Referring to fig. 1, a flow diagram of one embodiment of a method for displaying information is shown, in accordance with the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 1, the method for displaying information includes the steps of:
step 101, in response to detecting that the display device is switched, acquiring information of the switched display device.
The execution subject of the method for displaying information may be a terminal device, a target application running on the terminal device, or a server of the target application.
The following description will be made with the target application as the execution subject.
The target application may be various target applications, and may include, but is not limited to, a video playing type target application, an audio playing type target application, a multimedia conference client, and the like.
The terminal device may be a terminal device having a display screen. The terminal equipment can also be connected with an external display device.
After the terminal equipment is connected with the external display device, a user can select the external display device as the current display device and also can select a display screen of the terminal equipment as the current display device. Specifically, after the external display device is connected to the terminal device, the display device to be used may be selected in various ways. For example, a physical key for selecting the display device may be provided in the main body of the terminal device, or a display device selection item may be provided in the display interface of the display screen of the terminal device itself. In some application scenarios, the display selection item may be set in a system setting of the terminal device. After the terminal equipment is connected with the external display device, a user can select the current display device through the physical key or the display device. References to connections in this disclosure refer to electrical connections.
The target application may detect a display device provided in the terminal device, and when the display device is switched, the target application may detect that the display device is switched. For example, after the user performs an operation on the display device selection item, the system may transfer information of the user's selection operation to the target application. The target application may determine that the display device of the terminal device has been switched.
The step 101 may include: the target application detects whether the display device of the terminal equipment is switched or not through a first preset interface provided by a system running on the terminal equipment.
In these alternative implementations, the first pre-interface may be an access interface provided by the operating system of the terminal device to the target application. The upper operating system may provide a Display class. The first preset interface may be, for example, a method of getDisplayId (). The Display apparatus used by the current application is acquired by the method of getDisplayId () of the system Display class. getDisplayId () is equal to DefaultDisplayId by default (default terminal device display screen ID is 0). When an external display device exists and is displayed, the getDisplayId () value will not be equal to the DefaultDisplayId. Whether the current display device is switched can be judged by judging whether the return value of the interface changes. In addition, whether the switched display device is an external display device or a default display device of the terminal equipment can be determined according to the return value.
The information of the display device includes information for indicating that the display device is an external display device, or information for indicating that the display device is a display device of the terminal equipment.
And 102, determining a target display mode from preset display modes based on the information of the display device.
Here, the preset display mode may include a desktop display mode and a mobile phone display mode.
In some application scenarios of the present embodiment, the information of the display device may include, for example, type information of the display device. Here, the type information of the display device may be used to indicate whether the display device is a display device of the terminal device itself or an external display device, for example. In these application scenarios, if the type information of the display device indicates that the currently used display device is the display device of the terminal device itself, the target display mode may be a mobile phone display mode. On the other hand, if the type information of the display device indicates that the currently used display device is an external display device, the target display mode may be a desktop display mode.
In addition, in other application scenarios of the present embodiment, the information of the display device may include, for example, type information of the display device and size information of the display device. In these application scenarios, if the type information of the display device indicates that the currently used display device is the display device of the terminal device itself, then the size of the display device of the terminal device itself can be further determined. If the size of the display device per se exceeds a first preset size threshold, the target display mode can be a desktop display mode; if the size of the display device itself does not exceed the first preset size threshold, the target display mode may be a mobile phone display mode. On the other hand, if the type information of the display device indicates that the currently used display device is the external display device, the size of the external display device can be further judged. If the size of the external display exceeds a second preset size threshold, the target display mode can be a desktop display mode; if the size of the external display does not exceed the second preset size threshold, the target display mode may be a desktop display mode.
Note that the desktop mode here is similar to a Personal Computer (PC) mode. In the desktop mode described above, the information displayed by the target application may be displayed in the form of a window. The currently active window in the target application may be displayed in a form that does not completely cover or cover the inactive window.
In the mobile phone display mode, the target application is displayed in the form of an interface. The interface of the active window completely covers the interface of the inactive window.
Step 103, displaying the target application in the target display mode.
The target application software package can comprise a display component corresponding to a desktop display mode and a display component of a mobile phone display mode.
The target display mode can be determined to be a desktop display mode or a mobile phone display mode according to the information of the switched display device.
After the target display mode is determined, the target application may be displayed using the display component corresponding to the target display mode.
In the method provided by this embodiment, information of a display device after switching is acquired by responding to detection of switching of the display device; determining a target display mode from preset display modes based on the information of the display device; the target application is displayed in the target display mode, so that the target display mode matched with the switched display device is automatically matched when the display device is switched by the target application, the operation for switching the display mode is reduced, and the user experience is improved. In addition, in the scheme, the target application acquires the information of the switched display device through the interface of the system, and does not directly perform independent adaptation on a certain system or certain platforms, so that the universality of the scheme under different systems is improved.
Continuing to refer to FIG. 2, a flow diagram of another embodiment of a method for displaying information in accordance with the present disclosure is shown. The method for displaying information includes:
step 201, in response to detecting that the display device is switched, determining whether the switched display device is an external display device.
In this embodiment, when the target application detects that the display device of the terminal device is switched, it may be determined whether the switched display device is an external display device.
In practice, the target application may detect whether the display device of the terminal device is an external display device through a first preset interface provided by a system running on the terminal device.
Further, whether the switched display device is an external display device or not can be determined according to the return value.
Step 202, in response to determining that the switched display device is an external display device, determining a target display mode based on the state parameters of the external display device.
