Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present application more apparent, the present application is described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the present application and are not intended to limit the present application.
Fig. 1 shows a schematic diagram of a communication system to which the technical solution provided in the present application is applied, where the communication system may include an access network device 100 and a User Equipment (UE) 200. Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram, and does not limit the application scenarios of the technical solutions provided in the present application.
The access network device 100 may be a transmission reception node (TRP), a base station, a relay station, or an access point. The access network device 100 may be an access network device in a 5G communication system or an access network device in a future evolution network; but also wearable devices or vehicle-mounted devices, etc. In addition, the method can also comprise the following steps: a Base Transceiver Station (BTS) in a global system for mobile communication (GSM) or Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) network, or an nb (nodeb) in Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA), or an eNB or enodeb (evolved nodeb) in Long Term Evolution (LTE). The access network device 100 may also be a wireless controller in a Cloud Radio Access Network (CRAN) scenario. The present application will be described below with reference to a base station as an example.
User devices 200 include Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs), handheld devices with wireless communication capabilities, computing devices or other processing devices connected to wireless modems, in-vehicle devices, wearable devices, user devices in a 5G network or user devices in a future-evolution Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) network, and the like.
Currently, in the process of establishing a communication connection between a user equipment and an access network device, the access network device may inquire about a Carrier Aggregation (CA) capability of the user equipment, and the user equipment reports the CA capability to the access network device, so that the access network device may control the user equipment to complete a corresponding service access according to the CA capability of the user equipment.
Carrier aggregation capability refers to the ability of a UE to transmit and receive data on two or more contiguous or non-contiguous cells or carriers at the same time. The carrier aggregation capability includes a CA capability of a fourth Generation (4th-Generation, 4G), or includes a CA capability of a fifth Generation (5th-Generation, 5G), or includes a CA capability of 4G-5G, or includes a CA capability of 5G and a CA capability of 4G-5G, and the like. The CA capability of 4G-5G refers to an evolved universal terrestrial Radio access New air interface Dual connectivity (EN-DC) capability, and the EN-DC capability refers to a Dual connectivity capability of a 4G Radio access network and a 5G New air interface (New Radio, NR). Alternatively, the carrier aggregation capability may also include CA capabilities that need to be reported in the next generation cellular mobile communication system, and other mobile communication systems that are developed later. The EUTRA is an Evolved universal terrestrial Radio Access, and is collectively called Evolved universal terrestrial Radio Access.
In the prior art, the UE may send a CA combination to the access network device according to a sequence of frequency bands (bands) queried by the access network device and based on a maximum transmission capacity supported by radio frequency hardware of the UE and the user equipment, so that the access network device may configure a serving cell or a measurement gap according to the CA combination sent by the UE.
The frequency band (band) interrogated by the access network device may include a 4G band and a 5G band, where for convenience of description, the 4G band is denoted by B, and the 5G band is denoted by N. For example, band EUTRA 1 of 4G is abbreviated as B1, band EUTRA 3 is abbreviated as B3, band nr1 of 5G is abbreviated as N1, and band nr3 is abbreviated as N3.
If the band queried by the access network equipment includes a 4G band and a 5G band, where the 4G band queried by the access network equipment is sequentially B1, B3, B7, and B8, and the 5G band queried by the access network equipment is sequentially N1 and N3. If the radio frequency hardware of the user equipment can support the band queried by the access network equipment, the user equipment needs to send the CA capability of 4G-5G and the CA capability of 5G to the access network equipment. Wherein the CA capability of 4G-5G comprises a CA combination of 4G-5G, the CA combination of 4G-5G refers to EN-DC capability, and the CA capability of 5G comprises an NR-CA combination. However, due to the limitation of the maximum transmission capacity of 8 kbytes of the CA combination supported by the user equipment itself, the total transmission capacity of the CA capability of 4G-5G and the CA capability of 5G transmitted by the user equipment to the access network equipment at a time cannot exceed 8 kbytes. That is, for example, the user equipment sends 124 CA combinations of 4G-5G to the access network equipment, the sending capacity occupied by the CA combinations of 124 4G-5G is about more than 4 kbytes, and the remaining sending capacity is used for sending CA capability of 5G.
It should be noted that, if the user equipment only needs to send the CA capability of 4G-5G to the access network device, at most about sending 199 CA combinations of 4G-5G takes up 8 kbytes of transmission capacity. That is, limited by the maximum transmission capacity of 8 kbytes of the CA combination supported by the user equipment itself, the CA capability of 4G-5G transmitted by the user equipment includes about 124 and 199 CA combinations.
