Most of the existing automobile external rearview mirrors are designed into a foldable structure, and the purpose is to protect the external rearview mirrors. However, the folding force of the outer rearview mirror is not adjustable, so that the outer rearview mirror is still damaged by collision in the using process.
In view of this, the present invention provides an outside rear view mirror folding device, and aims to provide an outside rear view mirror folding device with adjustable folding force. In the attached drawings of the specification, fig. 1 is a schematic and diagrammatic view of the structure of an exterior rearview mirror provided by the embodiment of the invention; fig. 2 is a schematic and diagrammatic view of the folding device of the exterior rear view mirror of fig. 1; FIG. 3 is an exploded view of FIG. 2; FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of FIG. 2; fig. 5 is an exploded view of fig. 4.
Referring to fig. 2, the folding device 100 for an exterior mirror provided by the present invention is used on an exterior mirror 200, and the folding device 100 for an exterior mirror includes a body 1 and an adjusting member 2, wherein the body 1 includes a base 11 and a rotating portion 12 axially rotatably disposed on the base 11, a cavity is formed in the body 1, the cavity includes a first cavity 111 and a second cavity 121 that are communicated with each other, the first cavity 111 is located in the base 11, and the second cavity 121 is located in the rotating portion 12; the adjusting part 2 is at least partially arranged in the second cavity 121, the adjusting part 2 can be movably arranged towards the inner direction of the second cavity 121 and has an interference position at least partially extending into the second cavity 121, when the adjusting part 2 is at the interference position, the adjusting part 2 is in interference fit with the cavity wall of the second cavity 121 to limit the rotation of the rotating part 12 relative to the seat body 11; one of the seat body 11 and the rotating part 12 is used for being mounted on the exterior mirror body 7, and the other is used for being mounted on the exterior mirror mounting seat 6.
In the technical solution provided by the present invention, the folding device 100 of the exterior mirror comprises a body 1 and an adjusting member 2, the body 1 comprises a seat body 11 and a rotating part 12, the adjusting member 2 is at least partially disposed in the second cavity 121 of the rotating part 12 and can move towards the inner direction of the second cavity 121, so that when the rotating part 12 rotates, the adjusting piece 2 generates an interference effect on the rotation of the rotating part 12, and the interference force can be adjusted, as the depth of the adjusting member 2 extending into the second chamber 121 is increased, the interference effect of the adjusting member 2 on the rotating part 12 is gradually increased, and thus, at a low vehicle speed, the depth of the adjusting member 2 extending into the second chamber 121 is reduced, so that the folding force of the outer mirror 200 is reduced, the outer mirror 200 can be easily folded, when the vehicle speed is high, the depth of the adjusting piece 2 extending into the second cavity 121 is increased, the folding force of the external rearview mirror 200 is correspondingly increased, and the wind resistance can be resisted. According to the folding device 100 for the outer rear view mirror, when the outer rear view mirror 200 is folded, the folding force can be adjusted adaptively according to the vehicle speed, the flexibility is high, and the structure is reliable, so that the folding device 100 for the outer rear view mirror replaces a traditional folding rotating shaft of the outer rear view mirror, the outer rear view mirror 200 can be protected more intelligently, and the folding device 100 for the outer rear view mirror is low in cost, reliable in structure and high in practicability.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present invention, the folding force refers to a force to be overcome to completely fold the exterior mirror 200, and is also a resistance force in the process of folding the exterior mirror 200. Because the contact part of the seat body 11 and the rotating part 12 only rotates, the two parts cannot be separated, and therefore, in the folding process, the depth of the adjusting piece 2 extending into the second cavity 121 directly influences the size of the folding force.
Further, in order to make the folding force change smoothly when the vehicle speed changes, please refer to fig. 2 and fig. 3, a cavity wall in interference fit with the adjusting member 2 is a second cavity wall 1211, and a side wall in interference fit with the second cavity wall 1211 of the adjusting member 2 is an adjusting wall 21; in the rotating direction of the adjusting member 2, at least one of the second chamber wall 1211 and the adjusting wall 21 is disposed to be inclined away from the seat body 11.
