The following description of the embodiments of the present application will be made clearly and fully with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which it is evident that the embodiments described are some, but not all, of the embodiments of the present application. All other embodiments, which can be made by one of ordinary skill in the art based on the embodiments herein without making any inventive effort, are intended to be within the scope of the present application.
The terms first, second and the like in the description and in the claims, are used for distinguishing between similar objects and not necessarily for describing a particular sequential or chronological order. It is to be understood that the data so used may be interchanged where appropriate such that embodiments of the present application may be implemented in sequences other than those illustrated or described herein. Furthermore, in the description and claims, "and/or" means at least one of the connected objects, and the character "/", generally means that the associated object is an "or" relationship.
The display updating method provided by the embodiment of the application is described in detail below through specific embodiments and application scenes thereof with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 1, a flowchart illustrating steps of an update method according to an embodiment of the present application is shown, where the method may include steps 100 to 300.
In this embodiment of the present application, the method is applied to a host device, where the host device is an electronic device, and the electronic device may be a mobile electronic device such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, a palm computer, a vehicle-mounted electronic device, a wearable device, an ultra-mobile personal computer (UMPC), a netbook or a personal digital assistant (personal digital assistant, PDA), or a non-mobile electronic device such as a personal computer (personal computer, PC), a Television (TV), a teller machine or a self-service machine, as long as the electronic device needs to conform to a privacy policy.
Step 100, outputting the changed privacy policy content and displaying a first application icon in a target area corresponding to the target privacy policy content when the privacy policy is detected to be changed, wherein the first application corresponding to the first application icon relates to the target privacy policy content.
In the step 100, when the electronic device detects that the privacy policy is changed, the privacy policy content with the changed privacy policy is output and displayed by a pop-up window or the like, so that the user can quickly browse the privacy policy change content; meanwhile, because the privacy policy contents related to each application are different, the icon of the application related to the privacy policy content, namely the first application icon, is displayed at the display area corresponding to each piece of privacy policy content with a change point, so that a user can quickly know the application influenced by each changed privacy policy content, and can quickly select and authorize the affected application, particularly, unified authorization, batch authorization or independently authorize each first application. Wherein, each change point can be highlighted by highlighting, red font and the like. The display interface of the privacy policy content may be specifically shown in fig. 2.
Step 200, receiving a first input to a target application icon, wherein the first application icon comprises the target application icon.
In step 200, the target application icon is an icon corresponding to an application for which authorization is required to be granted to the updated target privacy policy content in each first application; the first input is an authorization operation for performing the target privacy policy content on the target application, so that when the first input is received, the target application can be authorized to execute the target privacy policy content.
The first input may specifically be operations such as selecting a frame of the target application icon, clicking, selecting a voice, and confirming a gesture. In practical application, a selection frame corresponding to each first application icon is further displayed in the area of the target privacy policy content, and is used for receiving the first input of the user, where each selection frame is displayed corresponding to the corresponding first application icon, and may specifically be immediately displayed on the front side or the rear side of the corresponding first application icon. In fig. 2, after the application a and the application B execute the first input, a display interface of the privacy policy content may be specifically shown in fig. 3.
And 300, responding to the first input, and updating the target application corresponding to the target application icon.
In step 300, since the first input to the target application icon is received, that is, the target application is authorized to execute the target privacy policy content, that is, the user authorizes the target application privacy statement change point, the target application automatically installs the latest version for executing the latest privacy policy without requiring separate authorization by the application.
According to the updating method provided by the embodiment of the application, under the condition that the privacy policy is detected to be changed, the changed privacy policy content is output, and a first application icon is displayed in a target area corresponding to the target privacy policy content, wherein the first application corresponding to the first application icon relates to the target privacy policy content; receiving a first input of a target application icon, wherein the first application icon comprises the target application icon; and in response to the first input, updating the target application corresponding to the target application icon. In the control process, when the privacy policy is changed, the updated privacy policy content is output and displayed, and the related first application icon is displayed in the target area corresponding to the target privacy policy content, so that a user can quickly know the application related to the privacy policy updated content; meanwhile, a user can conduct authorization operation on target applications related to target privacy policy contents in batches through first input of target application icons in the first application icons, and then corresponding applications are updated, so that the problem that in the prior art, when privacy policy is changed, the user cannot quickly know updated specific contents and related applications, the user is required to conduct authorization operation repeatedly on the affected applications, and inconvenience is easily brought to the user.
Optionally, in an implementation manner, the update method provided in the embodiment of the present application further includes step 101 before step 200, and further includes step 201 after step 200.
And step 101, displaying the first application icon in a first display mode.
Step 201, displaying the target application icon in a second display mode, and displaying other application icons except the target application icon in the first display mode; wherein the second display mode is different from the first display mode.
In step 101, the first display mode is used for prompting the user about the privacy policy after the first application is not authorized to be changed. In the step, in a scene where a first application icon corresponding to a first application is required to be displayed, the first application icon is displayed according to the first display mode.