And when the user equipment sends the CA combination to the access network equipment, according to the sequence of the frequency bands queried by the network, the combination ranked most ahead in the CA combinations included in the CA capabilities of 4G-5G sent by the user equipment is the CA combination with B1 ahead, the CA combination with B3 ahead is the next, and so on, wherein the CA combination with B1 ahead is, for example, B1-B3-B7-B8-N1, B1-B3-B7-B8-N3, B1-B3-B7-N1, B1-B3-B7-N3, and so on. In the current method for reporting the CA combination to the access network device by the user equipment, the CA combination sent to the access network device is not the CA combination supported by the access network device.
For example, in the process that the user equipment accesses the network-connected access network equipment in the network, the CA combinations supported by the network-connected access network equipment in china mobile or in chinese telecommunications are reported to the network-connected access network equipment in china telecom, and these CA combinations do not have any use for the network-connected access network equipment in china telecom, and even if the user equipment can successfully access the network, the network-connected access network equipment will not allocate resources corresponding to these important CA combinations to the user equipment because the network-connected access network equipment in china telecom does not receive the important CA combinations. Therefore, how to send CA combinations to access network devices with limited capacity becomes a problem to be solved by those skilled in the art.
In order to solve the above technical problem, based on the communication system shown in fig. 1, the present application provides a method for transmitting carrier aggregation capability. Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a method for reporting carrier aggregation capability according to an embodiment of the present application, where an execution main body of the embodiment is a user equipment, and the method includes the following steps:
s201, receiving a capability query request sent by access network equipment, wherein the capability query request is used for querying the Carrier Aggregation (CA) capability of user equipment, and the capability query request carries a frequency band identifier.
The capability query request may be ue capability entity, and the identifier of the band carried in the ue capability entity, for example, identifiers B1, B3, B7, and B8 of the carried band.
The frequency band carried in the capability query request may be a frequency band where a same-frequency point configured for the user equipment by the access network equipment is located, for example: the frequency band of the frequency point of the service cell accessed by the user equipment currently, the frequency band of the frequency point of the service cell reconfigured by the access network equipment for the user equipment, and the like;
the access network device configures frequency bands where other frequency points besides the same frequency point are located for the user equipment, for example: measuring the frequency band of the target frequency point by pilot frequency; the frequency band where the frequency point which is not configured for the user by the access network equipment is located; and the frequency band of the frequency point of other access network equipment adjacent to the access network equipment.
S202, sending equipment capability information to the access network equipment according to the capability query request, wherein the equipment capability information comprises an identifier of a first CA combination, the first CA combination comprises a carrier wave in a frequency band, and the first CA combination is a CA combination supported by an operator network to which an identity card of the user equipment belongs and the user equipment.
The user equipment may determine a Carrier Aggregation (CA) combination commonly supported by an operator network and the user equipment according to the operator network to which an Identity Module (SIM) card in the user equipment belongs.
For convenience of description, the SIM card and its evolution are collectively referred to as the SIM card in the embodiments of the present application. For example, the SIM card may be an identification card of a global system for mobile communications (GSM) digital mobile phone user, which is used for storing an identification code and a secret key of the user and supporting authentication of the user by the GSM system. For another example, the SIM card may be a Universal Subscriber Identity Module (USIM), which may also be referred to as an upgraded SIM card.
A user equipment manufacturer may pre-configure CA capability information in user equipment before the user equipment leaves a factory, where the CA capability information configured in the user equipment may include CA combinations supported by multiple operators. The CA capability information may be stored in a memory (e.g., non-volatile memory) of the user equipment.
The CA capability information may include an identifier of each operator and an identifier of a CA combination supported by the corresponding operator.
In some implementations, the identity of the operator may be the PLMN of the operator. The PLMN is composed of MCC and Mobile Network Code (MNC) of the country where the operator is located. The MCC is uniformly distributed and managed by International Telecommunications Union (ITU) worldwide, and is used to uniquely identify different countries in a global mobile communication system, and the number of MCCs is 3. For example, MCC 460 in China. MNCs are typically composed of 2-3 digits. The MNCs of different operators are different, and the MNCs of mobile networks of different standards of the same operator are also different.
In some embodiments, the identity of the operator may be the MCC of the country in which the operator is located. When the CA capability information of a plurality of operators is preconfigured in the user equipment, if the CA combination supported by the operator a is not collected, the default CA combination configured in the country where the operator a is located may be used as the CA combination supported by the operator a. In this case, the MCC of the country where the operator a is located is adopted as the identifier of the operator a. That is, the CA capability information may include: the MCC of the country where operator a is located and the identity of the default CA combination configured for the country where operator a is located.
