Furthermore, in the description and claims, "and/or" means at least one of the connected objects, and the character "/", generally means that the associated object is an "or" relationship.
The method for managing application icons provided in the embodiment of the present application is described in detail below through specific embodiments and application scenarios thereof with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating steps of a method for managing application icons according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the method may be applied to an electronic device, as shown in fig. 1, and the method includes:
step 101, a first input to a first application icon is received.
Step 102, in response to the first input, adjusting the size of the first application icon from a first size to a second size, wherein the second size is larger than the first size, and the first application icon has a folder icon attribute when the size of the first application icon is the second size.
Step 103, receiving a second input of a second application icon and the first application icon by a user.
And 104, responding to the second input, and displaying a first identifier at a target position of the first application icon, wherein the first identifier is used for indicating a first folder, and the first folder comprises the second application icon.
In the step 101, the first input may be a touch input to the first application icon, including but not limited to a single click, a double click, a long press, a sliding or dragging input, etc.
For example, to distinguish from the existing touch input, in some embodiments, the first input may include a long press and drag operation, and the user may first press the first application icon for a long time, so that the first application icon enters a resizing mode, and drag an edge of the first application icon, so that the size of the first application icon is resized from the first size to the second size.
Of course, in other alternative embodiments, the first input may be a voice input or a gesture input of the user for the first application icon, and the step 102 is triggered in a contactless manner when the user is not convenient to touch the electronic device.
Typically, in the use scenario of an electronic device, the individual application icon sizes of the system desktop often remain consistent. In the embodiment of the application, as shown in fig. 2, a plurality of application icons with different sizes may be present on the system desktop of the electronic device, and by arranging the application icons with different sizes on the system desktop, a brand new visual effect may be created for the system desktop, that is, the aesthetic property of the display of the desktop of the electronic device may be enhanced.
In this way, in some application scenarios, the user can increase the size of the application icon corresponding to the application program with higher use frequency in each application icon of the system desktop, so that the user can find and start the application program with higher use frequency conveniently.
Specifically, in order to make the application icons have a certain hierarchy, if the size of the application icon with the smallest size is defined as 1*1, the size of the other application icon may be 1*2, 2*1, or 2×2. Referring to fig. 2, if the sizes of the application icons C to F in fig. 2 are defined as 1*1, the sizes of the application icon H and the application icon I may be 2*1, and the sizes of the application icons A, B, G and J may be 2×2. That is, the sizes of the application icons of different sizes may have an integer multiple relationship with the size of the application icon of the smallest size to increase the cleanliness and order of the system desktop.
The first size may be the smallest application icon size, such as 1*1. The second size may be any size larger than the first size, for example 1*2, 2*1 or 2×2, and may be specifically set according to practical needs.
Based on the application, the embodiment of the application can provide a new application icon management mode aiming at application icons with different sizes. In the case that the user adjusts the size of the first application icon from the first size to the second size through the first input, the first application icon may have a folder icon attribute.
It should be understood that the folder icon attribute may be understood that the first application icon has a function of storing the application icon in the folder icon. Specifically, for the first application icon, in the case that the size of the first application icon is the second size, the electronic device may create a database associated with the first application icon, and the first application icon may be associated with at least one application icon, so that icon information of the application icon is stored in the database corresponding to the first application icon.
The database is used for storing the icon information of the application icons, and the database and the first folders have a one-to-one correspondence, and the application icons are added into the first folders corresponding to the first application icons at the moment. When receiving the user input, the electronic device can call the database to acquire the application icon information in the database corresponding to the first application icon, thereby displaying the application icon contained in the folder.
Meanwhile, the electronic device may also execute, according to the user input, related processing corresponding to the first application icon, for example, running an application program of the first application icon, uninstalling an application program of the first application icon, and so on.
In summary, when the first application icon is of the second size, the first application icon has both an application icon attribute and a folder icon attribute, and the user can implement an operation on an application program corresponding to the first application icon or a first folder corresponding to the first application icon through different inputs to the first application icon.
