Then, the controller 250 acquires search results associated with the search content of the user in response to the search instruction, and places the search results according to categories to which the search results belong, thereby forming a presentation page. In the embodiment of the present application, the controller 250 finally controls the display 260 to display the display page as shown in fig. 7. And displaying the search results in the display page in a waterfall flow mode, firstly, sequentially and longitudinally displaying the resource categories to which the search results belong on the display page, and then, sequentially and transversely displaying the search results under each resource category. For example, the search content of the user is the keyword "P", the resource categories displayed on the presentation page may include, but are not limited to, "Movies", "TV Series", "Apps", "Topic", "channels", etc., and then the search results of some movie resources are presented under the "Movies" title, the search results of some TV Series resources are presented under the "TV Series" title, the search results of some application resources are presented under the "Apps" title, the search results of some Topic resources are presented under the "Topic" title, and the search results of some channel resources are presented under the "channels" title.
As shown in fig. 7, the search result is usually presented in two parts, one part being the title of the content, such as the name of the movie resource, the name of the drama resource, the name of the application, the name of the title, the name of the tv channel, and so on; the other part is a presentation image corresponding to a title of the content, such as a poster of a movie asset, a poster of a tv show asset, an icon of an application, a cover of a theme, a logo of a tv channel, and the like. The content title usually contains the search content input by the user, for example, the user inputs the keyword "P", and then the content titles of all the search results carry the letter "P".
In addition, since the search result often includes a presentation image, the number of images that can be presented on a screen of the display 260 is limited, and in order to enable the presentation to present more content, in the embodiment of the present application, the presentation page is set to be a page that can be expanded in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction, a plurality of resource categories can be presented in one page, and a plurality of search results can be presented under each resource category. Even though the screen of the display 260 can display only a part of the search results and the resource categories, the remaining part of the resource categories may be displayed vertically or the remaining part of the search results may be displayed horizontally as long as the user inputs a control instruction.
FIG. 8 illustrates a second schematic diagram of a presentation page, according to some embodiments. FIG. 9 illustrates a third schematic diagram of a presentation page, according to some embodiments.
As shown in fig. 7, in the display page, content under the "Movies" title can only be displayed vertically currently, and when the user selects the focus frame to move downward, the focus frame automatically jumps to the position of the search result in the next category title, so that the display page displays part of the search result under the "TV Series" title; or the user continues to select the focus frame to move down, causing the focus frame to jump to the location of the search results under the "Apps" heading, as shown in fig. 8.
Furthermore, in the presentation page shown in fig. 7, only part of the search results can be displayed horizontally, and when the user selects the focus to move to the right continuously, the presentation page will display the rest part of movie resources under the "Movies" title, as shown in fig. 9.
It is worth noting that in the embodiment of the application, the number of resource categories and the number of search results that can be displayed on one page of a display page need to be determined according to the size of a set display image, and if the display image is large, only one resource type of search results can be completely displayed on one page as shown in fig. 7; if the presentation image is small, then the search results for both resource types can be fully presented on one page as shown in FIG. 8.
As shown in fig. 6, after the display 260 displays the presentation page for the user, the user may input a focus moving instruction again according to the viewed content, and the controller 250 controls the focus frame on the presentation page to move up, down, left, and right, and selects a target search result that the user wants to view. And the selected target search result can be enlarged and displayed, so that the target search result is more prominent and is convenient for the user to watch. For example, as shown in fig. 7, when the user selects the first movie resource under the "Movies" title, the name and poster of the movie resource are enlarged to some extent compared with other movie resources for the purpose of highlighting.
In the embodiment of the present application, the manner in which the user inputs various control commands includes, but is not limited to, inputting commands by pressing buttons of a remote controller, inputting commands by voice, and the like.
