Abstract
The application discloses an electronic device, which comprises a middle frame and a display module; the middle frame comprises a frame part for forming the side wall of the electronic equipment, and a supporting structural part is arranged on the inner surface of the frame part; the display module comprises a display screen and a light-transmitting cover plate covering the display screen, the display module is covered on the middle frame, and the support structural member is used for limiting the light-transmitting cover plate to be in contact with the inner surface of the frame part; and adhesives are filled between the light-transmitting cover plate and the inner surface of the frame part and between the light-transmitting cover plate and the support structural member. In the embodiment of the application, the supporting structural member is additionally arranged on the inner surface of the frame part of the middle frame, has a supporting effect and is positioned in the area filled with the adhesive, so that a proper gap for dispensing can be kept between the display module and the middle frame, and finally the display module can be stably fixed on the middle frame.

Technical Field
The application belongs to the technical field of intelligent terminal products, and particularly relates to an electronic device.
Background
With the rapid development of electronic technology, electronic devices such as smart phones and tablet computers are becoming more and more popular. Most electronic devices can display images by using a display module arranged on the electronic devices. At present, the technology of curved surface display screens is relatively mature, and smart phones with curved surface screens, also called waterfall screen smart phones, are released by mobile phone enterprises of various brands, have a better display effect, and can improve the use experience of users.

Disclosure of Invention
The application aims at providing an electronic equipment to when solving current electronic equipment's display module assembly and center bonding fixed, the glue between the two is glued the gap size and is wayward, easily leads to glue excessive, and influences the problem of the stability of display module assembly and center equipment.

It should be noted that the electronic device provided in the embodiments of the present application may be, but is not limited to, a smart phone. The electronic device provided by the embodiment of the application can also be an electronic product with a display module, such as a tablet computer, an electronic book, an intelligent wearable device and the like, and the electronic device is not limited in the application.
According to the electronic device provided by the embodiment of the application, as shown in fig. 2 to 9, the electronic device includes a middle frame and a display module connected with the middle frame. The middle frame can be used for supporting and fixing the display module. The display module can be used for displaying image information.
The middle frame comprises a frame portion 1 for forming a side wall of the electronic equipment, and a supporting structural member 2 is arranged on the inner surface of the frame portion 1. The display module comprises a display screen 3 and a light-transmitting cover plate 4 covering the display screen 3. The display module is covered on the middle frame, and the support structural member 2 is used for limiting the light-transmitting cover plate 4 to be in contact with the inner surface of the frame portion 1; and adhesives 6 are filled between the light-transmitting cover plate 4 and the inner surface of the frame part 1 and between the light-transmitting cover plate 4 and the support structural member 2.
The adhesive 6 may be glue, for example. Specifically, in the process of assembling the display module for the electronic device, a dispensing gap 5 may be formed between the display module and the middle frame, and the dispensing gap 5 may be always maintained at a predetermined size (e.g., not easily reduced) based on the support structure 2 provided on the frame portion 1. When liquid glue is filled into the glue dispensing gap 5, the glue does not overflow, the design can ensure that the glue path has certain thickness and uniformity, and the display module is favorably and stably assembled on the middle frame.
In the conventional display module assembly process of the electronic device, as shown in fig. 1, although the dispensing gap 5 is preset between the middle frame and the display module, no structure which may be used for supporting is designed between the side portion of the display module and the middle frame, so that the dispensing gap 5 is easily reduced in the assembling process of the display module due to the pressure, and thus the phenomena of poor sealing performance and poor connection stability between the display module and the middle frame, such as glue overflow and falling, or poor sealing performance due to glue overflow, are easily caused.
In the embodiment of the application, reasonable improvement is carried out through the structure to the center, add supporting structure 2 on the internal surface of its frame portion 1, this supporting structure 2 has certain supporting location effect, this design can form stable, even some glue gap 5 between display module assembly and center, and difficult in the assembling process because of the screen presses the power (assembly pressure) big and cause the condition that this some glue gap 5 reduces, the binder of filling in this some glue gap 5 just can not produce the excessive like this, finally can guarantee that display module assembly bonds stably and fixes on the center. Moreover, in the dispensing sealing between the display module and the middle frame, the support structure member is not exposed in the region filled with the adhesive (such as glue), and the appearance quality of the electronic device is not affected.
