Display device, server and media asset playing method
Technical Field
The application relates to the technical field of smart televisions, in particular to a display device, a server and a media asset playing method.
Background
The display device refers to a terminal device capable of outputting a specific display picture, such as a smart television, a mobile terminal, a smart advertisement screen, a projector, and the like. Taking an intelligent television as an example, the intelligent television can be based on an Internet application technology, has an open operating system and a chip, has an open application platform, can realize a bidirectional man-machine interaction function, integrates multiple functions of video, entertainment, data and the like, and is a television product for meeting diversified and personalized requirements of users. For example, a user can select any multimedia resource option by operating the media resource selection interface, control the smart television to access the link address of the multimedia resource to obtain media resource data, and play a corresponding media resource picture.
The playing of the media assets by the display device can comprise two modes of on-demand and live broadcasting. And the on-demand refers to that the user can select a media asset option to be played in the media asset list, and then the display equipment is controlled to acquire the media asset data corresponding to the media asset option and play the media asset from the beginning. Live broadcast refers to that a user can access a live broadcast signal source through a live broadcast entrance, acquire currently played media asset data in real time according to the live broadcast signal source and play the media asset data in real time.
Due to the limitation on the copyright of the media asset data, part of the media asset can be played only if a user has certain playing authority. For example, part of movie resources require that a user has a high-level membership (VIP) right to play the movie, so that when the media asset is played in a live broadcast manner, the live broadcast media asset is limited to part of free movies, and the live broadcast content is single. When the live broadcast resources comprise partial member films, the common members cannot continuously watch the media resources in a live broadcast mode, and the user experience is reduced.

For example: in response to receiving a user command for selecting a UI object to be displayed on the display 260, the controller 250 may perform an operation related to the object selected by the user command.
In some embodiments, a user may enter user commands on a Graphical User Interface (GUI) displayed on display 260, and the user input interface receives the user input commands through the Graphical User Interface (GUI). Alternatively, the user may input the user command by inputting a specific sound or gesture, and the user input interface receives the user input command by recognizing the sound or gesture through the sensor.
In some embodiments, a "user interface" is a media interface for interaction and information exchange between an application or operating system and a user that enables conversion between an internal form of information and a form that is acceptable to the user. A commonly used presentation form of the User Interface is a Graphical User Interface (GUI), which refers to a User Interface related to computer operations and displayed in a graphical manner. It may be an interface element such as an icon, a window, a control, etc. displayed in the display screen of the electronic device, where the control may include at least one of an icon, a button, a menu, a tab, a text box, a dialog box, a status bar, a navigation bar, a Widget, etc. visual interface elements.
Referring to fig. 4, in some embodiments, the system is divided into four layers, which are an Application (Applications) layer (abbreviated as "Application layer"), an Application Framework (Application Framework) layer (abbreviated as "Framework layer"), an Android runtime (Android runtime) and system library layer (abbreviated as "system runtime library layer"), and a kernel layer from top to bottom.
In some embodiments, at least one application program runs in the application program layer, and the application programs may be windows (windows) programs carried by an operating system, system setting programs, clock programs or the like; or an application developed by a third party developer. In particular implementations, the application packages in the application layer are not limited to the above examples.
The framework layer provides an Application Programming Interface (API) and a programming framework for the application program of the application layer. The application framework layer includes a number of predefined functions. The application framework layer acts as a processing center that decides to let the applications in the application layer act. The application program can access the resources in the system and obtain the services of the system in execution through the API interface.
As shown in fig. 4, in the embodiment of the present application, the application framework layer includes a manager (Managers), a Content Provider (Content Provider), and the like, where the manager includes at least one of the following modules: an Activity Manager (Activity Manager) is used for interacting with all activities running in the system; the Location Manager (Location Manager) is used for providing the system service or application with the access of the system Location service; a Package Manager (Package Manager) for retrieving various information related to an application Package currently installed on the device; a Notification Manager (Notification Manager) for controlling display and clearing of Notification messages; a Window Manager (Window Manager) is used to manage the icons, windows, toolbars, wallpapers, and desktop components on a user interface.
