FIG. 2 shows a schematic flow chart of a method of presenting advertising content of an embodiment of the present application. The advertisement content may be presented in a picture form or a video form, which is not limited in the present application.
It is understood that the main body of execution of the method may be the system shown in fig. 1, and may specifically be one or more devices in the system.
During a user device call, it is determined that the user device enters a geofence (which may be referred to as a first geofence below).
Specifically, the execution subject of step 201 may be a media server in the system. That is, the media server can determine whether the user device entered the first geofence during a session of the user device.
It is understood that a geo-fence is understood to be a geographic area, such as a business district, an office area, or a living area, and the like, and is not limited in this application. The advertiser can pre-divide a plurality of geo-fences according to an advertisement delivery plan, a certain geo-fence is taken as an example in the embodiment of the application for explanation, and the media server can simultaneously judge whether the user equipment enters the plurality of geo-fences, which is not limited by the application.
It will also be appreciated that the user equipment may enter the call process by sending an origination message (otherwise known as a call origination request). That is, the user equipment in step 201 may be in the process that the called user equipment has answered after the calling user equipment sends the call initiation message during the call. The user equipment in the embodiments described below may be understood as calling user equipment.
The call initiation message may be referred to as a call signaling or a session initiation protocol invite (SIP invite) message.
In one embodiment, step 201 may specifically be that the media server receives a first location notification message from the HSS, where the first location notification message indicates that the user equipment enters the first geo-fence, and the first location notification message includes information of the first geo-fence and an identifier of the user equipment.
Specifically, the HSS may detect location information of the ue in real time, and determine whether the ue enters the first geo-fence according to the location information of the ue. If the HSS determines that the user equipment enters the first geo-fence, a first location notification message is sent to a media server, wherein the first location notification message comprises the identification of the user equipment and the information of the first geo-fence. Thus, the media server can know the geofence indicated by the information that the user equipment corresponding to the identification of the user equipment enters the first geofence after receiving the location notification message. That is to say, in this embodiment, the HSS may actively determine whether the user equipment enters the first geo-fence, and notify the media server when determining that the user equipment enters the first geo-fence, so as to save power consumption overhead of the media server.
It is understood that the HSS can obtain the information of the at least one geo-fence in advance (for example, the HSS obtains from the media server, the media server obtains from the advertisement management server, or directly obtains from the advertisement management server), so that the HSS can determine whether the user equipment enters the first geo-fence according to the location information of the user equipment and the information of the at least one geo-fence.
Optionally, the information of the geofence may be an identification of the geofence, or location description information.
Specifically, the HSS obtains identifiers of the geo-fences in advance, and stores the identifiers of one or more geo-fences and the first mapping relationship of the geo-fences in the HSS, so that the HSS can determine the coverage area of a first geo-fence according to the identifier of a certain geo-fence (for example, the identifier of the first geo-fence) and the first mapping relationship, and further can determine whether the user equipment is in the coverage area of the first geo-fence according to the location information of the user equipment.
Or the HSS obtains location description information of one or more geo-fences in advance, and the HSS stores a second mapping relationship between the location description information of the one or more geo-fences and the geo-fences, so that the HSS can determine a coverage area of a first geo-fence according to the location description information (e.g., location description information of the first geo-fence) of a certain geo-fence and the second mapping relationship, and further determine whether the ue is in the coverage area of the first geo-fence according to the location information of the ue.
Optionally, the location description information may specifically be a center point geographic coordinate and an area radius, a geographic coordinate of each boundary point, or one or more cell identifiers.
For example, as shown in FIG. 3, a center point geographic coordinate (x, y), a coverage area of radius r, may be a geofence; or as shown in FIG. 4, the area enclosed by the geographic coordinates of n boundary points ((x1, y1), (x2, y2), (x3, y3), …), (where n ≧ 1) is taken as a geofence; or, as shown in FIG. 5, the area surrounded by the cells corresponding to the n cell identities (ID1, ID2, …, IDn) (where n ≧ 1) is used as a geofence.
It is to be understood that the present application is not limited to the shape of the area enclosed by the geofence, and can be circular, square, and other regular, irregular shapes, and the like.
Optionally, the media server may send a first subscription request to the HSS requesting whether the user equipment enters the first geo-fence.
In particular, the media server may send a first subscription request to the HSS under a demand first location notification message. The HSS actively detects the location information of the ue in real time only when receiving the first subscription request, and sends a first location notification message when determining that the ue enters the first geo-fence. That is, the HSS sends the first location notification message only when the media server requires the first location notification message, which avoids unnecessary waste and saves the power consumption overhead of the system.
It is to be appreciated that the first subscription request can include an identification of the user device and an identification of the first geo-fence. The HSS may detect location information of the ue corresponding to the identifier of the ue and determine whether the ue enters a geofence corresponding to the identifier of the first geofence, when receiving the first subscription request.
Optionally, the first subscription request may further include period information, where the period information is used to indicate a period for which the HSS sends the location notification message.
