Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, but not all, embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, there is provided an embodiment of a chassis VPD information processing method, it should be noted that the steps shown in the flowchart of the drawings may be executed in a computer system such as a set of computer executable instructions, and that although a logical order is shown in the flowchart, in some cases, the steps shown or described may be executed in an order different from that here.
In this embodiment, a method for processing VPD information of a chassis is provided, which can be used in a storage device of a storage device, such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a computer, and the like, and fig. 1 is a flowchart of a method for processing VPD information of a chassis according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 1, the flowchart includes the following steps:
and S11, acquiring the access state and the access content corresponding to the VPD information.
After the storage system is started, an Expander (SAS Expander) following an SAS protocol accesses a storage space for storing VPD information in the back plate and the main plate. The access state is the access state of the SAS Expander to a storage space for storing VPD information, and the storage space may be a storage chip, such as an Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EEPROM), and data is not lost after power failure, so that integrity of VPD information can be better ensured. The access content is important attribute data of a hardware product corresponding to the VPD information, such as a product model, a product serial number, important data specified by equipment and the like.
Specifically, the SAS Expander may store an access state and access content corresponding to the VPD information into a corresponding page according to a preset security encryption standard, an application layer of the storage system includes an entity management (EN) module, and the EN module may analyze the page in which the access state and access content corresponding to the VPD information are stored according to a security encryption standard protocol, so as to obtain the access state and access content of the SAS Expander to the VPD information. The security encryption standard may be an SES encryption protocol, or may be other encryption protocols, and is not limited herein.
And S12, judging whether the access state is normal.
The access state is used for representing whether an access link of the SAS Expander to a storage space for storing VPD information in the back plate and the main plate is smooth or not. The EN module in the storage device may check the access status of the VPD information to confirm that the current access status has a higher priority, i.e., whether the access status is normal. When the access state is normal, step S13 is executed, otherwise, other operations are executed, and the other operations may acquire the access state again to continue detecting, or may issue an access abnormality alarm, and this time, no specific limitation is imposed on the other operations.
And S13, performing validity check on the access content.
When the access state is normal, the SAS Expander indicates that an access link to the VPD information is normal, and at the moment, the storage device can perform validity check on the access content of the VPD information to confirm the validity and the legality of the access content. When the access content of the VPD information does not pass the validity check, step S14 is executed, otherwise, it indicates that the access content is valid, that is, the access content corresponding to the current VPD information is correct and valid.
And S14, when the access content fails to pass the validity check, sending out alarm information, wherein the alarm information is used for distinguishing fault categories.
When the access content corresponding to the VPD information does not pass the validity check, the storage device can send out alarm information so that technicians can take corresponding maintenance measures according to the alarm information. The alarm information can distinguish fault categories, namely the VPD information of the back panel is invalid and the VPD information of the main panel is invalid. Therefore, the technical personnel can determine that the mainboard or the backboard needs to be replaced according to the alarm information.
According to the chassis VPD information processing method provided by the embodiment, the validity of the access content corresponding to the VPD information is verified on the premise that the access state is normal, and if the access content is abnormal, an alarm is given, so that a user can execute corresponding fault processing measures according to the alarm information, the chassis VPD information is guaranteed to be valid all the time, and the reliability and the safety of storage equipment are improved.
In this embodiment, a VPD information processing method for a chassis is provided, which can be used for a storage device in a storage device, such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a computer, and the like, and fig. 2 is a flowchart of the VPD information processing method for a chassis according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 2, the flowchart includes the following steps:
and S21, acquiring the access state and the access content corresponding to the VPD information. For a detailed description, refer to the related description of step S11 corresponding to the above embodiment, and the detailed description is omitted here.
And S22, judging whether the access state is normal. For a detailed description, refer to the related description of step S11 corresponding to the above embodiment, and the detailed description is omitted here.
And S23, when the access state is normal, performing validity check on the access content.
Specifically, the step S23 may include;
s231, a verification mode of the access content is obtained, wherein the access content comprises a back panel VPD content and a main panel VPD content.
The check mode is a preset mode for checking the validity and validity of the access content, and the storage device can respectively check the back panel VPD content and the main board VPD content by adopting the check mode. For example, the storage device may use a string to verify the contents of the backplane VPD and the motherboard VPD. Certainly, the storage device may also perform validity check on the backplane VPD content and the motherboard VPD content by using other checking methods.
And S232, verifying the validity of the access content according to a verification mode.
The storage device can perform validity check on the access content corresponding to the VPD information according to a set check mode. When the access content passes the validity check, step S233 is performed, otherwise step S234 is performed. Specifically, if the character string is used for validity check, the storage device may determine whether the back plane VPD content and the motherboard VPD content are valid by determining whether the character string is a number, whether the character string is an english letter, whether the length of the character string is legal, and the like, and certainly, the number, the english letter, and the length may be determined by those skilled in the art according to actual needs, which is not specifically limited herein
And S233, judging that the access content is valid when the access content passes the validity check.