In some embodiments, the activity manager is used to manage the lifecycle of the various applications as well as general navigational fallback functions, such as controlling exit, opening, fallback, etc. of the applications. The window manager is used for managing all window programs, such as obtaining the size of a display screen, judging whether a status bar exists, locking the screen, intercepting the screen, controlling the change of the display window (for example, reducing the display window, displaying a shake, displaying a distortion deformation, and the like), and the like.
In some embodiments, the system runtime layer provides support for the upper layer, i.e., the framework layer, and when the framework layer is used, the android operating system runs the C/C + + library included in the system runtime layer to implement the functions to be implemented by the framework layer.
In some embodiments, the kernel layer is a layer between hardware and software. As shown in fig. 4, the core layer includes at least one of the following drivers: audio drive, display driver, bluetooth drive, camera drive, WIFI drive, USB drive, HDMI drive, sensor drive (like fingerprint sensor, temperature sensor, pressure sensor etc.) and power drive etc..
Based on the display device 200, the user can control the display device 200 to realize the live function in the process of using the display device 200. For example, as shown in FIG. 5, a "auditorium" portal option may be provided on the control home page of display device 200. The user controls to execute an interactive action through the control device 100 or the intelligent device 300 to control the focus cursor to move to the selected entrance option of the "auditorium" and trigger the display device 200 to display a live entrance interface, namely, an interface of the "auditorium".
The implementation of the live function may also depend on an application installed on the display device 200. The application program may be a system application or a third party application. For example, the user may install an application named "starriver cinema" on the display device 200. The user can control the display device 200 to start running the application by selecting the "starry river cinema" APP icon in the application interface. After the start of the "star river cinema" APP is completed, a live entrance interface, that is, a "theater" interface, may be displayed on the display 260 of the display device 200.
The live entry interface may be provided with a plurality of live channel options, and the live channel options may be configured with specific channel names according to the types of the multimedia assets to be shown. For example, as shown in fig. 6, a live channel option named "story cinema" may be included in the live portal interface, a live channel option named "emotion cinema" may be included, and so on. When the user selects any of the live channel options, the live function of the display device 200 may be turned on, that is, the showing data stream of the live channel is acquired and displayed on the display 260 in real time.
For user operation, the live channel option may also include information related to the live process. For example: the name of the live channel, a background picture of the live channel, the name of a currently shown movie of the live channel, the playing progress of the currently shown movie, the number of people watching in the live channel and the like. And, when the live channel entry interface displayed by the display device 200 is displayed, the default focus flag may be set on the live channel option located in the middle of the interface, so that the user may control to switch the selected live channel option through the "left" and "right" direction keys on the control apparatus 100. For example, the focus cursor when the display device 200 enters the live entry interface is positioned over the "story cinema" option, and the user may select the "emotion cinema" option via the "right" key control focus cursor on the control apparatus 100 and the "comedy cinema" option via the "left" key control focus cursor on the control apparatus 100.
After the user selects the live channel option, the display device 200 may be controlled to enter the selected live channel and play the current showing picture of the channel. For example, for controlling access to the live "story cinema" channel by pressing the "OK/OK" key on the control device 100 when the focus cursor is at the "story cinema" option position. Since the showing progress of the current "story cinema" channel is 7% of "movie a", the display device 200 can play "movie a" and other movies following "movie a" in the showing list from 7% of the "movie a" position after the user presses the "OK/OK" key on the control apparatus 100.
To implement the live process described above, the display device 200 may send a live access request to the server 400 requesting to receive the presentation data stream of the server 400 after the user selects the live channel option. The server 400 may then feed back the presentation data stream of the current live channel to the display device 200 according to the live access request sent by the display device 200. Since the current playback mode is live, the presentation data stream sent by the server 400 to the display device 200 needs to be transmitted in accordance with the presentation schedule of the current live channel. In addition, in the live function, the play control of the display device 200 should conform to the live logic, that is, the user cannot control the play operation of the display device 200 such as pause, fast forward, and next movie.