Specifically, the period information may specifically indicate a period in which the HSS notifies the ue whether the ue is in the first geo-fence, that is, the HSS notifies the user equipment whether the ue is in the first geo-fence at an indirect time of the period, so that it is helpful to determine more accurate advertisement content according to the information of the first geo-fence, and the value of the pushed advertisement is further improved.
It is also understood that the first subscription request may also include an identification of the user device.
Optionally, before sending the first subscription request, the media server may further determine whether to send the first subscription request to the HSS according to whether the user corresponding to the user equipment is a potential user in the first geo-fence.
Specifically, the user corresponding to the user equipment may be a user using the user equipment. The potential user may be a user who is pre-defined to want to push an advertisement within the first geo-fence. For example, if the gender feature required by the potential user in the first geo-fence is male and the user corresponding to the user device is female, the user corresponding to the user device may be understood as not being a potential user in the first geo-fence. Therefore, the embodiment can judge whether the advertisement is necessary to be pushed to the user in advance, thereby further saving the power consumption overhead of the system.
It is to be appreciated that the media server can also determine whether to send the first subscription request based on a distance of the user device from the first geo-fence before the user device enters the first geo-fence. For example, the first subscription request is sent when the distance is lower than a preset threshold.
In another embodiment, the media server may receive a second location notification message from the HSS, the second location notification message including location information of the user equipment. Thus, step 201 can be specifically for the media server to determine whether the user equipment enters the first geo-fence according to the location information of the user equipment.
Specifically, the HSS sends location information of the user equipment to the media server, and the media server determines whether the user equipment enters the first geo-fence according to the location information of the user equipment. Thus, the embodiment can save the power consumption overhead of the HSS.
It is understood that the media server may obtain the information of the at least one geo-fence in advance (for example, the media server obtains from the advertisement management server), so that the media server may determine whether the user device enters the geo-fence according to the location information of the user device and the information of the at least one geo-fence. Specifically, the manner in which the media server determines whether the user equipment enters the geofence may be the same as the manner in which the HSS determines whether the user equipment enters the geofence, and for avoiding repetition, details are not described here.
It will also be appreciated that the second location notification message may also include an identification of the user equipment.
Optionally, the media server may send a second subscription request to the HSS, the second subscription request requesting location information of the user equipment. That is, the second subscription request is sent to the HSS only when the media server requires the location information of the user equipment, so that the second subscription request is avoided being sent under the condition of not being needed, and the power consumption overhead of the system is saved.
It is to be understood that the second subscription request may specifically include an identification of the user equipment. Thus, after the HSS identifies the second subscription request, the location information of the user equipment corresponding to the identifier of the user equipment may be detected and fed back to the media server.
Optionally, the second subscription request includes period information indicating a period for the HSS to send the second location notification message.
Specifically, the period information is used for indicating a period in which the HSS sends the location information of the user equipment, so that the media server is facilitated to determine whether the user equipment is in the first geo-fence, and thus more accurate advertisement content can be determined, and the value of the pushed advertisement is further improved.
Optionally, before sending the second subscription request, the media server may further determine whether to send the second subscription request to the HSS according to whether the user corresponding to the user equipment is a potential user in the first geo-fence. Therefore, the embodiment can judge whether the advertisement is necessary to be pushed to the user in advance, thereby further saving the power consumption expense of the system.
In another embodiment, step 201 may specifically be that the media server receives a third location notification message from the user equipment, where the third location notification message includes information of the first geo-fence, so that the media server may determine that the user equipment enters the first geo-fence according to the third location notification message.
Specifically, the user equipment may detect its own location information in real time, and determine whether to enter a certain geo-fence (e.g., a first geo-fence) according to its own location information. The user device, upon determining to enter the first geofence, sends a third location notification message to the media server, which may include information of the first geofence and an identification of the user device. That is to say, in the embodiment of the present application, the user equipment itself performs the determination whether to enter the first geo-fence, so that power consumption overhead of the HSS or the media server is saved.
It is to be appreciated that the user device can pre-fetch information for the at least one geo-fence from the advertising management server.
Alternatively, the user device may be a monitoring program that initiates the first geofence upon detecting a caller origination message or a callee off-hook message.
In particular, the monitoring program of the first geo-fence can be for controlling whether to perform a detection of entering the first geo-fence. For example, if a monitoring program for a first geo-fence is initiated, the user device may determine whether to enter detection of the first geo-fence; if the monitoring program of the first geo-fence is turned off, the user equipment may not need to determine whether to enter the detection of the first geo-fence.
Optionally, before step 201, the media server may obtain a call signaling sent by the user equipment, where the call signaling contains an identifier of the calling user equipment and/or an identifier of the called user equipment.
Specifically, the user equipment sends a call signaling, and the media server may receive the call signaling directly or may reach the media server via forwarding of a serving-call session control function (S-CSCF) device.
The call signaling may be understood as an origination message. The call signaling includes an identification of the calling user equipment and/or an identification of the called user equipment. After receiving the call signaling, the media server may also determine a call type according to the call signaling, and send the call type to the advertisement delivery server. The call type may be classified into a call. The call types can be divided according to the types of calling user equipment or called user equipment, and the dividing mode of the call types is not limited in the application.
