In the absorbent article, it is preferable that a film is disposed on a non-skin side of the absorbent core and on a skin side of the skin-side sheet, the absorbent main body has a back sheet covering the absorbent core from the non-skin side, the back sheet is disposed on the non-skin side of the film, the back sheet has a folded-back portion folded back toward the skin side with both end portions in the lateral direction so as to sandwich the film, and a predetermined interval is provided between an end of the film and an end of the back sheet on an outer side of the folded-back portion in the lateral direction.
According to such an absorbent article, the folded-back portion of the back sheet forms the leg hole opening portion, and the end portion on the outer side in the lateral direction of the folded-back portion is likely to come into contact with the skin, and therefore, if the film reaches the end portion, there is a possibility that a feeling of discomfort is given to the skin.

As this absorbent article, it is desirable that a film is disposed at a position on a non-skin side of the absorbent core and on a skin side of the skin side sheet, and that an end portion in a longitudinal direction of the absorbent core overlaps with the film and the end portion in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent core overlaps with the discontinuous portion of the elastic member when viewed in the thickness direction.
According to such an absorbent article, the absorbent core can maintain the absorbency without contracting in the lateral direction up to the end portions in the longitudinal direction, and the contraction of the film disposed on the non-skin side of the absorbent core is suppressed. This can prevent moisture from the absorbent core from leaking to the skin side sheet located on the non-skin side of the film.
Embodiments of the present invention are described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings
Hereinafter, an embodiment of a pants-type disposable diaper for infants will be described as an absorbent article of the present invention. However, the present invention is not limited to the above, and the absorbent article of the present invention can be applied to a disposable diaper for adults, a pants-type sanitary napkin, and the like.
< basic Structure of diaper 1 >
Fig. 1 is a schematic perspective view of a pants-type disposable diaper 1 (hereinafter, also referred to as "diaper 1"). Fig. 2 is a schematic plan view of the diaper 1 in an unfolded and stretched state as viewed from the skin side. In fig. 2, the opening 40 described later is omitted for convenience of explanation. Fig. 3 is a schematic sectional view taken along line a-a of fig. 2.
The diaper 1 has a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction intersecting each other in the pant-type state of fig. 1. The diaper 1 has a thickness direction which intersects with the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction and is a direction in which materials constituting the diaper 1 are laminated (see fig. 3). In fig. 2, the lateral direction in the developed state (hereinafter, also referred to as "width direction") is synonymous with the lateral direction in the pants-type state in fig. 1. On the other hand, the longitudinal direction in the developed state is a direction along the longitudinal direction in the pants-type state, but the two meanings are somewhat different. Therefore, in the following description, the longitudinal direction in fig. 2 is sometimes referred to as "longitudinal direction in the developed state" or the like as necessary, and is distinguished from the longitudinal direction in the pants state. One side in the longitudinal direction of the diaper 1 in this developed state is also referred to as "the abdomen side", and the other side in the longitudinal direction is also referred to as "the back side". As shown in fig. 3, the side that contacts the wearer in the thickness direction is referred to as the "skin side", and the opposite side is referred to as the "non-skin side".
Here, the "developed" state refers to a state in which the diaper 1 is developed on a plane by unfastening the joining of both ends of the abdomen-side portion (the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 described later) and both ends of the back-side portion (the back-side waistline portion 30 described later) in the lateral direction of the diaper 1, separating the abdomen-side portion and the back-side portion, and opening the diaper 1 in the longitudinal direction thereof. The "stretched state" of the diaper 1 means a state in which the entire diaper 1 (the entire product) is stretched without wrinkles, and specifically, a state in which the dimensions of the respective members constituting the diaper 1 (for example, the absorbent main body 10, the abdomen-side waistline portion 20, the back-side waistline portion 30, and the like described later) are matched with or close to the dimensions of the members alone.
The diaper 1 of the present embodiment is a so-called 3-piece type, and includes an absorbent main body 10 which is placed in contact with the crotch of a wearer and absorbs excreta liquid such as urine, and a waistline portion 2 which is disposed at the waistline of the wearer. The waistline portion 2 has an abdominal-side waistline portion 20 positioned on the abdominal side of the wearer and a back-side waistline portion 30 positioned on the back side of the wearer. The diaper 1 is formed with a waist opening BH and a pair of leg hole openings LH (see fig. 1). The upper side in the longitudinal direction (vertical direction) corresponds to the hip opening BH side, and the lower side corresponds to the crotch side.
