The terms first, second and the like in the description and in the claims of the present application are used for distinguishing between similar elements and not necessarily for describing a particular sequential or chronological order. It is to be understood that the data so used is interchangeable under appropriate circumstances such that the embodiments of the application are capable of operation in sequences other than those illustrated or described herein. In addition, "and/or" in the specification and claims means at least one of connected objects, a character "/" generally means that a preceding and succeeding related objects are in an "or" relationship.
The display updating method provided by the embodiment of the present application is described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings through specific embodiments and application scenarios thereof.
Referring to fig. 1, a flowchart illustrating steps of an updating method according to an embodiment of the present application is shown, where the method may include steps 100 to 300.
In the embodiment of the present application, the method is applied to a host device, the host device is an electronic device, and the electronic device may be a mobile electronic device such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, a palm computer, a vehicle-mounted electronic device, a wearable device, an ultra-mobile personal computer (UMPC), a netbook, or a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), or may also be a non-mobile electronic device such as a Personal Computer (PC), a Television (TV), a teller machine, or a self-service machine, as long as the electronic device needs to comply with a privacy policy.
Step 100, under the condition that the privacy policy is detected to be changed, outputting the changed privacy policy content, and displaying a first application icon in a target area corresponding to the target privacy policy content, wherein the first application corresponding to the first application icon relates to the target privacy policy content.
In the step 100, when the electronic device detects that the privacy policy is changed, the changed privacy policy content is output and displayed in a pop-up window or other manner, so that the user can quickly browse the privacy policy change content; meanwhile, because the privacy policy contents related to each application are different, the icon of the application related to the privacy policy content is displayed at the display area corresponding to the privacy policy content at each change point, namely, the first application icon, so that the user can quickly know the application influenced by each changed privacy policy content, and can conveniently and quickly select and authorize the influenced application subsequently, specifically, unified authorization, batch authorization or individual authorization can be performed on each first application. The change points may be highlighted by highlighting, red font, or the like. The display interface of the privacy policy content may be specifically as shown in fig. 2.
Step 200, receiving a first input to a target application icon, wherein the first application icon comprises the target application icon.
In the step 200, the target application icon is an icon corresponding to an application, which is confirmed by the user to be authorized to correspond to the updated target privacy policy content, in each first application; the first input is an operation for authorizing the target application to perform the target privacy policy content, so that the target application can be authorized to execute the target privacy policy content when the first input to the target application is received.
The first input may specifically be an operation of frame selection, click, voice selection, gesture confirmation, and the like on the target application icon. In practical applications, a selection box corresponding to each first application icon is further displayed in an area of the target privacy policy content, so as to receive the first input of the user, and each selection box is displayed corresponding to the corresponding first application icon, and may be specifically displayed immediately in front of or behind the corresponding first application icon. In fig. 2, after the first input is performed on the application a and the application B, a display interface of the content of the privacy policy may be specifically as shown in fig. 3.
And step 300, responding to the first input, and updating the target application corresponding to the target application icon.
In step 300, since the first input to the target application icon is received, that is, the target application is authorized to execute the target privacy policy content, that is, the user authorizes the target application privacy statement change point, in order to execute the latest privacy policy, the target application will automatically install the latest version without separate authorization through the application.
According to the updating method provided by the embodiment of the application, under the condition that the privacy policy is detected to be changed, the changed privacy policy content is output, and the first application icon is displayed in the target area corresponding to the target privacy policy content, wherein the first application corresponding to the first application icon relates to the target privacy policy content; receiving a first input of a target application icon, wherein the first application icon comprises the target application icon; and responding to the first input, and updating the target application corresponding to the target application icon. In the control process, when the privacy policy is changed, the updated privacy policy content is output and displayed, and the related first application icon is displayed in the target area corresponding to the target privacy policy content, so that a user can quickly know the application related to the privacy policy updating content; meanwhile, the user can perform authorization operation on the target applications related to the target privacy policy content in batches through first input of the target application icons in the first application icons, and then corresponding applications are updated.
Optionally, in an implementation manner, the updating method provided in this embodiment of the present application further includes step 101 before step 200, and further includes step 201 after step 200.
Step 101, displaying the first application icon in a first display mode.
Step 201, displaying the target application icon in a second display mode, and displaying other application icons except the target application icon in the first display mode; wherein the second display mode is different from the first display mode.
In step 101, the first display mode is used to prompt the user of the privacy policy after the first application is not authorized to be changed. In the step, in a scene where a first application icon corresponding to a first application needs to be displayed, the first application icon is displayed according to the first display mode.
In step 201, the second display mode is used to prompt the user that the target application is authorized to change the privacy policy, or the corresponding application does not relate to the privacy declaration and change authorization problem. In the step, in a scene needing to display the target application icon, the target application icon of the privacy policy content authorized to be updated is displayed according to the second display mode, and the first application icon of the privacy policy content unauthorized to be updated is continuously displayed according to the first display mode.
