In some preferred embodiments of the present invention, the aerogel thermal insulation blanket is used as the anti-overflow ring 8 because the aerogel thermal insulation blanket has excellent thermal insulation, waterproof and heat preservation properties. In a specific example of the present invention, the thermal conductivity of the insulation layer 3 is about 18mW/m · K, and the thermal conductivity of the aerogel thermal insulation blanket is also about 18mW/m · K, so the thermal conductivity of the aerogel thermal insulation blanket is close to the thermal conductivity of the insulation layer 3, so that the overall insulation effect of the electric water heater 100 is uniform.
Further, an adhesive is arranged on the anti-overflow ring 8, and the anti-overflow ring 8 is connected to the outer surface of the right end cover 102 of the inner container through the adhesive. Thereby further preventing the foaming material from permeating into the flange 9 and avoiding the foaming material from polluting the components on the flange 9.
