In the second setting page shown in fig. 8, setting items "Network Configuration Connected", "Internet Connection", "Wake on Wireless Network", "Wake on LAN", "Bluetooth", and the like are included. After the setting item of "Network Configuration Connected" is found in the second setting page, the third setting page corresponding to the setting item of "Network Configuration Connected" is entered, as shown in fig. 9.
In the third setting page shown in fig. 9, a function introduction of a "Network Configuration Connected" setting item, for example, "Set up the Network to gain full access of Smart TV features" is specifically displayed. Up to this point, the target setting page can be found.
In the display device 200 that is currently in common use, only the user is supported to find the final target setting page by opening the setting page step by step. However, in the embodiment of the present application, hierarchical paths are configured correspondingly on the setting pages, and as long as a user inputs a search keyword, all hierarchical paths including the search keyword can be found, and a target hierarchical path is selected from the hierarchical paths. There is no need to manually open the setting page stage by stage in the display device 200.
After the user selects the target hierarchical path, a selection instruction is input to the display device 200, and as shown in fig. 5, the controller 250 continuously controls the display 260 to display a target setting page corresponding to the last setting item level in the target hierarchical path, but not a setting page corresponding to an intermediate level of the hierarchical path, in response to the selection instruction. Furthermore, the purpose of directly jumping the page can be realized, and more time is saved for the user to select the set page.
As can be seen, the display device 200 in the foregoing embodiment can make the overall process operation of selecting the target setting page by the user simpler, and the speed of finding the target setting page is also faster, thereby avoiding the user from continuously operating on different setting pages and gradually finding the target setting page, and ensuring the user experience.
FIG. 10 illustrates a second schematic diagram of a search page, according to some embodiments.
As described in the foregoing embodiment, the hierarchical paths corresponding to the setting items in the display device 200 are preset, and since there are many setting items, there are also many hierarchical paths, and in order to find a satisfactory hierarchical path among the hierarchical paths, the controller 250 needs to filter the hierarchical paths.
Further, in some embodiments, the controller 250 needs to filter through all hierarchical paths in response to a search instruction input by a user, and acquire all hierarchical paths containing a search keyword. For example, if the keyword input by the user is "Network", the controller 250 may obtain, in all hierarchical paths, a hierarchical path containing "Network" as follows: "Network", "Network- > Network Configuration", "Network- > Internet Connection- > Network Information", "Network- > Wake on Wireless Network", "Support- > Network Connection Status", "Support- > Network Test", and the like.
The controller 250 then displays the hierarchical paths in sequence below the search box as shown in fig. 6, and the displayed contents can be specifically seen in fig. 10.
In some cases, due to limited space of the search page, when there are too many hierarchical paths to be displayed, the current search page may not display all of the hierarchical paths in their entirety. Then, in some embodiments, the display area of the hierarchical path may be further configured as an expandable display area, and the user may move downward all the way through the control focus selection box to display other hierarchical paths that have not been displayed before in the display area.
In addition, if the controller 250 does not find any one hierarchical path containing the search keyword among all hierarchical paths, the controller 250 will control the display 260 to display a prompt such as "no relevant setting item searched" on the search page. At this point, the user may continue searching for additional keywords.
Alternatively, if the hierarchical path searched by the controller 250 includes too many search keywords, the user may further continue to input more keywords in the search box, so that the controller 250 continues to narrow the scope of the current search result to search for a more satisfactory hierarchical path.
FIG. 11 illustrates a second control flow diagram for controller 250 according to some embodiments.
In some cases, some setting items of the display device 200 may be displayed or used only when a password needs to be input or a manager authority is obtained, and a setting page corresponding to such a setting item cannot be directly displayed through the display 260, for example, a setting item page in which a child lock is set, or a setting item page in which a password is set. Therefore, in some embodiments, as shown in fig. 11, in response to a selection instruction input by a user, the controller 250 needs to detect whether a target setting page corresponding to a last setting item level in a target level path selected by the user is in a skippable state, for example, whether the target setting page is an encrypted page or the like, if the target setting page can be skippable, it indicates that the setting page is not limited by a permission of a password or the like, and the controller 250 may control the display 260 to display the target setting page.
If the target setting page is not jumpable, the controller 250 needs to control the display 260 to display a prompt page for reminding the user that the current target setting page is not jumpable. The user can continue to select other settings pages for operation. Alternatively, after the display 260 displays the prompt page, the controller 250 controls the display 260 to jump to an authentication page, such as a password input page, to request the user to authenticate, and controls the display 260 to jump to the corresponding target setting page after the user passes the authentication.
As described in the previous embodiment, the controller 250 jumps to only the target setup page corresponding to the last level in the target level path. However, the page jump relationship indicated in the target hierarchical path is all achievable, that is, the controller 250 may jump from the currently displayed target setting page back to the setting page corresponding to the previous hierarchical level according to the hierarchical relationship in the target hierarchical path. For example, if the display 260 currently displays the third setup page corresponding to the "Network Configuration Connected" setup item, the display page of the display 260 may be controlled to jump back to the second setup page containing the "Network Configuration Connected" setup item in response to the return instruction input by the user.
Further, in some embodiments, after the display 260 displays the target setting page corresponding to the last setting item level, the controller 250 may further control the display 260 to display a setting page corresponding to a setting item level previous to the current setting item level in the target level path in response to a return instruction for exiting the current target setting page input by the user.
In addition, in some cases, as shown in fig. 9, on the currently displayed target setting page, in addition to the target setting item "Network Configuration Connected" that the user wants to select, other more setting items may be included, such as "Internet Connection", "wave on Wireless Network", "wave on LAN", "Bluetooth", and the like. These setting items are also selectable and operable by the user.
Furthermore, in some embodiments, after the display 260 displays the target setting page corresponding to the last setting item level, the controller 250 may further control the display 260 to display the setting page corresponding to a target setting item in response to a setting item selection instruction input by the user for selecting the target setting item on the target setting page. For example, if the user selects the "Bluetooth" setting item again on the setting page shown in fig. 9, the controller 250 may continue to control the display 260 to display the setting page of the "Bluetooth" setting item.
As can be seen from the above, the display device 200 provided in the embodiment of the present application may provide all relevant setting item paths to the user only according to the search keyword input by the user, and directly display the last setting page in the target path to the user, so that the overall process operation is simple, the speed of finding the target setting page is fast, the user is prevented from continuously operating on different setting pages and gradually finding the target setting page, and the user experience is ensured.