In the developed state of fig. 2, the absorbent main body 10 is laid between the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30 in a state of being arranged in parallel with each other with a space in the longitudinal direction (longitudinal direction in the developed state). The abdomen-side waistline portion 20 is fixed to one end of the absorbent main body 10, and the back-side waistline portion 30 is fixed to the other end thereof, and has an external shape of a substantially H shape in a plan view.
From this state, the absorbent main body 10 is folded in half at a position CL at the center of the diaper 1 in the longitudinal direction (that is, the longitudinal direction) (the middle between one end and the other end of the diaper 1 in the longitudinal direction in the unfolded state) as a folded position. When the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30 facing each other in this folded state are joined and connected at the edge portion in the transverse direction, these waistline portions are formed in a ring shape with each other. As a result, the diaper 1 is worn with the waistline opening BH and the pair of leg hole openings LH formed as shown in fig. 1.
As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the absorbent main body 10 includes an absorbent core 11, a top sheet 13 covering the absorbent core 11 from the skin side, and a back sheet 15 covering the absorbent core 11 from the non-skin side and serving as an outer package of the absorbent main body 10. In the present embodiment, the film 17 is disposed on the non-skin side of the absorbent core 11.
The absorbent core 11 is a member formed by laminating liquid absorbent materials, and can absorb excrement such as urine. As the liquid-absorbent material, for example, liquid-absorbent fibers such as pulp fibers and liquid-absorbent particulates such as super absorbent polymers (so-called SAP) can be used. In addition, a liquid-absorbent material other than the liquid-absorbent fibers and the liquid-absorbent particulates may be contained. The absorbent core 11 may be covered with a liquid-permeable sheet (not shown) such as tissue paper.
The absorbent core 11 of the present embodiment has a ventral end 11a as one end in the longitudinal direction of fig. 2 and a dorsal end 11b as the other end. Further, a constricted portion 11c having a width in the lateral direction smaller than the width of the ventral end portion 11a and the dorsal end portion 11b is provided between the ventral end portion 11a and the dorsal end portion 11 b. Thus, the absorbent core 11 has a substantially hourglass shape in plan view as shown in fig. 2.
The top sheet 13 is a liquid-permeable flexible sheet such as a nonwoven fabric, and has a larger planar size than the absorbent core 11. The top sheet 13 has folded portions 13r (see fig. 3) in which both ends in the transverse direction are folded back toward the non-skin side of the absorbent core 11. The back sheet 15 is a soft sheet such as a nonwoven fabric.
The film 17 covers the absorbent core 11 from the non-skin side, and prevents liquid such as urine absorbed by the absorbent core 11 from leaking to the non-skin side. Here, the "film" in the present embodiment refers to a liquid-impermeable and moisture-impermeable resin sheet containing a synthetic resin as a main component, and is a sheet particularly excellent in moisture impermeability, which is made of, for example, polyethylene, polypropylene, or the like. That is, the film 17 is preferably a film having excellent moisture-impermeable property alone. In the present embodiment, the film 17 is disposed between the absorbent core 11 and the backsheet 15, but the film is not limited to this, and may be disposed on the non-skin side of the absorbent core 11 and on the skin side of the skin side sheet 2a described later.
The backsheet 15 is a flexible sheet such as nonwoven fabric, and has a planar dimension protruding from the absorbent body 11 in the longitudinal and transverse directions as shown in fig. 2 and 3. In a state where the absorbent core 11 and the film 17 are sandwiched between the top sheet 13 and the back sheet 15, the back sheet 15 and the film 17 are bonded with an adhesive such as a hot melt adhesive, and the folded portions 13r of the absorbent core 11 and the top sheet 13 are bonded with an adhesive such as a hot melt adhesive, similarly to the film 17.
