Abstract
The invention relates to the technical field of animal experiment devices, and discloses a marmoset behavioural experiment box which comprises a box body and an inserting plate, wherein a top plate of the box body is provided with an inserting opening, the inserting plate can be inserted into the box body through the inserting opening or pulled out of the box body, when the inserting plate is inserted into the box body, the inserting plate divides the box body into two sub-box bodies along the length direction of the box body, and when the inserting plate is pulled out of the box body, the two sub-box bodies are communicated. The marmoset ethology experiment box provided by the invention is only provided with two adjacent sub-boxes without an intermediate sub-box, so that invalid experiment time caused by long-time stay of the marmoset in the intermediate sub-box is reduced, and the efficiency and effectiveness of the experiment are improved; in addition, the two sub-boxes are separated and communicated in a mode of inserting and pulling the plugboards up and down, a channel between the two sub-boxes can be ensured to be wide, the freedom of the reciprocating motion of the marmosets between the two sub-boxes is increased, the switching can be realized under the condition that the moving space of the marmosets is not influenced, and the interference on the marmosets is reduced.

Technical Field

Background
In marmoset behavioural experiments, it is often desirable to test marmosets for their selection of preferences for different locations and spaces, including unconditional preferences as well as conditional preferences, in order to test the marmosets for their natural or learned preferences for certain cues present in that space.
The prior art provides a marmoset behaviourology experimental box, including three subboxes on the left, right and middle sides, and the subbox all has a side to be transparent about and. The defects in the prior art are that the setting of the left, middle and right sub-boxes easily causes marmosets to stay in the middle sub-box most of the time, and the time is useless for a position preference selection experiment, so that the efficiency and effectiveness of the experiment test are reduced; the side of the left and right sub-boxes is provided with a transparent surface, so that the external environment of the side can be directly observed by the marmoset, and the external environment is easy to cause unnecessary influence on the position selection behavior of the marmoset, such as asymmetry of the left and right external environments, personnel walking and the like.
Therefore, a marmoset ethology experimental box suitable for marmoset behavior preference study needs to be designed.