In the steps 103 and 104, the user may associate the second application icon with the first application icon by a second input of the second application icon and the first application icon. The second input may be a touch input of the user, or may be a voice input or a gesture input, etc., and may specifically be set according to an actual situation. For example, referring to fig. 3A and 3B or fig. 5A and 5B, the user may implement association of the second application icon with the first application icon by moving the second application icon to the first application icon. In order to avoid misoperation, the electronic device may add the second application icon to the first folder when detecting that the overlapping area of the second application icon and the first application icon is greater than or equal to a preset area.
In the above case, the second application icon originally located on the system desktop may be stored in the first folder corresponding to the first application icon, so that the user may sort the system desktop by executing the second input on the second application icon and the first application icon. Therefore, the first application icons can still be displayed on the system desktop, and the second application icons are stored in the first folders corresponding to the first application icons, so that the number of application icons on the system desktop is reduced.
After that, in order to remind the user that the second application icon exists in the first folder corresponding to the first application icon, the electronic device may display a first identifier on the first application icon, where the first identifier indicates the first folder. It may be appreciated that the first identifier may be an interactable control and indicate a first folder corresponding to the first application icon. Thus, when the user performs input on the first identifier, the electronic device can display the application icon included in the first folder, so that the user can acquire the second application icon in the first folder.
It should be noted that, the electronic device may further add other application icons to the first folder corresponding to the first application icon according to the user performing the same input as the second application icon on the other application icons.
The target position may be a preset position, and for example, referring to fig. 3A, an upper right corner of the application icon J in fig. 3A may be displayed with the first identifier.
In some application scenarios, a user may determine, according to the frequency of use, an application icon with a higher frequency of use among a plurality of application programs of the same class as the first application icon through input of the user, and determine the remaining application icons with a lower frequency of use as the second application icon, so that application icons of other application programs of the same class can be obtained through second input of the first application icon. The method and the device have the advantages that the number of application icons on the desktop of the system is reduced, meanwhile, the user can conveniently execute the operation of the application programs corresponding to the first application icons, management of the application icons is layering, and the use experience of the user is improved.
In this embodiment of the present application, the electronic device may receive a first input to a first application icon, and adjust a size of the first application icon from a first size to a second size in response to the first input, where the first application icon has a folder icon attribute when the size of the first application icon is the second size. In this way, when the electronic device receives the second input of the second application icon and the first application icon, the first identifier indicating the first folder can be displayed at the target position of the first application icon in response to the second input, the first folder comprises the second application icon, and the user can display the second application icon through the input of the first identifier, so that the first application icon has the function of accommodating other application icons by changing the size of the first application icon, layering management of the application icons is realized while the number of application icons on the desktop of the system is reduced, and convenience of application icon interaction operation is improved.
Optionally, after the step 104, the method may further include:
receiving a third input of a user to the first identifier;
in response to the third input, a list of application icons is displayed, the list of application icons including the second application icon.
In this embodiment of the present application, the third input is similar to the first input and the second input, and may be a touch input, a voice input, a gesture input, or the like. In a specific implementation, the third input may be a click operation of the first identifier by the user. When the electronic device receives the third input, the application icon list may be displayed according to the first input, and the application icon list may include the second application icon in the folder indicated by the first identifier. For example, if the size of the first application icon is the second size, the electronic device may create a database associated with the first application icon, and after the user performs the second input, the icon information of the second application icon may be stored in the database. After the user performs the third input, the electronic device may call the database, and display the application icon list according to icon information stored in the database. And when the user clicks the target icon in the application icon list, the application program corresponding to the target icon can be run.
It should be noted that, the electronic device may detect, in real time, whether application icon information exists in the database corresponding to each application icon with the second size, if so, the identifier indicating the folder may be displayed on the application icon with the second size, and if not, the identifier may not be displayed.