It can be seen that, in the embodiment of the application, through add bearing structure 2 on the center, can avoid appearing some glue bad phenomena such as glue overflow, drop in sealed, also can not appear the leakproofness between display module assembly and the center bad to and the display module assembly and the not good phenomenon of connection stability of center, overcome the drawback among the prior art.
In the embodiment of the present application, referring to fig. 5, the middle frame includes a frame portion 1 for forming a side wall of an electronic device, a plurality of support structural members 2 are disposed on an inner surface of the frame portion 1, and the plurality of support structural members 2 are uniformly distributed on the inner surface of the frame portion 1.
The design that the plurality of supporting structural members 2 are arranged on the inner surface of the frame part 1 of the middle frame can ensure that a certain distance is kept between the light-transmitting cover plate 4 of the display module and the inner surface of the frame part 1, so that glue is filled between the light-transmitting cover plate 4 and the inner surface of the frame part 1 and between the light-transmitting cover plate 4 and the supporting structural members 2, and the formed glue path is uniform in thickness and good in consistency. Finally, the display module can be stably and fixedly bonded on the middle frame, and the sealing performance between the display module and the middle frame can be improved.
In an alternative example of the present application, referring to fig. 5, the device housing 7 of the electronic device has four side walls, that is, the frame portion 1 has four side portions, wherein at least two support structures 2 are disposed on the inner surface of each side portion. Therefore, the display module is stably supported.
Of course, more than two support structures 2 can be provided on each side. Preferably, the plurality of support structure members 2 are uniformly arranged.
In an alternative example of the present application, as shown in fig. 2 to 4, the support structure 2 is a raised structure raised from the inner surface of the frame portion 1. The protruding structure can be used to form a stable dispensing gap 5 with an unchangeable size between the display module and the middle frame, so as to fill adhesive 6 (for example, glue) between the light-transmitting cover plate 4 and the inner surface of the frame portion 1 and between the light-transmitting cover plate 4 and the support structure 2.
The cross section of the convex structure can be in a regular shape such as an arc shape, a rectangle shape, a trapezoid shape and the like. Of course, the display module may have other shapes as long as the display module can be stably supported, and those skilled in the art can flexibly adjust the shapes according to actual needs, which is not limited in the present application.
Specifically, the supporting structural member 2 is a raised structure with a rectangular cross section, and on the basis of the structure, the height of the supporting structural member 2 is 0.1 mm-0.13 mm, the width is 0.3 mm-0.4 mm, and the length is 0.6 mm-1.0 mm. The supporting structure member 2 has a small size and is easy to be uniformly arranged, and after the adhesive 6 is filled between the light-transmitting cover plate 4 and the inner surface of the frame portion 1 and between the light-transmitting cover plate 4 and the supporting structure member 2, the adhesive 6 can also shield the supporting structure member 2. In addition, the height of the supporting structural member 2 can make the size of the dispensing gap 5 be 0.1 mm-0.13 mm, and the size range is suitable for the assembly requirements of most mobile phones.
In an alternative example of the present application, the center frame is formed as a single-piece structure with the support structure 2. The steel plate has the characteristics of good appearance consistency and high strength. Moreover, the processing and manufacturing difficulty is small. In an alternative example of the present application, the support structure 2 may be CNC machined on the inner surface of the frame portion 1. The volume is small and the arrangement is uniform. Easy processing and controllable cost.
Of course, the inner surface of the frame portion 1 may be formed by other processing methods.
In an alternative example of the present application, referring to fig. 2 to 4, the supporting structural member 2 is a protruding structure, and the supporting structural member may be a metal member or a rigid plastic member. The supporting structural part is made of metal and has the characteristic of hard texture. The support structure 2 is small and can be hidden in an adhesive 6 (e.g. glue) without affecting the appearance of the product.
In the embodiment of the present application, the support structure 2 is not limited to the above-mentioned convex structure. Other configurations are possible.
It should be noted that fig. 3 is a schematic view illustrating a dispensing gap 5 formed between the display module and the middle frame, but the dispensing gap 5 is not filled with an adhesive 6 (i.e., glue). Fig. 4 is a schematic view illustrating that a dispensing gap 5 is formed between the display module and the middle frame, and an adhesive 6 (i.e., glue) is filled in the dispensing gap 5, that is, the adhesive 6 is filled between the transparent cover plate 4 and the inner surface of the frame portion 1 and between the transparent cover plate 4 and the support structure 2. The adhesive 6 may shield the structural support member 2.