In the method for reporting carrier aggregation capability provided in this embodiment, a capability query request sent by an access network device is received, where the capability query request is used to query a carrier aggregation CA capability of a user equipment, and the capability query request carries an identifier of a frequency band, and device capability information is sent to the access network device according to the capability query request, where the device capability information includes an identifier of a first CA combination, the first CA combination includes a carrier in the frequency band, and the first CA combination is a CA combination supported by an operator network to which an identity card of the user equipment belongs and the user equipment. In the conventional reporting method, the user equipment reports the CA combinations to the access network equipment based on the sequence of the frequency bands inquired by the network, and there are CA combinations which are not supported by the access network equipment and are reported to the access network equipment. In the embodiment of the present application, the device capability information reported by the user equipment includes an identifier of a first CA combination, and the first CA combination is a CA combination supported by both the operator network to which the identity card of the user equipment belongs and the user equipment, so that reporting of a CA combination that is not supported by the access network equipment to the access network equipment is avoided.
Optionally, the device capability information includes identifiers of the plurality of first CA combinations, and the identifiers of the plurality of first CA combinations are sorted according to priorities of the plurality of first CA combinations.
In this embodiment, the CA combination supported by the operator network, which is configured in advance in the user equipment, corresponds to a priority, and the priority of the CA combination is set according to the importance degree of the CA combination supported by the operator network, for example, the priority of the CA combination that the user equipment must support when accessing the network is set to be the highest.
In this embodiment, since the identifiers of the plurality of first CA combinations are sorted according to the priorities of the plurality of first CA combinations, it can be ensured that the user equipment reports important CA combinations to the access network equipment as much as possible.
Optionally, the capability query request is specifically used for querying various CA capabilities of the user equipment;
the device capability information includes a plurality of identification sets respectively corresponding to the plurality of CA capabilities, each identification set includes identifications of a plurality of first CA combinations related to the corresponding CA capability, and the identifications of the plurality of first CA combinations included in each identification set are sorted according to priority.
In this embodiment, the device capability information includes a plurality of identifier sets respectively corresponding to the plurality of CA capabilities. It should be noted that, when the access network device queries multiple CA capabilities of the user equipment, the user equipment may carry the multiple CA capabilities in one UECapabilityInformation message.
When multiple CA capabilities are carried in one UECapabilityInformation message, the device capability information includes multiple identity sets respectively corresponding to the multiple CA capabilities. For example, the device capability information includes an identification set 1 corresponding to the CA capability of 4G-5G and an identification set 2 corresponding to the CA capability of 5G, the identification set 1 includes identifications of a plurality of first CA combinations related to the CA capability of 4G-5G, the identification set 2 includes identifications of a plurality of first CA combinations related to the CA capability of 5G, and the plurality of first CA combinations included in the identification set 1 are sorted by priority, and the plurality of first CA combinations included in the identification set 2 are sorted by priority.
The multiple first CA combinations included in each identifier set are sorted according to priority, which means that which first CA combinations are the highest in priority among the multiple first CA combinations included in the identifier set, the first CA combinations are sorted more in front, and thus the first CA combinations with high priority in each identifier set are reported preferentially. For example, because of the capacity limitation of reporting CA combinations by the user equipment, if the user equipment reports 124 first CA combinations related to CA capabilities of 4G-5G to the access network equipment, the first CA combination ranked the top among the 124 first CA combinations is the first CA combination with the highest priority.
In this embodiment, since the identifiers of the plurality of first CA combinations are sorted from high to low according to the priorities of the plurality of first CA combinations, it can be ensured that the user equipment reports important CA combinations to the access network equipment as much as possible.
In the method for reporting a carrier aggregation combination provided in this embodiment, when the user equipment reports multiple CA capabilities, the identifiers of multiple first CA combinations related to the various CA capabilities are sorted according to the priorities of the multiple first CA combinations, so that it can be ensured that the user equipment reports important CA combinations to the access network equipment as far as possible by using a limited transmission capacity.
Optionally, the capability query request is specifically used for querying various CA capabilities of the user equipment; the step S202 described above may be implemented as follows:
sending a plurality of pieces of equipment capability information respectively corresponding to the various CA capabilities to the access network equipment according to the capability query request;
the device capability information includes identifiers of a plurality of first CA combinations related to corresponding CA capabilities, and the identifiers of the plurality of first CA combinations included in the device capability information are sorted according to priority.
In this embodiment, the capability query request is specifically used when querying various CA capabilities of the user equipment. It should be noted that, when the access network device queries multiple CA capabilities of the user device, the user device may send multiple CA capabilities to the access network device, and send device capability information corresponding to one CA capability each time.
For example, when the capability query request is specifically used for querying the CA capability of 4G-5G and the CA capability of 5G of the user equipment, the user equipment sends the CA capability to the access network equipment twice, and sends device capability information corresponding to one CA capability each time. For example, the user equipment sends the device capability information corresponding to the CA capability of 4G-5G to the access network device first, and then sends the device capability information corresponding to the CA capability of 5G.