It may be appreciated that, in a case where the electronic device receives an input from the user on the first application icon, where the area other than the first identifier is the remaining area, an operation associated with the input may be performed on the first application icon, for example, starting an application corresponding to the first application icon or moving the first application icon.
As can be seen from the above, the electronic device may further add other application icons to the folder corresponding to the first application icon according to the user performing the same input as the second application icon on the other application icons.
Therefore, the application icon list may include the second application icon and other application icons added to the folder corresponding to the first application icon, and may be displayed together according to the third input of the user.
The display mode of the application icon list can be set according to actual needs. For example, in a specific embodiment, referring to fig. 3B, the application icon list may be displayed below the first identifier in a pull-down list manner. In other optional embodiments, the application icon list may also be displayed in a newly created page of the electronic device.
It may be understood that the above application icon list may include icon information of the second application icon, or may include information such as an application name corresponding to the second application icon, so that a user may determine, in the application icon list, the second application icon that needs to perform an operation.
In the embodiment of the present application, when the electronic device receives the third input of the first identifier, the second application icon may be displayed by an application icon list. Thus, when the electronic device receives the input to the first application icon and the other areas except the first identifier, the electronic device can execute the operation for the first application icon, and different operations for the first application icon or the second application icon are respectively realized by dividing different interaction areas on the first application icon, so that convenience in interaction can be improved. Meanwhile, the second application icons are displayed in the form of an application icon list, so that the application icons can be displayed more conveniently, and the application icon list can also contain more information, so that a user can confirm the second application icons needing to be operated conveniently.
Optionally, the step 104 may specifically include:
detecting a size of the first application icon and the second application icon in response to the second input;
and displaying the first mark at the target position of the first application icon under the condition that the size of the first application icon is larger than or equal to a preset threshold value and the size of the second application icon is smaller than the preset threshold value, wherein the preset threshold value is smaller than or equal to the second size.
In this embodiment of the present application, since the size of the first application icon may be smaller than the size of the first application icon, the user may store the small icon in the folder corresponding to the large icon by dragging the small icon to the large icon.
Specifically, the electronic device may first detect the sizes of the first application icon and the second application icon when receiving the second input of the user to the second application icon and the first application icon. And adding the second application icon into a first folder corresponding to the first application icon under the condition that the size of the first application icon is larger than or equal to a preset threshold value and the size of the second application icon is smaller than the preset threshold value, and displaying the first identifier at the target position of the first application icon.
The preset threshold may be smaller than or equal to the second size, for example, if the second size is 2×2, the preset threshold may also be 2×2, and when the electronic device detects that the size of the first application icon is greater than or equal to 2×2 and the size of the second application icon is smaller than 2×2, the electronic device may add the second application icon to the first folder corresponding to the first application icon, and display the first identifier at the target position of the first application icon.
If the size of the first application icon is smaller than 2×2, the electronic device may execute the existing process of creating the folder and storing the first application icon and the second application icon in the folder. If the size of the second application icon is greater than or equal to 2×2, the electronic device may further detect whether the application icon is also in the folder corresponding to the second application icon, so as to execute the subsequent operation.
In this way, after the electronic device receives the second input, the sizes of the first application icon and the second application icon are detected, so that the small icon is stored in the folder corresponding to the large icon, and therefore a user can manage application icons with different sizes by adjusting the sizes of the application icons, and convenience in interaction is further improved.
Optionally, after the step 104, the method may further include:
receiving a fourth input of a user to a third application icon and the first application icon, wherein the size of the third application icon is larger than or equal to the second size;
and responding to the fourth input, and displaying the first application icon and the third application icon in a layered manner in a display area of the first application icon.
As can be seen from the above, in the electronic device, when the size of the application icon is the second size, the application icon may have the folder icon attribute. In this embodiment of the present application, for the user input of two application icons having folder icon attributes, for example, the user input of the fourth input of the first application icon and the third application icon, the electronic device may respond to the fourth input to display the first application icon and the third application icon in a stacked manner in a display area of the original first application icon.
