Abstract

A device (10) for fixing a drawer (3) to a movable rail (7) of a pull-out guide (6), comprising: -a holder (11) fixed on the rail (7) and on which positioning adjustment means (12, 18) are provided for adjustably positioning the drawer (3) with respect to the rail (7); and a housing (14) which is placed on the holder (11) and which is connected via at least one connection section (15) to at least one mounting element (16) which is fixable to a side frame (4) of the drawer (3), wherein the connection section (15) is elastic and the positioning adjustment means (12, 13) are adjustable upon mounting of the mounting element (16). This allows the drawer (3) to be secured against being lifted off the rail (7).

Device for fixing drawers and piece of furniture
Technical Field
The invention relates to a device for fixing a drawer to a movable rail of a pull-out guide, comprising: a holder fixed to the rail, the means for height adjustment being provided on the holder so as to adjustably position the drawer relative to the rail; and a housing fitted on the holder, the housing being connected via a connection section to at least one mounting element fixable to a side frame of the drawer, and to a piece of furniture.
Background
DE 20 2009 002 002 U1 discloses an anti-lifting device for drawers, in which dowels can be fastened in holes of the drawer frame. The dowels are integrally formed on a web that is securable to a plate secured to the rail of the pull-out guide. This allows the drawer to be secured against lifting by the dowels. However, a disadvantage of this design is that the drawer must be height-adjusted before the dowels of the anti-lifting device are assembled. In the installed position, no further adjustment is possible, which may result in the dowel being pulled out of the hole.
Disclosure of Invention
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a device for fixing a drawer to a movable rail of a pull-out guide, which device enables improved handling during adjustment.
This object is solved by a device having the features of claim 1.
In the device according to the invention, the housing is fitted to the holder on the rail, which housing is connected via a connection section to at least one mounting element which can be fixed to the side frame of the drawer, wherein the connection section is of elastic design and the adjustment means (for example for height adjustment) are adjustable when the mounting element is mounted. The mounting element can thus be fastened to the drawer as an anti-lifting device in a ready-to-use manner, wherein positioning adjustment is still possible after assembly. This simplifies handling, since the anti-lifting device can be fixed to the holder and drawer and subsequently also be adjusted, for example to adjust the position of the front panel of the drawer.
Preferably, the mounting element, the connection section and the housing are integrally formed. The mounting element and the connecting section and the housing can be made of plastic, for example, wherein the cross section of the connecting section is selected such that it can move elastically to a certain extent. Preferably, the connecting section comprises at least one deformable contour, so that the connecting section can compensate for the adjustment range of the adjustment device and be repositioned by a bending movement during the adjustment. Preferably, the profile is wave-shaped. Alternatively, the connecting sections can also have different contours. The adjustment range of the height adjustment and the corresponding movement of the mounting element relative to the housing may for example be in the range between 0.2mm and 20mm, in particular 0.5mm to 4mm.
To facilitate alignment of the drawer relative to the pull-out guide, the height adjustment device may include a rotatable knurled nut that forms a bearing surface of the side frame of the drawer. The knurled nut may be rotatably mounted on the vertical bolt such that rotation of the knurled nut raises or lowers the drawer. Other adjustment mechanisms, such as rotatable bolts or latches or clamping mechanisms, may also be used.
The mounting element is preferably designed as a dowel, which can be fixed in a hole in the side frame, in particular by clamping. Optionally, a plurality of dowels may also be provided on the housing, each dowel being connected to the housing via a connecting section. For example, in order to increase the safety against the drawer being lifted off, the mounting element can be held in each case on the opposite side of the housing via the connecting section. However, for a compact design, a single connection section with mounting elements is sufficient.
For tool-less assembly of the anti-lift device, the housing may have a pocket that may be pushed onto the webbed retainer of the track. Then, during assembly of the pull-out guide, the webbed retainer may be fixed, for example by welding or riveting, so that then, during assembly of the drawer, only the housing is pushed onto the retainer. Subsequently, the mounting element, in particular a dowel, can then be inserted into the hole on the underside of the side frame to hold it in place in a clamping manner.
According to the invention, there is also provided a piece of furniture having a furniture body and one or more drawers, wherein at least one drawer is movable on a rail of the pull-out guide, on which rail a device for fixing the drawer is arranged. The drawer can then still be adjusted in height in the installed position without having to disassemble the lift-off prevention device from the mounting element and the connection section or disengage the mounting element from the hole.
Alternatively, the lift-off prevention device according to the invention can also be used in a household appliance, in particular in a refrigerator, having a main body and at least one drawer which is movably held on the main body by means of at least one pull-out guide having a movable rail, wherein the at least one drawer is fixed to the movable rail of the pull-out guide by means of at least one device for fixing the drawer. In this case, it is advantageous if the mounting element is fastened in a clamping manner in a hole in a side wall of the drawer, which side wall corresponds to the side frame in the case of a drawer of the piece of furniture.

