In the existing military-standard mobile electronic device, due to the structural strength consideration, the shape of the military-standard mobile electronic device is difficult to change the local design, and the overall structure of the housing needs to be redesigned to meet the structural strength requirement when the shape is required to be changed. Therefore, it is difficult for the existing military-standard mobile electronic device to directly mount the expansion module on the original structure on the premise of meeting the requirement of structural strength. Therefore, it is necessary to develop and design corresponding models for different fields of use.
In view of the above, the present inventors have made extensive studies on the above-mentioned prior art and, together with the theoretical application, have made an effort to solve the above-mentioned problems, and thus have an object of improvement.

The invention provides a mobile electronic device, which comprises a metal frame, a back cover and a frame. The inner side of the metal frame is provided with a mainboard, the edge of the metal frame forms a mounting wall, and the mounting wall is provided with a first wiring port. The back cover is overlapped on the metal frame and covers one surface of the metal frame. The mobile electronic device of the invention also comprises a display panel which is superposed on the metal frame and covers the other side of the metal frame opposite to the back cover.
In the mobile electronic device of the present invention, the mounting wall is protruded to form a waterproof rib extending along the mounting wall, the back cover is provided with an elastic structure, the elastic structure extends corresponding to the waterproof rib, and the waterproof rib is embedded into the elastic structure. The frame of the mobile electronic device comprises the replaceable functional frame strip, so that the corresponding functional module can be selected and assembled according to different use requirements. The design of the functional frame strip only needs to be changed, and the whole structure of the mobile electronic device does not need to be greatly changed, so that the mobile electronic device can be widely applied to various different application fields. [ detailed description ] embodiments
Referring to fig. 1 to 3, a mobile electronic device according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention includes a metal frame 100, a back cover 200, a display panel 300, a frame 400 and at least one function module 500.
Generally, the metal frame 100 is a substantially rectangular flat body, however, the metal frame 100 may be configured as a flat body with different shapes according to different requirements. The two sides of the metal frame 100 are respectively a front side 101 and a back side 102, and the metal frame 100 forms a mounting wall 110, in this example, the mounting wall 110 is formed protruding from the back side 102 and extends along a closed curve to form a waterproof space inside the metal frame 100; the metal frame 100 may have a space formed thereon, which is in communication with the outside, except for the mounting wall 110, and a fan may be preferably provided therein. A main board 10 is disposed inside the metal frame 100. In the present embodiment, the main board 10 is stacked on the rear side 102 of the metal frame 100 and embedded in the range surrounded by the mounting wall 110. At least one section of the mounting wall 110 extends along the edge of the metal frame 100, and the section of the mounting wall 110 forming the edge of the metal frame 100 is provided with a first wire connection port 103.
Referring to fig. 3 and 4, the back cover 200 is overlapped on the metal frame 100 and covers the rear side 102 of the metal frame 100 and closes the range enclosed by the mounting wall 110. In the present embodiment, the back cover 200 is preferably made of plastic, but the invention is not limited thereto. The mounting wall 110 is formed with a protruding waterproof rib 120 extending along the mounting wall 110, the back cover 200 is provided with an elastic structure 220, the elastic structure 220 extends corresponding to the waterproof rib 120, and the waterproof rib 120 is embedded into the elastic structure 220 to seal the back cover 200 to the metal frame 100.
The display panel 300 is stacked on the metal frame 100 and covers the front side 101 of the metal frame 100 opposite to the back cover 200. The metal frame 100 is clamped between the back cover 200 and the display panel 300 to be closed. The display panel 300 is preferably adhered and fixed to the metal frame 100 in an adhering manner, so that a front cover is not required to fix the display panel 300, and the display panel 300 can be tightly adhered to the metal frame 100.
Referring to fig. 1 to 3, the frame 400 is preferably an annular frame corresponding to the edge of the metal frame 100, the frame 400 surrounds the edge of the metal frame 100, and in this example, the frame 400 is preferably fastened to at least the corners of the metal frame 100, thereby fixing the frame 400 to the metal frame 100. In addition, at least the back cover 200 and the metal frame 100 may be fixed by sandwiching the bezel 400, but the bezel 400 may also sandwich the edge of the display panel 300 to further fix the display panel 300 to the metal frame 100.
Specifically, the frame 400 is a multi-segment assembled structure, and the frame 400 includes at least one fixed frame strip 410 and one functional frame strip 420. The functional frame strip 420 is disposed on the mounting wall 110, and the functional frame strip 420 extends from at least one side of the metal frame 100 to two adjacent sides. The fixing frame strip 410 may be a single-segment structure or a multi-segment connection structure, the fixing frame strip 410 covers a portion of the edge of the metal frame 100 and is connected to the functional frame strip 420, and the frame 400 surrounds and binds the edge of the metal frame 100. The detailed structure of the fixed frame strip 410 and the functional frame strip 420 is described later.
The fixing frame strip 410 is a long strip, which may be a plurality of straight strips connected together or a single curved strip, and in this embodiment, the fixing frame strip 410 having three continuous segments corresponds to three of the edges of the rectangular metal frame 100 without the first wire connection port 103. One side of the fixed frame strip 410 protrudes to form a pair of flanges 421 disposed at an opposite interval, and the pair of flanges 421 at least hold the metal frame 100 and the back cover 200 therebetween. Specifically, the fixing frame strip 410 is locked and connected to the metal frame 100, the pair of flanges 421 are a front flange 421a and a rear flange 421b, respectively, and the back cover 200 is pressed and fixed on the metal frame 100 through the rear flange 421 b. The front flange 421a may be pressed on the metal frame 100 or further pressed on the edge of the display panel 300 to press and fix the display panel 300 to the metal frame 100.