After the first application icon and the third application icon are displayed in a stacked manner, the first application icon and the third application icon have a hierarchical relationship, that is, the application icon at the upper layer is an icon capable of performing an interactive operation, and the application icon at the lower layer is an icon incapable of performing an interactive operation. The electronic device may further adjust the hierarchical relationship of the first application icon and the third application icon by receiving an input from a user.
For example, referring to fig. 4A to fig. 4C, if the application icon J is the first application icon in fig. 4A, the display sizes of the application icon G and the application icon J are both 2×2, and the application icon G is the third application icon, the user may move the application icon G onto the application icon J, and when detecting that the overlapping area of the application icon G and the application icon J is greater than the preset area, the electronic device may layer and display the application icon G and the application icon J as in fig. 4C.
In the embodiment of the application, the electronic device can display the two application icons with the folder icon attribute in a stacked manner through the input of the user, so that the occupation of the application icons on the desktop of the system is reduced, and the folder attributes of the first application icon and the third application icon are reserved.
Alternatively, the lamination positional relationship of the first application icon and the third application icon may also be determined according to the difference of the inputs. Illustratively, dragging the first application icon onto the third application icon, wherein the first application icon is positioned on the upper layer of the third application icon; and if the third application icon is dragged to the first application icon, the third application icon is positioned on the upper layer of the first application icon.
Optionally, in response to the fourth input, displaying the first application icon and the third application icon in a layered manner in a display area of the first application icon includes:
Displaying the first application icon in a third size in a display area of the first application icon in response to the fourth input;
displaying the third application icon in a fourth size at a first position of the first application icon, wherein the fourth size is smaller than the third size;
displaying a second identifier at a second position of the first application icon, wherein the second identifier is used for indicating a second folder, and the second folder comprises at least one fourth application icon associated with the third application icon.
In the embodiment of the present application, the step of displaying the first application icon and the third application icon in a stacked manner may include displaying the first application icon in a third size in a display area of the first application icon, and then displaying the third application icon in a fourth size in a first position of the first application icon.
It is understood that the third size may be the same as the second size, that is, the first application icon may be displayed in the original size, where the size of the display area of the first application icon is unchanged. Of course, the size of the display area of the first application icon may be changed according to the size relationship between the second size and the third size, that is, in the case that the size of the third size is different from the size of the second size, the size of the display area of the first application icon may be adjusted from the original second size to the third size, and the first application icon may be displayed in the third size.
After the step of displaying the first application icon with the third size, or while displaying the first application icon with the third size, the electronic device may display the third application icon with the fourth size at the first position of the first application icon and display the second identifier at the second position of the first application icon. In this case, the first application icon and the third application icon have a hierarchical relationship, the third application icon and the second identifier are displayed on an upper layer or a foreground, and a user can input the third application icon and the second identifier. The first application icon is displayed in a lower layer or background, so that misoperation is avoided, a user cannot input the first application icon at the moment, and meanwhile, the first identifier of the first application icon can be displayed in a hidden mode.
Similarly to the above embodiment, the second identifier may indicate a second folder corresponding to the third application icon, and the second folder may include at least one fourth application icon associated with the third application icon, so that when the user performs input on the second identifier, the electronic device may display the at least one fourth application icon in the form of an application icon list.
The fourth size of the third application icon after the cascade display may be smaller than the third size of the first application icon, so as to indicate that the third application icon and the first application icon are cascade display, and meanwhile, the user may be enabled to learn information of the first application icon displayed under the third application icon.
The first position and the second position can be set according to actual needs. For example, referring to fig. 4C, the third application icon may be displayed at a lower left corner of the first application icon and the second logo may be displayed at an upper right corner of the first application icon in fig. 4C. Of course, in other alternative embodiments, the second identifier may also be displayed at a preset position of the third application icon, which is not described herein.
It can be understood that the electronic device may also add at least one application icon to the second folder corresponding to the third application icon that is located at the upper layer, i.e., the foreground display, according to the input of the user. For example, the application icon is added to the second folder by dragging the application icon to the second identifier.