Detailed Description
The piece of furniture 1 comprises a furniture body 2 on which one or more drawers 3 are movably supported. Each drawer 3 comprises two side frames 4 arranged on opposite sides of the base 5. The side frames 4 are preferably made of a wooden material, but may also be made of other materials.
Each drawer 3 is movably secured on opposite sides on the pull-out guide 6. For this purpose, the drawer 3 is supported on the movable rail 7 of the pull-out guide, wherein a device 10 is arranged between the rail 7 and the side frame 4 of the drawer for fixing the drawer 3 to the movable rail 7 of the pull-out guide 6.
In fig. 3A and 3B, the lower drawer 3 is shown in a pulled-out position, and in the enlarged cross-sectional view of fig. 3B, the device 10 is shown. The device 10 comprises a housing 14 which is slid onto the webbed retainer 11 fixed to the track 7. A fixing bolt 13 is arranged on the holder 11, and a knurled nut 12 is rotatably mounted on a thread on the holder. The head portion of the fixing bolt 13 is inserted into the hole of the side frame 4. The fixing bolt 13 may be made as one or more pieces and in particular the head may be made as a separate part.
The device 10 is fixed to the holder 11 by a housing 14, wherein the housing 14 is connected via a connection section 15 to a mounting element 16 in the form of a dowel. The mounting element 16 engages in a hole 40 of the side frame 4 and is secured there in a clamping manner.
In fig. 4A and 4B, the drawer 3 is shown in a raised position relative to fig. 3A and 3B, as can be seen in particular from the detailed view of fig. 4B. By rotating the knurled nut 12 along the threaded section of the fixing bolt 13, the side frame 4 supported on the knurled nut 12 has been raised, wherein the adjustment travel is for example between 0.2mm and 20mm, in particular between 0.5mm and 4mm. By lifting the side frame 4, the connection section 15 has been elastically deformed when the mounting element 16 is fixed to the connection section 15 in the side frame 4. Due to the high elasticity of the connecting section 15, a subsequent adjustment of the mounted drawer 3 can be performed without damaging the anti-lifting device, whereby a practical and reliable anti-lifting device is achieved.
Whether the drawer 3 is in the lowered position (fig. 3B) or in the raised position (fig. 4B), in operation, the drawer 3 may be secured by the device 10 against being lifted off. When the drawer 3 is lifted, the connecting section 15 holds the mounting element 16 to the housing 14, so that the drawer 3 cannot be lifted off without breaking the connecting mechanism. In this case, the connection of the fixing bolts 13 to the holes in the side frames 4 of the drawer 3 is not released.
Fig. 5 and 6 show the pull-out guide 6 without the drawer 3. The pull-out guide 6 comprises a fixed guide rail 8 on which the movable rail 7 is held. Optionally, a central rail extending the extension may also be provided between the rail 7 and the guide rail 8.
A hook 70 is located on the rail 7 in the rear region, which hook can be inserted into an opening in the rear wall of the drawer 3 in order to fix it in the rear region and prevent it from lifting. Means 10 for fixing the drawer 3 to the rail 7 are arranged in the front region of the rail 7.
Furthermore, a web-like activator 20 is located on the track 7, which can be coupled to a drive 21 of the closing or opening device. The drive 21 is pretensioned by a spring and can be moved along a guide rail 22, wherein such closing or opening devices are known per se.
In fig. 5, the pull-out guide 6 is in the closed position and the device 10 is arranged between the rail 7 and the vertical web of guide rails 8. In fig. 6, the rail 7 is in the pulled-out position.
In fig. 7A and 7B, the means 10 for fixing are shown without the drawer 3, and it can be seen that the holders 11 project laterally from the rail 7 on the sides of the guide rail 8. On the holder 11, a rotatable knurled nut 12 for height adjustment is shown, as well as an upwardly protruding fixing bolt 13, the head section of which can be adjusted together with the knurled nut 12 or arranged in a fixed manner on the fixing bolt. The housing 14 is pushed onto the holder 11, wherein the depth of insertion is limited by a stop on the housing 14. On the side opposite the mounting element 16, an actuating section 17 is integrally formed on the housing 14, said actuating section protruding laterally.
