The message display provided by the embodiment of the present application is described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings through specific embodiments and application scenarios thereof.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a message display method provided in an embodiment of the present application, and as shown in fig. 1, the method includes the following steps:
step 101, in case of receiving a first input, determining a target area associated with a first application, the target area including application icons of M second applications.
Wherein M is a positive integer.
The first input is used for setting a display mode of a message of a first application to be a target display mode, the target display mode is that a target message is displayed in a display area associated with an application icon of a second application, and the target message is: the message of part or all of the content of the message received by the first application, or the reminding message corresponding to the message received by the first application. The target display mode may host a message of one application on an application icon of another application.
The first input may be a voice input, a gesture input, a touch input, or the like. The touch input may be a click input, a drag input, a slide input, a long press input, or the like.
The first input may be one operation or a plurality of operations that are sequentially continuous.
For example, the first input may include an operation of long-pressing the first application and then an operation of dragging the application icon of the first application to the application icon of the second application.
For another example, the first input may be an operation of sliding from an application icon of the first application to an application icon of the second application.
For another example, the first input may include an operation of long-pressing an application icon of the first application, clicking a control on a pop-up menu, and a series of operations for selecting a target area associated with the first application.
For another example, the first input may be an input to a target control associated with the first application for setting a display mode of a message of the first application to a target display mode.
In the event that the first input is received, a target area associated with the first application may be determined, the target area including application icons of the M second applications. In an alternative embodiment, the target area may be a display area of application icons of one second application, and in another alternative embodiment, the target area may also be a display area including a plurality of application icons of the second application.
The first application may be a system setting application or a function application, and the second application may be a system setting application or a function application, which is not specifically limited herein. The size of the application icon of the second application may be larger than the size of the application icon of the first application, or may be smaller than or equal to the size of the application icon of the first application, and is not particularly limited herein.
The determination of the target area may also include multiple manners, for example, a display area specified by the first input may be determined as the target area according to the first input. For another example, a display area of a second application previously associated with a first application may be determined as a target area depending on the first application. For example, the system may also automatically determine the second application, and determine, as the target area, a display area of an application icon of the second application, where the usage frequency is greater than the first threshold and/or the usage time is greater than the second threshold.
In addition, the display modes of the messages of the plurality of first applications may be set simultaneously by the first input, for example, two application icons of the first applications may be long-pressed with two fingers and dragged to an application icon of the second application. For another example, a plurality of first applications may be associated in advance, and when an application icon of one first application is dragged onto an application icon of a second application, the display modes of the messages of the associated plurality of first applications may be set at the same time.
Step 102, displaying a target message in the target area under the condition that the first application receives the message, wherein the target message is as follows: the message comprises part or all of the content of the message received by the first application, or the reminding message corresponding to the message received by the first application.
In this step, the content of the message received by the first application may be a text, a picture, a video, or the like, which is not specifically limited herein.
The message of the first application sent by the server may be received, and the message of the first application sent by another terminal may also be received, which is not specifically limited herein.
Correspondingly, when the first application receives the message, the whole content of the message may be displayed in the target area, or a part of the content of the message may be displayed in the target area, where the part of the content may be a key content such as a title of the message, or a reminder message corresponding to the message may be displayed in the target area, such as a sending message of the message, and at this time, the reminder message may be "a certain sent message, please view quickly", which is not specifically limited herein.
The target message may be displayed in a part or all of the display area of the application icon of the second application, may be displayed in a blank area of the target area, and may be displayed in a display area including the display area of the application icon of the second application and the display area of the blank area in the target area, which is not particularly limited herein.
In an alternative embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, the target area is a display area 201 of an application icon of the second application, and the display area 201 may be an area within the size range of the application icon of the second application, and a title of a message received by the first application is displayed in a part of the display area in the display area 201. Additionally, a small icon 202 may be dropped around the application icon of the second application as a drawer handle, and the icon 202 may be the application icon of the first application to prompt the user that the message received by the first application may be displayed in the display area of the application icon of the second application.