Due to the limitation of the live broadcasting logic, a user can select to enter a live broadcasting channel in a specific time period according to the watching requirement of the user so as to watch a film which is interested by the user. Therefore, in order to enable the user to view live at a specific time, a showing list corresponding to each live channel option can be displayed in the live entry interface. A plurality of asset options may be included in the show list in order of show time. The show list may be set in an area associated with a live channel option and the show list toggles as the focus cursor selects a different live channel option.
For example, a show list may be displayed below the live channel, and a plurality of movie options may be included in the show list, each marked with a movie name and a start showing time of the movie, i.e., movie a of 6:44 show, movie B of 8:35 show, 10: 13 movie C, etc. The plurality of movie options may be arranged in a chronological order from left to right. The user can switch the live channel by the left and right keys of the control device 100, and when the live channel is switched, the showing list under the option of the live channel is synchronously switched. That is, as shown in fig. 7, after the live channel is switched from "story cinema" to "emotion cinema", the play list in the lower part is also synchronously switched to the today's movie listing of "emotion cinema".
The asset options for different show times and show states may be presented as different forms of display content. For example, film a, film B, and film C, which have already been projected, may be displayed by a grayscale image with reduced brightness; the film D which is showing can be displayed by adopting a full-color image and normal brightness mode; the unreprojected films 'film E', 'film F' and 'film G' can be displayed in full color and with reduced brightness to prompt the user.
For a movie being shown, since it plays a picture content capable of indicating that the user can directly display on the display device 200 after entering the current live channel, it is also possible to switch to "playing" at the start showing time corresponding to the currently shown asset option in the show list so that the user performs interaction. When the playing of the media asset currently being played in the current showing list is finished, the display device 200 automatically switches to the next media asset playing in the showing list. At this point, the show list may automatically switch the show time at the top of the next asset option to "now playing". Meanwhile, the media asset information in the live channel option is automatically changed into the information corresponding to the next media asset option.
In some embodiments, the playlist may not only show the manner in which the current live channel is scheduled, but may also support user selection for playback. I.e., the asset options on the show list, may also support user selection operations. For example, the user may press the "down" arrow key on the control device 100 while the focus cursor is on the live channel option to move the focus cursor to the show list that shows the playback timeline and indicates when the movie starts to show. After moving the focus cursor to the show list, the focus cursor may be set to be positioned over the movie option being played. For example, as shown in fig. 8, when the current "motion picture theatre" channel is playing movie D, the focus cursor is selected by default to movie D after switching to the show list under "motion picture theatre". When the user wants to perform a selection operation on any one of the movie options in the presentation list, the switching can be performed by the "left" and "right" direction keys on the control device 100.
For the media asset options in the showing list, the media asset options in different showing states can execute different playing operations when selected by a user. Wherein, when the showing media asset option is selected by the user, the display device 200 can be triggered to realize the live broadcast function. Rather than the showing asset option, may trigger display device 200 to perform an on-demand function for the asset when selected by the user. In order to implement the above functions, some embodiments of the present application provide a media asset playing method, which may be configured in the controller 250 of the display device 200 to trigger the display device 200 to execute different playing functions according to different selected operations of a user. As shown in fig. 9 and 10, the method for playing media assets specifically includes the following steps:
and acquiring a playing instruction input by a user based on the showing list. The display device 200 may receive various instructions input by a user in use. Different instructions may trigger the display device 200 to perform different operations. The user can input a playing instruction based on the showing list, namely the playing instruction can be input when the user selects any media asset option in the showing list.
The input mode of the play instruction is different according to the different interaction modes supported by the display device 200. The play instruction may be input based on a UI interface on the display device 200. For example, the user can control the movement of the focus cursor in the UI interface by the direction keys of the control device 100, and perform the selection operation in conjunction with the "OK/OK" key on the control device 100. When the user selects the options "star river cinema-story cinema-" movie D "in turn in the UI interface displayed on the display device 200 through interactive action, the input of the play instruction can be realized.