Referring to fig. 2 and 5, the functional frame strip 420 is disposed on the edge of the metal frame 100 where the first wire connection port 103 is located, the functional frame strip 420 is in a strip shape, one side of the functional frame strip 420 is also protruded to form a pair of flanges 421, and at least the metal frame 100 and the back cover 200 are clamped therebetween by the same arrangement. The fixed frame strip 410 is locked and connected to the metal frame 100, and further, the functional frame strip 420 is locked and connected to the metal frame 100 at the connection position between the metal frame 100 and the two adjacent sides of the metal frame 100. The pair of flanges 421 on the functional frame strip 420 are also a front flange 421a and a rear flange 421b, respectively, and the functional frame strip 420 presses and fixes the back cover 200 on the metal frame 100 through the rear flange 421 b. The front flange 421a of the functional frame strip 420 may be pressed on the metal frame 100 or further pressed on the edge of the display panel 300 to press and fix the display panel 300 to the metal frame 100.
The difference between the functional frame strip 420 and the fixed frame strip 410 is that an expansion box 430 is formed on the functional frame strip 420, a second wire connection port 403 communicated with the expansion box 430 is formed in the functional frame strip 420, and the second wire connection port 403 is located between the pair of flanges 421 of the functional frame strip 420 and configured corresponding to the first wire connection port 103. Specifically, the first wire connection port 103 may be disposed opposite to but separated from the second wire connection port 403, so that a wire 520 may pass through the first wire connection port 103 and the second wire connection port 403 from the metal frame 100 into the expansion box 430. However, in the embodiment, the first wire connection port 103 preferably abuts against the second wire connection port 403 so as to enable the space inside the expansion box 430 to be closely communicated with the space inside the metal frame 100.
The function modules 500a, 500b are disposed in the expansion box 430, the function modules 500a, 500b have an operation interface 510a, 510b, and the operation interface 510a, 510b is exposed on the surface of the expansion box 430. Specifically, the expansion box 430 has operation ports 431a and 431b opened corresponding to the function modules 500a and 500b, respectively, and the operation interfaces 510a and 510b are exposed to the surface of the expansion box 430 through the corresponding operation ports 431a and 431b, respectively. The functional modules 500a and 500b are electrically connected to the wires 520, and the wires 520 are further electrically connected to the motherboard 10. Therefore, the functional modules 500a and 500b can be electrically connected to the main board 10 through the wires 520 via the first wiring ports 103 and the second wiring ports 403.
In the embodiment, the functional modules 500a and 500b are preferably multiple and different in function, and each of the functional modules 500a and 500b is electrically connected to the wire 520 and electrically connected to the motherboard 10 through the wire 520 to expand various additional functions of the electronic device. However, the invention is not limited thereto, and the functional module may be a single additional function for expanding the electronic device. Specifically, the functional modules 500a and 500b shown in this embodiment are a fingerprint scanner and a magnetic stripe reader, respectively, but the invention is not limited thereto, and may also be a barcode scanner, for example.
Referring to fig. 2 and 6, the edge of the metal frame 100 is provided with a plurality of function keys 130, the function keys 130 may be disposed on one side of the metal frame 100 or on the edge surface of the metal frame 100, the function frame 420 covers the function keys 130, the function frame 420 is provided with a plurality of key caps 440 corresponding to the function keys 130, and the key caps 440 are respectively exposed out of the surface of the function frame 420. The functional frame strip 420 is provided with a plurality of functional keys 130 therein, the functional frame strip 420 is provided with a plurality of key caps 440 corresponding to the functional keys 130, and the key caps 440 are respectively exposed out of the surface of the functional frame strip 420, in the embodiment, the key caps 440 are preferably exposed out of the front flange 421a of the functional frame strip 420. The front flange 421a of the functional frame strip 420 can be opened to assemble the key cap 440, and the key cap 440 can be combined with the functional frame strip 420 by two-material injection molding to facilitate assembly.
Referring to fig. 7, another aspect of the functional frame strip 420 in the embodiment is that two groups of functional modules 500c and 500d in the expansion box 430 are respectively a network communication port and a video communication port, and the expansion box 430 is respectively provided with an operation port 431c and an operation port 431d corresponding to each functional module 500c and 500 d. The operation interfaces 510c and 510d of the network communication port are RJ45 sockets, and the operation interface 510c of the video communication port is a VGA socket. The operation interfaces 510c and 520d are exposed to the corresponding operation ports 431c and 431d, respectively, and the operation ports 431c and 431d are sealed with waterproof covers 501c and 501d, respectively.
In the mobile electronic device of the present invention, the frame 400 includes the replaceable functional frame strip 420, so that the corresponding functional modules 500a, 500b, 500c, and 500d can be selectively assembled according to different requirements. The design of the functional frame strip 420 and the fixed frame strip 410 assembled separately makes the structural strength of the fixed frame strip 410 not affected by the design change of the functional frame strip 420. When the expansion function is added, the design of the functional frame strip 420 is only required to be changed, and the overall structure of the mobile electronic device is not required to be greatly changed, so that the mobile electronic device can be widely applied to various different application fields. The mobile electronic device of the invention is simple and convenient to change corresponding to the design of different purposes, thereby simplifying the design change cost and the development time.

