The region selection operation may be implemented by a user through a touch (using a touch screen by an external display device) or the like, or may be implemented by a user through a sliding mouse or the like by an external mouse or the like.
The above-mentioned user realizes an example of the region selection operation by means of touch and the like: a user may use a finger or stylus to draw an arbitrarily shaped enclosed area in a display screen. The drawn closed region may be used as a region to be screenshot selected by the region selection operation, that is, at least a part of a display region indicated by the screenshot instruction.
The above-mentioned user realizes an example of the region selection operation by means of touch and the like: the user may set at least three boundary points in the display screen using a finger or a stylus. The area to be screenshot, i.e. at least part of the display area indicated by the screenshot instruction, can be determined by at least three boundary points.
The target display information corresponding to at least part of the display area indicated by the screenshot instruction can be determined in various ways.
The target display information may be, for example, bitmap information of display content corresponding to the at least partial display area.
In some application scenarios, the content displayed in the partial display area may include: at least part of the display content of an application.

And 203, acquiring target display information corresponding to at least part of the display area indicated by the screenshot instruction from the system by using the screenshot application.
In this embodiment, the external display device of the mobile terminal is a display device. When the mobile terminal is externally connected with the display device, the display mode is switched from the mobile phone display mode to the desktop display mode.
In this embodiment, the mobile terminal may determine a screenshot instruction of the user according to the received screenshot operation of the user. The screenshot operation may include a screenshot triggering operation of the user and a region selection operation performed after the triggering operation as described in the embodiment shown in fig. 1.
The determination of at least a part of the display area indicated by the screenshot instruction of this embodiment is the same as or similar to the related part of the content in the embodiment shown in fig. 1, and is not described herein again.
In some application scenarios, the preset screenshot application may be an embedded application embedded in the preset application. In these application scenarios, the preset screenshot application and the preset application may share a main process.
And after a user sends a screenshot instruction based on the preset application, calling the process or the thread of the preset screenshot application through the main process of the preset application. Therefore, the preset screenshot application can realize the corresponding screenshot function.
In other application scenarios, the preset screenshot application may be an application program installed in an operating system. That is, the preset screenshot application and the preset application have independent processes. In these application scenarios, after the user issues a screenshot command based on the preset application, the preset screenshot application may be invoked across processes.
Taking an android operating system as an example, memory areas among processes in the android operating system are isolated from each other. If one process needs to access data of other processes, a cross-process communication mode is needed. The android operating system uses a memory mapping file method (mmap method) to map a certain address space of each of two processes to a cache region of a system kernel, so that the two processes can share information of the address space, and further, the two processes of different applications can realize mutual information transmission based on the memory mapping file method.
The process of the preset application can call the preset screenshot application in a cross-process mode through the memory mapping file method.
After the preset screenshot application is called, the information of the screenshot instruction can be sent to the preset screenshot application. In practice, the preset application may transmit memory field information storing information of the screenshot instruction to the preset screenshot application in a cross-process communication manner.
In some optional implementations, the step 202 may include the sub-step 2021: and accessing a system memory based on the preset screenshot application, and acquiring the target display information corresponding to at least part of the display area from the system memory.
As an implementation manner, a preset reflection method may be built in the preset screenshot application. The preset reflection method is used for calling a preset system memory access method. The predetermined system memory access method may be provided by the operating system.
In such an implementation, the sub-step 2021 described above may include: and calling a preset system memory access method by using a built-in reflection method of the preset screenshot, and extracting the target display information from the information of the display content of the display screen obtained by accessing the system memory, which is returned by the preset system memory method.
Further, the calling of the preset system memory access method by using the preset screenshot built-in reflection method includes: and transmitting the position information indicated by the screenshot instruction to a preset screenshot application called by a cross-process communication mode. And extracting the target display information from the information of the display content of the display screen obtained by accessing the system memory, which is returned according to the preset system memory method, includes: and extracting the display information from the received information of the display content according to the position information by utilizing the preset screenshot application.
The information of the display content may be display information corresponding to the display content stored in the system memory. The display information here may be information identified in the form of bitmap data.
Typically, the default system memory access method is set to prohibit access. In this embodiment, the preset screenshot application may call the system memory access method through a reflection method. The system memory access method can access the content stored in the system memory. Typically, the content stored in the system memory is the display information being displayed by the application. The display information may include information characterized by bitmap data (bitmap). In addition, the display information also includes the mapping relationship between each bitmap data and each pixel in the display screen.
Further, the preset system access method may read target display information of the current display content of each application stored in the memory from the system memory according to at least a part of the display area. And sending the target display information to the preset screenshot application.
The preset application can determine the position information of at least part of the display area indicated by the screenshot instruction.
The preset application may transfer the determined position information of the at least part of the display area to the preset screenshot application. For example, the storage field storing the position information of at least part of the display area is transferred to the preset screenshot application by using the cross-process communication mode.
After receiving the display information corresponding to the current display content returned by the preset system memory access method, the preset screenshot application can extract target display information from the display information of the current display content of each application according to the position information.
And 204, converting the target display information into a picture by using the screen capture application to obtain a screen capture result, and displaying the screen capture result.
In this embodiment, the preset screenshot application may be used to convert the target display information in the bitmap data format into the picture format by using a preset format conversion method, so as to obtain a screenshot result.
The screenshot result can be displayed in a display window of a preset application.
And the screenshot result can be displayed in windows of other applications according to the instruction of the user.
Referring to fig. 3, a schematic diagram of a screenshot method of the present disclosure is shown. As shown in fig. 3, when the external display device is used as the display device of the mobile terminal, the mobile terminal operates in a desktop mode, that is, the display mode of the display content is switched from the mobile phone display mode to the desktop display mode. In the desktop display mode, the display content of the application may be displayed in the form of a window. At least one application may be run simultaneously, for example, a preset application and other applications may be run simultaneously. In the mobile terminal, a user initiates a screenshot instruction through a preset application. The preset application may invoke a preset screenshot application. The preset screenshot application may be an independently running application. The preset screenshot application can be called by the preset application in a cross-process mode. The preset application may send information 301 requesting a screenshot to the preset screenshot application. After receiving the information of requesting screenshot, the preset screenshot application may call a preset system memory access method through a reflection method, and send the information of requesting screenshot to the preset system memory access method 302. The preset system memory access method captures display information 303 of current display contents of preset applications and other applications in the memory in the system memory. The preset system memory access method sends bitmap data 304 containing display information to the preset screenshot application. The preset screenshot application determines target display information according to at least part of the display area indicated by the screenshot instruction. The target display information is format converted and the target display information is converted into a picture 305. The preset screenshot application may save the picture.