In addition, in the diaper 1, as shown in fig. 2 and 3, so-called three-dimensional gathers LSG and leg gathers LG are formed by the backsheet 15. The three-dimensional gathers LSG are leakage-proof wall portions provided standing up at each end in the transverse direction of the top sheet 13, while the leg gathers LG are leg stretch portions formed in each leg opening LH of the diaper 1. To describe the backsheet 15 in detail, first, as shown in fig. 3, the backsheet 15 is disposed on the non-skin side of the film 17, and the dimension of the backsheet 15 in the lateral direction is larger than that of the film 17. Then, the back sheet 15 is folded back to the skin side with both ends in the transverse direction with the film 17 interposed therebetween, with the position of the end 10es in the transverse direction of the absorbent main body 10 being the folded-back position (the folded-back portion is referred to as "folded-back portion 15 bg"). A plurality of leg hole elastic members 18 such as rubber threads are fixed to the non-skin side of the folded portion 15bg in a state of being elongated in the longitudinal direction, thereby forming the leg hole gathers LG.
The folded portion 15bg further extends inward (toward the center) in the lateral direction, and is joined to an end portion of the top sheet 13 in the lateral direction at a position covering the end portion. Then, a portion closer to the distal end side in the width direction than the portion joined to the end portion can rise from the top sheet 13 as a free end portion LSGf. Further, an LSG elastic member 19 such as a rubber wire is fixed to the tip end portion of the free end portion LSGf in a state of being elongated in the longitudinal direction. Thus, the absorbent main body 10 is longitudinally curved so that the top sheet 13 side becomes the inner peripheral side by the contraction of the LSG elastic member 19 in the longitudinal direction, but at the time of this bending, the free end portion LSGf is longitudinally contracted and rises from the top sheet 13 by the contraction force imparted from the LSG elastic member 19, and thereby this free end portion LSGf functions as the three-dimensional gather LSG.
Further, as shown in fig. 3, a predetermined interval is provided between the end 17e of the film 17 and the end 15bge outside the folded portion 15bg of the back sheet 15 in the transverse direction. That is, the film 17 does not reach the end 15bge on the outer side of the folded portion 15bg of the backsheet 15 in the transverse direction. The folded portion 15bg of the back sheet 15 is a portion forming the leg-surrounding opening LH, and the tip 15bge of the outer side of the folded portion 15bg in the lateral direction is likely to contact the skin of the wearer, so that if the film 17 reaches the tip 15bge, there is a possibility that the skin is uncomfortable, but by not disposing the film 17 to the tip 15bge, the skin-contacting property can be improved.
< construction of waist body 2 >
As shown in fig. 3, the waistline portion 2 (the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30) includes a skin side sheet 2a disposed on the skin side in the thickness direction, a non-skin side sheet 2b disposed on the non-skin side of the skin side sheet 2a, and a plurality of elastic members 23 and 33. As shown in fig. 2 and fig. 4 described later, the upper end portion of the non-skin side sheet 2b in the longitudinal direction is folded back toward the skin side so as to cover the upper end portion of the skin side sheet 2a and the upper end portion of the absorbent main body 10.
The skin-side sheet 2a and the non-skin-side sheet 2b are flexible sheet members made of nonwoven fabrics such as spun-bonded nonwoven fabrics, heat-sealed nonwoven fabrics, and spun-laced nonwoven fabrics. Examples of the raw material fibers constituting the nonwoven fabric include polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene (PE), and polyethylene terephthalate (PET). In addition, not only a single fiber such as polypropylene or polyethylene but also a composite fiber having a sheath-core structure made of polypropylene or polyethylene can be used.
The plurality of elastic members 23 are elastic members that are stretchable in the transverse direction, are arranged in a vertical direction (longitudinal direction) between the skin side sheet 2a and the non-skin side sheet 2b of the abdominal-side waistline portion 20, and are fixed in a state of being stretched in the transverse direction by an adhesive such as a hot-melt adhesive. Similarly, the plurality of elastic members 33 are elastic members capable of expanding and contracting in the transverse direction, and are disposed in a vertically aligned manner (in the longitudinal direction) between the skin side sheet 2a and the non-skin side sheet 2b of the back-side waistline portion 30, and are fixed in a state of being stretched in the transverse direction by an adhesive such as a hot-melt adhesive. In this way, stretchability is imparted to the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30. Further, as the elastic members 23 and 33, thread-like rubber or the like can be exemplified. In the present embodiment, the elastic members 23 and 33 are provided in discontinuous portions, which will be described later.
Fig. 4 is a schematic plan view of fig. 2 showing a plurality of openings 40. Fig. 5 is a schematic plan view of the diaper 1 in an unfolded and stretched state as viewed from the non-skin side. As shown in fig. 4, a plurality of openings 40 are formed at intervals in the skin side sheet 2a of each of the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30. As shown in fig. 5, a plurality of openings 40 are formed at intervals in the non-skin side sheet 2b of each of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30. A plurality of openings 40 are provided also in the non-skin side surface of the absorbent main body 10 (the non-skin side surface of the chassis 15) at the center portion in the width direction. The plurality of openings 40 improve the air permeability of the diaper 1, and promote the diffusion of moisture to the outside. The shape of the opening 40 is not limited to the circular shape shown in the figure, and may be various shapes. The arrangement of the holes 40 is not limited to the illustrated pattern, and any pattern may be adopted such as being locally provided. In the present embodiment, the opening 40 is provided in both the skin-side sheet 2a and the non-skin-side sheet 2b, but either sheet may have the opening 40.
< concerning the continuous portions 23a, 33a and the discontinuous portions 23b, 33b >
In the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, the elastic members 23(33) are provided in discontinuous portions so as not to contract the absorbent core 11 in the width direction in at least a part of the region where the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 or the back-side waistline portion 30 and the absorbent main body 10 overlap each other when viewed in the thickness direction (direction penetrating the paper surface in fig. 2). In the present embodiment, the discontinuous portion of the elastic member 23 provided in the abdomen-side waist portion 20 is defined as the abdomen-side discontinuous portion 23b, and the discontinuous portion of the elastic member 33 provided in the back-side waist portion 30 is defined as the back-side discontinuous portion 33 b. The arrangement of the ventral discontinuous portion 23b and the dorsal discontinuous portion 33b is not limited to the position shown in fig. 2, and may be arranged so as not to cause the absorbent core 11 to contract in the lateral direction. Here, a continuous portion of the elastic member 23 having a discontinuous portion (the ventral discontinuous portion 23b) is referred to as a ventral continuous portion 23a, and a continuous portion of the elastic member 33 having a discontinuous portion (the dorsal discontinuous portion 33b) is referred to as a dorsal continuous portion 33 a. When the elastic members 23 and 33 are disposed between the skin side sheet 2a and the non-skin side sheet 2b, the elastic members 23 and 33 are not fixed to the parts that become the abdominal-side discontinuous portion 23b and the back-side discontinuous portion 33b with an adhesive, and the elastic members 23 and 33 are cut at the parts that become the abdominal-side discontinuous portion 23b and the back-side discontinuous portion 33 b. Thus, the abdomen-side continuous portion 23a and the back-side continuous portion 33a can be configured not to stretch in the transverse direction (width direction) in the abdomen-side discontinuous portion 23b and the back-side discontinuous portion 33b while maintaining the stretchability. The formation of the front discontinuous portion 23b and the back discontinuous portion 33b is not limited to this, and for example, the elastic members 23 and 33 may be fixed with an adhesive even at the portions that become the front discontinuous portion 23b and the back discontinuous portion 33b, and the elastic members 23 and 33 may be cut (i.e., cut into fine portions) at a plurality of places by pressing or the like at the portions that become the front discontinuous portion 23b and the back discontinuous portion 33b to cancel the stretchability.
In addition, in the ventral discontinuous portion 23b and the dorsal discontinuous portion 33b, strictly speaking, the cut remaining portion continuous from the ventral continuous portion 23a and the dorsal continuous portion 33a of the elastic members 23 and 33 remains in a contracted state to a natural length. Here, "continuous" and "discontinuous" in the elastic members 23 and 33 of the present embodiment mean a portion where the elastic members 23 and 33 can exhibit stretchability in the lateral direction or a portion where stretchability in the lateral direction is not exhibited with respect to each of the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30. That is, the portions where the stretchability in the lateral direction can be exhibited are the front-side continuous portion 23a and the back-side continuous portion 33a, and the portions where the stretchability in the lateral direction is not exhibited by the cutting are the front-side discontinuous portion 23b and the back-side discontinuous portion 33 b.