In the method for reporting a carrier aggregation combination provided in this embodiment, the user equipment may send multiple CA capabilities to the access network equipment, and send the device capability information corresponding to one CA capability each time, and because the maximum sending capacity of the device capability information corresponding to the CA capability each time is 8 kbytes, the device capability information corresponding to each CA capability may be sent to the access network equipment as much as possible. Moreover, since the identifiers of the plurality of first CA combinations included in the capability information of each device are sorted according to the priority, it can be ensured that the user equipment reports the important CA combinations to the access network device as far as possible by using the limited transmission capacity.
Optionally, if the number of the first CA combinations of the same priority is multiple, the identifiers of the multiple first CA combinations of the same priority are sorted according to a query sequence, and the query sequence is consistent with the sorting of the identifiers of the frequency bands carried by the capability query request.
If the bands of 4G queried by the access network device are B1, B3, B7, and B8 in sequence, the bands of 5G queried by the access network device are N8, N8 in sequence, the first CA combination of the same priority includes B8-N8, B8-N8, B8-N8, and since the bands of 4G queried by the access network device are B8, and B8 in sequence, the identifiers of the first CA combination of the same priority are B8-N8, B8-N8-B8-N8, and B8-N8.
In this embodiment, when the number of the first CA combinations of the same priority is multiple, the identifiers of the multiple first CA combinations of the same priority are sorted according to the query sequence, so that the user equipment reports the important CA combinations to the access network equipment as much as possible by using the limited transmission capacity according to the query sequence of the frequency band queried by the access network equipment.
Optionally, as shown in fig. 3, fig. 3 is a schematic flowchart of a first CA combination obtaining method provided in the embodiment of the present application. The present embodiment relates to an alternative implementation of how to obtain the first CA combination. The present embodiment involves a step prior to step S202. On the basis of the above embodiment, the method further comprises the steps of:
s301, according to the identification of the frequency band, determining a plurality of second CA combinations, wherein the second CA combinations comprise carriers in the frequency band, and the second CA combinations are CA combinations commonly supported by an operator network and user equipment.
If the frequency band carried by the capability query request only includes a band of 5G, the determined plurality of second CA combinations may include CA combinations related to CA capabilities of 5G in CA combinations commonly supported by the operator network and the user equipment. If the frequency band carried by the capability query request includes a 4G band and a 5G band, the determined plurality of second CA combinations may include CA combinations related to CA capabilities of 4G-5G and CA combinations related to CA capabilities of 5G in CA combinations commonly supported by the operator network and the user equipment.
S302, according to the first sending capacity limit threshold, a first CA combination is obtained from the plurality of second CA combinations according to the priority order, wherein the data volume of the obtained identification of the first CA combination is less than or equal to the first sending capacity limit threshold.
In this embodiment, acquiring the identifier of the first CA combination from the plurality of second CA combinations in the order of priority means that the second CA combination with a higher priority is preferentially acquired, and the second CA combination with a higher priority is used as the first CA combination.
In the method for reporting carrier aggregation capability provided in this embodiment, the plurality of second CA combinations are determined according to the frequency band identifier, and the first CA combination is obtained from the plurality of second CA combinations according to the priority order, so that the obtained first CA combination is an important CA combination, and further, the important CA combination is reported to the access network device by effectively using the limited capacity, and the reported CA combination is a CA combination supported by the access network device.
Optionally, step S301 may be implemented as follows:
and respectively determining second CA combinations corresponding to the various CA capabilities according to the frequency band identifiers.
For example, if the capability query request is specifically used to query the CA capability of 4G-5G and the CA capability of 5G of the user equipment, a second CA combination corresponding to the CA capability of 4G-5G and a second CA combination corresponding to the CA capability of 5G are determined according to the identifier of the frequency band.
Correspondingly, the obtaining of the first CA combination from the plurality of second CA combinations in the order of priority in step S302 may be implemented as follows:
and for each CA capability, acquiring a first CA combination from a plurality of second CA combinations corresponding to the CA capability according to the priority order, wherein the data volume of the identifier of the acquired first CA combination is less than or equal to a first transmission capacity limit threshold corresponding to the CA capability.
In this embodiment, the priority order refers to that the first CA combination is obtained from the plurality of second CA combinations corresponding to the CA capabilities in an order from high priority to low priority of each of the plurality of second CA combinations corresponding to the CA capabilities.
The sum of the first transmission capacity limit thresholds corresponding to the CA capabilities is not greater than the maximum transmission capacity limit threshold of the user equipment. For example, the sum of the first transmission capacity limit threshold corresponding to the CA capability of 4G-5G and the first transmission capacity limit threshold corresponding to the CA capability of 5G cannot be greater than 8 kbytes.
