The first combined icon is an icon combined by M sub-icons, the target icon is an application icon or an icon combined by N sub-icons, and M and N are integers greater than 1.
It should be noted that in the embodiments of the present application, the icon of the application may be simply referred to as an application icon, and in the following embodiments, the application icon is collectively described as the application icon, which is used to replace the icon of the application.
In addition, in this embodiment of the application, the combined icon is an icon generated by combining a plurality of application icons, the combined icon includes a plurality of sub-icons, and one application icon in the plurality of application icons corresponds to one sub-icon in the plurality of sub-icons, that is, one sub-icon may be an icon obtained by reducing one application icon by a preset multiple, or may be a part of one application icon. The plurality of application icons may be the same or different in kind, and each of the plurality of application icons may be an icon of a system application or an icon of a third party application. In the embodiment of the present application, the manner of generating the combined icon in a combined manner is a grouping manner for a plurality of application icons.
Alternatively, the display size of the combination icon and the display size of the general application icon may be the same or different. Further, the display sizes of any two sub-icons of the plurality of sub-icons included in the combined icon may be the same or different.
Illustratively, assume that the display size of a normal application icon is s and the display size of one sub-icon is d. And when the display size of the first combined icon is the same as that of the common application icon and the display sizes of any two sub-icons in the M sub-icons included in the first combined icon are the same, d is 1/M s.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the first combined icon is a combined icon generated by combining M application icons, that is, the first combined icon includes M sub-icons, and one application icon of the M application icons corresponds to one sub-icon of the M sub-icons.
Optionally, the target icon is a combined icon generated by combining the N application icons. The target icon is an icon formed by combining N sub-icons, that is, the target icon includes N sub-icons, and one application icon of the N application icons corresponds to one sub-icon of the N sub-icons.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the first input may be a touch input, a gesture input, a voice input, or the like for the first combined icon and the target icon. For example, the touch input is an input of dragging the target icon to the first combined icon.
S102, the icon display control device responds to the first input, cancels the display of the first combined icon and the target icon, and displays a second combined icon.
The second combined icon is an icon formed by combining M sub-icons and an application icon, or an icon formed by combining M sub-icons and N sub-icons. Each sub-icon is used to indicate an application.
Optionally, the S102 may specifically be: the icon display control means generates a second combined icon in response to the first input, displays the second combined icon, and cancels display of the first combined icon and the target icon
Specifically, the above S102 may include two possible implementation manners:
in one possible implementation, the icon display control means cancels the display of the first combined icon and the target icon in response to the first input, and displays the second combined icon at a display position of the first combined icon before the first input is received.
In another possible implementation, the icon display control means cancels display of the first combined icon and the target icon in response to the first input, and displays the second combined icon at a display position of the target icon before the first input is received.
Optionally, the second combined icon may include one icon page or a plurality of icon pages. Specifically, the following possibilities can be included:
in one possible case, where the second combined icon includes one icon page, the icon page displays a plurality of sub-icons.
In another possible case, in a case where the second combined icon includes a plurality of icon pages, one of the icon pages may display one sub-icon, and other icon pages than the one icon page among the icon pages may respectively display a plurality of sub-icons.
In another possible case, in a case where the second combined icon includes a plurality of icon pages, each of the plurality of icon pages may display a plurality of sub-icons, respectively.

S102A, the icon display control device responds to the first input, and respectively displays P sub-icons on (K-1) icon pages of the K icon pages, and displays M + N- (K-1) × P sub-icons on one icon page of the K icon pages except the (K-1) icon pages, and displays K page identifiers corresponding to the K icon pages.
Optionally, in an embodiment of the present application, M + N- (K-1) × P is less than or equal to P.
Optionally, when the second combined icon includes K icon pages, the K icon pages correspond to K paging identifiers, that is, one icon page corresponds to one paging identifier.
Optionally, the S102A may specifically be: the icon display control device responds to the first input, displays a first icon page of the K icon pages of the second combined icon, and displays K paging identifications corresponding to the K icon pages. Wherein (K-1) icon pages in the K icon pages respectively display P sub-icons, and one icon page except the (K-1) icon pages in the K icon pages displays M + N- (K-1) × P sub-icons. It should be noted that the first icon page may be any one of the K icon pages, so that the first icon page may display P sub-icons or M + N- (K-1) × P sub-icons.
Optionally, the second combined icon includes K icon pages. After S102A, the icon display control method provided in the embodiment of the present application may further include: and receiving input of a user, and responding to the input to sequentially display each icon page in the K icon pages.
It can be understood that, since the second combined icon includes K icon pages, and each icon page can display a plurality of sub-icons, the user can select, as needed, an application program that triggers the sub-icon indication included in one of the K icon pages.
It should be noted that, in the case of displaying the combined icon, it means that a plurality of sub-icons included in the combined icon are displayed, and therefore, a user can directly perform a touch operation on the plurality of sub-icons.
