2. The stretchable display of claim 1, wherein the plurality of first electronic elements are disposed apart from each other.
3. The stretchable display of claim 1, wherein a plurality of grooves are formed on the first surface of the substrate, and each of the grooves is disposed between each of the first electronic elements, and further wherein the position of the groove projected on the second surface overlaps the position of the bridge.
4. The stretchable display of claim 1, wherein each of the bridges has a first end and a second end, and the first end and the second end are respectively coupled to two adjacent first electronic components.
5. The stretchable display of claim 1, wherein the plurality of bridges comprise U-shaped or undulating conductive lines.
6. The stretchable display of claim 1, wherein the second side comprises an auxiliary area, the stretchable display further comprising a plurality of second electronic elements disposed in the auxiliary area and electrically connected to each other.
7. The stretchable display of claim 6, wherein the first face comprises a plurality of receiving areas, the plurality of receiving areas receiving the plurality of first electronic components.
8. The stretchable display of claim 7, wherein if the auxiliary region partially overlaps the plurality of first electronic components, the first electronic components located in different accommodating regions are electrically connected to each other through the through holes and the bridge, and each of the second electronic components is coupled to a plurality of first electronic components adjacent to the second electronic component through the through holes.
9. The stretchable display of claim 6, wherein the stress corresponding to the auxiliary region is greater than the stress corresponding to outside the auxiliary region.