The housing 14 with the connecting section 15 and the mounting section 16 is shown in detail in fig. 8A to 8D. A pocket 19 is formed on the housing 14, into which a plate-shaped holder 11 can be inserted, wherein opposite edges of the holder 11 are formed with the pocket 19 in a U-shaped manner as counter edges. A stopper 25 is formed at the end of the pocket 19, which limits the insertion depth of the holder 11 and thereby ensures accurate positioning of the housing 14. Integrally formed on the housing 14 is a connecting section 15 which is flexible and in the exemplary embodiment has one or more corrugations and thus compensates for movement of the mounting element 16 relative to the housing 14. The wave-shaped profile allows the mounting element 16 to be lifted during the adjustment operation, wherein however the connecting section 15 has sufficient strength to prevent the drawer 3 from being lifted beyond this point.
In fig. 9A and 9B, the drawer 3 is shown in bottom view on the rail 7. The housing 14 is located on the holder 11 and the mounting 16 is located in a hole on the underside of the side frame 4, so that the drawer 3 is prevented from being lifted off. If the drawer 3 is now to be detached from the pull-out guide, the user can pull the housing 14 away from the holder 11, as shown in fig. 10A and 10B. By pulling the housing 14 from the holder 11, the housing 14 can be rotated about the mounting element 16, so that the lift-off prevention device is deactivated. The housing 14 may be rotated 30 deg. to 180 deg. to then lift the drawer 3 off the rail 7. When rotated by about 180 °, the housing 14 is again located below the side frames 4, so that it is not damaged during transport of the drawer 3 and is still firmly fixed.
For reassembly, the drawer is put back on the rail 7 and the housing 14 is slid onto the holder 11.
In the exemplary embodiment shown, only one mounting element 16 is held to the housing 14 via the connection section 15. Two connection sections 15, each connected to a mounting element 16, may also be provided on the housing 14. In this case, however, the housing 14 is pulled out laterally and placed under the holder 11 for disassembly. It cannot pivot about the mounting element 16.
In the exemplary embodiment shown, only the fixing of the rail 7 to the drawer 3 via the device 10 is described in more detail. Corresponding second means may also be provided on the opposite side of the second pull-out guide 6.
In the embodiment shown, the device for positioning adjustment shown is designed as a device for height adjustment. Additionally or alternatively, further means known per se may be provided for adjustment in the longitudinal direction of the pull-out guide and/or transversely thereto.

Claims (13)

1. Device (10) for fixing a drawer (3) to a movable rail (7) of a pull-out guide (6), comprising a holder (11) which is fixed to the rail (7) and on which a positioning adjustment device (12, 13) is provided in order to adjustably position the drawer (3) relative to the rail (7), and having a housing (14) which is fitted to the holder (11) and which is connected via at least one connection section (15) to at least one mounting element (16) which can be fixed to a side frame (4) of the drawer (3), characterized in that the connection section (15) is of elastic design and that the positioning adjustment device (12, 13) is adjustable when the mounting element (16) is mounted, wherein the mounting element (16), the connection section (15) and the housing (14) are integrally formed, and wherein the connection section (15) has at least one deformable contour which is a wave-shaped contour.
2. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that the mounting element (16), the connection section (15) and the housing (14) are made of plastic.
3. The device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the positioning adjustment means comprise a rotatable knurled nut (12) forming a bearing surface for the side frame (4) of the drawer (3).
