Description

Bicycle head
The application is a divisional application, and the application date of the original application is as follows: 9/13/2018; the application numbers are: 201811066989.0; the invention has the name: a variable speed drive device and a bicycle head comprising the same.
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a bicycle head, and more particularly, to a bicycle head including a variable speed drive.
Background
In recent years, the market of bicycles has been developed vigorously, and both racing bicycles and popular bicycles used as a travel tool and a recreation and entertainment are popular with consumers, so that manufacturers are forced to focus more on satisfying various demands of users on bicycles, and thus, the improvement and refinement of bicycle body materials, equipped functions, and the like are continued. For example, to improve the applicability of bicycles, it is common to configure a bicycle with a speed changing system so that a user can switch a chain to a different chainring according to his or her needs or in accordance with different terrain, thereby reducing or increasing the force required for pedaling.
Generally, the transmission system is divided into a mechanical transmission system and an electronic transmission system. The mechanical speed-changing system uses a speed-changing deflector rod to match with a transmission line to shift the front speed changer and the rear speed changer. The electronic speed-changing system uses a speed-changing button to match with a speed-changing control circuit to enable the front speed changer and the rear speed changer to switch gears. The sensitivity and accuracy of the electronic speed changing system are better than those of the mechanical speed changing system, and the hand feeling of the electronic speed changing system in control is lighter and more direct, so the electronic speed changing system is a trend of the development of the bicycle market at present.
With the generation of various riding requirements, for example, when a rider rides a bicycle to dive at a high speed, in order to improve the experience and effect of diving, the rider usually changes the way of holding the handlebar of the bicycle to change the riding posture, but the front and rear speed changing devices are usually assembled on the left and right sides of the handlebar of the bicycle, so that if the rider needs to shift gears in the process of diving, the rider needs to switch the holding position, that is, the riding posture needs to be changed again to smoothly shift gears, which not only causes inconvenience of gear shifting, but also easily causes accidents when the rider changes the riding posture under high-speed movement. Therefore, how to provide a convenient and safe gear shifting manner according to various riding requirements of users is one of the problems to be solved by related industry personnel
In view of the above, although some manufacturers propose to additionally assemble the extended speed-changing switch on the vehicle body, the extended speed-changing switch is conventionally connected to the controller by a cable, that is, each time one speed-changing switch is added, a corresponding cable needs to be additionally arranged, which is not only inconvenient to install, but also affects the overall appearance due to the arrangement of the cable. In addition, if a plurality of extended wireless speed change switches are installed, the manufacturing cost is greatly increased.
Disclosure of Invention
Accordingly, the present invention is directed to a bicycle head, so as to solve the problems of the expansion speed switch, such as inconvenient cable installation and influence on the overall appearance.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, a bicycle head comprises a bicycle handlebar, a first brake assembly, a second brake assembly and a first speed change driving device. The bicycle handlebar includes a central portion and two grip portions connected to opposite sides of the central portion. The first brake component and the second brake component are respectively arranged on the two handle parts. The first speed change driving device is detachably arranged on the outer surface of any one of the central part and the two handle parts and is separated from the first brake component and the second brake component. The first variable speed driving device comprises a wireless communication circuit board, a switch, an antenna and a battery. The switch is arranged on the wireless communication circuit board. The antenna is electrically connected with the switch through the wireless communication circuit board. The battery is electrically connected with the wireless communication circuit board, wherein when the switch is triggered, the antenna transmits a shifting signal.
The bicycle head disclosed by the foregoing is characterized in that the speed change driving device comprises a wireless communication circuit board, a switch, an antenna and a battery, and the speed change driving device can be selectively arranged at a proper position on a bicycle handlebar of the bicycle. Therefore, the variable speed driving device can be used as an independent wireless signal transmission center, not only can provide another way for a rider to advance or retreat, but also can increase the diversity and the flexibility of the operation.
Moreover, due to the wireless configuration, the use of the cable can be reduced, and the convenience of installation is further improved, and the problem that the cable routing influences the appearance design is avoided.
In addition, the distance from the center point of the assembly slot to the different sides of the assembly surface is different, so the assembly slot is offset on the assembly surface, so that the speed change driving device is offset relative to the bicycle handlebar. Therefore, the antenna can relatively protrude out of one side of the bicycle handle, so that the antenna is not blocked by the bicycle handle in a specific signal transmission direction, and the situation that the signal is blocked and weakened is avoided.
The above description of the present invention and the following description of the embodiments are provided to illustrate and explain the spirit and principles of the present invention and to provide further explanation of the invention as claimed in the appended claims.

Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a perspective view of a bicycle head and a speed change driving device thereof according to an embodiment of the present invention. This embodiment presents a bicycle head 9 with a variable speed drive 1 arranged thereon.
The bicycle head 9 is a mechanism adapted to be assembled to a handlebar of a bicycle and used for a bicycle rider (hereinafter, referred to as "rider") to grip and operate the bicycle while riding the bicycle. As shown, the bicycle head 9 includes a bicycle handlebar 91, a first brake assembly 92 and a second brake assembly 93. The handlebar 91 is a tube or rod bent into a specific shape, and can be made of metal or carbon fiber, but not limited to the material. In the present embodiment, the handlebar 91 includes a central portion 910 and two grip portions 920 connected to two sides of the central portion 910. The central portion 910 is a portion of the handlebar 91 that is a straight rod in the middle, and the two grip portions 920 are extended from the central portion 910 and bent to a shape suitable for the rider to hold in the riding posture. However, it should be noted that the grip 920 of the handlebar 91 is a bent handle in this embodiment, but the invention is not limited thereto. For example, in other embodiments, the grip portion may be configured as a linear bar along with the central portion.
The first brake assembly 92 and the second brake assembly 93 are respectively assembled on the two handle portions 920, and are respectively provided with brake levers (not numbered) for being pulled by a rider to respectively brake the front wheel and the rear wheel of the bicycle. In addition, in the present embodiment, the bicycle head 9 is configured with an electronic transmission system, so that an electronic transmission driving device (not shown) is further respectively assembled on the first brake assembly 92 and/or the second brake assembly 93, and a key (not numbered) of the electronic transmission driving device is, for example, disposed inside a brake lever of the brake assembly, and can be touched by a rider to send a shift signal (such as a shift-in signal and/or a shift-out signal), and the shift signal is transmitted to the front derailleur and/or the rear derailleur through an antenna (not shown) in the driving device.
The shift driving device 1 is disposed on the outer surface 911 of the handlebar 91 and separated from the first brake assembly 92 and the second brake assembly 93, but the position of the shift driving device 1 on the handlebar 91 is not limited, and the shift driving device 1 is disposed on the central portion 910 of the handlebar 91, and the shift driving device 1 can be disposed on one of the grip portions 920 instead according to different requirements. The manner of fixing the speed changing driving device 1 to the bicycle handlebar 91 can be, but not limited to, adhering with an adhesive or sleeving with a strap or a ring, and the like, and for convenience of illustration of some drawings, the drawings will be omitted.
It should be noted that in the present embodiment, besides the gear shifting driving device on the first brake assembly 92 and/or the second brake assembly 93, the rider can also perform the shift operation or the shift operation through the gear shifting driving device 1. Hereinafter, the shift drive device 1 will be explained.
Referring to fig. 2 to 4, fig. 2 is a partially enlarged exploded view of the variable speed driving device of fig. 1, fig. 3 is a partially enlarged detailed exploded view of the variable speed driving device of fig. 1, and fig. 4 is a view of fig. 3 from another perspective.
In this embodiment, the variable speed driving apparatus 1 includes a supporting base 110, a cover 120, a wireless communication circuit board 130, a switch 140, an antenna 150, a battery 160, a connector 170, a battery cover 180, and a dust plug 190.
The seat assembly 110 includes a bottom plate 111 and a sidewall 112, the bottom plate 111 is adapted to be assembled to an outer surface 911 of the handlebar 91, and the sidewall 112 is erected around the bottom plate 111. The sidewall portion 112 has a through hole 110s on one side and a gap 1101 on the other side. The carrier 110 is made of a material (e.g., a plastic material) highly transparent to radio waves, for example, so as to reduce the degree of blocking or interfering with radio signals, but the invention is not limited thereto.
The wireless communication circuit board 130 is mounted on the bottom plate 111 of the carrier 110, and the antenna 150 extends to one side of the wireless communication circuit board 130 to be integrated with the wireless communication circuit board 130, so as to be mounted on the bottom plate 111 together with the wireless communication circuit board 130. The wireless communication circuit board 130 is provided with a wiring (not shown) adapted to perform and control wireless communication, but the invention is not limited thereto. In addition, the position of the antenna 150 in the variable-speed driving device 1 is not limited in practice, and can be adjusted according to actual requirements.
