Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the following embodiments of the present invention are described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
It should be noted that all expressions using "first" and "second" in the embodiments of the present invention are used for distinguishing two entities with the same name but different names or different parameters, and it should be noted that "first" and "second" are merely for convenience of description and should not be construed as limitations of the embodiments of the present invention, and they are not described in any more detail in the following embodiments.
FIG. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a method for displaying a computer boot process phase according to the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the workflow of the computer startup procedure phase display method of the present invention includes the following steps executed on the computer side: step S1, inserting display instruction codes into the BIOS startup programs of each stage; step S2, responding to the BIOS starting program of each stage to execute the display instruction code, generating the display instruction and sending the display instruction to the stage display equipment; step S3, the phase display device receives a display instruction from the computer; and step S4, executing a corresponding preset nixie tube display program according to the identification in the display instruction, and displaying a corresponding digital code in a nixie tube display screen of the stage display equipment.
In some embodiments, the startup process of the computer generally includes five steps of CPU initialization, memory training, loading a USB drive, loading a hard disk drive, and entering a kernel. In order to display the execution condition of the five steps of the computer starting, the invention provides that a display instruction code is inserted into the BIOS starting program corresponding to the five steps; the display instruction code is used for generating a display instruction with an unused mark and sending the display instruction to the stage display equipment.
In an alternative embodiment, the insertion location of the display instruction code is at the beginning of the BIOS boot program for each phase, thereby enabling a digital display immediately upon entering a certain boot phase. For example: the display is 00 when the CPU initialization is entered, 01 when the memory training is entered, 02 when the USB drive is entered, 03 when the hard disk drive is entered, and 04 when the kernel is entered.
In another alternative embodiment, the instruction code insertion location is shown to be in the middle of the BIOS boot program for each phase. The advantage of this embodiment is that it can be ensured that the display is not performed after the corresponding start-up phase is normally started, thereby ensuring the accuracy of the display.
In some embodiments, the computer startup process phase display method of the present invention further comprises: inserting a finishing instruction code at the end of a BIOS starting program of each stage of the computer side; responding to the BIOS starting program execution completion instruction codes of all stages, generating a completion instruction and sending the completion instruction to the stage display equipment; receiving, by a stage display device, a completion instruction from a computer; executing a preset alarm program according to the completion instruction; in response to the execution of an alarm program, setting a designated pin to be at a high level according to a preset period; and a buzzer connected with the designated pin in the stage display equipment gives an alarm when the designated pin is set to be at a high level. The embodiment combining the above data code display can clearly remind which stage of the computer startup is entered and whether the startup of the stage is normally completed.
In an alternative embodiment, the alarm program would generate high signals at 0.5 second intervals and newspaper for two cycles (i.e., 1 second each).
The computer starting process stage display method is beneficial to analyzing and positioning the faults of the mainboard, and further improves the reliability of the safety computer.
