本发明涉及具有一体的气袋的头枕，该气袋装置是在车座上的。
由于后冲撞而起作用的用于机动车颈枕的气袋可从EP0593845A1号专利中知晓。
可是，本发明的目的是创造一种前述型式的头枕，该头枕还可在车辆倾斜冲撞的过程中保证头部的防护。
根据本发明，这一问题是这样解决的，即，在充气状态下，气袋伸展到头部区域的侧边，并且实质上大致地是在向着进行方向。
最好是充气的气袋在面向车辆内壁的头部区域的侧边伸展。然而，在充气状态，气袋能在头部区域的两侧伸展。尤其是头部被防止遭受车辆内侧硬物的冲撞，防止了事故中的侧冲撞，这里有头部的横向运动。
在推荐的形式中，在充气状态下，附加气袋能实质上以与行进相反的方向从前椅座的头枕伸展。这就可防止后座上的车辆乘员冲撞前座的后侧。
也就是说，本发明提出了一种具有一体的气袋的头枕，该气袋是车座上的气袋装置的气袋，其特征是，在充气状态下，气袋    伸展到头部区域的侧边，并且大致上是向着进行方向。

描述于图1和2中的头枕1的实施例具有在空心间隔空间4内的折叠的气袋2，该间隙空间4布置在侧边。气袋2能用气体发生器5来充气。气体发生器5在头枕1的上水平部分7中延伸。借助于导线8，气体发生器5能被电点火。导线8穿过头部休靠支柱9而到达气体发生器5，并且穿过头枕的内部。
在气体发生器5被点火之后，气体发生器5就将气袋2充气。点火是依据感应器的响应，在此不作详述。这里，气袋被充气所以气袋以向着进行方向伸展到头部区域的侧边，因此由于急速伸展气袋，使气袋的包覆件不会剌着车辆乘员的头部。在推荐的型式中，伸展的方向是以与车辆横向轴向成大约45°的倾斜方向。在充气状态下，气袋2大致以向着行进方向伸展到头部区域的侧边并保证防止车辆内侧上的硬物的横向冲撞。
对于图3和4描述的实施例，在头枕中布置了两侧的气袋2，在头枕中布置了两个气袋2，而图1中是一个气袋。在充气状态下，气袋伸展在头部区域的两个侧边，如图4所示。
如图3和4所示，附加气袋2可布置在图1所示和图3、图4所示的两个实施例中。在充气状态下，这种附气袋3在行进的相反方向从头枕1伸展开来，如图3所示。在充气状态下，气袋3提供前座10的后侧的冲撞防护，这样设置的头枕1是为了防护车辆后座上的车辆乘员的。这时，附加气袋3用来覆盖车座后面的硬的边缘和硬物，也就是在车辆后座的方向上的。
在充气状态下，附加气袋3最好是收容在头枕1的下水平部分6中，对于图3和图4的实施例。气体发生器5能用来使两个气袋2充气，如果需要，还可用来对附加气袋3充气。
因为两个气袋2在离开头部以侧面向伸展，并且不是朝向头部的像气袋装置中传统气袋那样，一种没有不侧事故的气袋伸展可以达到。甚至对于气袋3伸展到后面，伸展的方向是能被定向的，如图3和图4所示，所以在车后座上的人员的头部不要精确定向。对于附加气袋3伸展的推荐方向是以一角度从头枕的下部分6向下伸展开去。

Claims (7)

1、一种具有一体的气袋的头枕，该气袋是车座上的气袋装置的气袋，其特征是，在充气状态下，气袋(2)伸展到头部区域的侧边，并且大致上是向着进行方向。
2、如权利要求1所述头枕，其特征是，在充气状态下，一个气袋(2)伸展到头部区域各自的每一侧边。
3、如权利要求1或2所述头枕，其特征是，在空气状态下，附加气袋(3)大致上以与行进方向相反的方向从头枕(1)伸展。
4、如权利要求1至3之一所述头枕，其特征是，提供到头部区域侧边的气袋(2)在充气过程中被导引以使其以离开头部区域的方向伸展。
5、如权利要求1至4之一所述头枕，其特征是，在充气状态下，提供到头部区域侧边的气袋(2)被安置在头枕(1)的侧部空心空间(4)中。
6、如权利要求1至5之一所述头枕，其特征是，用来对各个气袋(2)充气的气体发生器(5)安置在头枕(1)的水平部分之中。
7、如权利要求1至6之一所述头枕，其特征是，在充气状态下，在与行进方向相反的方向上伸展的附加气袋(3)安置在头枕(1)的下部分(6)中。