For example, call-limited calling user equipment is classified into one class; calling subscriber devices with unlimited calling are divided into another category. As another example, service phones are a class; ordinary calls are another category.
It will be appreciated that the call type may be 1, video or VR, or normal talk. For example, if the calling user device is a call-limited user device, the corresponding call type may be an alerting phone.
Optionally, the call signaling may further include an association relationship between the identifier of the calling user equipment and the identifier of the called user equipment.
Specifically, the media server may determine the call type according to the association relationship between the identifier of the calling user equipment and the identifier of the called user equipment.
Optionally, the call signaling may further include a call duration. That is, the media server may determine the call type according to at least two of the identifier of the calling user equipment, the identifier of the called user equipment, the call duration, and the association relationship.
In another embodiment, step 201 may specifically be that the advertisement management server may receive a fourth location notification message from the calling user equipment, where the fourth location notification message is used to indicate location information of the user equipment. The advertising management server can then determine whether to enter the first geo-fence based on the stored information for the at least one geo-fence and the location information for the user device.
Optionally, the fourth location notification message comprises an identification of the calling user equipment.
Optionally, the advertising management server sends the information of the first geo-fence and the identification of the calling user device to an advertising server.
Optionally, after step 201, the media server may send the information of the first geo-fence and the identification of the user device to the advertising server.
Based on the geofence information (hereinafter referred to as first geofence information), advertising content is determined 202.
Specifically, the execution subject of step 202 may be an advertisement delivery server, so that the advertisement delivery server may determine the advertisement content according to the information of the first geo-fence. For example, the advertising server may select a targeted advertising content from a plurality of advertising contents based on the information of the geofence.
Optionally, step 202 may specifically be that the advertisement delivery server determines the advertisement content according to the identification of the user device and the information of the first geo-fence.
In particular, the information of the first geo-fence corresponds to an advertising inventory that includes a plurality of advertising content. The advertisement delivery server can determine the characteristic information of the user corresponding to the user equipment according to the identification of the user equipment. The advertising server thus determines targeted advertising content (i.e., the advertising content in step 202) from the plurality of advertising content based on the characteristic information of the user device.
It will be appreciated that each advertising content corresponds to an identifier.
It is also understood that the advertisement delivery server may store a correspondence of the identification of the advertisement content and the advertisement content. That is, the advertising server may select an advertising content for the user device and send an identification of the advertising content to the media server.
Optionally, the characteristic information of the user may be the gender of the user, and/or the age of the user.
Specifically, the characteristic information of the user may be that the user is male or female. Or the characteristic information of the user is the age group of the user, for example, different advertisement contents corresponding to different age groups.
Optionally, step 202 may specifically be that the advertisement delivery server determines the advertisement content according to the information of the first geo-fence and the call type.
It is to be appreciated that the advertising server can also determine the advertising content based on at least two of the characteristic information of the user device, the information of the first geo-fence, and the call type.
203, triggering the user equipment to present the advertisement content.
Specifically, after determining the advertisement content, the advertisement delivery server sends an identifier of the advertisement content to the media server, and the media server triggers the user equipment to present the advertisement content. For example, the media server may instruct a Media Resource Function (MRF) device to send data in the advertising content to the user device so that the user device may present the advertising content. As another example, the media server may also send advertising content directly to the user device so that the user device may also present the advertising content.
The description of this step may be referred to for triggering the user equipment to present the advertisement content in the embodiment of the present application, and will not be repeated.
It is understood that the media server may include a correspondence between the identification of the advertisement content and the advertisement content, such that the media server may determine the advertisement content corresponding to the identification of any one of the advertisement contents and transmit the advertisement content to the user device.
For example, the identification of the advertisement content in the embodiment of the present application may be a Uniform Resource Location (URL) of the advertisement content.
Therefore, whether the user equipment enters the geo-fence or not is determined during the conversation of the user equipment, and the advertisement content is determined according to the information of the geo-fence, so that the user equipment is triggered to present the advertisement content. That is to say, in the embodiment of the application, whether the user equipment enters the geofence or not can be judged during the call, the advertisement content is determined according to the information of the entered geofence, and compared with the traditional scheme for pushing the color ring back tone advertisement, the method and the device can further enrich the opportunity of triggering the user equipment to present the advertisement content, thereby improving the utilization rate of network resources of an operator and improving the user experience.
It is understood that the user equipment may play the advertisement content in the form of still pictures or moving pictures, or other forms, on the display screen of the user equipment during the call.
Optionally, the media server may send a location subscription cancellation request to the HSS when determining that the call procedure is ended, the location subscription cancellation request indicating whether the HSS subscribes to the resource.
Specifically, the media server may consider the call process to be ended when the last of the calling on-hook message or the called on-hook message is received. The media server can send a location subscription cancellation request to the HSS, and the HSS releases the subscription resources according to the location subscription cancellation request, so that resource waste is avoided.
It is to be appreciated that the calling on-hook message or the called on-hook message can be a SIP bye message.