The switch 140, the connector 170 and the battery cover 180 are all assembled on the wireless communication circuit board 130, and the switch 140 is between the connector 170 and the battery cover 180. Further, the switch 140 and the connector 170 are electrically connected to the wireless communication circuit board 130 and disposed on the wireless communication circuit board 130, so as to electrically connect the antenna 150 through the wireless communication circuit board 130. Wherein, the switch 140 is a touch-press type switch, and after being triggered, the switch can transmit a predetermined signal to the wireless communication circuit board 130, and the signal can be transmitted through the antenna 150; the connector 170 has a socket 170s corresponding to the through hole 110s of the sidewall 112; a space is formed between the battery cover 180 and the wireless communication circuit board 130 to accommodate the battery 160. As can be understood from fig. 2 to 3, when the wireless communication circuit board 130 with the switch 140 and the connector 170 thereon are installed in the carrier 110, the battery 160 can be inserted into the space between the battery cover 180 and the wireless communication circuit board 130 from the notch 1101 of the side wall 112 of the carrier 110, so that the battery 160 can be used as a power source for providing the operation of the variable speed driving apparatus 1.
The cover 120 is detachably assembled on the carrier 110, so as to surround the wireless communication circuit board 130, the switch 140, the antenna 150, the battery 160, the connector 170 and the battery cover 180 on the carrier 110 together with the carrier 110. In addition, the cover 120 has a through hole 120s, and when the cover 120 is assembled on the carrier 110, the through hole 120s corresponds to the through hole 110s on the sidewall 112 of the carrier 110, that is, the through hole 120s of the cover 120 and the through hole 110s of the carrier 110 are aligned with and communicated with the insertion hole 170s of the connector 170. In this case, the dust plug 190 can be sequentially inserted through the through hole 120s, the through hole 110s and the insertion hole 170s to prevent dust from entering the interior of the variable speed driving device 1 through these holes.
In addition, the cover 120 further has a pressing portion 121, the pressing portion 121 corresponds to the switch 140, and a protruding column 1211 is disposed on an inner side of the pressing portion 121 and extends toward the switch 140. In the present embodiment, the pressing portion 121 or the entire cover 120 is, for example, but not limited to, made of a soft material (such as rubber) with elastic restoring force. Therefore, a user can press the pressing portion 121 from the outside of the cover 120 to drive the protruding column 1211 to trigger the switch 140 by the deformation of the pressing portion 121, and a corresponding signal (e.g., a shift-in signal or a shift-out signal) generated when the switch 140 is triggered can be transmitted to an electronic device (e.g., an electronic speed-change driving device on the first brake assembly 92 or the second brake assembly 93) that has been previously paired with the speed-change driving device 1 through the antenna 150 via the wireless communication circuit board 130.
Thus, with the above-mentioned configuration of the variable speed drive 1, the variable speed drive 1 can be used as an independent wireless signal transmission center. In practical operation, referring to fig. 1 again, the shifting driving device 1 can be first paired with the shifting driving device on either one of the first brake assembly 92 and the second brake assembly 93, and then installed at a desired position (not limited to the central portion 910 of the handlebar 91 or one of the grip portions 920) according to the riding requirements. After the pairing is completed, the rider can instruct the paired transmission drive device to shift in or shift out by operating the transmission drive device 1. Specifically, after the variable-speed drive device 1 is paired with one of the aforementioned variable-speed drive devices, the rider can command the variable-speed drive device to perform a shift operation or a downshift operation by triggering the switch 140 of the variable-speed drive device 1 and transmitting a signal (such as a shift-in signal or a shift-out signal) of the switch 140 to the paired variable-speed drive device through the antenna 150.
With further reference to fig. 5, fig. 5 is a partially enlarged side sectional view taken along line 5-5' of fig. 1. As shown, the bottom plate 111 of the seat 110 has an assembly surface 1111 facing the handlebar 91 and serving as a surface of the seat 110 for assembly to the outer surface 911 of the handlebar 91. The assembly surface 1111 has a first side 1111a and a second side 1111b opposite to each other, and an assembly slot 1111s between the first side 1111a and the second side 1111 b. The mounting groove 1111s is shaped to fit the outer surface 911 of the handlebar 91 and is a structure of the mounting surface 1111 for fitting and fixing to the outer surface 911 of the handlebar 91. It is noted that the assembling slot 1111s is offset on the assembling surface 1111, as shown in the figure, a distance (e.g., d 1) from a center point C of the assembling slot 1111s to the first side 1111a of the assembling surface 1111 is different from a distance (e.g., d 2) from the second side 1111b, for example, d1 is greater than d2. The center point C is a virtual reference point through which the symmetrical center line of the assembly groove 1111s passes. The antenna 150 is located between the first side 1111a and the center point C of the assembly slot 1111s and is located closer to the first side 1111 a; that is, the distance from the end of the antenna 150 near the first side 1111a to the first side 1111a is smaller than the distance from the end to the center point C of the assembly slot 1111s. With this design, when the speed-changing driving device 1 is mounted on the bicycle handlebar 91, the speed-changing driving device 1 is offset with respect to the bicycle handlebar 91, so that the antenna 150 can protrude from one side of the bicycle handlebar 91. As seen from the perspective of direction D in fig. 5, the handlebar 91 does not shield the antenna 150, so that the signal transmitted from the antenna 150 along direction D is at least not shielded by the handlebar 91, which helps to avoid the signal being blocked and attenuated. As can be appreciated from a review of fig. 1 and 5, due to the offset configuration of the variable speed drive 1, the antenna 150 can protrude relative to the bicycle handlebar 91 such that the antenna 150 and the antenna of the variable speed drive on, for example, the first brake assembly 92 are not blocked by the bicycle handlebar 91 to reduce the signal transmission of the variable speed drive 1 from being affected by the bicycle handlebar 91.
