Description
技术领域
本发明属于复合材料和结构优化设计领域,具体涉及一种具有波浪结构的金属玻璃复合材料。
背景技术
复合材料,是由两种或两种以上不同性质的材料,通过物理化学方法,在宏观或微观上组成具有新性能的材料。一般来说,复合材料是由较强的、脆性的、高模量的增强材料和较弱的、韧性的、低模量的基体组成的。复合材料具有轻质、比强度高、比刚度大、可设计性好等优点,可以满足不同领域的性能要求。近年来,复合材料在航空航天、汽车船舶、桥梁建筑、化工医疗等诸多领域都得到广泛的应用。但目前复合材料同样面临着诸多瓶颈,而整体强度低是其中的核心问题,所以需要寻找具有更高强度的材料作为增强相。
金属玻璃,又称为非晶合金,是通过对熔融状态时的金属熔体快速冷却获得的非晶态固体。金属玻璃具有中短程有序、长程无序的微观结构,因此并不会出现位错和晶界等缺陷。与传统晶体金属材料相比,金属玻璃材料表现出许多独特的物理、化学和力学性能,比如,强度可以达到6GPa、断裂韧性高达200MPa·m1/2、弹性极限高达2%、耐腐蚀、耐磨损等。此外,金属玻璃具有良好的热塑成型能力,易加工、易成型。尽管金属玻璃具有许多优异的性能,但是,玻璃形成能力差严重限制了金属玻璃的广泛应用,金属玻璃的临界尺寸有限,很难制成大尺寸的结构件。此外,由于没有滑移面、位错等塑性变形机制,金属玻璃的断裂模式表现为剪切带迅速扩展的脆性断裂,室温塑性变形能力极差,通常拉伸塑性应变近乎为0。
由于金属玻璃的塑性变形能力和剪切带的形成传播息息相关,因此可以通过控制剪切带来提高金属玻璃的室温塑性。一般来说,局部的应力状态决定了剪切带的形成与传播的进程。从自然界中常见的波浪结构得到启发,波浪结构可以有效调控局部应力状态,进而对剪切带进行有效控制。具有波浪结构的金属玻璃在保留了高强度的同时,塑性变形能力得到大幅度增强。但由于金属玻璃的形成能力有限,无法制备得到很大尺寸的波浪结构,应用范围有较大的局限性。而且需要保护好经过精心设计的结构表面,保证波浪结构中的应力状态可以有效抑制剪切带的扩展。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于克服上述不足,提供一种具有波浪结构的金属玻璃复合材料,结合复合材料、金属玻璃、波浪结构的长处,金属玻璃制成的波浪结构作为增强相,极大提高整体强度和变形能力,高分子材料、多孔材料或常见金属作为基体,进一步增强整体变形能力,最终制成大尺寸、高强、高韧的金属玻璃复合材料,有望应用于减震、抗疲劳、吸能、储能等特定领域,比如作为船舶、汽车、桥梁的关键结构件。
为了达到上述目的,本发明包括增强相和基底,增强相为两种波浪结构,分别为第一种金属玻璃波浪结构和第二种金属玻璃波浪结构,第一种金属玻璃波浪结构和第二种金属玻璃波浪结构均由若干大小相同、形状一致且周期性排列的单元组成,基底填充在第一种金属玻璃波浪结构和第二种金属玻璃波浪结构之间及周围。
每个单元均包括两条韧带,两条韧带为大小相同朝向相反的圆弧结构。
两条韧带的上下两侧的表面形状相同,均为半径相同、圆心角相同的圆弧。
第一种金属玻璃波浪结构和第二种金属玻璃波浪结构为金属玻璃,基底采用高分子聚合物、多孔材料或常见金属。
第一种金属玻璃波浪结构和第二种金属玻璃波浪结构的特征尺度为纳米量级到厘米量级。
在第一种金属玻璃波浪结构中,单元的厚度为t1,单元的半径和圆心角分别为R1和θ1;
当t1/R1小于某个临界值,第一种金属玻璃波浪结构发生塑性断裂,变形能力大幅度变强,通过调整t1和R1能够对波浪结构的变形能力进一步调控。
第二种金属玻璃波浪结构中,单元的厚度为t2,单元的半径和圆心角分别为R2和θ2;
当t2/R2大于某个临界值,第二种金属玻璃波浪结构为剪切带断裂,强度很高,能够承受较大载荷;
单元的圆心角θ2用于调控强度,圆心角θ2越小,强度越高,变形能力越弱。
与现有技术相比,本发明将复合材料、金属玻璃、波浪结构的优点结合,能够适用于任何金属玻璃体系,保留金属玻璃高强度,并利用波浪结构控制剪切带,增塑增韧,最终制备成大尺寸、高强、高韧的金属玻璃复合材料。本发明具有高强高韧、吸能储能、减震抗疲劳、性能可控等优异特性,能够应用于许多关键领域。比如可以应用于大跨度桥梁中的支撑结构件,可以承受更大的载荷,进一步提升跨距,使桥梁更加经济美观;而且发生地震时,本发明具有优越的吸能特性,能最大限度吸收地震波的能量,减小桥梁在地震中受到的损伤。利用本发明优异的储能特性,还可以用于制备一些精密仪器和钟表的势能存储结构,可以存储更多的势能,而且本发明具有强大的抗疲劳能力,延长了仪器的使用寿命,节约了仪器的维护成本。
进一步的,本发明的波浪结构具有易调控的结构特征参数(半径R1和R2、圆心角θ1和θ2、厚度t1和t2),可以有效地控制结构整体的力学性能以及变形与断裂机制,以适应不同的工作场所,使得其可以满足特殊领域的独特要求,比如减震抗疲劳、吸能储能等需求。
进一步的,本发明的结构尺度从纳米量级到厘米量级均可。波浪结构形状简单,容易调控,可以精确调控应力状态,而且得益于金属玻璃良好的热塑成型能力,制备简单,能够达到纳米级别的表面精度,可以准确制备出所需要的形貌,再结合复合材料本身的优点,本发明可以实现高强高韧、吸能储能、减震抗疲劳等优异性能。

