Abstract
The invention discloses a compatible device and a method for switching a TYPE-C interface of a panel computer mainboard to UART serial port communication, which can be used for software developers to carry out serial port communication debugging without manually disassembling the panel computer and manually welding serial port lines during debugging only by additionally arranging a selector switch on the panel computer mainboard, thereby saving the steps of disassembling, welding and the like, improving the efficiency, and only needing to add a selector switch circuit on the mainboard and carry out compatible design on software, and having low cost.

For the TYPE-C male socket-UART serial port communication data line, VBUS, TX, RX and GND four lines are led out, the UART serial communication protocol needs to be converted into the USB communication protocol and standard through the UART serial port-USB adapter plate, and therefore UART serial port communication can be carried out with the computer host through the USB interface.
