Abstract

一种电连接器,其包括具有若干端子槽的绝缘本体及收容在所述端子槽内的若干端子;所述绝缘本体具有上表面与下表面,所述端子槽贯穿所述上、下表面;所述端子包括固定在所述端子槽内的第一固持部与第二固持部、所述第一、第二固持部之间形成一突出于所述绝缘本体上表面的弹性部以及自第一固持部下缘延伸的焊接部;所述弹性部包括第一接触部和第二接触部,所述第一接触部和第二接触部分别卡接于芯片模块,由于弹性部通过本身的弹性张力来卡固于芯片模块的导电槽,使得系统所需施加的正向压迫力可大幅降低,减轻了电连接器及电路板的负荷。

电连接器
【技术领域】
本发明有关一种电连接器,尤其涉及一种用于连接芯片模块的电连接器。
【背景技术】
随着大数据、云计算、物联网等概念的蓬勃发展,几乎每个新产品都在谈高速传输应用,各应用模块均朝向高速方向发展,以实现前面提到的高速传输应用,用来连接各个模块之间的输入/输出接口当然也需要高速传输,而作为电脑、服务器等核心部分的中央处理器则朝向更高速、接脚更多的方向发展,对于用来连接中央处理器与主机板之间的电连接器也提出了越来越高的要求。为了能达到更高效的运算,中央处理器的导电垫片数量从过去的一千多个到现在的四千多个,未来更可能高达八千多个导电垫片。由于电连接器的接脚数量是与中央处理器导电垫片的数量相应设置,因此,系统需提供更大的正向压迫力以使电连接器的接脚弹性抵接于中央处理器的导电垫片上。系统的正向压迫力从一千多个接脚的八十五公斤,到四千多个接脚的一百五十公斤,未来八千多个接脚可能更需要高达二百五十公斤以上的正向压迫力,此正向压迫力恐以超过电连接器或主机板所能承受,可能会对电连接器或主板造成损坏。
因此,确有必要提供一种能减低正向压迫力的电连接器,以进一步改进上述问题。
【发明内容】
本发明的目的在于提供一种能减低正向压迫力的电连接器。
为实现上述目的,本发明采用如下技术方案:一种电连接器,其包括具有若干端子槽的绝缘本体及收容在所述端子槽内的若干端子;所述绝缘本体具有上表面与下表面,所述端子槽贯穿所述上、下表面;所述端子包括固定在所述端子槽内的第一固持部与第二固持部、所述第一、第二固持部之间形成一突出于所述绝缘本体上表面的弹性部以及自第一固持部下缘延伸的焊接部;所述弹性部包括第一接触部和第二接触部,所述第一接触部和第二接触部分别卡接于芯片模块。
进一步地,所述第一接触部设于弹性部相邻于第一固持部的一侧,所述第二接触部设于弹性部相邻于第二固持部的一侧。
进一步地,所述第一接触部和第二接触部相对倾斜延伸设置且呈八字状。
进一步地,所述芯片模块包括若干向内凹设的导电槽,所述弹性部插入并卡持于所述导电槽内,且在左右方向上接触所述导电槽。
进一步地,所述第一接触部及第二接触部通过弹性部本身的弹性张力而分别抵持于导电槽内的两侧壁。
进一步地,所述第一接触部与第二接触部间设有一第三接触部,所述第三接触部呈水平状。
进一步地,所述第三接触部与第一接触部及第二接触部间呈逐渐缩小状,所述第三接触部抵接于所述芯片模块的导电槽的底壁。
进一步地,所述第一固持部与第二固持部呈板状结构,且所述第一固持部和第二固持部平行设置。
进一步地,所述第二固持部设有一卡钩可固定于绝缘本体内,以避免第二固持部脱出于端子槽,所述第二固持部设有一自下缘向内弯折延伸的挡止部,所述挡止部用以限制弹性部的水平压缩。
进一步地,所述电连接器包括框设于绝缘本体外围的加强片、分别可转动组装于加强片的相对两侧的压板以及将压板固定至加强片的摇杆。
与现有技术相比,本发明至少具有以下有益效果:第一接触部和第二接触部通过弹性部本身的弹性张力来卡固于导电槽,使得系统所需施加的正向压迫力可大幅降低,减轻了电连接器及电路板的负荷。
所述第一接触部及第二接触部分别卡接于导电槽内的两侧壁,所述第三接触部抵接于芯片模块的导电槽的底壁。形成二点卡接三点导电的结合,从而可提高电连接器的性能。

