As shown in fig. 2, their roles are: GPIO _ AT & GPIO _ UI: the two GPIOs independently determine the USB control authority of the AP and the MP respectively. The differences are as follows: GPIO _ AT is hardware input (AT: Auto), GPIO _ UI can be software control (UI: User Interface).
As shown in table 1 below, GPIO _ MP is configured as Output for configuring the state of USB (MP _ USB or MP _ UART):

TABLE 2
In order to meet the production and debugging requirements of a production line, when the production line is used for board punching, all test points are exposed because of bare boards, equipment can be switched to a flashing mode or a debugging mode by using a short circuit test point mode, and the method for short circuit test points is a hardware behavior and does not need software to participate at all. On the production line, the clamp can also be used together. Accords with the using habit of the production line and is easy to form the standard operation flow of the production line.
Specifically, GPIO _ AT is set to L ow by default, GPIO _ UI is set to L ow, GPIO _ MP is set to High by default on software, the default state of the Y-shaped cable is AU (AP USB), if the working state of the Y-shaped cable is to be switched, because the whole machine is in the hands of an engineer or a user, the operation of a short-circuit test point is not easy to carry out, the working mode of the Y-shaped cable can be switched by the jumper cap, and in the practical implementation, the jumper cap can be designed to be a switch button.
In addition, the operating mode is switched through the UI of the equipment side, and the requirements of debugging and use are met, namely a manual switching scheme is adopted. Since the GPIOs are all on the AP side, if the operating mode has been switched to the MP side, it is difficult to switch the operating mode back to the AP side because the MP side cannot directly operate the GPIOs on the AP side.
The disclosed embodiment is a mechanism for switching among several working modes through UI operation. In practical coding implementations, this UI menu is usually suggested to be put into "settings- > developer options", or implemented by a password-hidden menu.
The invention can meet the actual requirements of a terminal user on flashing, charging and the like, can switch the equipment to different working states, and can carry out data transmission and data backup operations by matching with a tool at the Host end of the PC. Such as: data are transmitted through a USB, AT commands are received and sent through a serial port, and address books and the like in the export equipment are led in through Tools AT a PC Host end.
As shown in fig. 2 to 6, the circuit principle in several typical modes will be described.
In the first scheme, the control right of the cable is set to be AP USB, namely, the working mode is switched to a Type-A USB mode.
The default operating state is AP USB when GPIO _ AT is set to L ow, GPIO _ UI is set to L ow, GPIO _ MP is set to High by default on software.
The method 1 automatically switches the working mode to the AP USB by detecting the level state of the ID pin of the Y-shaped cable. As shown in fig. 3, the default state of UART-Mode in hardware is low level, since GPIO _ AT is Input, it is low level by default. The GPIO _ UI is configured to be low level by default on software, if the Micro USB male port of a Y-type cable is inserted into a Micro USB Connector, if the default state of a jumper cap of the Y-type cable is an AU state, an ID-pin outputs 0.0v, and low level is detected in 9vDetect, so that 3 paths of output of an OR gate at the upper left corner are low level, the path of the Micro USB is switched to the USBPHY of the AP by a 2in1 analog switch, and the working state is switched to the AP USB. Meanwhile, the USB _ ID of the MicroUSB is conducted to the GPIO _ ID on the AP side, the AP can detect the state of the ID pin at the moment, and if the AP detects that the voltage of the ID-pin is 0.0v, the AP knows that the AP is switched to the AP USB working mode.
The method is generally used for setting a default working mode when the system is started for the first time, and the default state can be recovered by restarting the system each time. In addition, the UI menu can also be used to set the AP USB operating mode, and the specific operation method is similar to the two schemes described below.
In the second scheme, the working mode is switched to the MP USB through the cooperation of software and a Y-shaped cable.
As shown in fig. 4, the operation mode can be set to MP USB by two methods, which are as follows:
the method comprises the following steps: and the working mode is automatically switched to the MP USB by detecting the level state of the ID pin of the Y-shaped cable. The default state of UART-Mode on hardware is low level, GPIO _ AT is Input, and default state is low level. When the GPIO _ UI is configured to be low level by default on software, and the male Micro USB port of the Y-type cable is inserted into a Micro USB Connector, the default state of the jumper cap of the Y-type cable is an MU state, the ID-pin outputs 9.0v, and high level is detected in 9v Detect, so that 2 output of an OR gate at the upper left corner is low level, and 9v Detect is high level, so that the output of the OR gate is 1, and the path of the Micro USB is switched to the USBPHY of MP by a 2in1 analog switch. And the USB _ ID of the Micro USB is conducted to the PMIC chip on the AP side, the A side can detect the state of the ID pin at the moment, and if the AP detects that the state of the ID pin is 9.0v, the AP knows that the MP is switched to the MP USB working mode. Meanwhile, the OR gate adjacent to the 9v Detect will be output as 1, according to the "MP USB Mode" table in the upper right corner of FIG. 4, so the working state at this time is MU. This method 1 is generally applicable to production lines or switching operation modes by factory jigs.
