HBBTV is a DVB-compatible content distribution platform that prompts the user for a Broadcast-Related HBBTV application by displaying a picture including color buttons on the user interface if the current HBBTV application is available. The user can open the user interface of the HBBTV application by pressing the corresponding color key on the remote controller, so that the aim of entering the HBBTV application is fulfilled.
In a scenario where the display device is in UI mode (interactive mode) and the HBBTV application is launched, when the user wants to enter the HBBTV application and presses the corresponding color key on the remote controller, the color key event is preferentially received by the UI. The UI does not process the color key event, although it receives the color key event, and the HBBTV application does not receive the color key event. Finally, the user presses the color key on the remote controller, and the smart television does not respond, so that the user experience is poor.
Illustratively, when the user performs a channel switching operation, if the channel to which the user switches includes the HBBTV application (the HBBTV application is in a startup state). After the channel is switched, a scene is formed in which the channel information bar or the function interaction bar of the current channel and the prompt picture of the HBBTV application are simultaneously displayed on the user interface (the HBBTV may be only in the start state, and the prompt picture is not displayed).
At this time, the user presses any key, and the default is received by the UI (both the channel information field and the function interaction field are UI), and the UI receives the color key event but does not process the color key event. While HBBTV applications that need to process color keys do not receive color key events. Eventually, causing the user to press the color key, a situation occurs where the display device is unresponsive. Similarly, in a scenario where the HBBTV application is simultaneously in the active state in the system setup mode of the UI, the user may also press a color key, and the display device may not respond.
In order to solve the above problem, the present application provides a display device, such as a frame diagram of a content display system shown in fig. 5, including a display device and a control device, and is a scene where the display device and the control device interact. The display device provided by the present application includes a color button identifier 200A, a scene identifier 200B, HBBTV state identifier 200C, and a processor 200D.
The color button identifier is used for identifying whether a key corresponding to a key instruction input by a user is a color key. The scene recognizer is used for recognizing whether the mode of the current display device is an interactive mode or not and judging the specific mode type of the current display device. The HBBTV state identifier is used for identifying the state of the HBBTV application, namely the starting state or the non-starting state. The processor is configured to retrieve key parameters from the color button identifier, mode parameters from the scene identifier, and status parameters for the HBBTV application from the HBBTV status identifier. The processor is further configured to determine content to be displayed on the user interface according to the key parameter, the mode parameter, and the state parameter.
The specific process of displaying content by using the display device of the embodiment is as follows:
the user presses a key on the remote control and inputs a key command through the user input interface. The processor receives the key instruction and sends the key instruction to the color key identifier. And after receiving the key instruction, the color key identifier judges whether the key corresponding to the key instruction is a color key. Meanwhile, the scene recognizer sends the specific mode type of the current display equipment to the processor, and the HBBTV state recognition sends the recognized state of the HBBTV application in the current interface to the processor.
In some embodiments, if the mode of the current display device is the interactive mode, the state of the HBBTV application is the activated state, and the key corresponding to the key instruction is a color key, the operation of entering the HBBTV application is performed in response to the key instruction.
In some embodiments, if the mode of the current display device is the interactive mode, the state of the HBBTV application is the activated state, but the key corresponding to the key instruction is not a color key, and in response to the key instruction, the operation of entering the HBBTV application is not executed, but an operation logically corresponding to the key instruction itself is executed. Illustratively, the key corresponding to the key command is a CH + key (channel number increment key), and the operation of switching channels is executed in response to the CH + key command.
In some embodiments, if the mode of the current display device is the interactive mode, and the mode is an information presentation mode of the DTV. The information display mode of the DTV, in which the DTV function interaction bar or the Channel information bar is displayed on the user interface, means that any one of an infobar, a Channel List and an EPG (guide bar) is displayed on the DTV Channel content in an overlapping manner. At this time, if the HBBTV application state is the activated state and the key corresponding to the key instruction is a color key, the operation of entering the HBBTV application is executed in response to the key instruction.