In this embodiment, if the user equipment reports the CA capability of 4G to 5G and the CA capability of 5G to the access network equipment. For the CA capability of 4G-5G, if the CA capability of 4G-5G corresponds to 300 second CA combinations, the CA capability of 5G corresponds to 250 second CA combinations. Of the 300 second CA combinations, 50 second CA combinations with priority P0, 50 second CA combinations with priority P1, 100 second CA combinations with priority P2, and 100 second CA combinations with priority P3 are included. Among them, P0 has the highest priority, P1 has a lower priority than P0, P2 has a lower priority than P1, and P3 has a lower priority than P2.
Because of the limitation of the capacity of the CA combination reported by the user equipment to the access network equipment, the user equipment can only send 124 second CA combinations to the access network equipment at most, then according to the priority order of 300 second CA combinations, the first 124 second CA combinations with high priority are selected from high to low, the 124 second CA combinations include 50 second CA combinations with priority P0, 50 second CA combinations with priority P1 and 24 second CA combinations with priority P2, and the 124 second CA combinations are used as the first CA combinations corresponding to the CA capabilities of 4G-5G.
Similarly, for the CA capability of 5G, if the CA capability of 5G corresponds to 250 second CA combinations, the CA capability of 5G corresponds to the first CA combination from the 250 second CA combinations according to the method described above for obtaining the first CA combination corresponding to the CA capability of 4G-5G. For example, if the first sending capacity limitation threshold is 8 kbytes, and the identifiers of the 124 first CA combinations corresponding to the CA capabilities of 4G-5G occupy 4.3 kbytes, the remaining 3.7 kbytes may be used to report the identifiers of the first CA combinations corresponding to the CA capabilities of 5G. If the remaining 3.7 kbytes can be used for reporting the identifiers of 110 first CA combinations corresponding to the 5G CA capabilities, then 110 second CA combinations with high priority are selected from the 250 second CA combinations as the first CA combinations corresponding to the 5G CA capabilities.
In this embodiment, when the capability query request is specifically used to query multiple CA capabilities of the user equipment, for each CA capability, a first CA combination is obtained from multiple second CA combinations corresponding to the CA capability according to a priority order, and a data amount of an identifier of the first CA combination corresponding to each CA capability is less than or equal to a first transmission capacity limit threshold, so that an important CA combination is reported to the access network equipment by effectively using a limited capacity.
Optionally, the second CA combinations corresponding to the multiple CA capabilities are respectively determined according to the identifiers of the frequency bands, and the method may be implemented as follows:
and for each CA capability, inquiring a CA combination table corresponding to the CA capability preset in the user equipment according to the identification of the frequency band to obtain a plurality of second CA combinations corresponding to the CA capability, wherein the CA combination table stores the CA combinations commonly supported by the operator network and the user equipment.
In this embodiment, a CA combination table corresponding to the CA capability may be preset in the user equipment, and the user equipment may obtain a plurality of second CA combinations corresponding to the CA capability by querying the CA combination table. For example, the user equipment is preset with a CA combination table corresponding to the CA capability of 4G-5G and a CA combination table corresponding to the CA capability of 5G. Here, a CA combination table corresponding to CA capabilities of 4G to 5G is described as an example, and CA combinations included in the built-in CA combination table are shown in table 1 below, for example. It should be noted that the CA combinations in table 1 are merely exemplary, and the CA combination table in a specific application is not limited to the content or form shown in table 1.

TABLE 1
The user equipment may obtain a plurality of second CA combinations corresponding to CA capabilities by querying, for example, the combination table 1 described above. The user equipment may preferentially query the CA combination with a high priority as the plurality of second CA combinations corresponding to the CA capabilities according to the priorities of the CA combinations in the combination table 1.
Optionally, the CA capability includes an evolved universal terrestrial radio access new air interface dual connectivity EN-DC capability and a new air interface carrier aggregation NR-CA capability; or, the CA capability comprises a new air interface evolution universal terrestrial radio access dual connection NE-DC capability and a new air interface carrier aggregation NR-CA capability.
In a Non-independent Network (NSA), the user equipment can use a 4G base station and a 4G base station at the same time, the 4G base station is a primary base station, and the 5G base station is a secondary base station. The user equipment is in the 4G mode, and may report the EN-DC capability and a New Radio Carrier Aggregation (NR-CA) capability to a base station of the 4G.
Under an NR independent networking (SA), the ue may use a 5G base station and a 4G base station at the same time, where the 5G base station serves as a main base station, the 4G base station serves as an auxiliary base station, and the ue is in an NR SA mode, and may report an evolved universal terrestrial Radio access New air interface Dual connectivity (NR-DC) capability and a New Radio Carrier Aggregation (NR-CA) capability to the 5G base station.