For example, the target icon is an independent application icon, and the icon display control device is a mobile phone. As shown in fig. 2 (a), a combination icon 01, an application icon E, and an application icon F are displayed in the interface of the mobile phone. The combined icon 01 includes a sub-icon a, a sub-icon B, a sub-icon C, and a sub-icon D. If the user wants to scratch application icon E into a grouping of composite icons 01, the user can drag the application icon E (i.e., the target icon) to the composite icon 01 (i.e., the first composite icon). After the mobile phone receives an input that the user drags the application icon E to the combined icon 01, in response to the dragging input, as shown in fig. 2 (b), the mobile phone generates and displays a combined icon 02, i.e., a second combined icon, and displays two page identifiers 03. The combined icon 02 includes a sub-icon a, a sub-icon B, a sub-icon C, a sub-icon D, and a sub-icon D of the application icon E, and each paging indicator may indicate an icon page of the combined icon 02.
For example, the target icon is taken as a combined icon, and the icon display control device is taken as a mobile phone. As shown in fig. 3 (a), a combination icon 01 and a combination icon 04 are displayed on the interface of the mobile phone. The combined icon 01 comprises a sub-icon A, a sub-icon B, a sub-icon C and a sub-icon D, and the combined icon 04 comprises a sub-icon E and a sub-icon F. If the user wants to scratch the app icon in the combined icon 01 and the app icon in the combined icon 04 into one group, the user can drag the combined icon 04 (i.e., the target icon) to the combined icon 01 (i.e., the first combined icon). After the mobile phone receives an input that the user drags the combined icon 04 to the combined icon 01, in response to the drag input, as shown in (b) of fig. 3, the mobile phone generates and displays a combined icon 05, i.e., a second combined icon, and displays two page identifiers 06. The combined icon 05 includes a sub-icon a, a sub-icon B, a sub-icon C, a sub-icon D, a sub-icon E, and a sub-icon F, and each paging indicator may indicate an icon page of the combined icon 05. As shown in fig. 3 (B), the mobile phone displays one icon page of the combined icon 05, which displays sub-icon a, sub-icon B, sub-icon C, and sub-icon D, and if the user wants to view another icon page of the combined icon 05, the user can slide the combined icon 05. After the mobile phone receives the slide input, in response to the slide input, as shown in (c) in fig. 3, the mobile phone displays another icon page 07 of the combined icon 05, the other icon page 07 being displayed with the sub-icon E and the sub-icon F.
The embodiment of the application provides an icon display control method, if a user wants to group M sub-icons and a target icon included in a first combined icon into a group, the user can trigger and display a second combined icon including the M sub-icons and the target icon through one input of the first combined icon and the target icon, namely, the first combined icon and the target icon are combined to group the M sub-icons and the target icon into a group, and the user does not need to frequently trigger to drag application icons in one group into another group one by one. Thus, the efficiency of grouping the corresponding icons is improved.
Optionally, after displaying the second combined icon, if the application program indicated by one sub-icon included in the second combined icon receives a message, the user is prompted by changing the display mode of the one sub-icon. Exemplarily, with reference to fig. 1, as shown in fig. 4, after the above S102, the icon display control method provided in the embodiment of the present application may further include the following S103.
S103, when the first application receives the target message, the icon display control device updates the display mode of the first sub-icon of the M + N sub-icons to the first display mode, and updates the display modes of the other sub-icons except the first sub-icon of the M + N sub-icons to the second display mode.
The first application program is indicated by the first sub-icon.
Alternatively, the first application program may be a communication application program or other types of application programs. The target message may be a chat message or a notification message. It is understood that, in the case that the target message is a chat message, the first application is a communication application; in the case where the target message is a notification message, the first application is any type of application.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, a display manner of the first sub-icon may include at least one of the following: display position, display size, display shape, display color, display identification, and the like. For example, the first sub-icon is displayed in red, is displayed in a rectangular shape, and is indicated by "a".
Optionally, before the first application receives the target message, the display manners of the M + N sub-icons may be the same or different, which is determined specifically according to the actual situation, and this is not limited in this embodiment of the application. In addition, in this embodiment of the application, the first display mode and the second display mode are different, and for the first display mode and the second display mode, reference may be made to the description of the display mode of the first sub-icon in the foregoing embodiment, and details are not described here again.
It should be noted that, in the above embodiment, the display mode of the received target message update sub-icon is taken as an example, and this embodiment of the present application may also provide another implementation mode: and updating the display mode of each sub-icon according to the use parameters of the application program indicated by each sub-icon, wherein the use parameters can comprise use frequency, click frequency and use duration. In this way, since the use parameters of the application program indicated by each sub-icon are different, the display mode of each sub-icon is different.
Exemplarily, the icon display control device is taken as a mobile phone. As shown in fig. 5 (a), a combined icon 05 is displayed in the interface of the mobile phone, where the combined icon 05 includes two icon pages, and one of the two icon pages displays a sub-icon a, a sub-icon B, a sub-icon C, and a sub-icon D. Wherein the display size of each sub-icon is the same, and the display size of each sub-icon is 1/4 of the display size of the combined icon 05. If application a indicated by sub-icon a receives a new message, the handset may update the display size of sub-icon a in combined icon 05 to 1/2 of the display size of combined icon 05 and update the display sizes of sub-icon B, sub-icon C, and sub-icon D to 1/6 of the display size of combined icon 03, respectively, as shown in (B) of fig. 5. In this way, the user can know that the application a indicated by the sub-icon a receives a new message according to the enlargement of the display size of the sub-icon a.
