Defects of willow weaving refer to defects of trees which are subjected to natural growth, environmental influence, insect damage and processing technology in the growth process and the felling storage process, and generate a plurality of sugar defects. The common defects include knots, discoloration, decay, insect damage, cracks, shape defects, structural defects, and the like. These defects can affect the technical properties of the wickerwork, thereby reducing the grade of the wickerwork and even making the wickerwork completely unusable. All the above defects must be carefully treated to avoid losses, such as cracks: during the growth period or after felling down, the volume of the wicker is affected and acted by temperature, humidity or external force to cause uneven change, thereby generating cracks or fissures, damaging the integrity of the wicker, reducing the technical properties of the wicker and even causing the wicker to become waste. In a word, the cracks of the wicker not only reduce the mechanical properties, particularly the compressive strength, of the wicker, but also are channels for various fungi to enter the wicker to cause decay. When the wooden handicraft is made, the technological measures are increased and the outturn rate is reduced. During the storage and transportation of the wicker, proper measures must be taken to prevent the wicker from cracking and prevent the existing cracks from continuing to expand. Including various defects of the crack wicker, have different degrees of influence on the use of the wicker. The method is impossible and uneconomical to completely eliminate various defects of the wickerwork, and the defects are correctly selected according to the use requirements of the wickerwork, so that the influence caused by the various defects is reduced according to local conditions; the technical personnel in the field need to develop a surface modification process method for filling pits and filling seams of wicker handicraft articles to meet the existing performance requirements and market demands.