Claims (15)

1. A mobile electronic device, comprising:

a back cover which is overlapped on the metal frame and covers one surface of the metal frame;

4. The mobile electronic device of claim 1, further comprising a display panel overlying the metal frame and covering another side of the metal frame opposite the back cover.

The mobile electronic device as claimed in claim 1, wherein a waterproof rib is formed on the mounting wall in a protruding manner and extends along the mounting wall, the back cover is provided with a resilient structure, the resilient structure extends corresponding to the waterproof rib, and the waterproof rib is embedded in the resilient structure.
6. The mobile electronic device of claim 1, wherein a plurality of function keys are disposed on an edge of the metal frame, the function frame wraps the function keys, a plurality of key caps are disposed on the function frame corresponding to the function keys, and the key caps are exposed out of the surface of the function frame.
7. The mobile electronic device of claim 1, wherein the functional frame strip has a plurality of functional keys therein, and a plurality of key caps are disposed on the functional frame strip corresponding to the functional keys, and each key cap is exposed out of the surface of the functional frame strip.
8. The mobile electronic device according to claim 1, wherein the functional frame strip extends from at least one side of the metal frame to two adjacent sides.
9. The mobile electronic device according to claim 8, wherein the functional frame strip is fastened to a connection between the at least one side and the adjacent two sides.
10. The mobile electronic device of claim 1, wherein an expansion box is formed on the functional frame strip, a second wire connection port connected to the expansion box is formed in the functional frame strip, and the first wire connection port corresponds to the second wire connection port.
11. The mobile electronic device of claim 10, wherein the first port is mated to the second port.
12. The mobile electronic device as claimed in claim 4, wherein the functional frame strip forms a pair of flanges disposed at an opposite interval, the metal frame and the back cover are clamped between the pair of flanges, and the second wire connection port is located between the pair of flanges.

The mobile electronic device of claim 10, further comprising at least one functional module disposed in the expansion box, wherein the functional module has an operation interface exposed on a surface of the expansion box, and the functional module is connected to the motherboard through the first and second wire connection ports by a wire.
14. The mobile electronic device of claim 13, wherein the functional modules are different in function, and each of the functional modules is electrically connected to the wire.
15. The mobile electronic device of claim 13, wherein the functional module is a fingerprint scanner, a barcode scanner, a magnetic stripe reader, or a communication port.