Therefore, the speed change driving device 1 provides another way for the rider to go forward or reverse, and the speed change driving device 1 is a wireless signal transmission center and does not need to be connected with a signal wire or a cable wire, so that the elasticity of the installation position is high, the speed change driving device can be adjusted according to different riding postures, and the whole applicability and the use experience can be further improved. For example, when a rider dives at a high speed, the rider usually changes the position of the rider holding the bicycle handlebar to change the riding posture, for example, the rider holds the center portion 910 of the bicycle handlebar 91, and at this time, the speed-changing driving device 1 can be mounted on the center portion 910 in advance at a proper position, so that the rider can conveniently perform the shift operation or the shift operation after changing the riding posture, which not only improves the convenience of the operation, but also avoids the problem that the rider may accidentally change the riding posture again in order to change the shift position.
In addition, referring to fig. 6, fig. 6 is a schematic view of the bicycle head of fig. 1 externally connected to another driving device. The rider can also increase the versatility of operation by inserting a cable (not numbered) through the connector 170 of the aforementioned variable-speed drive 1 to externally connect another variable-speed drive 1a, which is the same as or different from the variable-speed drive 1, through the cable. For example, when the variable speed drive 1a is connected to the variable speed drive 1 and both variable speed drives 1 and 1a have a switch, the control method can include: the gear-change driving device 1 is responsible for the operation of the gear-change of the front speed changer, and the gear-change driving device 1a is responsible for the operation of the gear-change of the front speed changer; alternatively, the shift drive 1 is responsible for the operation of the rear derailleur for the forward gear, and the shift drive 1a is responsible for the operation of the rear derailleur for the reverse gear. That is, with this configuration, the operations of the forward transmission or the rear transmission for the shift-in and the shift-out can be wirelessly performed, respectively. The variable speed drive 1a may be a simple device with a button, and the variable speed drive 1 may be used to implement a wireless communication function. Therefore, the variable speed driving device 1 of the present embodiment can be used with the connector 170 in a wireless signal transmission center, so that the keys can be extended in a low-cost manner, which is helpful for effectively controlling the overall cost, and can avoid the influence of inconvenient installation and visual appearance damage caused by excessive use of cable routing.
In addition, in other embodiments, the gear shift drive 1 may instead have two switches 140 at the same time, and the gear shift drive 1a may be correspondingly augmented to have two switches at the same time, in which case the gear shift drive 1 may be solely responsible for the operation of the forward and reverse gears of one of the front and rear derailleurs, while the gear shift drive 1a may be solely responsible for the operation of the forward and reverse gears of the other of the front and rear derailleurs.
However, it is also noted that in another embodiment, the variable speed drive could omit the connector 170 without the expansion function as shown in fig. 6 according to different requirements.
In addition, although the foregoing embodiment has been given of the shift drive device 1, the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, referring to fig. 7 to 8, fig. 7 is a partially enlarged detailed exploded view of a variable speed drive 1 'according to another embodiment of the present invention, and fig. 8 is a partially enlarged side sectional view of the variable speed drive 1' of fig. 7 after assembly.
Basically, the function and the installation manner of the variable speed drive device 1' of the present embodiment are substantially the same as those of the variable speed drive device 1 of the previous embodiment, and the difference is only the configuration of the internal components such as the battery, the wireless communication circuit board, the switch, the antenna, etc., and the configuration of the carrying seat. As shown in the drawings, in the present embodiment, the variable speed driving apparatus 1' includes a supporting base 110', a cover 120', a wireless communication circuit board 130', a switch 140, an antenna 150', a battery 160, a connector 170, a battery cover 180 and a dust plug 190.
