In this embodiment, after determining the target router, it is necessary to configure connection information for the target router, and provide necessary connection routing conditions for automatic device networking. The connection information can be configured for the target router through a plurality of preset ways. For example, a server calls a control interface of the target router to issue a connection information configuration instruction, and configures the connection information of the target router as the target connection information, or calls a control interface of the target router to issue a connection information configuration instruction through a client program installed in the mobile terminal, and configures the connection information of the target router as the target connection information, so that the target router updates the current connection information into the target connection information, and the target router is connected to the to-be-networked intelligent device.
