Abstract

The present invention discloses a passenger transportation device configured to transport passengers along a predetermined route, the width of a deck of the passenger transportation device on which the passengers stand being designed to accommodate two or more passengers, wherein the passenger transportation device comprises: a first visual device disposed on a first side of the interior of the passenger conveyor and configured to provide a visual display of a first design; a second visual device disposed on a second side of the interior of the passenger conveyor opposite the first side and configured to provide a visual display of a second pattern different from the first pattern to prompt passengers to stand on the first side and walk on the second side. The passenger transportation device can visually prompt passengers to use according to rules, and effectively guide the passengers to leave a passage for quick passing.

Also, colors may be used for the cues, for example, the first visual device 10 disposed on the right side may be displayed in a mild color such as blue or white, and the second visual device 20 disposed on the left side may be displayed in an aggressive color such as green, with the contrasting arrangement of these two types of colors suggesting that the left side may and should be faster to remind the passenger on the left side to walk quickly or change to stand on the right side, although other colors may be used.
It should be noted that not all passenger transporters or in all cases need to stand on the right and walk on the left. Alternatively, in some usage scenarios, such as an escalator at a railway station, where there are many passengers and large pieces of luggage are usually carried, the first visual device 10 and the second visual device 20 may be set to be normally bright or breathe in place, as shown in fig. 2, to remind the passengers of safety.
Alternatively, the first and second vision devices 10, 20 may be projectors configured to project a pattern onto a skirt or moving pedal. For example, the first visual device 10 may project a first pattern of constant brightness or breath-in-place to a location of the apron or pedal on a first side proximate to the first side, such as the right half of the pedal; the second vision device 20 may project a second pattern showing the movement of the bright light in the advancing direction of the passenger transportation means to a position of the apron or step on the second side near the second side, for example, the left half of the step. The first pattern and the second pattern at this time may also be distinguished by blue or white and green, respectively. Also, when the first and second vision devices 10 and 20 are projectors, the positions of the first and second vision devices 10 and 20 are not limited as long as the patterns can be projected onto the corresponding positions.
Preferably, the passenger transportation device may further comprise a monitoring means 30, the monitoring means 30 being configured to detect passengers violating the standing on the first side and walking on the second side rules. The passenger transportation device according to the present invention may further include a speaker 50, and the speaker 50 may be provided at an entrance of the passenger transportation device. It should be noted that since the traveling direction of the passenger conveyor may be changed, speakers 50 may be provided at both ends, as shown in fig. 3. Speaker 50 may be configured to play voice prompts to passengers entering the passenger conveyance to remind the passengers to stand on the first side and walk on the second side. Further, when the monitoring device 30 detects a passenger violating a rule, the speaker 50 may also be caused to play a voice prompt to remind the passenger violating the rule to stand on the first side and walk on the second side.
Preferably, the passenger transportation device may further comprise a virtual aid 60, which virtual aid 60 may for example be arranged at the entrance of the passenger transportation device. The virtual aid is capable of displaying virtual human-shaped imagery, including, without limitation, imagery of adults, children, cartoon characters, etc., to visually convey information to passengers. wherein the passenger transportation device comprises:
a first visual device configured to provide a visual display of a first pattern on a first side of the passenger conveyance device;
a second visual device configured to provide a visual display of a second pattern different from the first pattern on a second side of the passenger conveyance device opposite the first side to prompt passengers to stand on the first side and walk on the second side.
2. The passenger conveyance device of claim 1, wherein the passenger conveyance device is an escalator or a moving sidewalk.
3. The passenger transportation device of claim 1, wherein the first and second visual devices comprise LED lights disposed at a skirt and/or a handrail extending along the predetermined route.
4. The passenger transportation device of any one of claims 1, wherein the first visual device comprises a first projector configured to project a first pattern to a position of the apron or step on the first side proximate the first side, and the second visual device comprises a second projector configured to project a second pattern to a position of the apron or step on the second side proximate the second side.
5. The passenger conveyance device of claim 3 or 4, wherein the first pattern is a constant bright or breath-in-place; the second pattern is an arrow showing movement of bright light in the forward direction of the passenger conveyor or showing the forward direction.
6. The passenger transportation device of claim 3 or 4, wherein the first pattern is displayed as blue or white and the second pattern is displayed as green.
7. The passenger conveyance device of any one of claims 1-4, wherein the first side is a right side as viewed in a direction of travel of the passenger conveyance device and the second side is a left side as viewed in the direction of travel of the passenger conveyance device.
8. The passenger conveyance device of any one of claims 1-4, wherein the passenger conveyance device further comprises a speaker that plays a voice prompt to a passenger entering the passenger conveyance device to remind the passenger to stand on the first side and walk on the second side.
9. The passenger conveyance device of any one of claims 1-4, further comprising a virtual aid capable of displaying a virtual human-shaped image to visually convey information to passengers.
10. The passenger conveyance of any one of claims 1-4, wherein the passenger conveyance further comprises a monitoring device configured to detect a passenger violating the rules of standing on a first side and walking on a second side, and to cause the first vision device and/or the second vision device to flash in proximity to the violating passenger when the violating passenger is detected.
11. The passenger conveyance device of claim 10, wherein the monitoring means further causes a speaker to play a voice prompt upon detection of a passenger violating a rule to remind the passenger to stand on the first side and walk on the second side.