In the embodiment of the application, the electronic device may display the first application icon with the third size, and display the third application icon with the fourth size at the first position of the first application icon, and because the fourth size is smaller than the third size, when two application icons with the folder icon attribute are displayed in a stacked manner, the sizes of the foreground and the background display icons can be adjusted adaptively, so that a user can learn the application icons located in the background. Meanwhile, the user can acquire the fourth application icon in the second folder corresponding to the third application icon positioned at the foreground through the input of the second identifier, so that the use experience of the user is improved.
Optionally, after the step of displaying the first application icon and the third application icon in a layered manner in the display area of the first application icon, the method further includes:
receiving a fifth input of a user to the third application icon;
in response to the fifth input, resizing the third application icon to the third size and displaying the first application icon at the fourth size in a third position of the third application icon;
and displaying a third identifier at a fourth position of the third application icon, wherein the third identifier is used for indicating the first folder.
In the embodiment of the present application, the electronic device may switch the display levels of the first application icon and the third application icon according to a fifth input of the user. The fifth input may be a touch input of the user, for example, a slide, a long press, or a double click operation performed on the third application icon by the user. After the electronic device receives the fifth input of the user to the third application icon, the size of the third application icon may be adjusted to be the third size, and the fourth application icon is displayed in the fourth size at the third position of the third application icon, that is, the first application icon is switched to the upper layer or the foreground display, and the third application icon is switched to the lower layer or the background display. At this time, the second mark may be displayed hidden.
Similarly, a third identifier may be displayed at a fourth location of the third application icon, where the third identifier may indicate a first folder corresponding to the first application icon, so that the user may obtain the second application icon in the first folder when performing input on the third identifier.
It can be understood that the electronic device may also add at least one application icon to the first folder corresponding to the first application icon that is located at the upper layer, i.e., the foreground display, according to the input of the user. For example, the application icon is added to the first folder by dragging the application icon to the third identifier.
In this embodiment of the present invention, the electronic device may switch the display levels of the first application icon and the third application icon that are displayed in a stacked manner according to the fifth input of the user, so that the user may execute the input of the first application icon and the third identifier that are displayed in the lower layer or the background, which further improves the convenience of interaction.
Optionally, after the step 104, the method may further include:
receiving a sixth input of a user to the first application icon;
and in response to the sixth input, displaying the second application icon in a display area of the first application icon.
In this embodiment of the present application, the second application icon included in the first folder may be hidden behind the first application icon. The sixth input may be a sliding input, and the user may trigger display of the second application icon by sliding input of the first application icon.
Specifically, referring to fig. 5A to 5B, the sixth input may be a touch operation of sliding from the first position to the second position of the first application icon. After the electronic device receives the sixth input, the second application icon may be displayed in the display area of the first application icon in response to the sixth input. It can be appreciated that the display size of the second application icon may be adaptively adjusted so as to facilitate display in the display area of the first application icon.
As can be seen from the above, the application icons with different display sizes may have an integer multiple relationship with the application icon with the smallest display size, and therefore, when other application icons are further included in the first folder, the display area of the first application icon may display a plurality of application icons. Since the display area of the first application icon is limited, in this embodiment of the present application, the number of application icons in the first folder may have a maximum value, and the maximum value may be set to be the number that the display area of the first application icon can display the application icons at most, so that a user may view the application icons in the first folder.
Of course, in other optional embodiments, if the number of the application icons in the first folder is greater than the number of the application icons that can be displayed in the display area of the first application icon at most, the user may continue to check the application icons in the first folder through sliding input, and specifically may set according to actual needs.
It is understood that, in a case where the electronic device receives an input to the first application icon other than the slide input, an operation for the first application icon may be performed. For example, when the user clicks the first application icon, an application program corresponding to the first application icon is started.