The specific steps for executing the operation of entering the HBBTV application are as follows: canceling the display of the information presentation bar on the user interface, and displaying the user interface resources of the HBBTV application on the user interface.
Illustratively, as shown in fig. 6, the user interface is a schematic diagram, in which contents of a certain channel of the DTV are displayed on the user interface, and the UI displayed on the user interface is a channel information bar of the channel. In the user interface shown in fig. 6, a prompt view of the HBBTV application is also displayed, which prompts the user that the HBBTV application is in a start state in the channel page. The prompting picture also comprises a color key picture, and the user is prompted to enter the HBBTV application by pressing color keys on the remote controller.
In the case of the conventional display device, in the user interface shown in fig. 6, when the user presses the color key on the control device, a color key command is input. The color key command is preferentially received by the channel information bar, but the channel information bar does not process the color key command, and the display device seen by the user is in a non-responsive state. Until a preset time (the maximum time threshold for the channel information bar to be displayed) has elapsed, the channel information bar disappears from the user interface as shown in fig. 7 for yet another possible user interface.
The user inputs a color key instruction by pressing a color key on the remote controller, and the HBBTV application receives the color key instruction. And calling a user interface of the HBBTV application according to the color key instruction. Specifically, when the user interface shown in fig. 7 jumps to another possible user interface shown in fig. 8, the channel message bar and the prompt picture of the HBBTV application are both not displayed, and the user interface resources of the HBBTV application are displayed on the user interface.
In the embodiment of the present application, when a user inputs a key instruction by pressing a color key on a remote controller on the user interface shown in fig. 6, the user interface shown in fig. 6 may jump to the user interface shown in fig. 8 in direct response to the key instruction. Namely, the HBBTV application receives and processes the color key instruction, and responds to the key instruction to enter the HBBTV application. Therefore, in the embodiment of the application, even in a scene in which the UI and the HBBTV application exist simultaneously, when the user presses the color key on the remote controller, the situation that the display device does not have any response does not occur, so that the use experience of the user is improved.
In some embodiments, if the mode of the current display device is the interactive mode and is the information presentation mode of the DTV. At this time, if the HBBTV application state is the inactivated state and the key corresponding to the key instruction is a color key, in response to the key instruction, an inactivated prompt box is displayed on the user interface as shown in fig. 9 in another possible user interface. The state used for prompting the HBBTV application is an un-started state.
In some embodiments, if the interaction mode of the current display device is a parameter setting mode of the system, any one of a setting menu bar and a home of the system may be displayed on the user interface. And if the HBBTV application state is the starting state and the key corresponding to the key instruction is the color key, responding to the key instruction, and executing the operation of entering the HBBTV application.
The specific step of executing the operation of entering the HBBTV application is to superimpose and display an exit prompt box on the parameter setting bar, where the exit prompt box includes a prompt for prompting the user to exit the parameter setting mode.
Illustratively, in yet another possible user interface shown in fig. 10, the parameter setting bar displayed on the user interface is a picture parameter setting bar. When the user inputs a key command by pressing a color key on the remote controller, in response to the key command, a quit prompt box is displayed on the picture parameter setting bar in an overlapping manner as shown in fig. 11 in another possible user interface. The quit prompt box comprises prompt words: please exit the current setting interface first.
Based on the above embodiments, in some embodiments, the user may exit the parameter setting mode according to the exit prompt in the exit prompt box. And after exiting the parameter setting mode, exiting the interactive mode, and enabling the user to input the specified key instruction again to call out the user interface resources of the HBBTV application on the user interface.
Illustratively, in the user interface shown in fig. 11, when the user inputs a key instruction by pressing an exit key on the remote controller, the user interface shown in fig. 11 jumps to the user interface shown in fig. 7 in response to the exit key instruction. The parameter setting column and the exit prompt box are cancelled to be displayed. When the user inputs a key instruction again by pressing the color key on the remote controller on the user interface shown in fig. 7, a plurality of user interface resources of the HBBTV application are displayed on the user interface as shown in fig. 8 in response to the key instruction. The user can watch the corresponding media resource by selecting the user interface resources.