The play instruction may also be input based on a specific interactive system built in or external to the display device 200. For example, when the display device 200 supports touch interactive operation, the user may sequentially click the option "star river cinema-story cinema-" movie D "in the UI interface through a touch gesture, and may also implement input of a play instruction.
For another example, when the display apparatus 200 incorporates a smart voice system, the user can interact by inputting voice. That is, the user can control the display device 200 to display the live entrance interface through the voice instruction of "opening the star river cinema". And after the display device 200 displays the live entry interface, a voice is input to enter a story cinema channel, or a play movie D command is input.
After the user inputs the play instruction by using any one of the above-mentioned interactive actions, the display device 200 may detect the selected asset of the play instruction in response to the input play instruction. The media asset is selected, i.e., the target embodied by the user through the interactive actions such as "OK/OK" key, click touch gesture, and "play xxx" of the control device 100. Obviously, the selected media assets in the playing instructions are different according to different specific input actions of the user. For example, when a user inputs a play instruction by sequentially selecting the options "star river cinema-story cinema-" film D "in the UI interface, the media asset is selected as" film D ". And the user selects the media asset as ' film E ' when the user inputs a playing instruction by sequentially selecting ' starriver cinema-story cinema- ' film E ' options in the UI interface.
When the user inputs a play instruction, the asset options in the show list may be in a particular show state. Wherein, the showing state comprises three types of showing, showing and not starting showing. Obviously, at the same time, the showing states of the asset options in the showing list are different, and at different times, the showing states of the selected assets in the playing instruction are different. For example, if the starting showing time of film D is 12:35, the starting showing time of film E is 14:10, and the current showing medium in the time period of 12:35 to 14:10 is film D. If the user 13:30 selects movie D, the showing status of the selected media asset is showing. And if the user selects movie D at 14:15, the showing state of the selected media asset is finished.
Obviously, at different times, the presentation status of each media asset option in the presentation list is different. The multiple asset options in the show list may go through three phases of "show not started-show ended" in sequence as time changes. For example, for movie D, which has a starting showing time of 12:35, the showing status of the asset option is "not starting showing" when the time of 12:35 is not reached, the showing status of the asset option is changed to "showing" when the time of 12:35 is reached, and the showing status of the asset option is maintained as "showing" during the total length of 12:35 to movie D. After the time elapses for the total length of the movie D, the presentation state of the asset option is changed to "finished presentation" and is continuously maintained for one cycle period.
The presentation status of each of the asset options in the presentation list may be stored in a database of the display device 200 and/or the server 400 and updated in real time as the presentation status of each of the asset options changes over time. For example, when the display device 200 enters a play application, the display device 200 may send a request to the server 400 to retrieve a show list and automatically invoke a stored entry in the database regarding the show state. The storage table entry may include a asset identifier such as an asset ID and a corresponding presentation status code. And displaying the projection list, and caching the called list items into an operating memory according to an operating mode for subsequent use.
After the user selects a certain asset option in the displayed showing list, the display device 200 may determine the current showing state of the asset option according to the selected asset option identifier. That is, the display device 200 may extract the selected asset ID, and match the presentation status corresponding to the asset ID in the cached entry with the extracted asset ID as an index. If the showing state corresponding to the media asset ID is determined to be showing through matching, the currently selected media asset is determined to be the currently showing media asset; and if the matching determines that the showing state corresponding to the media asset ID is 'showing finished' or 'showing not started', determining that the currently selected media asset is not the currently showing media asset.
The display device 200 may determine whether the selected asset is the currently-shown asset according to the showing state of the selected asset in the playing instruction, so as to execute different playing functions according to whether the selected asset is the currently-shown asset. If the selected asset is the current presentation asset, the display device 200 may be triggered to perform the live function. That is, display device 200 may receive the presentation data stream of the selected asset from server 400 and parse the received presentation data stream to parse specific asset pictures from the presentation data stream. The display device 200 then displays the parsed asset frames via the control display 260 to display a live interface according to the presentation data stream.
