Description

用以成型带热塑性材料芯层的部件的设备
本发明涉及构件尤其是用于汽车工业的构件的成型,每个构件都有一热塑性材料的芯层,在该芯层上敷施一层美术涂层。
更明确地说,本发明涉及用以成型部件的设备,每个该部件都有一芯层,它是由两层热塑性材料沿接合线连接在一起的。
近年来,本申请人已经开发了一种成型技术,它已形成各种专利申请的主题,该技术规定使用压缩空气在两层加热的热塑性材料之间注射以使该材料靠贴模的内壁成形。已经发现此成型技术非常通用,可用于生产许多不同部件。
尤其是,此成型技术在成型部件的同时还能使一覆盖层施于热塑性材料的芯层上去。而且此热塑性材料芯层和任何覆盖层都用形成该成型设备的部件的切割元件进行修整。
本发明的目的是完成此成型技术的改进,它指向精确切割热塑材料层和任何覆盖层,以得到一美术效果。
根据本发明,其目的是通过提供这样的成型设备而实现的,该设备具有形成权利要求主题的特性。
本发明的主要新颖特征包括由一个半模携带的锐利切割部分与另外的半模携带的大体上是平坦的支垫表面的协作关系实现冲切型切割。在操作中,锐利的切割表面决不直接接触支垫表面,因为间隔装置限制了半模彼此之间的相对运动,因此当半模处于闭合位置时在锐利的切割表面和支座表面之间有一预定的间隙。这样就显著降低了模头的磨损并能使成型设备的合格性能超期有效地保持不变。
仅仅作为非限制性例子,在以下的详细叙述过程中并参考附图,本发明进一步的特性和优点就变得更清楚了,在这些图中:
图1所示为一具有根据本发明的成型设备的压机,
图2是用本发明的设备生产的部件的透视图,
图3是沿图2的III-III线的剖面图,
图4是沿图1的IV-IV线的剖面简图,和
图5和6是对应图4的剖面图,显示了成型工艺过程。
先参考图1,一用1标示的压机有成型设备2,它包括在压机1底座6上的下部半模头4和由板10携带的上部半模8,板10沿导杆13垂直移动,压机按常规方式,通过液压缸12操作。
图2和图3显示了由本发明设备生产的部件14。在所示的实施例中,部件14是用于车辆的遮光板,但以下所述的设备可用于生产各种部件,即可用于汽车工业(仪表盘或类似物)也可用于其它工业。代表性地,部件14是由沿着周长接缝20连接在一起的两层热塑性材料16、18构成的芯形成的。
热塑性材料层16、18,可在它们的外表面通过纺成的或无纺的织物、偶联的PVC等的覆盖层][22,24覆盖,该覆盖层可在成型该部件的过程中敷施于热塑性材料层上,并通过将该覆盖层压贴在该被加热的热塑性材料压缩而简单地固定该覆盖层。
参考图4,可以看出,两个半模4、8的周边部分的成形限定了一切割区域22,该切割区域22限定在锐利部分24和大体上平坦的支垫表面26之间。在该图所示的实施例中,该锐利部分24与上部半模8形成一整体,而支垫表面26形成在下部半模头4上,但这种布置也可以颠倒过来。
尖锐部分24的顶点位于支垫表面26的中间点,因此在尖锐部分24的顶点和支座表面26的内刃30之间有一小间隙,表示为28。
间隙28的尺寸在图4中被放大以便于理解。间隙28实际上是一毫米的十分之几的等级,因此在完成的部件中觉察不到由于连接表面32、34之间不良匹配而造成的缺陷。该锐利的切割部分与大体平直的支垫表面相配合这一事实简化了模的结构,因为两个削尖的表面并不需要良好适配。
在两个半模4、8之间插入的间隔元件,如在图4中标示36的,具有限定模4、8彼此之间相对运动的作用,因此当半模处于图4所示的闭合构形时,在锐利切割部分24和支垫表面26之间存在一预定的间隙,标示为38。这意味着压机的闭合力通过间隔元件36被解除,而在沿着切割区域22的半模4、8之间并没有任何直接接触。
可以理解,由于沿切割区域的半模之间没有接触,因而能使模头有较长的寿命,因为这避免了锐利切割部件24上的应力集中。这种应力集中会使该模迅速损坏。
上部半模8携带一导杆40,该导杆用以支托一定位架,该覆盖层在该架上延伸以便敷施到要成型的部件上。
现在参考图5和6叙述成型设备的操作。
图5显示的是准备状态,在此之际,半模4、8处于打开位置,第一覆盖层42、第一层加热的热塑材料44和第二层加热的热塑材料46顺序叠置在下部半模4上,向模内部提供压缩空气的注嘴48放置于两层塑性材料44和46之间。
在此第一状态下,通过注嘴48提供的空气压力相当低,其目的只是为了达到防止两材料层44、46之间发生粘接作用。第二覆盖层50被放置在架子52上,该架子由导杆40支托。
如图5所示,在各层已排列好之后,两个半模4,8闭合,通过注嘴48提供高压空气。如图6所示,压缩空气喷射推动热塑性材料层44、46贴到模的内表面上。热塑性材料层的成形,覆盖层在部件外表面的敷施,以及位于模外部的热塑性材料层和覆盖层部分的切割都在一次步骤中完成。
经验表明,甚至在锐利的切割部分24和支垫表面26之间不直接接触的情况下,就可以切割覆盖层42和50以及热塑性材料层44和46。事实上在切割区域22(图4)中,该间隙38是如此之小以致可以允许在热塑性材料层之间和覆盖层之间的连接区域精确切割并显示出优良的表面光洁度。

Claims (4)

1.一种用以成型部件的设备,每个部件都有沿连接线(20)连接在一起的由两层热塑性材料(16、18)形成的芯层,该设备包括第一和第二半模(4、8),它们可以彼此相对运动并且有相互配合的切割装置用于切割热塑材料层(16、18)和任何覆盖层(42、50),其特征在于,切割装置包括由第一半模头(4)携带的锐利的切割部分(24)和由第二半模头(8)携带的大体上平坦的支垫表面(26),该设备还包括间隔板装置(36),用于限定两个半模(4、8)相互之间的相对运动,因此当半模(4、8)处于闭合位置时,锐利的切割部分(24)和支垫表面(26)之间有一预定的间隙(38)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,当两个半模头(4,8)处于闭合状态时切割部分(24)的顶点与朝向模头内部的支垫表面(26)的内刃(30)相距一定的距离(28)的状态。
3.根据权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,锐利的切割部分(24)用一弧形轮廓连接到成形表面(32)。
4.根据权利要求2所述的设备,其特征在于,支垫表面(26)的内刃(30)用一弧形轮廓连接到成形表面(34)。