In step 201, the second display mode is used to prompt the user that the target application has authorized the privacy policy after the change, or the corresponding application does not involve the privacy declaration change authorization problem. In the scene of displaying the target application icon, displaying the target application icon of the privacy policy content after authorized updating according to the second display mode, and continuously displaying the first application icon of the privacy policy content after unauthorized updating according to the first display mode.
In the above embodiment, the first display mode is different from the second display mode, so that the authorized target application icon and the unauthorized first application icon in the first application icons related to the privacy policy change are differentially displayed, and the user can conveniently know the application with the privacy statement change.
Optionally, in a specific embodiment, the step 101 specifically includes a step 1011, and the step 201 specifically includes a step 2011.
Step 1011, displaying a preset identifier on the first application icon, where the preset identifier is used to prompt the privacy policy after the first application corresponding to the first application icon is not authorized to be changed.
In step 1011, for the first application related to the privacy policy update, in the scene where the first application icon needs to be displayed, the preset identifier is displayed on the first application icon, so as to display the privacy policy prompting the user after the first application is not authorized to be changed. Wherein, the preset mark can be a red frame, a highlight and the like.
And 2011, removing the preset identifier on the target application icon, and displaying the preset identifier on other application icons except the target application icon in the first application icon.
In the step 2011, for the target application in the first application related to the privacy policy update, because the target application has already selected the privacy policy content after the privacy policy update, the preset identifier on the application icon disappears, and the preset identifiers are still displayed on the application icons of the first application of the other privacy policy content after the privacy policy update, so as to significantly prompt the user.
For example, if the changed privacy policy content relates to application a, application B, and application C, but not relates to application D, application E, and application F, before the updated privacy policy authorization operation is performed through the first input, the desktop display effect of the application icons including application a, application B, application C, application D, application E, and application F on the desktop of the electronic device is shown in fig. 4, where red frames are displayed on the application icons of application a, application B, and application C, and red frames are not displayed on the application icons of application D, application E, and application F;
after the privacy policy authorization operation is performed on the application a and the application B by the first input, the desktop display effect of the application graphics of each application on the desktop of the electronic device is shown in fig. 5, where the red frames on the application icons of the application a and the application B disappear, the red frame on the application icon of the application C is still displayed, and the red frames are not displayed on the application icons of the application D, the application E and the application F.
In addition, each of the first applications displayed on the display interface of the privacy policy content has a red frame displayed on its application icon, as shown in fig. 2 and 3.
Optionally, in an implementation manner, the update method provided in the embodiment of the present application further includes step 202 after the step 200.
Step 202, unloading or hiding and displaying the second application under the condition that the changed privacy policy affects the operation of the second application;
or if the changed privacy policy is detected to influence the operation of a second application, displaying prompt information if a second input to the second application is received;
the second application is an application except the target application in the first application, and the prompt information is used for prompting the privacy policy and the authorization path after the second application is not authorized to change.
In step 202, when the privacy policy is changed, it is first determined whether the authorization will affect the running of the second application, for example, if the second application cannot be opened or started due to the unauthorized change of the privacy policy, the changed privacy policy will affect the running of the second application.
And under the condition that the changed privacy policy does not influence the operation of the second application, normally displaying the second application, or highlighting the application icon of the second application according to the second display mode.
In the case that the changed privacy policy affects the operation of the second application, that is, the second application cannot normally operate, in order to avoid excessive desktop display areas of invalid applications, the second application may be displayed in a hidden manner; of course, the second application may also be uninstalled to avoid the invalid application from occupying too much system memory.
In step 202, it is considered that although the second application cannot function normally, the user may still need to use the second application, so that the second application may be retained, and the update reminder is performed when the user triggers to use the second application through the second input.
Specifically, the second input is a display interface other than the display interface of the privacy policy content, for example, a desktop, and the starting operation of the second application may specifically be operations such as selecting a frame, clicking, touching, selecting a voice, and confirming a gesture of an application icon of the target application.
In step 202, when the second input is received, it is indicated that the user wishes to start the second application, but because the second application does not authorize the changed privacy policy and the changed privacy policy affects the operation of the second application, the second application cannot normally operate, so that prompt information is displayed to prompt the second application to authorize the changed privacy policy and display an authorization path, so that the user authorizes the change of the privacy policy for the second application according to the authorization path.
For example, when clicking on the top of "application C" in fig. 5, the box prompts "privacy change of the application is not authorized currently", and if authorization is required by using the latest version of the application (path), the specific display effect is shown in fig. 6.
Optionally, in a specific implementation manner, the step 202 includes steps 2021 to 2023 in the update method provided in the embodiments of the present application.
Step 2021, determining a frequency of use of the second application if it is detected that the changed privacy policy affects operation of the second application.