According to the icon display control method provided by the embodiment of the application, when the first application program indicated by the first sub-icon in the M + N sub-icons receives the target message, the display mode of the first sub-icon can be updated to the first display mode, and the display modes of other sub-icons except the first sub-icon in the M + N sub-icons are updated to the second display mode, so that the user is reminded of receiving the message by the change of the display modes, and the user can conveniently distinguish which application program indicated by the sub-icon receives the message.
Optionally, after the user triggers and displays the target message of the first application program, that is, the target message is a read message, so that the display mode of the first sub-icon corresponding to the first application program can be controlled to be restored to the initial display mode. For example, with reference to fig. 4, as shown in fig. 6, after S103, the icon display control method provided in the embodiment of the present application may further include S104.
And S104, under the condition that the target message is the read message, the icon display control device updates the display mode of the first sub-icon to the third display mode and updates the display modes of other sub-icons to the fourth display mode.
And the third display mode is the display mode of the first sub-icon before the target message is received. The fourth display mode is the display mode of other sub-icons before the target message is received.
Optionally, before the step S104, the icon display control method provided in the embodiment of the present application may further include: and receiving input of the first sub-icon, and responding to the input to display the target message of the first application program indicated by the first sub-icon.
Optionally, the third display mode and the fourth display mode may be the same or different. For the third display mode and the fourth display mode, reference may be made to the description of the display mode of the first sub-icon in the foregoing embodiment, and details are not described here.
For example, the icon display control device is taken as a mobile phone. As shown in fig. 5 (B), a combined icon 05 is displayed in the interface of the mobile phone, where the combined icon 05 includes two icon pages, and one of the two icon pages displays a sub-icon a, a sub-icon B, a sub-icon C, and a sub-icon D. Since the display size of sub-icon a is 1/2 of the display size of combined icon 05 and the display sizes of sub-icon B, sub-icon C, and sub-icon D are 1/6 of the display size of combined icon 05, the user can determine that application a indicated by sub-icon a receives a new message, and the user can trigger application a to display the new message. In this way, in the case where the new message is a read message, as shown in fig. 5 (a), the mobile phone can update the display size of the sub icon a to 1/4 of the display size of the combined icon 05, and update the display sizes of the sub icon B, the sub icon C, and the sub icon D to 1/4 of the display size of the combined icon 05, respectively. I.e. each sub-icon is restored to the original display mode.
According to the icon display control method provided by the embodiment of the application, when the target message is a read message, the display mode of the first sub-icon can be updated to the display mode before the target message is received, and the display modes of other sub-icons are updated to the display modes before the target message is received, that is, the first sub-icon and other sub-icons are restored to the initial display state, so that a user can know that a new message is not received currently.
Optionally, with reference to fig. 1, as shown in fig. 7, before the foregoing S101, the icon display control method provided in the embodiment of the present application may further include the following S105 and S106.
And S105, the icon display control device receives second input of the first application icon and the second application icon.
Optionally, the number of the first application icon and the second application icon may be one or more. When the number of the first application icons and the number of the second application icons are both multiple, the number of the first application icons and the number of the second application icons may be the same or different. The method can be determined according to actual conditions, and is not limited in the embodiment of the application.
Illustratively, the number of the first application icons is one, and the number of the second application icons is multiple; the number of the first application icons is multiple, and the number of the second application icons is one; the number of the first application icons is multiple, and the number of the second application icons is multiple.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the first application program corresponding to the first application icon and the second application program corresponding to the second application icon may be the same type of application program or different types of application programs. Specifically, the embodiments of the present application are not limited to this, as determined by practical circumstances.
Optionally, in a case where the target interface displays the first application icon and the second application icon, the target interface also displays other application icons except for the first application icon and the second application icon. The target interface may be a desktop interface or other possible interfaces.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the first input may be a touch input, a gesture input, a voice input, or the like for the first application icon and the second application icon. For example, the touch input is an input of dragging a first application icon to a second application icon.
S106, the icon display control device responds to the second input, cancels the display of the first application icon and the second application icon, and generates and displays a first combined icon.
The M sub-icons comprise sub-icons of the first application icon and sub-icons of the second application icon.
Specifically, the above S106 may include two possible implementation manners:
in one possible implementation, the icon display control means generates a first combined icon in response to the second input and cancels display of the first application icon and the second application icon, and displays the first combined icon at a display position of the first application icon before the second input is received.
In another possible implementation, the icon display control means generates a first combined icon in response to the second input and cancels display of the first application icon and the second application icon, and displays the first combined icon at a display position of the second application icon before the second input is received.
Optionally, in a case that the second input is a touch input, the display position of the first combined icon is related to a touch sequence of the first application icon and the second application icon.
Exemplarily, it is assumed that the second input is a drag input.