As shown in fig. 11, the live interface displayed by the display 260 is a kind of user interface, and the live interface can display a specific asset picture in a full screen. In some embodiments, the live interface may further display a live-related UI control according to an interaction trigger performed by the user. For example, a user may trigger the display of a UI control on the live interface via an "OK/OK" key or a "menu" key on control device 100 while the display 260 displays the live interface. The displayed UI controls may include information related to the playing content, such as current live channel name information, current show asset information, and the like. The displayed UI controls may also include menu items for controlling playback parameters such as playback brightness, sharpness, contrast, volume, and so forth. The user can know the content of the show media assets based on the displayed UI control and control the live broadcast process. Obviously, in order to realize good live broadcasting logic, UI controls such as pause, fast forward/fast rewind, next/previous movie, etc. are not included in the live broadcasting interface.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 12, if the selected asset is a current presentation asset, the display device 200 may obtain a current time and generate a live access request according to the current time. And the live broadcast access request comprises the current time and a live broadcast channel ID. The live access request is then sent to the server 400 to trigger the server 400 to feed back the presentation data stream according to the live channel ID. The playback node time of the presentation data stream fed back by the server 400 is the current time. The display device 200 may then play the media asset data stream from the play node time by parsing the media asset data stream.
For example, the user inputs a play instruction for selecting "story theater" channel corresponding to "film a" in the showing list at 7:00, and determines that the selected media asset is the current showing media asset because the current showing media asset is "film a". At this time, the display apparatus 200 may be triggered to perform the live function, and thus the display apparatus 200 may record the input time 7:00 of the play instruction and generate a live access request to transmit to the server 400. The server 400, upon receiving the live access request, may feed back a presentation data stream corresponding to the "story cinema" channel to the display device 200, and set the start playback node time of the presentation data stream to 7: 00. The display device 200 then, upon receiving the presentation data stream, parses the presentation data stream from the start playback node time 7:00 to play back the live pictures after 7: 00.
In addition, in the process that the display device 200 displays the live interface, a show list may also be added to the displayed live interface for the user to select. For example, the user may control the display apparatus 200 to display a list of shows in the live interface through a "menu" key on the control device 100. The user then enters an interactive action for selecting a particular asset option based on the show list. For the interactive action input by the user, the display device 200 may also determine its current showing status through the selected asset ID, and if the selected asset option corresponds to the current showing status being "showing", the current showing data stream may be continuously played, i.e., the live view may be continuously displayed. If the showing state corresponding to the selected media asset option is 'showing finished' or 'showing not started', the display device 200 can be triggered to realize the on-demand function of the media asset option.
If the selected asset is not the current presentation asset, display device 200 may be triggered to implement the on-demand function. That is, the display device 200 may access the asset link corresponding to the selected asset in the play instruction, obtain asset data corresponding to the selected asset from the server 400, and parse the asset data into a specific display frame, so as to control the display 260 to display the on-demand interface corresponding to the selected asset.
As shown in fig. 13 and 14, the on-demand interface may include a asset detail page and a play interface. The media resource detail page may include media resource information and a play function control. The media asset information may include display pictures and descriptive text indicating currently selected media asset related information. The display picture can be a poster, a cover page and a key frame screenshot of the selected medium resource, and the description words can include the name, author, brief introduction and other contents of the selected medium resource. The play functionality controls may include interactive controls for controlling the media asset on-demand process, such as: a start play option, a pick option, a favorite option, etc.
The playing interface is used for displaying the specific picture content of the selected media assets. Accordingly, the playback interface can include a assets screen and UI controls. The playing interface can also display the specific on-demand media asset picture in a full screen mode. However, unlike the live interface, the UI controls of the play interface do not need to follow the live logic, and thus the UI controls of the play interface may include UI controls such as pause, fast forward/fast rewind, next/previous movie, and the like.