The load-bearing seat 110' includes a bottom plate portion 111' and a sidewall portion 112', the bottom plate portion 111' is also adapted to be assembled to the outer surface 911 of the handlebar 91 of the bicycle, the sidewall portion 112' is erected around the bottom plate portion 111', and the sidewall portion 112' has a through hole 110s on one side. The supporting base 110' is made of a material (e.g., a plastic material) highly transparent to radio waves, for example, so as to reduce the degree of blocking or interfering with radio signals, but the invention is not limited thereto.
The switch 140 and the connector 170 are electrically connected to and assembled on a side of the wireless communication circuit board 130 'opposite to the bottom plate 111', and the battery cover 180 is disposed on a side of the wireless communication circuit board 130 'facing the bottom plate 111'. The battery 160 is mounted in a space between the battery cover 180 and the wireless communication circuit board 130'. That is, the wireless communication circuit board 130' is interposed between the switch 140 and the connector 170 and the battery cover 180 and the battery 160. The antenna 150 'extends to one side of the wireless communication circuit board 130' to be integrated with the wireless communication circuit board 130 'so as to electrically connect the switch 140 and the connector 170 through the wireless communication circuit board 130'. The wireless communication circuit board 130', the switch 140, the antenna 150', the battery 160, the connector 170, and the battery cover 180 may be accommodated in the supporting base 110 '.
The cover 120' is detachably assembled on the carrier 110' to surround the wireless communication circuit board 130', the switch 140, the antenna 150', the battery 160, the connector 170 and the battery cover 180 together with the carrier 110 '. In addition, the cover 120' also has a through hole 120s, when the cover 120' is assembled on the supporting base 110', the through hole 120s corresponds to the through hole 110s on the sidewall 112' of the supporting base 110', so that the dust-proof plug 190 can be sequentially inserted through the through hole. The cover 120 'further has a pressing portion 121' corresponding to the switch 140, and a protrusion 1211 'protruding from an inner side of the pressing portion 121' extends toward the switch 140 for triggering the switch 140.
The shift drive device 1 'is also in an offset configuration, and as shown in FIG. 8, the bottom plate 111' of the carrier seat 110 'has an assembly surface 1111' for assembly to an outer surface 911 of the handlebar 91 of the bicycle. The assembly surface 1111 'has a first side 1111a' and a second side 1111b 'opposite to each other and an assembly slot 1111s' between the first side 1111a 'and the second side 1111 b'. The assembly slot 1111s' is shaped to match the outer surface 911 of the bicycle handlebar 91. Similarly, the assembly slot 1111s ' is offset on the assembly surface 1111', and as shown, the distance from a center point C ' of the assembly slot 1111s ' to the first side 1111a ' of the assembly surface 1111' (e.g., d1 ') is different from the distance from the second side 1111b ' (e.g., d2 '), e.g., d1' is greater than d2'. The center point C 'herein refers to a virtual reference point through which a symmetrical center line of the assembly groove 1111s' passes. Moreover, the antenna 150' is located between the first side 1111a ' and the center point C ' of the assembly slot 1111s ', and is located closer to the first side 1111a '; that is, the distance from the end of the antenna 150' near the first side 1111a ' to the first side 1111a ' is smaller than the distance from the end to the center point C ' of the assembly slot 1111s '. The design makes the variable speed driving device 1 'offset after being installed on the bicycle handlebar 91, so that the antenna 150' can relatively protrude from one side of the bicycle handlebar 91. The effect is similar to the variable speed driving apparatus of the embodiment shown in fig. 5, which can prevent the signal transmitted from the antenna 150 along the direction D from being blocked.
In addition, although the battery is accommodated in the bearing seat in the foregoing embodiments, the invention is not limited thereto. For example, in other embodiments, the battery may be externally connected to the supporting base.
In addition, although the bicycle head is provided with the speed changing driving devices for controlling the front speed changer and the rear speed changer on the two grip portions, the invention is not limited thereto. For example, in other embodiments, only one of the two grip portions may be provided with a shift drive for the front or rear derailleur.
In summary, the variable speed driving device and the bicycle head including the variable speed driving device are provided with the wireless communication circuit board, the switch, the antenna and the battery, and the variable speed driving device can be selectively arranged at a proper position on the bicycle handlebar of the bicycle.
In addition, the speed change driving device is provided with the connector, so that the speed change driving device can be externally connected with another driving device to increase the diversity of operation.
The present invention may be embodied in other specific forms without departing from the spirit or essential attributes thereof, and it should be understood that various changes and modifications can be effected therein by one skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims.