In the embodiment, the first display mode is different from the second display mode, so that an authorized target application icon and an unauthorized first application icon in the first application icon related to the privacy policy change are displayed in a differentiated manner, and a user can know the application with the privacy statement change.
Optionally, in a specific embodiment, the step 101 specifically includes step 1011, and the step 201 specifically includes step 2011.
Step 1011, displaying a preset identifier on the first application icon, where the preset identifier is used to prompt the privacy policy, which is obtained after the first application corresponding to the first application icon is not authorized to be changed, of the first application.
In step 1011, for the first application related to the privacy policy update, in a scene where the first application icon needs to be displayed, the preset identifier is displayed on the first application icon, so that the privacy policy prompting the user that the first application is not authorized to be changed is displayed. Wherein, the preset mark can be a red frame, a highlight and the like.
And 2011, removing the preset identifier on the target application icon, and displaying the preset identifier on the other application icons except the target application icon in the first application icon.
In step 2011, for the target application in the first application related to the privacy policy update, since the user has selected the privacy policy content authorized to be updated, the preset identifier on the application icon disappears, and the preset identifier is still displayed on the application icons of the first applications of the other privacy policy contents unauthorized to be updated, so as to significantly prompt the user.
For example, if the changed privacy policy content relates to application a, application B, and application C, but not to application D, application E, and application F, before performing the updated privacy policy authorization operation through the first input, the desktop display effect of the application icons including application a, application B, application C, application D, application E, and application F on the electronic device is as shown in fig. 4, where the application icons of application a, application B, and application C all display red boxes, and the application icons of application D, application E, and application F do not display red boxes;
after the updated privacy policy authorization operation is performed on the application a and the application B through the first input, the display effect of the application graph of each application on the desktop of the electronic device is as shown in fig. 5, where the red frame on the application icon of the application a and the application B disappears, the red frame on the application icon of the application C still displays, and the red frames are not displayed on the application icons of the application D, the application E, and the application F.
In addition, each first application displayed on the display interface of the privacy policy content has a red frame displayed on its application icon, as shown in fig. 2 and 3.
Optionally, in an implementation manner, the updating method provided in this embodiment of the present application further includes step 202 after the step 200.
Step 202, unloading or hiding and displaying a second application when detecting that the changed privacy policy influences the operation of the second application;
or, when it is detected that the changed privacy policy affects the operation of a second application, if a second input to the second application is received, displaying a prompt message;
the second application is an application except the target application in the first application, and the prompting information is used for prompting the privacy policy and the authorized path after the second application is not authorized to be changed.
In step 202, when the privacy policy is changed, it is first determined whether authorization affects operation and use of the second application, for example, if the second application cannot be opened or started due to unauthorized privacy policy change, it is determined that the changed privacy policy affects operation of the second application.
And under the condition that the changed privacy policy does not influence the running of the second application, normally displaying the second application, or highlighting the application icon of the second application according to the second display mode.
Under the condition that the changed privacy policy influences the operation of the second application, namely the second application cannot normally operate, the second application can be hidden and displayed in order to avoid excessive desktop display areas of invalid applications; of course, the second application may also be uninstalled to avoid the invalid application from occupying too much system memory.
In step 202, considering that although the second application cannot operate normally, the user may still need to use the second application, the second application may be retained, and the update reminder may be performed when the user triggers to use the second application through the second input.
Specifically, the second input is a display interface other than the display interface of the privacy policy content, for example, a desktop, and the operation of starting the second application may specifically be an operation of frame selection, click, touch, voice selection, gesture confirmation, and the like on an application icon of the target application.
In step 202, when the second input is received, it indicates that the user wishes to start the second application, but the changed privacy policy is not authorized by the second application, and the changed privacy policy affects the operation of the second application, so that the second application cannot operate normally, and therefore, a prompt message is displayed to prompt the second application of the privacy policy that is not authorized to be changed, and an authorization path is displayed, so that the user can authorize the privacy policy change to the second application according to the authorization path.
For example, when "application C" in fig. 5 is clicked, the box-pop prompts "privacy change of the application is not authorized currently, and if authorization needs to be performed using the latest version map (path)", the specific display effect is as shown in fig. 6.
Optionally, in a specific implementation manner, in the updating method provided in this embodiment of the present application, the step 202 includes steps 2021 to 2023.
Step 2021, determining a frequency of use of the second application when it is detected that the changed privacy policy may affect the operation of the second application.
In step 2021, the second application is an application of the first application except the target application, that is, an application related to the changed privacy policy and not authorized to be changed by the user.