如下具体实施方式将结合上述附图进一步说明本发明。
【具体实施方式】
以下,将结合图1至图4介绍本发明电连接器100的具体实施方式。电连接器100用于连接中央处理器(CPU)等芯片模块104至电路板106,所述芯片模块104的下表面还包括若干向内凹设的导电槽1042。所述电连接器100包括具有若干端子槽(未标号)的绝缘本体105及收容在所述端子槽内的若干端子20。所述电连接器100还包括框设于绝缘本体105外围的加强片101、分别可转动组装于加强片101的相对两侧的压板102及将压板102固定至加强片101的摇杆103。
如图1至图4所示,所述绝缘本体105具有上表面1051与下表面1052,所述端子槽贯穿所述上、下表面1051、1052;所述端子20包括固定在所述端子20内的第一固持部21与自第一固持部21上缘弯折延伸出的第二固持部22,所述第一固持部21与第二固持部22间形成一突出于所述绝继本体105上表面1051的弹性部23、自第一固持部21下缘延伸的焊接部24。
如图2所示,所述弹性部23相邻于第一固持部21的一侧设有一第一接触部231、所述弹性部23相邻于第二固持部22的一侧设有一第二接触部232、所述弹性部23的顶端设有一第三接触部233,所述第三接触部233位于所述第一接触部231与第二接触部232之间且大致呈水平状。所述第一接触部231和第二接触部232为对应设置的斜边且大致呈八字状,所述第三接触部233与第一接触部231及第二接触部232间系呈逐渐缩小状,由于所述端子20的宽度增加,故其厚度可适当减小,所述第三接触部233的宽度亦可降到最小的极限状态,因此所述弹性部23的机械性能也得到大幅度提升,使得端子20在与所述芯片模块104连接的效果更佳且不易变形。
如图3和图4所示,所述芯片模块104与绝缘本体105结合时,所述端子20的弹性部23插入所述芯片模组104的导电槽1042中,由于弹性部23通过本身的弹性张力来卡持于导电槽1042,使得系统所需施加的正向压迫力可大幅降低,从而减轻了电连接器100及电路板106的负荷。
在本实施例中,所述第一接触部231及第二接触部232分别卡接于导电槽1042内的两侧壁,所述第三接触部233抵接于芯片模块104的导电槽1042的底壁。从而形成二点卡接三点导电的结合,进一步提高电连接器100的性能。
如图2和图3所示,所述第一固持部21与第二固持部22呈板状结构且第一、第二固持部21、22呈彼此平行设置。所述第一固持部21与第二固持部22具有相同的宽度,且所述第一固持部21的外侧缘设有固定倒刺26,所述第二固持部22设有一卡钩221可固定于绝缘本体105,可避免芯片模块104分离于电连接器100时,因第一、第二接触部231、232与导电槽1042间的卡合力过大而将第二固持部22拉出于端子槽内,导致弹性部23变形。所述第二固持部22设有一自下缘向内弯折延伸的挡止部25,所述挡止部25用以限制弹性部23的水平压缩,避免弹性部23因过度压缩而变形。
本发明通过在弹性部23的弹性张力固持于导电槽1042达成二点卡固,使得系统所需施加的正向压迫力可大幅降低,减轻了电连接器100及电路板106的负荷,并且可以根据实际需求调节该第一、第二接触部231、232的长度、宽度及斜度,故所述端子20可在保证机械性能的同时进一步地降低正向压迫力。
本发明所述第一接触部231及第二接触部232分别卡接于导电槽1042内的两侧壁,所述第三接触部233抵接于芯片模块104的导电槽1042的底壁,形成三点导电的结合,从而达到实现高速信号传输的需求。

Claims (10)

1.一种电连接器,其包括具有若干端子槽的绝缘本体及收容在所述端子槽内的若干端子;所述绝缘本体具有上表面与下表面,所述端子槽贯穿所述上、下表面;所述端子包括固定在所述端子槽内的第一固持部与第二固持部、所述第一、第二固持部之间形成一突出于所述绝缘本体上表面的弹性部以及自第一固持部下缘延伸的焊接部;其特征在于:所述弹性部包括第一接触部和第二接触部,所述第一接触部和第二接触部能够分别卡接于芯片模块之导电槽,所述第一接触部与第二接触部间设有连接第一、第二接触部并能够电性连接芯片模块的第三接触部,所述第二固持部设有一自下缘向内弯折延伸并抵接于第一固持部的挡止部,所述挡止部用以限制弹性部的水平压缩。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一接触部设于弹性部相邻于第一固持部的一侧,所述第二接触部设于弹性部相邻于第二固持部的一侧。
3.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一接触部和第二接触部相对倾斜延伸设置且呈八字状。
4.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述导电槽自芯片模块之表面向内凹设形成,所述弹性部插入并卡持于所述导电槽内,且在左右方向上接触所述导电槽。
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一接触部及第二接触部通过弹性部本身的弹性张力而分别抵持于导电槽内的两侧壁。
6.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第三接触部呈水平状。
7.如权利要求6所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第三接触部与第一接触部及第二接触部间呈逐渐缩小状,所述第三接触部抵接于所述芯片模块的导电槽的底壁。
8.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一固持部与第二固持部呈板状结构,且所述第一固持部和第二固持部平行设置。
9.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第二固持部设有一能够固定于绝缘本体内的卡勾,以避免第二固持部脱出于端子槽。
10.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述电连接器包括框设于绝缘本体外围的加强片、分别可转动组装于加强片的相对两侧的压板以及将压板固定至加强片的摇杆。