In step 2021, the second application is an application other than the target application in the first application, that is, an application to which the changed privacy policy relates and is not authorized by the user to change the privacy policy.
In the case where it is determined that the changed privacy policy may affect the operation of the second application, it is necessary to further determine the usage of the second application to determine a specific display operation for the second application, and thus it is necessary to determine the frequency of usage of the second application.
Step 2022, unloading or hiding the second application if the frequency of use of the second application is less than or equal to a preset frequency threshold.
In the step, the preset frequency threshold is a frequency threshold for judging whether the second application is frequently used or not; in the case that the use frequency of the second application is less than or equal to the preset frequency threshold value, the user is less used in the second application; the second application is not authorized to change the privacy policy, and the changed privacy policy affects the operation of the second application, that is, the second application cannot normally operate, so that in order to avoid excessive desktop display areas of invalid applications, the second application can be hidden and displayed; of course, the second application may also be uninstalled to avoid the invalid application from occupying too much system memory.
Step 2023, displaying prompt information when receiving a second input of the second application if the frequency of use of the second application is greater than a preset frequency threshold, where the prompt information is used to prompt the privacy policy after the second application is not authorized to change, and an authorization path.
In the step 2023, in the case where the frequency of use of the second application is greater than the preset frequency threshold, it is indicated that the user uses the second application more frequently; although the second application does not authorize the changed privacy policy, and the changed privacy policy affects the operation of the second application, that is, the second application cannot operate normally, because the user is highly likely to need to use the second application, the second application can be displayed normally in an application icon scene where the second application needs to be displayed, or the application icon of the second application can be highlighted by using the first display mode.
In step 2023, when the second input is received, it is described that the user wants to start the second application, but because the second application does not authorize the changed privacy policy, and the changed privacy policy affects the operation of the second application, the second application cannot normally operate, so that a prompt message is displayed to prompt the second application to authorize the changed privacy policy, and an authorization path is displayed, so that the user authorizes the change of the privacy policy for the second application according to the authorization path.
Optionally, in an implementation manner, the update method provided in the embodiment of the present application further includes step 301 after the step 300.
Step 301, outputting a content change point between the privacy policy content before modification and the privacy policy content after modification when receiving a third input of the privacy policy from the user, and displaying a third application icon at the content change point, wherein a third application corresponding to the third application icon relates to the content change point.
In step 301, the third input is to confirm the operation of checking the privacy policy change condition, and then determine whether the corresponding application authorizes the privacy policy change according to the operation of the user, which may be specifically a click operation on the privacy policy link. In practical application, the privacy policy page of the corresponding application can be accessed through accessing the authorization path in the prompt message corresponding to each second application, the privacy policy authorization window comprising the privacy policy link is displayed in a popup window or other form, and the third input is triggered by clicking the privacy policy link. The privacy policy page may be shown in fig. 7. The user may trigger the third input by clicking on the "difference between new and old privacy policies" option in fig. 7.
In the embodiment, the content change point between the privacy policy content before the change and the privacy policy content after the change is output, and the icon corresponding to the third application related to the content change point is displayed at the content change point, so that the difference comparison display of the new and old privacy policy change points is realized, namely, the user is controlled to enter a difference comparison mode, the user can intuitively and quickly want to know the influence of the changed point on the application, and the reading efficiency and the effectiveness of the user selection are improved. The difference between the new privacy policy and the old privacy policy and the display effect are shown in fig. 8.
Optionally, in another embodiment, the content of the privacy policy before the change and the content of the privacy policy after the change may be displayed in a full-text contrast mode under the condition that the fourth input of the privacy policy by the user is received, that is, the user is controlled to enter the full-text contrast mode, so that the user can more comprehensively know the change points of the new and old privacy policies and know the context of the full-text privacy policy and the change points.
The user may trigger the fourth input by clicking on the "full text difference between new and old privacy policies" in fig. 7.
Optionally, in an implementation manner, the update method provided in the embodiment of the present application further includes step 302 after the step 300.
Step 302, displaying related information of the preset noun under the condition that a fifth input of the user to the preset noun in the privacy policy content is received, wherein the related information comprises noun explanation and use purposes.
In this embodiment, the fifth input is an operation for determining that a solution needs to be performed on a preset noun in the content of the privacy policy, and specifically may be operations such as clicking, touching, and locking a cursor on the preset noun. When a fifth input to the preset noun is received, the noun explanation, the using purpose and other relevant information of the preset noun are displayed, so that the user can conveniently and clearly understand the updated privacy policy content in more detail.
For example, in fig. 8, when the mouse cursor moves to the terminology "EMMCID, UFSID", the system pops up the TIP, prompting the user for noun interpretation and usage purposes: the UFSID is XXX, destination XXX using UFSID.
It should be noted that, in the update method provided in the embodiment of the present application, the execution body may be an electronic device, or a control module in the electronic device for executing the loading update method. In the embodiment of the present application, an example of a method for executing loading update by an electronic device is described.