The status parameters may include, for example, a first status parameter and a display parameter indicating activation or non-activation of the external display device.
When the parameter value of the first state parameter is a first preset parameter value, the external display device is represented to be started, and when the parameter value of the first state parameter is a second preset parameter value, the external display device is represented not to be started. The first preset parameter value may include, for example: on, 1, etc.; the second preset parameter value may include, for example: off, 0, etc.
The display parameter at least comprises one of the following parameters: screen size, screen aspect ratio, display direction.
In practice, the target application may obtain the state parameter through a preset interface.
For example, a preset state parameter interface for acquiring the first state parameter may be used to acquire a parameter value corresponding to the first state parameter.
After the terminal device is connected with the external display device, the terminal device can detect a first state parameter of the external display device.
The screen size may include a width and a height of the screen. The display orientation may include landscape display and portrait display.
When the switched display device is determined to be the external display device, the state parameters of the external display device can be acquired. The state parameters can be acquired according to a preset interface.
In practice, the state information of the external display device may be acquired through a preset interface provided by an operating system of the terminal device to the target application.
The following description will be given taking an example of obtaining display parameters of the size of the screen, after the terminal device is connected to the external display device. The terminal equipment can acquire the size information of the screen of the external display device through communication connection with the external display device.
The operating system may provide a Display class. The preset interface may include, for example, an interface provided by the Display class for acquiring a screen size. The Display class described above may be accessed through the interface for acquiring a screen size described above to provide a method for acquiring a size of a screen of a current Display apparatus, such as a getSize () method. A request for acquiring size information of a screen of the current display apparatus may be transmitted to the operating system through the above-described interface for acquiring a screen size. The operating system may transmit size information of the screen of the current display device to the target application according to the request.
The screen size information may include screen width information and screen length information. The screen width information and the screen length information may be characterized in pixels or may be characterized in units of length.
In some alternative implementations, the step 202 may include: and in response to detecting that the first state parameter is a parameter value used for indicating that the external display device is not started, determining that the target display mode is a mobile phone mode.
The second preset parameter corresponding to the external display device may include, but is not limited to, a parameter for indicating: shutdown, freeze, lock, unknown mode parameter values. If the second preset parameter corresponding to the external display device is used for indicating: and when the external display device is shut down, frozen, locked or unknown, the external display device is not started. The external display device cannot display application information. Therefore, the application terminal still needs to be displayed in the display device of the terminal device itself, and the target display mode may be a display mode corresponding to the default display device of the terminal device itself. Taking a mobile phone as an example, when the mobile phone is externally connected with a display device, if the external display device is not started, the target display mode can be determined to be the mobile phone mode.
The target display mode is determined according to the first state parameter by detecting the first state parameter of the external display device, so that when the external display device is connected and the external display device cannot display target application content, the applied information can be normally displayed on a display screen value of the terminal equipment.
In some alternative implementations, the step 202 may include: in response to detecting that the first state parameter is a parameter value indicating that the external display device is enabled for indicating that the external display device is enabled, determining the target display mode based on the display parameter.
If the first state parameter is a parameter value for indicating that the external display device is used for indicating the starting of the external display device, the target display mode can be determined based on the display parameter.
In some application scenarios, the display parameter includes a screen size.
In these application scenarios, when the screen size is greater than a preset screen size threshold, the target display mode may be determined to be the desktop mode. Otherwise, the target display mode is determined as the mobile phone mode.
The preset screen size threshold may include a screen width threshold and a screen height threshold.
In these application scenarios, if the screen size of the external display device is larger, it may be determined that the target display mode is the desktop mode, and in the desktop mode, information of other windows of the application may be displayed besides the current active window of the application in the screen. The screen of the external display device can be fully utilized.
In other application scenarios, the display parameters include screen size and screen aspect ratio.
In these application scenarios, the step 202 may include: and determining that the target mode is a desktop mode in response to determining that the screen size and the screen width-to-height ratio both meet preset conditions.
In these application scenarios, the target mode may be determined to be the desktop mode when the screen size is greater than a preset size threshold and the screen aspect ratio is greater than a preset aspect ratio threshold.
The predetermined size threshold may be 960 (pixels) × 640 (pixels), for example.
The preset aspect ratio threshold may be, for example, 1.4.
The preset size threshold and the preset aspect ratio threshold may be set according to an application scenario, and are not limited herein.
In other application scenarios, the display parameter may further include a display direction.
The display orientation may include landscape display and portrait display.
In these application scenarios, when the display direction is vertical display, the target display mode may be a cell phone mode.
In other application scenarios, the display parameters may include a display direction, a screen size, and a screen aspect ratio.
In these application scenarios, the step 202 may include: and in response to determining that the screen size is larger than a preset screen size threshold and the screen width-to-height ratio is larger than a preset width-to-height ratio threshold, the display direction is horizontal display, and the target mode is determined to be a desktop mode.
Through the process of determining the target display mode, the accuracy of matching the display mode of the target application in the external display device and the external display device can be improved.
Step 203, displaying the target application in the target display mode.
Step 203 may refer to the description of the embodiment shown in fig. 1, which is not repeated herein.
Compared with the embodiment shown in fig. 1, the present embodiment highlights a step of determining a target display mode according to the state parameters of the external display device when the display device is switched to the external display device. The accuracy of matching the determined target display mode and the external display device can be improved through the steps. In addition, the scheme can be applied to external display devices with multiple sizes, and the universality of the scheme is improved.