Messages of a plurality of applications can be displayed in the display area of the application icon of the second application, and a plurality of applications can be respectively arranged on the application icon of the second application, as shown in fig. 3, two applications, namely application 1 and application 3, are arranged on the application icon of the second application, namely application 2, and a small icon 301 (corresponding to application 1) and 302 (corresponding to application 3) respectively leaks out above and below the application icon of application 2 to serve as a drawer handle.
When the application 1 and the application 3 receive the messages, the application icon and the target message of the application 1 can be displayed alternately or in a superposed manner in the corresponding areas, and the application icon and the target message of the application 3 can be displayed alternately or in a superposed manner, and meanwhile, the priority of the messages of different applications, the priority of different types of messages of one application and the area size of the display area of the message occupying the display area of the application icon of the application 2 can be set by a user. As shown in fig. 4 and 5, an application icon 401 of the application 1 and a title of a message received by the application 1 are alternately displayed in a lower portion display area of the application icon of the application 2, and an application icon 402 of the application 3 and a reminder message corresponding to the message received by the application 3 are alternately displayed in an upper portion display area of the application icon of the application 2.
It should be noted that the target message of the first application and the application icon of the second application may be displayed in an overlapping manner in the target area, that is, the target message may be displayed in an overlapping manner on the application icon of the second application.
Further, as shown in fig. 6, when the user clicks the application icon of the application 1 or clicks the target message, the application 1 may be started and jump to the landing page of the message, and the target message in the display area of the application icon of the second application is no longer displayed.
In another alternative embodiment, as shown in fig. 7, the target area 701 includes a plurality of display areas of application icons of the second application, and also includes a blank area between the plurality of application icons, which is a rectangular area composed of the display areas of the application icons of the second application and the blank area therebetween, and in the target area 701, within the display area 702 including the display areas of the application icons and the blank area of the second application, the target message may be displayed.
Optionally, the display content of the message received by the first application may be displayed, as shown in fig. 7, the message is a video, and the video may be displayed in the display area 702, so that the display of messages in different forms may be implemented by using a large area of multiple applications, and the notification form is richer and more flexible.
In addition, to prevent the user from being unable to click on the application icon of the second application, when the message received by the first application is displayed, the message may not completely overlap, i.e., not completely overlap, the application icon of the second application.
The target message can be displayed in the target area immediately when the first application receives the message, or can be displayed in the target area within a preset time period before the historical preferred use time of the second application, for example, the user usually clicks an application icon of the application 2 at noon (for example, 12:00-12:30) to use the application 2, in this case, the target message corresponding to the application 1 can be displayed on the application icon of the application 2 at 11:50, so that the user can pay attention to the target message when using the application 2, thereby improving the display timeliness of the message and improving the click rate of the message.
In this embodiment, a target area associated with a first application is determined by receiving a first input, where the target area includes application icons of M second applications; under the condition that the first application receives a message, displaying a target message in the target area, wherein the target message is as follows: the message comprises part or all of the content of the message received by the first application, or the reminding message corresponding to the message received by the first application. In this way, the target message corresponding to the first application is displayed in a targeted area including the application icons of the M second applications in a targeted manner, so that the user can pay attention to the target message corresponding to the first application when paying attention to the application icon of the second application, and the notification effect of the application message can be improved.
Optionally, in a case that M is equal to 1, a size of the application icon of the second application is larger than a size of the application icon of the first application;
in the case that M is greater than 1, the size of the application icon of the second application is less than or equal to the size of the application icon of the first application.
In this embodiment, when M is equal to 1, the target area is a display area of the application icon of the second application, in which case the size of the application icon of the second application is larger than that of the application icon of the first application, and in this case, the target area may refer to an area within the size range of the application icon of the second application. Therefore, a large display area can be determined to display the target message corresponding to the first application, the notification limitation of the application message is broken, the notification flexibility of the application message is improved, and meanwhile, the utilization rate of the large application icon can be improved.
