With the improvement of the performance of the intelligent terminal, for example, the mobile phone hardware includes a Central Processing Unit (CPU), a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), a memory, and the like, the performance is continuously improved, and the mobile phone can improve the display effect through an external display.
At present, the process is usually adopted to distinguish the local display from the external display, and when the application program is switched between the local display and the external display, the process needs to be killed and restarted. However, when the application programs of the intelligent terminal are displayed on the external display, the data structures are all on the external display, that is, the data structures are strongly related to the external display, and when the external display is removed, the data structures corresponding to the application programs lose carriers and cannot exist independently; if the process is not killed, the application program has an interface display problem because the application program can cache some data in the external display, such as a currently displayed screen and the like, and when the display is switched, the information of the previous screen can be mistaken when the application program reuses the display. For example, when the application program plays a video on the external display, after switching to the local display, the process of the application program needs to be closed and the application program displayed on the local display needs to be restarted, and at this time, the video cannot be played continuously. Therefore, when the application program is switched between the two displays, the speed is slow and data is lost, which causes the change of the display interface. In order to solve the above problem, embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for controlling an application program, and the method is described below with reference to specific embodiments.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a method for controlling an application according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, where the method may be performed by a control apparatus of the application, where the apparatus may be implemented by software and/or hardware, and may be generally integrated in an electronic device. As shown in fig. 1, the method includes:
The target application may be any one of application programs included in the terminal device, and the type and the number of the target application programs are not limited in the embodiment of the present disclosure, for example, the target application program may be a video program, a reading program, an instant messaging program, and the like. The first display may be a display connected to the terminal device, in this embodiment of the present disclosure, the terminal device may configure a local display and connect to an external display, and the first display may be the local display or the external display.
In the embodiment of the disclosure, the terminal device may start the target application program based on a trigger operation of a user, store display data of the target application program locally, and display the display data in a display interface of the target application program in a local display or an external display, where a specific display may be selected by the user. The display data refers to related display content that the target application includes and needs to be displayed, and the specific data type is not limited, for example, the display data may include video, audio, and/or text, and for example, when the target application is a video program, the display data may be one piece of video data. And the display data in the embodiment of the disclosure is stored in the local of the terminal device, and is sent to the corresponding display for displaying when the display is needed.
Optionally, when the first display is an external display, displaying a display interface of the target application program in the first display, including: and based on display parameters of the local display and the external display, displaying the display interface of the target application program in the external display after zooming adjustment, wherein the display parameters comprise pixel size, resolution and aspect ratio.
The display parameters in the embodiment of the present disclosure may include pixel size, resolution, aspect ratio, and the like, where the resolution refers to the number of pixels in a unit distance or area, and the pixel size refers to the number of pixels that can be displayed most in width and height of the display. Local display parameters refer to parameters for a local display. Specifically, when the first display is an external display, after a target application program is started, display parameters of a local display and the external display can be acquired, the display parameters of a display interface of the target application program are the same as those of the local display, and the display parameters of the display interface of the target application program are displayed in the external display after the pixel size of the display interface of the target application program is scaled in an equal proportion according to the display parameters of the external display. The resolution and the aspect ratio of the display interface of the target application program after zooming are the same as the display parameters of the local display, but the pixel size is different, and the pixel size of the display interface of the target application program is smaller than that of the external display, so that the display interface of the target application program can be displayed in the external display.
At present, because the resolution of an external display of a terminal device is usually different from that of a local display, and the design of a user interface of an application program is generally based on the display design of the terminal device itself, for example, the external display is designed based on a mobile phone, and the display of the application program in the external display is usually horizontal screen display, but horizontal screen application at the present stage is very few, and a third-party application program is displayed on the external display, because the adaptability and compatibility are not high, display problems may be caused, for example, stretching deformation of the display interface, inconsistent layout, no opening of the display interface, and the like, and problems of resource loading errors, incapability of running of the application program, and the like are serious.
In the scheme, for the local display and the external display, the display interface of the application program is displayed according to the resolution ratio and the aspect ratio of the local display, and only the size is zoomed, so that the display effect on the external display is completely consistent with that of the local display, the compatibility effect is greatly improved, the display problem is avoided, and the display effect is improved.
And 102, receiving a display switching request, and switching a display interface from the first display to the second display for displaying.
The second display is another display different from the first display, the first display is a local display, and the second display is an external display; or the first display is an external display, and the second display is a local display; or the first display and the second display are two different external displays, which is not limited specifically. The display switching request is a request for switching the display of the display content.

Specifically, after the terminal device displays the display interface of the target application program on the first display, when it is detected that the user starts the trigger operation on the target application program on the second display, it may be determined that the display switching request is received. And then, closing the display interface of the target application program on the first display, sending the display data to the second display, and displaying the display interface of the target application program on the second display, wherein the display interface comprises the display data.
Because the display data is weakly associated with the specific display, the problem of data loss is not caused when the display is switched, and the efficiency and the display effect of the switching display are improved.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the method for controlling an application program may further include: adjusting the display identification associated with the target application from the identification of the first display to the identification of the second display; and displaying the data to be displayed of the target application program on a display interface of the target application program in the second display based on the identifier of the second display.
The display identifier associated with the target application program is used for representing a display which is required to be displayed by a display interface of the target application program, and after the display interface of the target application program is displayed in the first display, the identifier of the first display can be associated with the target application program for subsequent event response, data display and the like; after the display interface of the target application program is switched from the first display to the second display, the display identifier associated with the target application program may be adjusted to be the identifier of the second display, and after the subsequent terminal device receives the trigger operation of the user on the target application program on the second display, the data to be displayed may be sent to the second display based on the identifier of the second display, and the data to be displayed may be displayed on the display interface of the target application program in the second display. The data to be displayed refers to the relevant data of the target application program which needs to be displayed on the second display based on the triggering of the user.
In the scheme, the display is associated with the application program to distinguish the application program, so that the terminal equipment performs data processing and display based on the display associated with the application program, and the display effect of the application program on different displays is ensured.
