The invention discloses ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber which comprises ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber, carbon black, paraffin oil, a moisture absorbent, sulfur, a vulcanization activator, a flow assistant and an accelerator, wherein the weight percentages of the ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber, the carbon black, the paraffin oil, the moisture absorbent, the sulfur, the vulcanization activator, the flow assistant and the accelerator are (26-30), (20-22), (9-11), (0.5-1.5), (0.1-0.3), (2-3), (0.2-0.4) and (0.5-1.5). The invention has good corrosion resistance and aging resistance.

Technical Field

Background
The water stop belt or the expansion joint is needed in bridge construction, the water stop belt or the expansion joint is mostly made of ethylene propylene diene monomer, the ethylene propylene diene monomer is rubber formed by copolymerizing ethylene and propylene through solution, a third monomer is introduced, the ethylene propylene diene monomer is basically a saturated high polymer, and the ethylene propylene diene monomer is very good in ageing resistance, weather resistance, electrical insulation performance, chemical corrosion resistance and impact elasticity.