In an alternative example of the present application, referring to fig. 6 to 9, an inner surface of the rim portion 1 of the middle frame is provided with a fitting groove 11; the supporting structural part 2 is arranged in the assembling groove 11, and the supporting structural part 2 is of a stepped structure. In this example, a fitting groove is formed in the inner surface of the frame portion 1 to receive and fix the support structure 2.
As shown in fig. 8, the supporting structural member 2 is, for example, a stepped structure, and includes a first step surface 21 and a second step surface 22 higher than the first step surface 21; the first step surface 21 is used for avoiding the display screen 3, and the second step surface 22 is used for supporting the light-transmitting cover plate 4. Thus, after the adhesive 6 is filled between the transparent cover plate 4 and the inner surface of the frame portion 1 and between the transparent cover plate 4 and the support structure member 2, the formed adhesive path has good consistency and uniformity, and the display module and the middle frame can be stably connected together.
In an alternative example of the present application, the support structure 2 is adhesively fixed to the step surface 11. The connection mode is simple, the cost is low, and the stability is good.
It should be noted that fig. 6 and 7 are schematic diagrams illustrating the dispensing gap 5 formed between the display module and the middle frame, but the dispensing gap 5 is not filled with the adhesive 6 (i.e., glue). Fig. 9 is a schematic view illustrating that a dispensing gap 5 is formed between the display module and the middle frame, and an adhesive 6 (i.e., glue) is filled in the dispensing gap 5, that is, the adhesive 6 is filled between the transparent cover plate 4 and the inner surface of the frame portion 1 and between the transparent cover plate 4 and the support structure 2. Wherein the adhesive 6 may completely cover the support structure 2.
In the embodiment of the application, the display module can be a curved surface display module, for example. Therefore, the formed electronic equipment has the effect of a curved screen, the display effect can be improved, and a user has good use experience.
For example, the display module comprises a plane part and curved surface parts positioned on two sides of the plane part; and the curved surface part is fixedly bonded with the frame part of the middle frame.
The display screen may be, for example, an active matrix organic light emitting diode screen (AMOLED screen). Compared with the traditional display panel, the AMOLED has the characteristics of high reaction speed, high contrast ratio and wide viewing angle, has a good display effect, and can improve the use experience of a user.
The edge of the display screen 3 is bonded and fixed to the inner surface of the frame portion 1 by, for example, a double-sided tape. Therefore, the whole display module can be firmly arranged on the middle frame.
In an optional example of the present application, the middle frame further includes a bottom plate portion, the frame portion 1 is connected to an edge of the bottom plate portion and disposed around the bottom plate portion, and the frame portion and the bottom plate portion enclose at one side to form an accommodating cavity; the display screen 3 is located in the accommodating cavity, for example, and the light-transmitting cover plate 4 covers the accommodating cavity.

1. An electronic device, comprising:
the middle frame comprises a frame part for forming the side wall of the electronic equipment, and a supporting structural part is arranged on the inner surface of the frame part;
the display module comprises a display screen and a light-transmitting cover plate covering the display screen, the display module is covered on the middle frame, and the supporting structural part is used for limiting the light-transmitting cover plate to be in contact with the inner surface of the frame;
and adhesives are filled between the light-transmitting cover plate and the inner surface of the frame part and between the light-transmitting cover plate and the support structural member.
2. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the middle frame and the support structure are an integrally formed structure.
3. The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein a plurality of the support structures are provided, and the plurality of support structures are uniformly arranged on the inner surface of the bezel portion.
4. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the support structure is a raised structure.
5. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the support structure is formed on the bezel portion by way of CNC machining.
6. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the support structure is a metal or rigid plastic.
7. The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein an inner surface of the rim portion of the middle frame is provided with a fitting groove;
the supporting structural part is arranged in the assembling groove and is of a stepped structure.
8. The electronic device of claim 7, wherein the support structure includes a first step surface and a second step surface higher than the first step surface;
the first step surface is used for avoiding the display screen, and the second step surface is used for supporting the light-transmitting cover plate.
9. The electronic device of claim 7, wherein the support structure is adhesively secured to the step surface.
10. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the display module is a curved display module;
the display module comprises a plane part and curved surface parts positioned on two sides of the plane part;
and the curved surface part is fixedly bonded with the frame part of the middle frame.