When the display device 200 determines that the selected asset specified by the user is not the current showing asset by detecting the play instruction, the display device 200 may first display the asset detail page according to the interactive logic of the on-demand function, and receive the play start operation input by the user. After the user starts playing based on the input of the asset detail page, or does not input the quit operation within the set time, the display device 200 may automatically switch to the playing interface to play the asset data stream corresponding to the selected asset from the beginning or from the historical recording position.
For example, when the currently played media asset in the play list at the time of the play instruction input by the user is "movie D", and the media asset is designated as "movie a" in the play instruction input by the user, the display device 200 may be triggered to implement the on-demand function by detecting that the current play state of "movie a" is already ended. Therefore, the display device 200 may jump to the detail page of "movie a" first, and jump to the playing interface of "movie a" after the user clicks the "start playing" button, so as to realize the on-demand playing of "movie a". After the user clicks the "start playing" button, the display device 200 may also traverse the play history of the "movie a", and play the "movie a" from the beginning if the user plays the "movie a" for the first time; if the user does not play movie a for the first time, movie a may be played continuously from the position where the user last stopped playing.
According to the technical scheme, the media asset playing method provided in the embodiment can detect whether the selected media asset in the playing instruction is the current showing media asset. If the selected media assets are the current showing media assets, triggering the display equipment 200 to execute the live broadcasting function, receiving the showing data stream of the selected media assets from the server 400, and carrying out live broadcasting; if the selected media assets are not the current showing media assets, the display equipment 200 is triggered to execute the on-demand function, and on-demand operation is achieved through the detail page and the playing interface. The method can control the trigger display equipment 200 to carry out live broadcast or on demand according to the media asset option selected by the user by enriching the live broadcast content, thereby meeting different playing requirements and improving the user experience.
In the above embodiment, the play instruction is input based on the play list, and therefore, in order to enable the user to input the play instruction, the display device 200 needs to display the play menu before acquiring the play instruction input by the user, that is, in some embodiments, the display device 200 may first receive a control instruction input by the user for starting the live broadcast, and then, in response to the control instruction input by the user, parse the live broadcast channel specified in the control instruction. For example, the user may start a "star river cinema" APP through an application program interface of the display device 200, and input a control instruction for starting live broadcasting. And selecting live broadcast channel options such as 'comedy cinema', 'story cinema', 'emotion cinema', and the like in the 'exhibition hall' column to select a live broadcast channel.
After the display apparatus 200 obtains the selected live channel according to the control instruction, the display apparatus 200 may transmit a request instruction to the server 400 to acquire a presentation list of the current live channel from the server 400. For example, after the user selects the "story cinema" channel, the display apparatus 200 may request the presentation list data corresponding to the "story cinema" from the server 400, and the server 400 may feed back the presentation list data corresponding to the "story cinema" to the display apparatus 200 according to the request of the display apparatus 200.
In order to obtain the projection list of the current live channel, in some embodiments, each live channel may be provided with a corresponding live channel ID, the display device 200 may generate an obtaining request according to the live channel ID, and then send the obtaining request with the selected live channel ID to the server 400, and the server 400 may perform matching in a stored database according to the current live channel ID to obtain the projection list of the current live channel, that is, the present listing table, and then send the projection list hit by matching to the display device 200.
The display device 200 may control the display 260 to display the live entry interface after acquiring the play list fed back by the server 400. Wherein, the live entry interface comprises a showing list. The screening list may set a show asset option in the list to be the current show asset at different time periods, thus including a current show asset option in the screening list.
To determine the currently presenting assets in the show list, display device 200 may also extract asset information for the current time showing in the show list to generate a current presentation asset option. And adding a showing list and a current showing media asset option in the live broadcast entrance interface, wherein the current showing media asset option comprises media asset information and showing progress.
For example, if the starting showing time of film D is 12:35, the starting showing time of film E is 14:10, and the current showing media asset in the time period of 12:35 to 14:10 is film D, the option corresponding to film D in the showing list can be displayed in full color and normal brightness to show that the option is the current showing media asset option. If the user 13:30 inputs the live channel of the selected "story cinema", the playing progress of the "movie D" is 58% (13:30-12:35)/(14:10-12: 35). Therefore, a show list and a current show media option can be added to the live feed interface, and the content displayed in the current show media option at this time can include text contents such as ' show D ' and played 58% '.