When the access content passes validity check, the back panel VPD content and the mainboard VPD content are correct and valid, at the moment, the storage device can judge that the access content is valid, and can display that the current access content is valid through a user interface (GUI) so as to ensure the normal work of the storage device.
And S234, when the access content does not pass the validity check, acquiring the access content corresponding to the VPD information again after a first preset time interval.
The first preset time duration is a time interval between the first verification failure of the access content and the second acquisition of the access content, and the first preset time duration may be 20s, 30s, or 40s, or may be other values, which is not specifically limited herein and may be determined by a person skilled in the art according to actual needs.
When the access content fails to pass the validity check, the current access content is invalid or illegal, and at this time, the storage device may reacquire the access content corresponding to the VPD information after a first preset time interval, so as to play a role in error and jitter prevention. The way of reacquiring the access content corresponding to the VPD information is consistent with the way of acquiring the access content corresponding to the VPD information for the first time, and is not described herein again.
And S235, checking the validity of the obtained access content again.
The storage device performs validity check on the reacquired access content according to a preset check mode, if the reacquired access content still fails the validity check, step S24 is executed, otherwise, it indicates that the first time the access content fails the validity check possibly caused by error jitter, and at this time, the storage device may determine that the access content is valid.
And S24, when the access content fails to pass the validity check, sending out alarm information, wherein the alarm information is used for distinguishing fault categories.
Specifically, the step S24 may include; and sending alarm information when the obtained access content still fails to pass validity verification, wherein the alarm information comprises first alarm information of the VPD content of the back panel and second alarm information of the VPD content of the main panel.
The first alarm information of the VPD content of the backboard shows that the VPD content of the backboard is illegal, and the second alarm information of the VPD content of the main board shows that the VPD content of the main board is illegal. When the obtained access content still fails to pass the validity check, the fact that the current access content fails to pass the validity check is not caused by error jitter, at the moment, the storage device can generate alarm information and display the alarm information on a user interface so as to remind technicians of timely troubleshooting.
According to the chassis VPD information processing method provided by the embodiment, validity verification is performed on the back panel VPD content and the main board VPD content according to the verification mode by obtaining the verification mode of the access content. When the access content passes the validity check, judging that the access content is valid; when the access content does not pass validity check, the access content corresponding to the VPD information is acquired again after a first preset time interval, if the access content acquired again still does not pass validity check, first warning information of the VPD content of the back plate and/or second warning information of the VPD content of the main plate are sent out to play a role in preventing errors and shaking, meanwhile, warning and distinguishing are carried out on the VPD content of the back plate and the VPD content of the main plate, so that corresponding maintenance measures can be taken in time to remove faults, and the safety and the reliability of the storage device are guaranteed.
In this embodiment, a VPD information processing method for a chassis is provided, which can be used in a storage device of a storage device, such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a computer, and the like, and fig. 3 is a flowchart of the VPD information processing method for a chassis according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 3, the flowchart includes the following steps:
and S31, acquiring the access state and the access content corresponding to the VPD information.
Specifically, the step S31 may include:
s311, monitoring broadcast data corresponding to the VPD information, wherein the broadcast data is triggered when the access state and/or the access content are/is changed.
When the access state and/or the access content corresponding to the VPD information are/is changed, the SAS Expander of the storage device triggers and sends the broadcast event, and the storage device driving layer can monitor the broadcast event sent by the SAS Expander in real time.
Specifically, the storage device is powered on when the storage device is started, and after the SAS Expander of the storage device is initialized, the storage device accesses the EEPROM in which the VPD is stored in the backplane and the motherboard, and when the SAS Expander fails to access the VPD information of the motherboard or the VPD information of the backplane, the storage device can be embodied in a page related to the page, and the access failure information can be specifically stored in page 0x02 according to the SES protocol. If the VPD information access is successful, the read VPD information is stored in the corresponding page 0xDX, where X may be determined by those skilled in the art according to actual needs, and is not limited herein.
The SAS Expander may poll the access status and/or the access content corresponding to the VPD information once at a certain interval to determine whether the access status and/or the access content corresponding to the VPD information has changed. If the access state and/or the access content corresponding to the VPD information change, the SAS Expander needs to encapsulate the changed access state and/or the changed access content in a data packet for broadcast data transmission. Accordingly, the storage device driver layer may monitor broadcast data sent by the SAS Expander in real time.
S312, the access status and the access content corresponding to the VPD information are analyzed based on the broadcast data corresponding to the VPD information.