In a case where it is determined that the changed privacy policy affects the operation of the second application, it is necessary to further determine the use condition of the second application to determine a specific display operation for the second application, and thus it is necessary to determine the use frequency of the second application.
Step 2022, unloading or hiding the second application when the usage frequency of the second application is less than or equal to a preset frequency threshold.
In this step, the preset frequency threshold is a frequency threshold for determining whether the second application is frequently used; when the use frequency of the second application is less than or equal to the preset frequency threshold, the user is indicated to use the second application less; the changed privacy policy is not authorized by the second application, and the changed privacy policy influences the operation of the second application, namely the second application cannot normally operate, so that the second application can be hidden and displayed in order to avoid excessive desktop display areas of invalid applications; of course, the second application may also be uninstalled to avoid the invalid application from occupying too much system memory.
Step 2023, when the usage frequency of the second application is greater than the preset frequency threshold, displaying a prompt message when a second input of the second application is received, where the prompt message is used to prompt the privacy policy and the authorization path after unauthorized change of the second application.
In step 2023, if the usage frequency of the second application is greater than the predetermined frequency threshold, it indicates that the user uses the second application more frequently; although the changed privacy policy is not authorized by the second application, and the changed privacy policy may affect the operation of the second application, that is, the second application cannot operate normally, because the user may need to use the second application, the second application may be normally displayed in the application icon scene where the second application needs to be displayed, or the application icon of the second application may be highlighted in the first display mode.
In step 2023, when the second input is received, it indicates that the user wishes to start the second application, but the changed privacy policy is not authorized by the second application, and the changed privacy policy affects the operation of the second application, so that the second application cannot operate normally, and therefore, a prompt message is displayed to prompt the second application that the changed privacy policy is not authorized by the second application, and an authorization path is displayed so that the user authorizes the change of the privacy policy with respect to the second application according to the authorization path.
Optionally, in an implementation manner, the updating method provided in this embodiment of the present application further includes step 301 after step 300.
Step 301, when a third input of the privacy policy by the user is received, outputting a content change point between the content of the privacy policy before the change and the content of the privacy policy after the change, and displaying a third application icon at the content change point, wherein the third application corresponding to the third application icon relates to the content change point.
In step 301, the third input is to confirm an operation of checking a privacy policy change condition, and further determine whether the corresponding application authorizes the privacy policy change according to the operation of the user, which may be specifically a click operation on a privacy policy link. In practical application, the privacy policy page corresponding to the application can be accessed by accessing the authorization path in the prompt message corresponding to each second application, a privacy policy authorization window including a privacy policy link is displayed in a form of a popup window or the like, and the third input is triggered by clicking the privacy policy link. The privacy policy page may be seen in fig. 7. The user may trigger the third input by clicking on the "new and old privacy policy full-text differences" option in fig. 7.
In the embodiment, by outputting the content change point between the privacy policy content before the change and the privacy policy content after the change and displaying the icon corresponding to the third application related to the content change point at the content change point, the difference comparison display of the new and old privacy policy change points is realized, namely, the user is controlled to enter a difference comparison mode, so that the user can intuitively and quickly know the influence of the changed point on the application, and the reading efficiency and the effectiveness of user selection are improved. The comparison and display effect of the new and old privacy policy differences is shown in fig. 8.
Optionally, in another embodiment, the content of the privacy policy before being changed and the content of the privacy policy after being changed may be displayed in a full-text comparison manner under the condition that a fourth input of the user on the privacy policy is received, that is, the user is controlled to enter a full-text comparison mode, so that the user can know the change point of the new and old privacy policies more comprehensively, and can know the full text of the privacy policy and the context of the change point at the same time.
Wherein, the user can trigger the fourth input by clicking the "full-text difference between the new and old privacy policies" in fig. 7.
Optionally, in an implementation manner, the updating method provided in this embodiment of the present application further includes step 302 after step 300.
Step 302, displaying relevant information of a preset noun in the privacy policy content under the condition that a fifth input of a user on the preset noun is received, wherein the relevant information comprises noun explanation and use purpose.
In this embodiment, the fifth input is an operation of determining that a preset noun in the content of the privacy policy needs to be answered, and specifically may be an operation of clicking, touching, or locking a cursor on the preset noun. And when a fifth input of the preset noun is received, displaying the noun explanation, the use purpose and other related information of the preset noun, so that the user can understand the updated privacy policy content more specifically and clearly.
For example, in FIG. 8, when the mouse cursor is moved to the terms EMMCID, UFSID, the system pops up the TIP, prompting the user for noun interpretation and purpose of use: UFSID is XXX, using the destination XXX of the UFSID.
It should be noted that, in the update method provided in the embodiment of the present application, the execution main body may be an electronic device, or a control module in the electronic device for executing the loading update method.