下面结合附图对本发明做进一步说明。

第一种金属玻璃波浪结构1和第二种金属玻璃波浪结构2用于作为增强相,负责承受大载荷和大变形,提高整体强度和变形能力,决定了复合材料的力学性能;
高分子材料、多孔材料或常见金属制成的基底3,负责保护波浪结构,并且进一步增强复合材料的整体变形能力。
如图1所示,本发明将复合材料的特性、金属玻璃优异的力学性能以及波浪结构的特点相结合,两种金属玻璃制成的波浪结构作为增强相,承受大载荷和大变形,提高整体强度和塑性;高分子材料、多孔材料或常见金属制成的基体,保护波浪结构,同时进一步提升整体变形能力,最终得到大尺寸、高强高韧、综合性能优异的复合材料。如图2和图3所示,波浪结构具有一系列可调控的几何参数,可以根据需求对波浪结构进行优化设计,得到符合要求的复合材料。通过调整波浪结构的圆心角、半径、厚度改变结构形状,进而调控复合材料的强度、杨氏模量、变形能力、韧性、断裂机制等关键力学特性,满足吸能储能、减震抗疲劳等多方面的需求。其中圆心角调控的是强度,圆心角越小,强度越高,但变形能力会变弱;厚度影响变形能力,厚度越小,变形能力越好,但强度越低;第一种金属玻璃波浪结构1的t1/R1小于相应的临界值,由于引入了由压到拉的应力梯度,断裂模式为塑性断裂,变形能力大幅度增强。剪切带的萌芽首先在应力集中区域萌生,由于存在由压到拉的应力梯度,剪切带萌芽成熟后无法继续向外扩展,会导致剪切带相互交叉现象的出现,进一步阻碍抑制剪切带的扩展,使得波浪结构1发生韧性断裂。第二种金属玻璃波浪结构2的t2/R2大于相应的临界值,仍然为剪切带断裂,强度高,可以承受大载荷。这两种金属玻璃制成的波浪结构作为增强相,承受大变形、大载荷,高分子材料、多孔材料或常见金属制成基体,保护波浪结构,进一步增强整体变形能力,这就使得复合材料的整体力学性能得到大幅度增强。
由于金属玻璃的高弹性、高强度,因此本发明的变形极限和承受载荷的极限非常可观。而且得益于金属玻璃超高的弹性极限,在卸载后,只要变形程度没有达到弹性极限,本发明可以迅速恢复到起始形态,使其能够承受多次加载,方便重复多次使用。再加上金属玻璃表面原子排列致密,能够实现纳米级别的表面精度,完全可以精确加工出不同形状的波浪结构部件,构造出满足不同需求的复合材料。
由于金属玻璃具有良好的热塑性,可以采用热塑成型技术制备金属玻璃波浪结构,这种技术制备的结构件具有很高的尺寸精度,无需二次加工。此外,随着金属玻璃增材制造技术的日渐成熟,也可以采用3D打印技术进行设计制备,进一步拓展本发明提供的应用范围。首先,通过计算机控制模型设计以及程序编写;接着,在位于升降平台的基板上预铺一定厚度的金属玻璃粉末;然后,激光束按照预先编制好的程序进行选择性扫描;在完成上述扫描之后,将升降平台下降一段距离,保证激光束的聚焦,重新开始扫描;重复上述过程,层层累加制备成所需几何形状的金属玻璃波浪结构。得到金属玻璃波浪结构之后,同样可以通过3D打印技术或者成熟的传统工艺,将高分子材料、多孔材料或常见金属制成基底,最后得到金属玻璃复合材料。
本发明使用高强度、高耐磨、高耐腐蚀的金属玻璃作为制备材料,因此使用了本发明的结构件,其使用性能和寿命都可以得到大幅度提升。

1.一种具有波浪结构的金属玻璃复合材料,其特征在于,包括增强相和基底(3),增强相为两种波浪结构,分别为第一种金属玻璃波浪结构(1)和第二种金属玻璃波浪结构(2),第一种金属玻璃波浪结构(1)和第二种金属玻璃波浪结构(2)均由若干大小相同、形状一致且周期性排列的单元组成,基底(3)填充在第一种金属玻璃波浪结构(1)和第二种金属玻璃波浪结构(2)之间及周围。
2.根据权利要求1所述的一种具有波浪结构的金属玻璃复合材料,其特征在于,每个单元均包括两条韧带,两条韧带为大小相同朝向相反的圆弧结构。
3.根据权利要求2所述的一种具有波浪结构的金属玻璃复合材料,其特征在于,两条韧带的上下两侧的表面形状相同,均为半径相同、圆心角相同的圆弧。