When the absorbent core 11 absorbs liquid such as urine while the diaper 1 is worn, moisture is released from the absorbent core 11 toward the skin side sheet 2a (non-skin side). Then, the moisture passes through the opening 40 of the skin side sheet 2a, and the fixing force of the elastic members 22 and 23 to the skin side sheet 2a and the non-skin side sheet 2b by the adhesive may be weakened by the influence of the moisture. Alternatively, the stiffness of the skin side sheet 2a or the non-skin side sheet 2b may be weakened by moisture, and breakage or the like may occur. In particular, in the case where the abdomen-side waist portion 20 and the back-side waist portion 30 have the abdomen-side discontinuous portion 23a of the elastic member 23 and the back-side discontinuous portion 33a of the elastic member 33 as in the present embodiment, the adhesive force of the adhesive of the abdomen-side continuous portion 23a and the back-side continuous portion 33a located laterally outside the abdomen-side discontinuous portion 23a and the back-side discontinuous portion 33a is weakened, and there is a possibility that the elastic members 23 and 33 of the abdomen-side continuous portion 23a and the back-side continuous portion 33a may come off.
In this regard, in the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 2 and 3, the laterally inner end 23ae of the ventral continuous portion 23a is located laterally outward of the laterally end 11e of the absorbent core 11. Similarly, the laterally inner end 33ae of the back-side continuous portion 33a is located laterally outward of the laterally end 11e of the absorbent core 11 (see fig. 2). That is, the abdomen-side continuous portion 23a of the elastic member 23 and the back-side continuous portion 33a of the elastic member 33 are not overlapped with the absorbent core 11, and the absorbent core 11 is not contracted in the lateral direction. With such a configuration, even when moisture is discharged from the absorbent core 11 toward the skin side sheet 2a (non-skin side) after the absorbent core 11 has absorbed a liquid such as urine, the moisture can be promoted to be discharged from the absorbent main body 10 to the outside through the skin side sheet 2a, the discontinuous portions 23b (33b) of the elastic members 23(33), and the non-skin side sheet 2 b. By making it difficult for moisture to migrate to the elastic members 23, 33 of the ventral continuous portion 23a and the dorsal continuous portion 33a, the fixing force of the elastic members 23, 33 can be maintained, and the possibility of the elastic members 23, 33 of the ventral continuous portion 23a and the dorsal continuous portion 33a falling off can be reduced.
As shown in fig. 2 or 3, the laterally inner ends 23ae, 33ae of the ventral-side continuous portion 23a and the dorsal-side continuous portion 33a are located laterally inward of the laterally end 10es of the absorbent main body 10. The portions of the end tips 10es in the transverse direction of the absorbent main body 10 in the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30 are portions that follow the curve of the wearer's body when the diaper 1 is worn. Further, the tip 10es in the lateral direction of the absorbent main body 10 is also contracted by contraction of the ventral continuous portion 23a of the elastic member 23 and the dorsal continuous portion 33a of the elastic member 33, and both ends in the lateral direction of the absorbent main body 10 are more firmly brought into contact with the skin along the curve of the wearer's body. This can improve the fit of the diaper 1.
As shown in fig. 3, in the present embodiment, the moisture impermeable film 17 is disposed so that the moisture from the absorbent core 11 is less likely to leak to a position on the non-skin side of the film 17, and the laterally inner end 23ae of the abdomen-side continuous portion 23a is disposed so as to overlap the film 17 when viewed in the thickness direction. More specifically, the adhesive force of the adhesive of the elastic member 23 is weakened by the influence of moisture from the absorbent core 11, and particularly, the portion of the inner end 23ae in the lateral direction of the abdominal-side continuous portion 23a that is cut off may come off, but leakage of moisture to the abdominal-side continuous portion 23a side is suppressed by overlapping the film 17 on the skin side with respect to the inner end 23ae in the lateral direction of the skin-side continuous portion 23 a. This can reduce the possibility of the elastic member 23 of the ventral continuous portion 23a falling off. Fig. 3 and the above description show the ventral continuous portion 23a, but the dorsal continuous portion 33b has the same configuration.
In addition, leg-surrounding elastic members 18 for imparting stretchability are provided in the pair of leg-surrounding openings LH and LH, respectively. In the present embodiment, the portion 17ed of the film 17 extending outward in the transverse direction from the end 11e of the absorbent core 11 in the transverse direction has a portion overlapping the leg elastic members 18 when viewed in the thickness direction (see fig. 2 and 3). Although there is a possibility that the moisture released from the absorbent core 11 may move to the inside of the wearer's thighs through the leg hole openings LH, the film 17 is disposed so as to overlap the leg hole openings LH along the leg hole elastic members 18 of the legs, and thus the moisture is less likely to leak to a position on the non-skin side than the leg hole openings LH. This reduces the possibility of the inner thighs of the wearer becoming stuffy and rash.