An embodiment of the present application provides a content display method, such as a signaling diagram of the content display method shown in fig. 12, where the method is an interaction process between a control device and a display device, and the method is applied to a scenario where an HBBTV application is started in a UI mode, and the method includes the following steps:
step one, a user inputs a key instruction by pressing a key on the control device, and the display equipment receives the key instruction input by the user. When the mode of the display device is an interactive mode (a mode that a user can interact with the display device through the control device), the state of the preset application (HBBTV application) is a starting state, and the key instruction is a designated key instruction, responding to the designated key instruction, and executing the operation of entering the preset application.
And step two, when the mode of the display equipment is an interactive mode, the state of the preset application is a starting state, and the key instruction is not a specified key instruction, responding to the key instruction, not executing the operation of entering the preset application and executing the operation corresponding to the logic of the key instruction.
In some embodiments, if the current interaction mode is an information display mode of a channel, an information display bar of the channel is displayed on the user interface, and the operation of entering the preset application is executed, specifically including: canceling the display of the information presentation bar on the user interface and displaying the user interface resources of the application on the user interface.
In some embodiments, if the current interaction mode is a parameter setting mode of the system, a parameter setting field of the system is displayed on the user interface, and the operation of entering the preset application is executed, specifically including: and displaying an exit prompt box on the user interface, wherein the exit prompt box comprises a prompt for prompting the user to exit the parameter setting mode.
Based on the foregoing method embodiment, an embodiment of the present application provides another content display method, as shown in a signaling diagram of the content display method shown in fig. 13, where the method is an interaction process between a control device and a display device, and the method includes the following steps:
step one, a user inputs a key instruction by pressing a key on the control device, and the display equipment sends the key instruction to the processor through the user interface.
And step two, after the processor receives the key instruction, acquiring the current HBBTV application state from the HBBTV state recognizer. Logic to process the current key itself if the state of the current HBBTV application is not active. Specifically, if the current key is a color key, the display device finally has no response because the HBBTV is in the inactivated state. And if the current key is a CH + key, processing the logic of the CH + key and executing the operation of switching channels. If the state of the current HBBTV application does not start a state, step three is performed.
And step three, the processor sends the key instruction to the color key identifier to identify whether the key corresponding to the key instruction is a color key. And if the corresponding key is the color key, executing the step four. And if the corresponding key is not the color key, processing the logic of the current key.
And step four, the processor acquires the mode of the current display equipment from the scene recognizer. If the mode of the current display device is a DTV-related interactive mode, DTV Channel content is displayed on the user interface, and a functional interactive bar or a Channel information bar (e.g., any one of infobar, Channel List, EPG) is displayed on the Channel content in an overlapping manner. The processor controls the display to cancel the UI display and display the user interface resources of the HBBTV application on the user interface of the display. And if the mode of the current display device is not the DTV-related interactive mode, executing a fifth step.
And step five, judging whether the mode of the current display equipment is the parameter setting mode of the system, and if the mode of the current display equipment is not the parameter setting mode of the system, processing the logic of the current key (at the moment, the key corresponding to the key instruction is a color key, so that the user interface resource applied by the HBBTV can be directly called out). And if the current mode of the display equipment is the parameter setting mode of the system, displaying any one of a parameter setting bar, a menu bar and a homepage of the system on the user interface. An exit prompt box is superimposed and displayed on the user interface, and the exit prompt box is used for prompting the user to exit the parameter setting mode so that the HBBTV application can be entered.
In some embodiments, the user may press an exit key on the control device to enter a key instruction, in response to which the exit prompt box and the parameter setting bar (or menu bar, home page) are dismissed on the user interface. This may be the display of the channel content and the hint picture of the HBBTV application on the user interface. And the user presses the color key on the control device again, and the user interface resource of the HBBTV application is displayed on the user interface in response to the color key instruction.