In the embodiment of the application, the user can respectively realize different operations for the first application icon or the first folder through different inputs of the first application icon, so that convenience of the user in interaction with the application icon can be improved. Meanwhile, the second application icon is displayed in the display area of the first application icon, so that the display of the application icons is more orderly.
The following explains the specific implementation process of the present application in conjunction with a specific application scenario.
Referring to fig. 3A and 3B, fig. 3A and 3B illustrate one particular process by which a user associates an application icon of smaller display size with an application icon of larger display size. For ease of understanding, in the following flow, application icons C to F with the smallest size shown in fig. 3A and 3B are defined as unit size, that is, size 1*1, and then application icons H and I are 2*1, and application icons A, B, G and J are 2×2.
The user can manually adjust the display size of the application icon, and when the display size of the application icon is enlarged to 2×2, the application icon has a function of associating the application icon with the storage size 1*1.
Similar to the desktop management mode of a common mobile phone, a user can press the application icon C2s for a long time to change the application icon C into a movable state, and at this time, the user can drag the icon on the desktop to move the icon to the application icon J.
When the application icon C is dragged onto the application icon J, the electronic device may detect whether the display size of the application icon J is 2×2, and if not, perform normal operation interaction, for example, creating a folder and collecting the application icon C and the application icon J into the folder.
If so, a pull-down button may be displayed on the upper right corner of the application icon J, and the application icon C may be dragged to the position where the pull-down button is located, that is, icon information, name information, and the like of the application icon C may be added to the application icon set corresponding to the application icon J. It should be appreciated that the drop down buttons described above may be displayed when an application icon J is present in association therewith.
At this time, the electronic device may record, in a preset database, icon information and name information of the application program associated with the application icon J, so that, after the user clicks the drop-down button, the electronic device reads the icon information and name information of the application program associated with the application icon J, and displays the application icon associated with the application icon J.
Referring to fig. 3B, fig. 3B is a schematic diagram showing an application icon list associated with an application icon J after the user clicks the pull-down button. When clicking the application icon in the application icon list, the user can directly jump to the application program corresponding to the application icon.
Further, referring to fig. 4A to 4C, fig. 4A to 4C illustrate a specific flow of associating two application icons with a larger display size by a user. And the display sizes of the application icons G and J are 2 x 2, and at this time, if the user drags the application icon G to the application icon J, the electronic device displays the application icon G on the application icon J in a stacked manner after detecting that the display sizes of the two icons are 2 x 2, and adaptively reduces the display size of the application icon G. Clicking the drop-down button on the application icon G may show the application icon in the folder corresponding to the application icon G as shown in fig. 4B, and clicking other areas on the application icon G may start the application program corresponding to the application icon G.
Meanwhile, the user can switch the application icon J to the upper layer display as in fig. 4C by double-clicking the application icon G, so as to operate the application icon J.
Referring to fig. 5A and 5B, fig. 5A and 5B illustrate another process by which a user associates an application icon having a smaller display size with an application icon having a larger display size. In this embodiment, when the display size of the application icon is larger than 1*1, the application icon has a function of associating the application icon with the storage size 1*1.
Similarly to the above-described embodiment, the user can press the application icon C for 2 seconds to change the application icon C to the movable state, and at this time, the user can drag the icon on the desktop to move it toward the application icon H.
When the application icon C is dragged onto the application icon H, the electronic device may detect whether the display size of the application icon H is larger than 1*1, and if not, perform normal operation interactions, such as creating a folder and collecting the application icon C and the application icon H into the folder.
If so, the application icon C may be hidden behind the application icon H, and the user may hide the application icon H by a sliding operation on the application icon H, so as to display the application icon C that is hidden behind the application icon H. When clicking any icon, the user can jump to the application program corresponding to the application icon.
The two modes can be used for associating the application icons with the larger display size with the application icons with the smaller display size, and displaying the application icons with the smaller display size on the system desktop before after inputting the application icons with the larger display size, so that the number of the application icons on the system desktop is reduced, hierarchical management of the application icons is realized, and convenience of interaction between a user and the application icons is improved.