As shown in fig. 2, when viewed in the thickness direction (direction passing through the paper of fig. 2), both the end 11a in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent core 11 on the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 side and the end 11b in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent core 11 on the back-side waistline portion 30 side overlap the film 17. Also, the end portion 11a overlaps the discontinuous portion 23b of the elastic member 23 and the end portion 11b overlaps the discontinuous portion 33b of the elastic member 33, also when viewed in the thickness direction. The respective end portions 11a, 11b in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent core 11 are overlapped with such discontinuous portions 23b (33b) of the elastic member 23(33) that the absorbent core 11 does not contract in the transverse direction to the end portions 11a, 11b in the longitudinal direction. That is, in the present embodiment, the absorbent core 11 does not overlap the elastic members 23 and the elastic members 33 in the thickness direction, and the absorbent core 11 does not contract in the lateral direction as a whole, and excellent absorbency can be maintained. In addition, the contraction of the film 17 disposed on the non-skin side of the absorbent core 11 can be suppressed, and the migration of moisture from the absorbent core 11 to the skin side sheet 2a can be suppressed by the non-moisture permeability of the film 17.
As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the diaper 1 of the present embodiment has the elastic members 23 and the portions where the elastic members 33 intersect the leg hole elastic members 18. Specifically, the leg hole elastic member 18 has a portion overlapping with the abdomen-side continuous portion 23a of the elastic member 23 and the back-side continuous portion 33a of the elastic member 33 when viewed in the thickness direction (direction penetrating the paper surface in fig. 2). In this case, the leg hole elastic members 18 and the abdomen-side continuous portion 23a and the back-side continuous portion 33a respectively give stretchability to each other. In general, when excretion is performed while wearing the diaper 1, the absorbent core 11 having absorbed the excretion becomes heavy, the absorbent main body 10 hangs down, and a force stretching downward of the diaper 1 acts on the leg hole elastic members 18. Since the leg hole elastic members 18 are likely to stretch downward, the gap between the legs of the wearer and the leg hole opening LH becomes large, and there is a possibility that excrement may leak out from the gap. However, the leg hole elastic members 18 are supported by the respective elastic members 23, 33 of the waist portion 2 (the abdomen-side waist portion 20 and the back-side waist portion 30) being stretched in the lateral direction in conjunction with the force of stretching the leg hole elastic members 18 downward, and the leg hole elastic members 18 can be suppressed from stretching downward. Thus, even when excretion is performed in the absorbent main body 10 (absorbent core 11), the absorbent main body 10 is less likely to sag, and the occurrence of problems such as leakage of excrement to the outside is easily suppressed.
Fig. 6 is a diagram illustrating one of the plurality of openings 40 of the skin side sheet 2a, which is one of the plurality of openings 40. In the present embodiment, a plurality of openings 40 are provided in the skin side sheet 2a disposed on the side that contacts the skin of the wearer. The hole 40 is formed by inserting a pin from the skin surface side of the skin side sheet 2 a. Since a pin having a tapered shape is used as the pin to be inserted, as shown in fig. 6, the diameter D1 on the skin surface side is larger than the diameter D2 on the non-skin surface side. Further, on the surface (non-skin surface) opposite to the side where the pin is inserted, there is a fiber protrusion (so-called burr) where fibers are gathered and protrude in the thickness direction at the edge portion adjacent to the opening 40, and therefore the shape of the opening 40 on the non-skin surface side is sometimes difficult to see as a circle. Here, the diameter D2 on the non-skin surface side is determined by determining the size of the diameter D1 and the diameter D2 by setting the diameter of a circumscribed circle 40C drawn so as to circumscribe the hole 40 on the non-skin surface side to the diameter D2. In the present embodiment, it is not necessary to obtain a strict diameter, and it is sufficient to confirm a size relationship of the diameters.
By making the diameter D1 of the opening 40 on the skin surface side large, moisture is easily drawn into the opening 40 when moisture such as sweat of the wearer is absorbed from the skin side of the skin side sheet 2 a. Further, since the opening 40 is formed by inserting a pin having a tapered shape, the opening diameter is reduced from the skin surface side toward the non-skin surface side, and the moisture introduced into the opening 40 is promoted to be transferred to the non-skin side by the capillary phenomenon. As a result, the air permeability is improved.
Other embodiments are also possible
While the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the above embodiments are provided to facilitate understanding of the present invention, and the present invention is not to be interpreted in a limiting manner. The present invention can be modified and improved without departing from the gist thereof, and it is needless to say that the present invention includes equivalents thereof.
In the above embodiment, the film 17 is provided on the absorbent main body 10, but there is no limitation to this, and another film different from the film 17 may be provided on the non-skin side of the film 17 and on the skin side of the elastic members 23 and 33. Fig. 7 is a schematic plan view of the diaper 1 in an extended state viewed from the non-skin side, which shows an example of a case where the printed sheet 60 is provided to the diaper 1 of the present embodiment. In fig. 7, the opening 40 is omitted for easy understanding. As a film other than the film 17, a resin sheet which is impermeable to moisture vapor is preferable in the same manner as the film 17, and here, as shown in fig. 7, a printed sheet 60 (a portion shown by a dot pattern in fig. 7) disposed in the center portion in the width direction of the abdomen-side waist portion 20 and the back-side waist portion 30 is exemplified. The printed sheet 60 is, for example, a sheet on which a pattern or the like (not shown) that can be visually recognized from the outside of the diaper 1 is printed. In fig. 7, the printing sheet 60 is disposed so as to overlap the ventral discontinuous portion 23b of the elastic member 23 and the back discontinuous portion 33b of the elastic member 33 when viewed in the thickness direction (direction penetrating the paper surface in fig. 7), but may be disposed so as to overlap the ventral continuous portion 23a or the back continuous portion 33 a. By further providing another film such as the printing sheet 60, it is further suppressed that moisture released from the absorbent core 11 moves to the non-skin side in the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30 after the absorbent core 11 has absorbed a liquid such as urine. This can further reduce the possibility of the adhesive strength of the elastic members 23 and 33 becoming weak.
The skin side sheet 2a and the non-skin side sheet 2b are not limited to the above-described embodiments, and for example, the skin side sheet 2a may be formed of a hydrophobic sheet and the non-skin side sheet 2b may be formed of a hydrophilic sheet. The term "hydrophobic" as used herein means that the liquid does not spread on the surface of the skin side sheet 2a, and the surface of the skin side sheet 2a has a contact angle of more than 90 °. The contact angle is an angle formed by a tangent line of a contour curve of a liquid at an intersection point of the contour curve and a horizontal plane with respect to the horizontal plane in a state where the skin side sheet 2a having the horizontal plane (horizontal surface) is brought into contact with water (liquid droplet) dropped on the horizontal plane. Accordingly, when the contact angle of the skin side sheet 2a is larger than 90 °, it can be said that the sheet has a hydrophobic surface. The sheet having such hydrophobicity is the above-mentioned "hydrophobic sheet". Conversely, if the contact angle is less than 90 °, it is judged that "hydrophilicity" having a high degree of hydrophilicity is high, and the sheet having such hydrophilicity is the "hydrophilic sheet". Such a hydrophobic sheet and hydrophilic sheet may be sheets obtained by subjecting a sheet (such as nonwoven fabric) as a material to a hydrophobic treatment or a hydrophilization treatment to impart hydrophobicity or hydrophilicity. As a result, the moisture in the waistline portion 2 is easily led to the non-skin side by the plurality of open holes 40 and the hydrophobic property of the skin side sheet 2a, and the moisture is absorbed by the hydrophilic property of the non-skin side sheet 2b, so that the moisture transfer to the non-skin side can be promoted, and the air permeability can be improved. This can prevent the skin side sheet 2a from getting stuffy when coming into contact with the skin.
