The invention discloses a water-based double-component thick-coating ultralow VOC high-solid clear primer and a preparation method thereof, wherein the primer comprises a main paint and a curing agent, and the main paint comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 55-70% of liquid epoxy resin, 0.2-0.4% of dispersant, 0.5-1% of anti-settling agent, 0.2-0.4% of defoaming agent, 0.2-0.4% of wetting and leveling agent, 15-25% of filler, 8-12% of active diluent and 3-8% of cosolvent; the high-solid clear primer disclosed by the invention has the advantages of high solid content, very high crosslinking density, relatively compact and smooth formed film, high hardness, excellent transparency and filling property, excellent sinking resistance, and especially has the advantage of no bubble in thick coating, the coating times of the primer can be reduced, the VOC (volatile organic compound) emission in the coating process is obviously reduced, the coating labor cost is saved, and the working efficiency of furniture enterprises is greatly improved.

7. The aqueous two-component thickly coatable ultralow VOC high solids clear primer according to claim 1, wherein the cosolvent is propylene glycol methyl ether and ethanol mixed at a mass ratio of 4: 6.
8. The aqueous two-component thickly coatable ultralow VOC high solids primer according to claim 1 wherein the curing agent is a self-emulsifying modified polyamide with an amine value of 180-220mgKOH/g and a solids content of 100%.
9. The method of preparing the aqueous two-component thickly coatable ultra low VOC high solids clear primer according to claim 1 comprising the steps of:
