Abstract

The invention provides a method and a system for realizing high-speed redirection of a KVM image based on a domestic BMC chip, which can reduce the processing work of redundant data coding compression and network transmission and improve the display quality. Due to the locally changing characteristics of screen video data, data between adjacent frames is mostly identical, resulting in a considerable degree of repeated redundant data for encoding compression and network transmission data. The design of the hardware module in the aspect of video is basically consistent with that of a BMC chip popular in the market, and the hardware module is compatible with a universal KVM implementation scheme and has good applicability. The data volume of actual compression transmission is small, a large amount of network bandwidth can be saved, and therefore higher-quality far-end image display can be supported. The strategy of preferentially updating the display area of the mouse can more quickly feed back the change of the display picture to the client, thereby effectively reducing the delay.

Description

Method and system for realizing KVM image high-speed redirection based on domestic BMC chip
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of embedded systems, in particular to a method and a system for realizing high-speed redirection of a KVM image based on a domestic BMC chip.
Background
KVM OVER IP is also called digital KVM, and KVM is an abbreviation of Keyboard, display, and Mouse (Keyboard, Video, Mouse), which is to remotely control a plurality of computers through a local set of Keyboard, display, and Mouse. It collects the video signal from the local computer, converts into digital information through analog-to-digital conversion, compresses into IP packet, transmits through internet or special network, the remote control console receives the IP packet, unpacks, converts, presents on the screen of the control console; the administrator operates the keyboard and mouse of the console accordingly, a series of control commands sent out are combined into an IP packet by the console, and the IP packet is sent back to the local side through the network, and is restored into keyboard and mouse signals after being unpacked, so that the local computer executes corresponding actions, and remote control is realized.
In a server product, different use scenes of a server are different, and in some cases, the server is required to be operated only in a remote mode and not connected with a display locally, so that when the display is not connected locally, the display card on a mainboard of the server still needs to output. Currently, many servers use BMC as a display card, and a BMC chip is used as a server to implement KVM functionality. Compared with a KVM transmission switch, the KVM function implemented by the BMC chip is limited by the fact that the image quality is generally not high in software and hardware design, and the delay is large and needs to be improved.
Patent document CN109086634A discloses a BMC chip management method, system, and a BMC chip and a computer-readable storage medium, where the BMC chip includes: the method comprises the following steps: the protection register is used for controlling the output level of the IO pin of the BMC chip; and the IO pin is connected with a write protection pin of the Flash chip. When the BMC chip receives a write protection command, the write protection function of the Flash chip is enabled by controlling the protection register; judging whether the firmware program of the BMC chip needs to be updated, if so, controlling the protection register so that the Flash chip closes the write protection function; and after the updating is finished, the protection register is controlled again to enable the write protection function of the Flash chip. The patent still leaves room for improvement in process configuration and technical effect.

module M4.2: the video comparison module initializes a comparison start position as R0, Rinitial as R0, and sets a current comparison position as R0: the initial comparison sequence is R0- > R1- > R2- >, the sequence is repeated in such a way, and each time one round of comparison is finished, the current frame buffer and the previous frame buffer are updated once;
module M4.3: designing a module for realizing cache exchange management, and uniformly managing cache allocation, cache address transmission and comparison area setting work;
module M4.4: the comparison sequence of R0-Rn is automatically adjusted according to the position of the current mouse, the RFB server is responsible for receiving the position data of the mouse in real time, calculating the area where the current mouse is located, setting the area as Ra, storing the last area as Ra-1, and judging whether Ra is changed relative to Ra-1;
module M4.5: when the mouse position changes to cause the area where the mouse is located to change and the area where the mouse is located after the change is Ra, the RFB server informs the cache exchange management module, and the cache exchange management module executes setting: rinitial and Rcompare Ra, namely the next comparison area is Ra;
module M4.6: acquiring video data cache and managing result information;
module M5: constructing an RFB server software module according to video data cache and management result information, realizing refreshing in a specified area based on jpeg data compressed by a 2D video engine hardware module and area division information provided by the video data cache management software module, and acquiring refresh result information of the specified area;
module M6: constructing and realizing an RFB client software module according to the refresh result information of the designated area, receiving video data and protocol information sent by an RFB server software module based on an RFB Tight protocol, decompressing by a web player and then refreshing and displaying in the designated area, and acquiring the refresh display result information of the web player in the designated area after decompression;
module M7: and refreshing display result information in a designated area after the Web player is decompressed, constructing a Web UI software module serving as a Web page frame for supporting the KVM video Web player, and acquiring the realization result information of the KVM image high-speed redirection based on the domestic BMC chip.
6. The system for implementing high-speed redirection of KVM image based on domestic BMC chip of claim 5, wherein module M1 comprises:
module M1.1: and customizing a VGA driving software module aiming at a domestic BMC chip, and collecting RGB data of each frame of video to a specified block in a video data cache region.
7. The system for implementing high-speed redirection of KVM image based on domestic BMC chip of claim 5, wherein module M1 comprises:
module M1.3: and opening the video data cache region through the operating system so that the shared memory module can access the video data cache region.
8. The system for implementing high-speed redirection of KVM image based on domestic BMC chip of claim 5, wherein module M5 comprises:
module M5.1: and constructing an RFB server software module according to video data cache and management result information, finishing video data transmission and screen refresh control by adopting an RFB light protocol based on jpeg data compressed by a 2D video engine hardware module and region division information provided by the video data cache management software module, realizing refresh in a specified region and acquiring refresh result information of the specified region.