In the case where M is greater than 1, the target area is a display area including application icons of a plurality of second applications, in which case the size of the application icon of each second application is smaller than or equal to the size of the application icon of the first application. Therefore, the target message corresponding to the first application can be displayed by utilizing the large display area formed by the display areas of the application icons, the notification limitation of the application message is broken, the notification flexibility of the application message is improved, and meanwhile, the display of messages in different forms, such as characters, pictures or videos, can be realized, so that the notification form is rich and flexible.
Optionally, step 101 specifically includes:
determining a first display area as the target area when the first input associating the application icon of a first application with the application icons of M second applications is received, wherein the first display area is the display area of the application icon of the second application when M is 1, and the first display area displays the application icons of the M second applications when M is larger than 1;
determining a second display area as the target area when a first operation and a second operation are sequentially received, wherein the first operation is an operation on an application icon of a first application, the second operation is an operation on the second display area on which application icons of at least two second applications are displayed, and the first input comprises the first operation and the second operation;
determining a third display area of application icons of the M second applications pre-associated with a first application to be the target area in the case of receiving a first input to the target object;
under the condition that a first input to a target object is received, determining a fourth display area for displaying history messages of a first application as the target area, wherein application icons of the M second applications are displayed in the fourth display area;
determining, as the target area, a fifth display area of the application icons of the M second applications for which usage information satisfies a preset condition in a case where a first input to the target object is received, where the usage information satisfies the preset condition includes: the usage frequency is greater than a first threshold and/or the usage time is greater than a second threshold;
the target object is an application icon of the first application or a target control related to the first application.
In this embodiment, as shown in fig. 8, in an optional embodiment, a user may select a first application, long-press and move an application icon 801 of the first application, and may drag the application icon 801 of the first application onto an application icon 802 of a second application, that is, the application icon 801 of the first application is associated with the application icon 802 of the second application, and the application icon 802 of the second application may be larger than the application icon 801 of the first application.
In this case, when the application icon of the first application is near the bottom edge of the large application icon of the second application at the top left, an animation may appear at the bottom of the application icon of the second application, stretching out an icon drawer, as shown in fig. 9. The user may drag the application icon of the first application into the icon drawer, which extends back after releasing the hand, leaving only a small icon as a drawer handle, as shown in fig. 10.
Accordingly, the display area of the application icon of the second application may be determined as the target area. Thus, a large display area can be determined to display the target message corresponding to the first application, and thus, messages of one application or a plurality of applications can be parasitic on an application icon of another application.
In another optional embodiment, the user may slide in sequence from the application icon of the first application, and during the sliding process, the display area formed by the application icons of the plurality of second applications selected by the sliding may be determined as the target area.
In yet another alternative embodiment, as shown in fig. 11, the first operation may be performed by long-pressing the application icon of the first application, and then a menu 1101 appears, and a "hack" button on the menu 1101 is clicked to enter a hack setting mode for setting the display mode of the application message to the target display mode. Clicking on the blank between application icons automatically displays a rectangular area, as shown in fig. 12, where the rectangular area 1201 may include application icons that the user presses long around the blank location.
Thereafter, the user may adjust the rectangular area, and as shown in fig. 13, the user may drag the edge of the rectangular area to adjust the length and width of the rectangular area, thereby adjusting the area of the display area. Finally, when the user determines the display area, the user can execute the second operation by pressing the rectangular area for a long time (at this time, the rectangular area is the second display area), and pop up a menu, which includes a control, and when the control is clicked to confirm the hack, the target display mode is successfully set, and the rectangular area disappears. Accordingly, the second display area may be determined as the target area.
In this way, messages of one application can be parasitic on application icons of a plurality of applications.
In yet another alternative embodiment, the user may perform the first input on the application icon of the first application or the target control related to the first application, and accordingly, may acquire M second applications pre-associated with the first application, and determine the third display areas of the application icons of the M second applications as the target areas. Therefore, the parasitic second application in the target display mode is automatically selected, and dynamic intelligent notification is realized.
