Description

Low viscosity cosmetic composition for stabilizing solid oily component
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a low viscosity cosmetic composition for stabilizing a solid oily component.
[ reference to related applications ]
The present application claims priority from korean patent application No. 10-2019-0000201, filed on 2019, 1,2, the contents of which are incorporated herein by reference in their entirety.
Background
Basic cosmetics are classified into various preparations such as skin lotions (skins), essences (essences), lotions (lotions), and creams (creams), and it is known that the more the content of oily components such as oil is, the better the skin moisturizing effect is. Transparent or translucent solubilizing preparations (e.g., lotions (toners)) composed mainly of water-soluble components and stabilized with no or a small amount of oil have advantages of a light and fresh feeling in use, but have disadvantages in that the moisturizing ability is not higher than that of emulsion (emulsion) preparations and the feeling in use is not soft.
Therefore, in such solubilizing preparations, it is important to increase skin moisturization and achieve the advantage of differentiated use feeling while maintaining light penetration and fresh spreadability by including a large amount of oily components. However, in order to stabilize a large amount of oily components in the solubilized cosmetic composition prepared in such a transparent or translucent formulation, a large amount of a surfactant or thickener should be used for solubilization. Excessive use of such surfactants or thickeners may result in a sticky or heavy use feeling or cause skin irritation.

Detailed Description
The present invention will be described in detail below.
The term "hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB)" as used herein refers to the ratio of hydrophilicity to hydrophobicity of a general surfactant, which means the relative value of hydrophilicity and hydrophobicity applicable to each raw material capable of being stably dispersed. [ examples and comparative examples ]
Low viscosity cosmetic compositions of examples 1 to 3 and comparative examples 1 to 3 having the compositions of table 1 below were prepared. Specifically, the raw materials of table 1 below were stirred at 80 ℃ for 10 minutes using a homomixer (homomixer), and then cooled to 30 ℃ and degassed (degassed) to prepare a low viscosity cosmetic composition of a base formulation (stress formulation).
[ Table 1]
Figure BDA0003011747360000071
Test example 1 evaluation of viscosity Change
Whether the viscosity was changed with time was evaluated for the above examples 1 to 3 and comparative examples 1 to 3. Specifically, the viscosity of each composition was measured every 4 weeks for 2 minutes using a Brookfield viscometer (Brookfield LVDV-II + PRO) with a number 3 rotor set at 12 rpm. The results are shown in table 2 below.
[ Table 2]
Figure BDA0003011747360000081
As can be seen from the results of table 2 above, examples 1 to 3 containing a mixture of two solid oily components according to the present invention maintained their low viscosity for a long period of time. However, comparative example 1, which contains 5 wt% of a single type of solid oily component, of the present invention, increased viscosity above 10,000cps and particularly after 4 weeks was found to be above 15,000cps, thus confirming that the composition could not achieve a low viscosity formulation. In addition, the formulations of comparative examples 2 and 3 were separated immediately after the preparation, and the viscosity could not be measured.
That is, when only one of the solid oily components of the present invention is contained, it is found that the viscosity is so high that the preparation is immediately separated, or the viscosity gradually increases with time. However, when two or more kinds are mixed, it has been found that the low viscosity can be maintained at all times.
Test example 2 evaluation of Long-term stability
The above examples 1 to 3 and comparative examples 1 to 3 were subjected to evaluation of long-term stability. Long-term stability was evaluated by a temperature stability test, which is a general shelf life test. Specifically, the change in state of the sample was observed with time in a constant temperature environment (room temperature, 45 ℃, 4 ℃, -15 ℃, cycle) to measure the change in state for 4 weeks. Physically determining if there is any change in separation, precipitation, aggregation, solidification and softening. Chemically determining if there is any change in discoloration, off-flavors, and crystalline precipitates. The results are shown in table 3 below and fig. 1.
[ Table 3]
Figure BDA0003011747360000082
As can be seen from Table 3 and the results of FIG. 1, the opaque appearance of the examples 1 to 3 according to the present invention, which comprise a mixture of two or more solid oily components in a specific content range, remains stable and unchanged. In comparative examples 2 and 3, which contain the oily component of shea butter or jojoba ester, it was confirmed that the oily component had a white precipitate and separated immediately after preparation. In comparative example 1, long-term stability was not a problem, but it was confirmed from the results of test example 1 that the viscosity thereof was too high, and thus it was confirmed that the composition could not achieve a low-viscosity formulation.
Test example 3 evaluation of sense of use
According to the feeling of use of example 1 of one embodiment of the present invention, o/w (oil in water) cosmetic composition formulations of the composition of table 4 (comparative example 4) and w/x (water in silicone oil) cosmetic composition formulations of the composition of table 5 were evaluated. Specifically, nine women aged 30 to 40 years were subjected to sensory evaluation of spreadability and moisturizing sensation after using the cosmetic composition of example 1. In the evaluation of coating property and moisture retention satisfaction, a higher score was given to less transparent or fresh coating and better moisture retention using a scale of 1 to 19 points, respectively. The results are shown in Table 6 below.
[ Table 4]
Figure BDA0003011747360000101
[ Table 5]
Figure BDA0003011747360000111
[ Table 6]
Example 1 Comparative example 4 Comparative example 5
Coatability 15.2 10.2 9.6
Sense of moisture retention 14.8 9.6 8.6
As is clear from the results in table 6 above, in comparative example 4 and comparative example 5 corresponding to the conventional general emulsion preparations, since a large amount of oil-based liquid oil components were dispersed, it was confirmed that the coating properties and the moisturizing feeling were inferior to those of example 1.
In example 1 according to the present invention, by dispersing a solid oily component in an oil-free low-viscosity solubilizing preparation, it was confirmed that this component emits a light through or refreshing feeling while exhibiting excellent moisturizing feeling.
The invention may be illustrated by the following specific examples.