As can be seen, based on the above embodiment, before the user inputs the play instruction, the display device 200 may first trigger the display 260 to display the live access interface through the live application program or the live channel access control of the display device 200. And in the live broadcast entrance interface, the media asset information and the broadcast progress shown in the current live broadcast channel are displayed through the current broadcast media asset option, so that the user can directly identify the broadcast state conveniently, the broadcast function of the display device 200 is selectively triggered according to the watching requirement, and the user experience is improved.
Since the display device 200 is triggered to perform the on-demand operation when the selected asset is not the current showing asset. And for part of on-demand operations, the on-demand media assets are limited by the playing authority of the user. For example, a part of a movie requires membership (VIP) rights to be completely on-demand, limited by the agreement of the operator and the copyright side. When playing a movie with different rights, the playing interfaces displayed by the display device 200 are different, that is, in some embodiments of the present application, when the selected asset is not the currently playing asset and the display device 200 is triggered to perform the on-demand operation, the display device 200 may obtain the selected asset ID, and send an on-demand request to the server 400 according to the selected asset ID to trigger the server 400 to verify the playing right of the current user. Therefore, the on-demand request comprises the selected media asset ID and the playing authority of the current user.
After receiving the on-demand request, the server 400 may parse the selected asset ID and the play right of the current user in the on-demand request. For example, the server 400 may parse the request for the on-demand asset with an ID "movie a" that requires VIP membership rights to enable full on-demand. And meanwhile, the playing authority of the current user is analyzed to be a common member in the on-demand request.
The server 400 may also compare the parsed media asset ID with the playing right of the current user to determine whether the playing right of the current user meets the playing right required by the selected media asset. If the playing authority of the current user meets the playing authority required by the selected media assets, transmitting a complete data stream to the display device 200; and if the playing authority of the current user does not meet the playing authority required by the selected media assets, sending a trial viewing data stream to the display device 200.
For example, as shown in fig. 15, the media asset ID parsed from the request for on-demand is "movie a", which requires VIP member right to be able to perform a complete on-demand, and meanwhile, the playing right of the current user is parsed from the request for on-demand is a common member, so that it can be determined that the playing right of the current user does not satisfy the playing right of the selected media asset, and therefore, a preview data stream can be sent to the display device 200. For another example, the media asset ID parsed from the request for on-demand is "movie a", the movie requires VIP member right to be able to perform a complete on-demand, and meanwhile, the playing right of the current user is parsed from the request for on-demand as a VIP member, so that it can be determined that the playing right of the current user satisfies the playing right required by the selected media asset, and thus, a complete data stream can be sent to the display device 200.
It should be noted that the preview data stream refers to the media asset data that can not be played any more after the requested media asset is played for the preview time. The preview duration forms set by different types of assets can be different. For example, for movie-like assets, the trial-view duration may be set to 6min, that is, when the user playing authority is a common member, only a movie 6min picture can be played. For some short video assets, the trial-view duration can be a specified proportion of the total video duration, for example, the trial-view duration is 10% of the total video asset duration.
While the server 400 transmits the media asset data stream, the display device 200 may receive the media asset data stream fed back by the server 400. And the media asset data stream is a complete data stream or a trial viewing data stream. If the media asset data stream is a complete data stream, the display 260 can be directly controlled to display the media asset data stream, so as to complete the normal on-demand process. And if the media asset data stream is a trial viewing data stream, controlling the display 260 to jump to the authority authentication interface after the trial viewing time of the media asset data stream is displayed.
For example, when a user with a common member right clicks "film a" that has been already shown in the showing list, the display device 200 may jump to a detail page of the "film a" for video on demand, and since the video can be completely on demand only by the VIP member right, the display device 200 may pop up a right authentication interface after playing the "film a" for 6 min. The permission authentication interface may include prompt text, for example, "the current movie is tried out, and please activate the VIP member when the user wants to continue playing" and a "VIP activation" button is provided below the prompt text, and when the user clicks the button, the display device 200 may be triggered to jump to the VIP activation interface.