As can be seen from the above, in the display device 200 provided in the embodiment of the present application, the controller 250 may receive a search instruction from a user, and control the display 260 to display a presentation page containing a search result. The search results are displayed on the display page according to different resource categories, each search result comprises a content title and a display image corresponding to the content title, and the content title comprises search content of a user. Moreover, the presentation page can be expanded horizontally and vertically to present more resource categories and search results under each resource category. Then, the controller 250 controls the focus frame on the presentation page to move to the position of the target search result that the user wants to view in response to the focus moving instruction input by the user, and controls the target search result to be displayed in an enlarged manner for the user to view. Therefore, the search results can be displayed in a waterfall flow mode according to the scheme of the embodiment of the application, so that the search results are displayed in front of the user more visually and clearly, meanwhile, more types of search results are provided for the user, and the user experience is further improved.
FIG. 10 illustrates a second control flow diagram of controller 250 according to some embodiments.
In some embodiments, the display device 200 does not store many resource categories, and in order to obtain more comprehensive search results, the controller 250 may send the search content of the user to the server after receiving a search instruction input by the user, and request the server to search for more comprehensive results. Then, the server obtains different search results under each resource category according to the search content, and sends the search results back to the controller 250.
The controller 250 controls category titles of the resource categories to be sequentially displayed vertically on the presentation page, and controls search results to be sequentially displayed horizontally below the corresponding category titles, for example, as shown in fig. 7-8.
Then, the controller 250 receives a focus moving instruction input by the user, controls the focus frame on the display page to move to the position of the target search result, and controls the target search result to be displayed in an enlarged manner.
It can be seen that, in some embodiments, the controller 250 can also provide the user with more comprehensive search results by means of the powerful search capability of the server.

Among them, the content of the digital television dtv is channel data searched by the controller 250 of the display device 200 by connecting a signal line and a satellite, and the content of the web television ott is channel data obtained by the controller 250 from a server. Therefore, as shown in fig. 11, in some embodiments, the controller 250 further needs to detect the resource category to which the target search result selected by the user belongs, and in the case that the resource category to which the target search result belongs is a television channel, the controller 250 receives a confirmation instruction input by the user on the current television channel, and in response to the instruction, detects whether the target search result selected by the user belongs to the content of the digital television dtv or the content of the web television ott.
In general, channel information of each television channel is stored in the database of the display device 200, and tvType (channel category) is used in the channel information to distinguish whether the channel is a digital television dtv channel or an internet television ott channel. When the tvType is 2, the channel is a digital television dtv channel; when tvType is 100, this channel is represented as an iptv ott channel.
Then, when the target search result belongs to the content of the digital television dtv, the controller 250 acquires the content corresponding to the target search result through the digital television signal, and controls the display 260 to display the content, that is, controls the display 260 to display the content of the target digital television channel selected by the user. Alternatively, if the target search result belongs to the content of the web tv ott, the controller 250 requests the server for the content corresponding to the target search result through the web tv signal, and controls the display 260 to display, that is, controls the display 260 to display the content corresponding to the target web tv channel selected by the user.

In addition, in practical applications, the channel information of the digital television dtv and the network television ott may be provided by the same display page, and different types of channels may be distinguished on the display page by different title bar contents. For example, under the title column of "Cable" shown in fig. 12-13, a channel list of the digital television dtv is correspondingly stored, and under the title column of "Kids", a channel list of the internet television ott is correspondingly stored. The user can select different types of channels corresponding to different title bars by selecting different title bars. After selection, the display 260 may continue to display the content of the channel selected by the user. Also, some "channel favorite" functions may be provided on the display page, such as the "FAV 1" option shown in fig. 12 and 13, and when the user selects this option, the display 260 displays the digital tv channels and/or the network tv channels that the user has favorite.
FIG. 14 illustrates a fourth schematic diagram of a presentation page, according to some embodiments.
As shown in fig. 14, in some embodiments, if the content searched by the user is the keyword "P", a channel containing "P" in several channel names is displayed under the tv channel category (Channels) on the presentation page, wherein, taking the channel name of "17 DC 04576P" as an example, 17 represents the channel number, and DC 04576P represents the channel name. Generally, channel contents having a channel number below 4000 belong to contents of the digital television dtv, and channel contents having a channel number above 4000 belong to contents of the web television ott. The manner shown in fig. 14 reveals the name of the channel, and is also advantageous for the user to directly judge the channel category of the target channel by the name.