EN-DC is the CA capability of 4G-5G, and NE-DC is the CA capability of 5G-4G.
Optionally, obtaining the first CA combination from the plurality of second CA combinations according to the priority order may be implemented as follows:
and if the number of the second CA combinations with the same priority is multiple, acquiring the first CA combination from the second CA combinations with the same priority according to the query sequence, wherein the query sequence is consistent with the sequence of the frequency band identifiers included in the capability query request.
For example, in the above example, 50 second CA combinations with priority P0, 50 second CA combinations with priority P1, and 24 second CA combinations with priority P2 are selected from the 300 second CA combinations corresponding to the CA capabilities of 4G-5G, and the 124 second CA combinations are taken as the CA combinations corresponding to the CA capabilities of 4G-5G.
Wherein, there are 100 second CA combinations with priority P2, and 24 second CA combinations are selected from the 100 second CA combinations according to the query sequence of the frequency band carried in the capability query request. For example, the 100 second CA combinations include CA combinations starting with B3 and CA combinations starting with B7. And CA combinations started by B3 include 25 CA combinations such as B3-B7-B8-N1-N3, B3-B8-N1-N3, etc., and CA combinations started by B7 include 75 CA combinations such as B7-B8-N3, B7-N3, B7-B8-N1-N3, etc., then the first CA combination is obtained from the second CA combinations of the same priority in query order, that is, since B3 is located before B7 in query order, in this embodiment, 24 CA combinations are preferentially selected from the 25 CA combinations started by B3, and 24 CA combinations are not selected from the 75 CA combinations started by B7.
In this embodiment, when there are a plurality of second CA combinations with the same priority, the first CA combination is obtained from the second CA combinations with the same priority according to the query sequence, so that the important CA combinations are reported to the access network device by effectively using the limited capacity.
Optionally, on the basis of the above embodiment, the method may further include the following steps:
and if the user equipment fails to access the network after the equipment capacity information is sent, sending the equipment capacity information of the user equipment next time based on a second sending capacity limit threshold, wherein the second sending capacity limit threshold is smaller than the first sending capacity limit threshold.
If the user equipment fails to access the network after transmitting the device capability information, the first transmission capacity restriction threshold may be decreased, for example, by half of the original transmission capacity restriction threshold. For example, if the first transmission capacity restriction threshold is 8 kbytes, the reduced first transmission capacity restriction threshold is 4 kbytes. In this embodiment, the second transmission capacity restriction threshold is equal to the reduced first transmission capacity restriction threshold.
The embodiment is suitable for a case that, in some individual environments, the network has a receiving and reporting capability that does not reach an upper limit of a third Generation Partnership Project (3 GPP) specification, where the upper limit of the 3GPP specification is, for example, 8 kbytes, which causes a failure of the ue to report the device capability information. In this case, the ue may lower the first transmission capacity limit threshold and transmit the device capability information of the ue based on the second transmission capacity limit threshold. That is, the capacity of the access network device that can correctly receive and process the CA capability reported by the user equipment also has the maximum upper limit. Once the limit is exceeded, various types of exceptions may occur. If the registration is rejected, the radio resource connection is released by the network, etc., the random access is affected, and thus various subsequent services, such as Short Message Service (SMS) reception, telephone, data, etc., cannot be smoothly performed. Through comparison and test, it can be determined that the reason is that the reception capacity of the access network device limits the failure of the user equipment to report the device capability information, so that the user equipment can reduce the first transmission capacity limit threshold value under the condition that the failure of the user equipment to report the device capability information is caused, and the device capability information of the user equipment is transmitted based on the second transmission capacity limit threshold value so as to be compatible with the network.
For example, the access network device is not completely upgraded, so that the upper limit of the specification of the 3GPP supported by the access network device is smaller than the maximum reporting capacity threshold of the user equipment, and then the capacity supported by the access network device does not reach 8 kbytes, for example, after some access network devices in europe, germany, and polish have reported device capability information by the user equipment, the access network device is abnormal because the access network device does not reach 8 kbytes, and the user equipment cannot receive a called page of the network any more.
Although the application is based on the official network deployment information of the operator network, the user equipment makes a corresponding reporting combination, namely the user equipment reports the CA combination supported by the operator network to which the identity identification card belongs and the user equipment. However, since the receiving and reporting capability of the access network device is smaller than the maximum reporting capacity threshold supported by the mobile phone, the user equipment cannot receive the called page of the network any more after reporting the device capability information. In order to avoid various abnormalities caused by the limitation of the receiving and reporting capability of the access network device, such as abnormal call, abnormal short message, unstable data network, and the like, in this embodiment, after the device capability information is sent, if the user equipment fails to access the network, the device capability information of the user equipment is sent next time based on the second sending capacity limit threshold, so that the user equipment is compatible and adaptive to the network in time.