The method 2 comprises the following steps: and manually switching the working mode to the MP USB through a UI menu. Namely, a UI menu is opened by inputting a password or other modes, and the menu has several options and can automatically switch several working modes such as AU, MU, MR and the like. Take switching to MU as an example: whether the Y-type cable is in place or not is detected firstly, and if the Y-type cable is in place, the operation mode is set to be 'MU' in a UI menu. If the UI menu item is selected, GPIO _ UI is pulled up firstly, control is given to the MP side, GPIO _ MP is pulled up again, so that an OR gate adjacent to 9v Detect outputs 1 at the moment, and the working state at the moment is MU according to an MP USB Mode table at the upper right corner of the figure 4. The method is generally suitable for switching the working modes of the whole machine or a common user.
In the third scheme, the working mode is switched to the MP UART through the cooperation of software and a Y-shaped cable.
As shown in fig. 5, the operation mode may be set to the MP UART by two methods.
The method comprises the following steps: and the working mode is automatically switched to the MP UART by detecting the level state of the ID pin of the Y-shaped cable. By shorting the test point of the UART-Mode, the output of the or gate AT the upper left corner is high level in hardware, and since GPIO _ AT is Input, GPIO _ AT is also high level. When the male Micro USB port of the Y-type cable is inserted into the Micro USB connector, because the default state of the jumper cap of the Y-type cable is the MR state, the ID-pin outputs 4.5v, and the intermediate state is detected in 9v Detect, so that 1 output of the OR gate at the upper left corner is high level, and 9vDetect is the intermediate state, so that the output of the OR gate is 1, and the path of the Micro USB is switched to the USHY BPP of the MP by the 2in1 analog switch. And the USB _ ID of the Micro USB is conducted to the PMIC chip on the AP side, so that the A side can detect the state of the ID pin at the moment, and if the AP detects that the voltage of the ID-pin is 4.5v, the AP knows that the MP is switched to the MP UART working mode. The AP will make the GPIO _ MP output low at this time. So the or gate adjacent to the 9v Detect will be output as 0 at this time, and the operation state is MR at this time according to the "MP USB Mode" table at the upper right corner of fig. 5. This method is generally applicable to production lines or to switching the operation mode by factory jigs.
The method 2 comprises the following steps: the operation mode is manually switched to the MP MR through the UI menu. A UI menu is opened by inputting a password or other modes, and the menu has several options and can automatically switch several working modes such as AU, MU, MR and the like. Taking the switch to MR as an example: whether the Y-shaped cable is in place or not is detected firstly, and if the Y-shaped cable is in place, the operation mode is set to be 'MR' in a UI menu. If the UI menu item is selected, GPIO _ UI is pulled up first, control is given to the MP side, GPIO _ MP is pulled down at the same time, therefore, an OR gate adjacent to 9vDetect outputs 0 at the moment, and the working state at the moment is MR according to an MP USB Mode table at the upper right corner of the figure 5. The method is generally suitable for switching the working modes of the whole machine or a common user.
In the fourth scheme, as shown in fig. 6, the state of the GPIO _ ED is set by shorting a test point or by software, and the AP flush mode or the MP flush mode is set.
The method 1 is realized by setting the FORCE _ F L ASH to 1.8v and setting the FORCE _ F L ASH to a flush MODE through a short circuit test point 1. by setting the FORCE _ F L ASH to 1.8v, the GPIO _ ED is high level, and the ED _ MODE of the MP is also high level through an or gate, so, a) if the control right of the USB is at the AP side at this time, the AP and MP both enter the flush MODE, but only the AP side can be flushed because the control right of the USB is at the AP side at this time, b) if the control right of the USB is at the MP side, the AP and MP both enter the flush MODE, but only the MP side can be flushed because the control right of the USB is at the MP side at this time.
The method 2 comprises the following steps: the flush mode is entered via the UI or command line. And operating the UI menu to enter an AP or MP flash mode: a) if the AP is refreshed, the GPIO state set through the UI menu is as follows: GPIO _ UI is low, GPIO _ MP is high, GPIO _ ED is high, then the logic Number of AP flush mode (0 xAEDAAED) is set at the specified RAM address, then the norm Reset system. I.e. the AP flush mode is entered. b) If the MP is refreshed, the GPIO states set through the UI menu are as follows: GPIO _ UI is high, GPIO _ MP is not in operation, GPIO _ ED is high, then the logic Number (0xBBEDBBED) of AP flash mode is set at the designated RAM address, and then the norm Reset system. I.e. the BP flush mode is entered. c) If the MP captures the serial ports logs, the GPIO states set through the UI menu are as follows: GPIO _ UI is high level, GPIO _ MP is in a state of not doing any operation, GPIO _ ED is high level, then a logic Number (0xBBDBBBDB) of MP debugging mode is set at a designated RAM address, and then a norm Reset system. I.e. BP debug mode is entered. The method is usually suitable for the time of refreshing the whole machine or capturing the serial ports logs, the whole machine is provided with an operating system at the time, and the AP & MP refreshing mode or the MP Debug mode can be entered in a UI menu or command line mode.