The abdomen-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30 are not limited to the above-described embodiments, and other materials may be further provided. Fig. 8 is a schematic plan view of the diaper 1 in an unfolded and extended state as viewed from the skin side, which shows an example of a case where the thin paper 70 is provided on the back-side waistline portion 30 of the present embodiment. In fig. 8, the opening 40 is omitted for easy understanding. In the diaper 1 shown in fig. 8, as an example, a thin paper 70 (a portion indicated by oblique lines) containing pulp fibers is provided on the non-skin side of the skin side sheet 2a of the back-side waistline portion 30. Further, the tissue 70 and the absorbent core 11 do not overlap when viewed in the thickness direction (in fig. 8, the direction passing through the paper surface). The tissue paper 70 is, for example, a cotton paper sheet or the like. Moisture and humidity of the back-side waistline portion 30 introduced from the plurality of openings 40 of the skin side sheet 2a are absorbed by the tissue paper 70, and therefore, the moisture transfer to the non-skin side is promoted. This can prevent the skin side sheet 2a from getting stuffy when coming into contact with the skin.

Claims (11)

1. An absorbent article having mutually intersecting longitudinal, transverse and thickness directions, the absorbent article comprising:
an absorbent body provided with an absorbent core; and
a waist portion disposed on a waist of a wearer, wherein,
the waist portion has a skin side sheet having a plurality of openings and a non-skin side sheet provided on a non-skin side of the skin side sheet,
an elastic member capable of stretching in the transverse direction is fixed between the skin-side sheet and the non-skin-side sheet with an adhesive in the thickness direction,
the elastic member has a continuous portion that is continuous in the cross direction and a discontinuous portion that is discontinuous in the cross direction,
the laterally inner end of the continuous portion is located at a position that is more laterally outward than the laterally end of the absorbent core.
2. The absorbent article according to claim 1,
the inner end in the lateral direction of the continuous portion is located at a position that is more inward in the lateral direction than the end in the lateral direction of the absorbent main body.
3. The absorbent article according to claim 1 or 2,
a film is disposed on a non-skin side of the absorbent core and on a skin side of the skin side sheet,
the inner end in the transverse direction of the continuous portion is disposed at a position overlapping with the film as viewed in the thickness direction.
4. The absorbent article according to claim 1 or 2,
the absorbent article has a pair of leg hole openings,
a pair of leg hole openings each provided with a leg hole elastic member for imparting stretchability,
has a portion where the continuous portion overlaps with the leg-surrounding elastic member as viewed in the thickness direction.
5. The absorbent article according to claim 1 or 2,
a film is disposed on a non-skin side of the absorbent core and on a skin side of the skin side sheet,
the elastic member is provided on the skin side of the elastic member, and the other film is disposed on the non-skin side of the film.
6. The absorbent article according to claim 1 or 2,
the skin side sheet is composed of a hydrophobic sheet,
the non-skin side sheet is composed of a hydrophilic sheet.
7. The absorbent article according to claim 1 or 2,
a thin paper containing pulp fibers is provided on the non-skin side of the skin side sheet,
the tissue does not overlap the absorbent core when viewed in the thickness direction.
8. The absorbent article according to claim 1 or 2,
in a state where the absorbent article is unfolded and extended,
with respect to some of the plurality of openings of the skin side sheet, a diameter of a skin surface side of the skin side sheet is larger than a diameter of a non-skin surface side of the skin side sheet.
9. The absorbent article according to claim 1 or 2,
the absorbent article has a pair of leg hole openings,
a pair of leg hole openings each provided with a leg hole elastic member for imparting stretchability,
a film is disposed on a non-skin side of the absorbent core and on a skin side of the skin side sheet,
a portion of the film extending from the end in the transverse direction of the absorbent core to the outside in the transverse direction has a portion overlapping with the leg-surrounding elastic members as viewed in the thickness direction.
10. The absorbent article according to claim 1 or 2,
a film is disposed on a non-skin side of the absorbent core and on a skin side of the skin side sheet,
the absorbent main body has a back sheet covering the absorbent core from the non-skin side,
the back sheet is arranged on the non-skin side of the film and has a folded portion for folding back both ends in the transverse direction toward the skin side with the film interposed therebetween,
a predetermined interval is provided between an end of the film and an end of the outside of the folded back portion of the backsheet in the transverse direction.
11. The absorbent article according to claim 1 or 2,
a film is disposed on a non-skin side of the absorbent core and on a skin side of the skin side sheet,
when viewed in the thickness direction of the sheet,
the lengthwise end portions of the absorbent core overlap the film,
the lengthwise end portions of the absorbent core overlap the discontinuous portions of the elastic member.