It should be noted that the failure of reporting the device capability information by the user equipment includes: after the user equipment sends the device capability information to the access network equipment, although the access network equipment receives the device capability information of the user equipment, the access network equipment cannot normally process the device capability information of the user equipment, which means that the user equipment fails to report the device capability information.
Under the condition that the access network equipment cannot normally process the equipment capability information of the user equipment, if the access network equipment does not normally respond to the mobile phone signaling and the registration process any more and actively gives negative feedback to the user equipment, the occurrence of the abnormality of network negative feedback can be determined. The occurrence of the negative feedback includes negative feedback transmitted to the user equipment in a case where the access network equipment cannot normally process the equipment capability information of the user equipment.
The first transmission capacity limit threshold corresponding to each CA capability may be determined by measuring a network environment. Under certain individual environments, when the EN-DC capability reported by the user equipment or the NR CA capability of the access network equipment exceeds 4 kbytes, various exceptions can occur to the access network equipment. Therefore, a first transmission capacity limit threshold corresponding to the EN-DC capability and a first transmission capacity limit threshold corresponding to the NR CA capability can be determined by actually measuring the access network device by a tester.
For example, when testing a certain access network device, the data size of the device capability information corresponding to the NR CA capability reported by the user equipment to the access network device is generally small, for example, about 2 kbytes, the first transmission capacity limit threshold corresponding to the NR CA capability may be set to 2 kbytes, and the threshold is fixed, the transmission capacity limit threshold corresponding to the EN-DC capability is changed to test the bottleneck value corresponding to the EN-DC capability, and the bottleneck value is used as the first transmission capacity limit threshold corresponding to the EN-DC capability. For example, if the transmission capacity limit threshold corresponding to the EN-DC capability is 6 kbytes, 5.5 kbytes, or 5 kbytes, the ue fails to report the device capability information, but when the transmission capacity limit threshold is adjusted to 4 kbytes, the ue succeeds in reporting the device capability information to the access network device, the bottleneck value corresponding to the EN-DC capability is 4 kbytes, and the 4 kbytes may be used as the first transmission capacity limit threshold corresponding to the EN-DC capability.
Optionally, the next sending of the device capability information of the user equipment based on the second sending capacity limit threshold may be implemented as follows:
and if the second transmission capacity limit threshold is larger than or equal to the minimum transmission capacity limit threshold, transmitting the equipment capability information of the user equipment next time based on the second transmission capacity limit threshold.
In this embodiment of the present application, if the user equipment receives the capability query request sent by the access network device, the data size of the identifier of the first CA combination included in the device capability information reported to the access network device for the first time is equal to the first transmission capacity limit threshold, and the user equipment fails to access the network after sending the device capability information, the user equipment may first determine whether the second transmission capacity limit threshold is greater than or equal to the minimum transmission capacity limit threshold, and if the second transmission capacity limit threshold is greater than or equal to the minimum transmission capacity limit threshold, send the device capability information of the user equipment next time based on the second transmission capacity limit threshold.
In the method for reporting a carrier aggregation combination provided in this embodiment, when the second sending capacity limit threshold is greater than or equal to the minimum sending capacity limit threshold, the device capability information of the user equipment is sent next time based on the second sending capacity limit threshold, so that it is avoided that the device capability information is continuously reported to the network by reducing the sending capacity limit threshold after the user equipment fails to access the network.
When the second transmission capacity restriction threshold is smaller than the minimum transmission capacity restriction threshold, the next transmission of the device capability information of the user equipment based on the second transmission capacity restriction threshold is prohibited.
In this embodiment, the data amount of the identifier of the reported first CA combination is reduced by reducing the transmission capacity limit threshold, and if the reduced transmission capacity limit threshold is smaller than the minimum transmission capacity limit threshold, that is, the second transmission capacity limit threshold is smaller than the minimum transmission capacity limit threshold, the user equipment does not need to transmit the device capability information of the user equipment based on the second transmission capacity limit threshold next time. In the case where the second transmission capacity limit threshold is less than the minimum transmission capacity limit threshold, the user equipment may determine that an abnormality has occurred in the network.
Optionally, the network access failure of the user equipment includes a network registration failure of the user equipment, and if the network access failure of the user equipment occurs after the equipment capability information is sent, the equipment capability information of the user equipment is sent next time based on the second sending capacity limit threshold, which may be implemented in the following manner:
if the user equipment receives a message for indicating network registration failure, the equipment capability information of the user equipment is sent next time based on a second sending capacity limit threshold;
wherein the message for indicating the network registration failure comprises any one of an attach reject message, a tracking area update reject message, a detach message, a radio resource control connection release message, a registration reject message, and a deregistration request message.