After the storage device driver layer monitors broadcast data sent by the SAS Expander, a callback function of the EN module can be called to trigger a Discovery flow of the EN module, wherein the Discovery flow of the EN module is a flow interacting with the SAS Expander through an SCSI protocol. When the Discovery process is triggered, the EN sends an SCSI instruction to the SAS Expander to request page information through the protocol layer and the drive layer so as to acquire an access state and access content corresponding to the VPD information.
When the Discovery process is finished, the EN module performs a validator verification stage, and in the verification stage, the EN module may analyze the page according to the SES protocol to obtain the access state and the access content of the SAS Expander to the VPD information.
And S32, judging whether the access state is normal.
Specifically, the step S32 may include:
s321, determines whether the access state acquired for the first time is normal.
The first-time acquired access state is the state acquired after the access state is changed, and the EN module of the storage device judges whether the first-time acquired access state is abnormal or not so as to determine whether an access link of the SAS Expander for accessing the VPD information is normal or not. When the access state acquired for the first time is abnormal, step S322 is executed, otherwise step S33 is executed.
And S322, acquiring the access state corresponding to the VPD information again after a second preset time interval.
The second preset time length is a time interval for acquiring the access state again when the access state is abnormal, and the second preset time length may be 20s, may be 30s, or may be 40s, or may also be other values, which is not specifically limited herein, and may be determined by a person skilled in the art according to actual needs.
When the first obtained access state is abnormal, the SAS Expander is indicated to be abnormal in accessing the VPD information, and at this time, the storage device can obtain the access state corresponding to the VPD information again after a second preset time interval, so that the error anti-shaking effect is achieved. The way of reacquiring the access state corresponding to the VPD information is consistent with the way of acquiring the access state corresponding to the VPD information for the first time, and is not described herein again.
S323 determines whether the reacquired access state is normal.
The storage device judges whether the access state obtained again is normal, if the access state obtained again is abnormal, step S324 is executed, otherwise, it indicates that the first access state abnormality may be caused by error jitter, at this time, the storage device may judge that the access state is normal, and further perform validity check on the access content of the VPD information.
And S324, when the obtained access state is abnormal again, sending abnormal alarm information, wherein the abnormal alarm information comprises an alarm code, and distinguishing the VPD access failure of the back panel from the VPD access failure of the main panel by the alarm code.
When the obtained access state is abnormal again, the current access state is not caused by error jitter, and at the moment, the storage device can generate abnormal alarm information to indicate that the controller fails to access the VPD. Specifically, the abnormal warning information includes a warning code, and different abnormal access states can be distinguished through different warning codes, for example, a backplane VPD access failure is represented by a warning code D1, a motherboard VPD access failure is represented by a warning code D2, and a controller with access failure in the storage device can be determined through the warning information, so that a technician can perform corresponding maintenance measures according to the abnormal warning information to eliminate access abnormality.
And S33, when the access state is normal, performing validity check on the access content. For a detailed description, refer to the corresponding related description of the above embodiments, which is not repeated herein.
And S34, when the access content fails to pass the validity check, sending out alarm information, wherein the alarm information is used for distinguishing fault categories. For a detailed description, refer to the corresponding related description of the above embodiments, which is not repeated herein.
S35, responding to the maintenance operation of the alarm information, clearing the alarm information.
When the technical personnel find the alarm information in the routing inspection process, the technical personnel can determine corresponding maintenance measures according to the alarm information, such as replacing a main board, replacing a back board and the like. After the maintenance measures are completed by the technical staff, the information of the completion of the maintenance can be input into the storage equipment, accordingly, the storage equipment can respond to the maintenance operation of the alarm information, and the alarm information elimination is eliminated when the normal access state and the access content are obtained, so that misleading of the alarm information to the technical staff is avoided.
The chassis VPD information processing method provided by this embodiment monitors changes in the access state and the access content in real time, and detects whether the changed access state and access content are normal, thereby determining validity of the chassis VPD information in time and ensuring reliability and security of the storage device. By judging whether the access state acquired for the first time is normal or not, when the access state acquired for the first time is abnormal, the access state corresponding to the VPD information is acquired again after a second preset time interval, and if the access state acquired for the second time is abnormal, abnormal alarm information is sent out to play a role in preventing errors and shaking. The alarm code in the abnormal alarm information distinguishes the VPD access failure of the back panel and the VPD access failure of the main board, so that the communication link with the fault is convenient to determine to take corresponding maintenance measures to remove the fault. After the alarm information is sent, the alarm information is cleared in response to the maintenance operation of the alarm information, so that the alarm can be correspondingly eliminated after the fault is eliminated, and the normal work of the storage equipment is prevented from being influenced by the occurrence of the false alarm.