The technical scheme of the invention is further explained by combining the attached drawings and the embodiment. It is to be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not limiting of the invention. Marmoset is a small-body type non-human primate, the volume of which is slightly larger than that of a rat but smaller than that of a cat, the marmoset is sensitive to the environment and easy to feel pressure and frightened, the environment is relaxed as much as possible in the experiment, and the influence of the external environment and the operation of a human on the position selection behavior of the marmoset is avoided as much as possible.
Based on the above, the present invention provides a marmoset behavioural test box, as shown in fig. 1 to fig. 3, comprising a box body 10 and an insert board 20, wherein the top plate 12 of the box body 10 is provided with a socket 121, the insert board 20 can be inserted into the box body 10 or pulled out from the box body 10 through the socket 121, when the insert board 20 is inserted into the box body 10, the insert board 20 divides the box body 10 into two sub-box bodies along the length direction thereof, and when the insert board 20 is pulled out from the box body 10, the two sub-box bodies are connected. The marmoset ethology experiment box provided by the invention is only provided with two adjacent subboxes, so that a middle subbox is removed, and invalid experiment time caused by long-time stay of the marmoset in the middle subbox is reduced, thereby improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the experiment; in addition, the two sub-boxes are separated and communicated in a vertical plugging mode of the plugboard 20, a channel between the two sub-boxes can be ensured to be wide, the freedom of the reciprocating motion of the marmoset monkey between the two sub-boxes is increased, the switching can be realized under the condition that the moving space of the marmoset monkey is not influenced, and the interference on the marmoset monkey is reduced. Preferably, the two sub-boxes are symmetrically arranged relative to the board 20, so as to ensure that the two subspaces have the same spatial size, and reduce the interference caused by the different spatial sizes to the marmosets position selection behavior as much as possible.
In this embodiment, the box 10 is a rectangular parallelepiped, and includes a bottom plate 11, a top plate 12, and four side plates enclosed between the bottom plate 11 and the top plate 12, where the four side plates include two first side plates 13 oppositely disposed along a width direction of the box 10 and two second side plates 14 oppositely disposed along a length direction of the box 10.
Preferably, the two first side plates 13 of the box 10 are respectively provided with a first slide rail 131 extending along the inserting and pulling direction of the inserting plate 20, and the inserting plate 20 can be in sliding fit with the first slide rails 131, so that the inserting and pulling of the inserting plate 20 are smoother. Preferably, the upper end of the plug board 20 is provided with a first handle 21 to provide a force point when the plug board 20 is plugged and unplugged, so that the plugging and unplugging of the plug board 20 are more convenient and labor-saving.
The two second side plates 14 of the box body 10 are both of a plug-in type, and the second side plates 14 can be inserted into or pulled out of the top of the box body 10 so as to close or open the sub-box body; the two first side plates 13 of the box body 10 are both provided with second slide rails 132 arranged along the inserting and pulling direction of the second side plate 14, and the second side plate 14 is in sliding fit with the second slide rails 132. Two second curb plates 14 of box 10 can regard as the access & exit of marmoset monkey discrepancy sub-box, and the form of adopting the plug can guarantee that the access & exit is comparatively spacious moreover, and the marmoset monkey access & exit of being convenient for, and the switch does not receive the space restriction. Preferably, the upper end of the second side plate 14 is provided with a second handle 141 to provide a force acting point when the second side plate 14 is inserted and pulled out, so that the insertion and pulling of the second side plate 14 are more convenient and labor-saving.
In this embodiment, the side panels and the bottom panel 11 of the box 10 are made of opaque materials, so as to reduce the influence of the external environment on the behavior selection of marmosets, and reduce the possibility of stress and anxiety of marmosets caused by approach or movement of operators. Preferably, the side plates and the bottom plate 11 of the box 10 are made of black frosted acrylic plates. In addition, in the present embodiment, the top plate 12 of the casing 10 is made of a light-transmitting material so that a camera is disposed directly above the casing 10 to record the behavior of marmosets. The top plate 12 of the box body 10 is further provided with a plurality of groups of second ventilation holes 123, and the plurality of groups of second ventilation holes 123 are arranged at intervals along the length direction of the top plate 12, in this embodiment, the number of the second ventilation holes 123 included in each group of second ventilation holes 123 is two, but not limited thereto, and the number of the second ventilation holes 123 in each group can be adaptively adjusted according to the width of the top plate 12. The first vent 122 and the second vent 123 are used for ventilation, and the number of vents can be increased as much as possible by the above arrangement of the first vent 122 and the second vent 123, and the marmoset climbing is not facilitated.
In the present embodiment, the length of the box 10 is 1100mm-1300mm, preferably 1200 mm; the width of the box body 10 is 300mm-500mm, preferably 400 mm; the height of the case 10 is 300mm to 400mm, preferably 350 mm. The box body 10 provided by the embodiment is moderate in size, and marmoset monkeys can freely move in the box body 10 and can not generate nervous and anxious emotions due to too narrow space.
The marmoset ethology experimental box provided by the invention can be used for marmoset experiments and can also be used for experiments of small animals such as cats and rabbits.

4. Marmoset behavioural laboratory box according to claim 1, characterized in that said plug-in board (20) is provided at its upper end with a first handle (21).

8. A marmoset behavioural laboratory box as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein said box body (10) has a top panel (12) provided with first ventilation apertures (122), said first ventilation apertures (122) being provided at intervals along the circumference of said top panel (12).

The marmoset behavioural laboratory box as claimed in claim 8, wherein a plurality of sets of second ventilation holes (123) are further provided on the top plate (12) of said box body (10), and said plurality of sets of second ventilation holes (123) are provided at intervals along the length direction of said top plate (12).