And when the user equipment is in the LTE mode, if the user equipment receives negative feedback, namely the user equipment receives a message for indicating network registration failure, the equipment capability information of the user equipment is transmitted next time based on the second transmission capacity limit threshold.
The user equipment is in an LTE mode, and the message for indicating the network registration failure comprises any one of the following messages:
a: the user equipment receives Attach reject message sent by the access network equipment;
b: the user equipment receives a TAU reject message sent by the access network equipment;
c: the user equipment receives a Detach message sent by the access network equipment;
d: the user equipment receives an RRC Connection Release message sent by the access network equipment.
The user equipment is in the NR SA mode, and the message for indicating the network registration failure comprises any one of the following messages:
a: the user equipment receives a REGISTRATION REJECT message sent by the access network equipment;
b: the user equipment receives an RRC Connection Release message sent by the access network equipment;
c: the user equipment receives a registration REQUEST message sent by the access network equipment.
It should be noted that, in the case that the number of times of continuously receiving the message indicating the network registration failure exceeds a certain number of times, the ue may transmit the device capability information of the ue next time based on the second transmission capacity limit threshold. For example, the certain number of times is, for example, 2 times.
Optionally, the next sending of the device capability information of the user equipment based on the second sending capacity limit threshold may be implemented as follows:
for each CA capability, device capability information of the user equipment is transmitted next time based on a second transmission capacity limit threshold corresponding to the CA capability.
In this embodiment, when the user equipment reports the device capability information corresponding to multiple CA capabilities to the access network device, for each CA capability, the device capability information of the user equipment may be sent next time based on the second sending capacity limit threshold corresponding to the CA capability. For example, the device capability information of the user equipment is transmitted next time based on the second transmission capacity limit threshold corresponding to the CA capability of 4G-5G, and the device capability information of the user equipment is transmitted next time based on the second transmission capacity limit threshold corresponding to the CA capability of 5G.
Optionally, the network access failure of the user equipment includes a random access failure of the user equipment, and the method further includes:
after the device capability information is sent, if the random access of the user equipment fails, a network registration process is restarted, a next capability query request sent by the access network equipment after the network registration process is restarted is received, and device capability information corresponding to the next capability query request is sent to the access network equipment based on a second sending capacity limit threshold.
In this embodiment, after the device capability information is sent, if the user equipment fails to access randomly, the user equipment may enter and exit the flight mode actively and intelligently, and then initiate a network registration process again to retry registration.
After the network registration process is reinitiated, the user equipment receives a next capability query request sent by the access network equipment after the network registration process is reinitiated, and sends equipment capability information corresponding to the next capability query request to the access network equipment based on the second sending capacity limit threshold.
The second transmission capacity limit threshold for each CA capability may be one-half of the corresponding first transmission capacity limit threshold. For example, if the first transmission capacity limit threshold corresponding to the EN-DC capability is 4K and the first transmission capacity limit threshold corresponding to the NR-CA capability is 4 kbytes, at least one of the first transmission capacity limit threshold corresponding to the EN-DC capability and the first transmission capacity limit threshold corresponding to the NR-CA capability may be reduced to 2K.
It should be noted that the first transmission capacity limit threshold may also be a default system value, and when the first transmission capacity limit threshold is the default system value, the default system value may be reduced to one-half of the default system value.
In this embodiment, after the device capability information is sent, if the random access of the user equipment fails, the network registration procedure is reinitiated, a next capability query request sent by the access network device after the network registration procedure is reinitiated is received, and the device capability information corresponding to the next capability query request is sent to the access network device based on the second sending capacity limit threshold, so as to be compatible with the network.
Optionally, if the random access of the user equipment fails, the network registration procedure is reinitiated, including:
and if the times of the user equipment random access continuous failures exceed the time threshold, re-initiating the network registration process.
For example, the number threshold is 5, and if the number of consecutive failures of the ue random access exceeds 5, the network registration procedure is re-initiated.
Optionally, if the random access of the user equipment fails, the network registration procedure is reinitiated, which may be implemented in the following manner:
and if the intensity of the signal of the access network equipment received by the user equipment is greater than the signal intensity threshold value and the signal-to-noise ratio of the signal is less than the signal-to-noise ratio threshold value, and the number of times of the random access continuous failure of the user equipment exceeds the number threshold value, re-initiating the network registration process.
If the strength of the signal of the access network equipment received by the user equipment is greater than the signal strength threshold and the signal-to-noise ratio of the signal is less than the signal-to-noise ratio threshold, the signal of the access network equipment received by the user equipment is a strong signal and is free of interference, under the network condition, if the number of times of continuous failure of random access of the user equipment exceeds the number threshold, the user equipment can determine that the network is abnormal, and then the user equipment can pass through an active access flight mode and retry network registration.
