The extension type plug-in unit is provided with a long section of busbar track, after the extension type plug-in unit is inserted into an extension socket above the front face of the junction box, the original plug-in junction box is connected with a wiring terminal part of the electric energy meter, the busbar track of the extension type plug-in unit is pulled out, a new connecting wire column is connected with a new electric energy meter, the plug-in junction box is pushed along the busbar, and replacement is completed.