In yet another alternative embodiment, the user may perform the first input on an application icon of the first application or a target control associated with the first application, and accordingly, may determine a fourth display area for presenting history messages of the first application as the target area. For example, the history message of the first application is previously displayed on the application icon of the second application, and when the user needs to set the target display mode of the message of the first application again, the message display apparatus may determine the display area of the application icon of the second application as the target area by default. In this way, displaying the target message corresponding to the first application in the target area may match the reading usage habit of the user on the history message of the first application.
Wherein, the history message may refer to: the message received by the first application before the last exit from the target display mode set for the first application. For example, before the target display mode set for the first application is exited for the last time, the message of the first application is usually displayed in the fourth display area. Accordingly, after exiting the target display mode, when the target display mode of the first application is set again, the fourth display area may be automatically determined as the target area.
In yet another alternative embodiment, the user may perform a first input on an application icon of the first application or a target control associated with the first application, and accordingly, determine as the target area fifth display areas of application icons of M second applications having a frequency of use greater than a first threshold and/or a time of use greater than a second threshold. Therefore, the message received by the first application is displayed in the target area, and the click rate of the message can be improved.
Optionally, M is equal to 1, and step 103 specifically includes:
determining a first target display area in the target area, wherein the first target display area is a partial display area of an application icon of the second application;
and displaying a target message and an application icon of the first application in the first target display area alternately or in an overlapping manner.
In this embodiment, the target message may be displayed in the partial display area of the application icon of the second application, for example, the key content of the message or the reminder message corresponding to the message may be displayed in the partial display area of the application icon of the second application, and when the key content of the message is displayed, the message may be played in a scrolling manner.
The first target display area may be determined within the target area according to the associated position indicated by the first input, for example, when the user drags the application icon of the first application from below to the application icon of the second application, the associated position is a lower position of the application icon of the second application, and the lower display area in the display area of the application icon of the second application is determined as the first target display area. Alternatively, a preset display region in the target region may be determined as the first target display region.
Accordingly, the target message is displayed in the first target display area. In an alternative embodiment, the target message and the application icon of the first application may be alternately displayed in the first target display area, and in another alternative embodiment, the target message and the application icon of the first application may be displayed in the first target display area in an overlapping manner, that is, the target message and the application icon of the first application are simultaneously displayed.
Therefore, messages of one application or a plurality of applications can be parasitic on the application icon of another application, so that a user can pay attention to the target message corresponding to the first application when paying attention to the application icon of the second application, and the notification effect of the application messages can be improved.
Optionally, M is greater than 1, and step 103 specifically includes:
determining a second target display area in the target area, wherein the second target display area is at most partially overlapped with a display area of an application icon of a target application, and the target application is any one of the M second applications;
displaying a target message in the second target display area.
In this embodiment, the second target display area may be determined in the target area, and the determination principle is that the use of the application icon of the second application by the user is not affected, so that the second target display area and the display area of the application icon of the target application cannot be completely overlapped, but only can be at most partially overlapped, including non-overlapped or partially overlapped.
In an alternative embodiment, the second target display area may be a display area of each of the M second applications that partially overlaps, as shown in fig. 7, so that the user's use of the application icons of the second applications may not be affected while the display of the target messages is maximized.
Accordingly, the target message is displayed in the second target display area, so that the message of one application can be parasitic on the application icons of a plurality of applications.
In an alternative embodiment, the presentation content of the message may be displayed in the second target display area. Therefore, the content display of different forms of messages, such as characters, pictures or videos, can be realized by utilizing the large display area formed by the application display areas, and the notification form is richer and more flexible.
Optionally, step 103 specifically includes:
acquiring historical preference use time corresponding to the M second applications;
displaying a target message in the target area within a preset time period before the historical preferred usage time.
In this embodiment, the historical preferred usage time may be understood as the time that the user typically uses the M second applications, such as for application 2, the user typically uses between 12:00 and 12:30 at noon. The historical preferred usage time may be one or more, and is not limited herein.
The target message may be displayed in the target area within a preset time period before the historical preference use time, and the preset time period may be set according to actual situations, and is not specifically limited herein.