As can be seen, based on the above-described embodiment, the display apparatus 200 may determine the play path of the user. When a user watches a pay film in a live broadcast mode, the film can pass authentication without paying and can be played for the user; when the user requests the paid film independently, the user can request the paid film completely according to the request logic after paying. Therefore, the embodiment can enable the showing list not only to contain free films, but also to contain partial paid films beneficial to popularization, thereby being capable of greatly enriching the live broadcasting form and improving the user experience.
As shown in fig. 16, in some embodiments, when the selected asset is the current showing asset, due to the limitation of the live broadcast logic, the display device 200 can only play the showing data stream from the current time, which will not meet the requirement that some users want to completely view the asset, and therefore, in order to meet the viewing requirement of different users, the display device 200 may control the display 260 to display the first selection interface when the asset is selected as the current showing asset in the playing instruction. As shown in fig. 17, the first selection interface is used to enable the user to specify the playing mode indicated by the current playing instruction, and therefore the first selection interface includes a live option and a click option.
After the first selection interface is displayed, the user may designate a play function to be performed through the first selection interface, and thus the display apparatus 200 may receive a mode selection instruction input by the user through the first selection interface and parse an option selected by the mode selection instruction in response to the mode selection instruction. If the mode selection instruction selects the live broadcast option, sending a live broadcast access request to the server 400 to acquire a media asset data stream; if the mode selection instruction selects the on-demand option, an on-demand verification request is sent to the server 400 to trigger the server 400 to verify the play right of the current user.
Through the first selection interface, the user can convert live broadcasting of the currently played media assets into on-demand broadcasting of the currently selected media assets, so that the display device 200 can play the currently played media assets from the beginning, and the watching requirements of the part of users who want to watch the media assets completely are met.
Based on the above embodiment, if the selected asset is not the currently showing asset, the on-demand function of the display device 200 will be triggered, but since some users do not have the on-demand right of the selected asset, in order to enable users without playing right to view the complete content of the asset, in some embodiments, the display device 200 may control the display 260 to display the second selection interface. The second selection interface is used for enabling the user to reserve the live broadcast process of the selected media assets, and therefore, the second selection interface comprises a reservation option and an on-demand option.
After the second selection interface is displayed, the user may designate a play mode through the second selection interface, and thus, the display apparatus 200 may receive a mode selection instruction input by the user through the second selection interface. If the mode selection instruction selects the on-demand option, an on-demand verification request is sent to the server 400 to trigger the server 400 to verify the play permission of the current user, and a normal on-demand flow is completed.
If the mode selection instruction selects the appointment option, the display device 200 may extract the show time of the selected asset and generate a reminder event based on the show time to display an appointment reminder interface at the show time. For example, the user clicks on movie F, which is not yet played in the show list, and the movie will be shown at 20: 18. The display device 200 may pop up a second selection interface after the user selects movie F, which is not playing. After the user clicks on the appointment option in the second selection interface, the display device 200 may extract the show time 20:18 of movie F and generate a reminder event with a reminder time of 20: 18. When the time reaches 20:18, the display device 200 may display an appointment reminder interface, where the appointment reminder interface may include the text "movie F, which is concerned by you, starts showing, please watch through the" story cinema "channel" to remind the user to watch live through the live entry interface corresponding to movie F.
Therefore, through the second selection interface, the live broadcast of a specific film can be realized through the reservation function under a conventional on-demand system, the watching requirements of users who do not have the broadcasting authority are met, and the user experience is improved. It should be noted that, while displaying the reservation prompting interface, the display device 200 may also prompt the user that the selected asset starts showing through signals such as sound, terminal communication prompt, and the like, so as to obtain a better prompting effect.
Based on the foregoing embodiments, in some embodiments of the present application, a server 400 is further provided, where the server 400 includes: the device comprises a communication module, a service module, an authentication module and a processor.
