Description

Shoe structure for luminous shoes
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a shoe construction for a luminous shoe, of the type comprising a connection unit for connection with an external electronic device, and to a connection unit of the above-mentioned type.
The invention also relates to a luminous shoe comprising the shoe structure.
Background
Luminous shoes for enhancing the visibility of the wearer of the luminous shoe or for recreational purposes are known today.
The luminous shoes provided in the known art mainly comprise a vamp, a sole and an electronic luminous system, which generally comprises a luminous display or luminous band, a battery, a control unit and a connection unit connected to the control unit and/or the battery by suitable connection lines.
The connection unit may easily charge the battery and/or serve as a port for data exchange between the control unit and the external electronic device, for example, allowing a predetermined message to be displayed to be placed in the electronic lighting system.
In the known luminous shoe, the connection unit comprises a connection port, for example a USB port, and said connection line, wherein the connection port and the connection line are arranged opposite to each other and aligned with each other.
In fact, in such a connection unit, at the junction provided for the contact of the connection line at its end in the vicinity of the connection port, said connection line has an orientation corresponding/coinciding with the access direction of the connection port.
The connection unit of the type described above is usually associated with the luminous shoe at the vamp or tongue of the luminous shoe, which tongue may be made in one piece with the vamp or may be associated with the vamp by stitching or gluing, and in particular it may be arranged between the vamp or tongue and the lining of the luminous shoe and the vamp or tongue, or may be arranged between the different layers of the vamp or tongue.
In particular, the known art provides solutions in which the connection unit faces the inside of the luminous shoe, for example at the mouth of the luminous shoe, and solutions in which the connection unit faces the outside of the luminous shoe, for example at the tongue of the luminous shoe.
However, the connection unit facing the inside of the luminous shoe is particularly uncomfortable for the wearer, since this involves in particular a hindrance at the mouth of the luminous shoe, giving the wearer the impression that there is an undesired foreign body inside the luminous shoe.
For the connection unit located at the tongue facing the outside of the luminous shoe, it is also uncomfortable for the wearer, even if it does not give the wearer the feeling of having undesired foreign bodies inside the shoe.
In fact, in this case, it should be noted that, in order to allow the wearer to also easily access the connection port of the connection unit while wearing the luminous shoe, said connection unit is integrated with the luminous shoe such that the connection port faces a cutout provided on the external upper portion of the tongue, wherein the cutout extends in a central position and substantially horizontally (i.e. transversely) on the tongue.
In practice, the connection unit with the associated connection line extends substantially longitudinally on the tongue, i.e. from the upper towards the lower part of the tongue.
As mentioned above, the presence of the connection unit at the tongue inconveniently determines an increase in the size of the tongue itself, in particular in terms of its thickness.
Disadvantageously, the thick tongue may be pressed against the wearer's ankle, causing discomfort to the wearer themselves.
It is also disadvantageous that the thick tongue constitutes an aesthetic limitation for the whole luminous shoe and therefore in terms of the realisation of the aesthetic variants of the luminous shoe.
It should also be noted that, as mentioned above, in the solution of providing a connection unit in combination with the tongue, the luminous shoe generally comprises an appendix or strip made in a portion integral with the tongue and with the lining, respectively, or with the different layers, and which extends between the tongues themselves towards the connection portion connecting the upper and the sole, for housing the connection line.
Such accessories or straps are disadvantageously involved in order to enhance the wear resistance of the materials used to make the luminous shoe and in particular may make the assembly operations between the different layers of the tongue or between the tongue and the lining laborious, thus increasing the costs.
Furthermore, the accessory or strap constitutes a kind of "bridge" which accommodates/contains the connecting line and extends inside the luminous shoe, for example when inserting the foot into the luminous shoe, the wearer may accidentally but still easily break it, for example by tearing, thereby damaging the connecting line.
Furthermore, in known luminous shoes, specific control buttons are usually provided which act on the electronic luminous system to switch on and off the luminous display or luminous band.
In some solutions provided in the known art, the control buttons are placed on a plate/surface of the connection unit.
In fact, in this solution, the control button is placed between the connection port and said junction point of the connection line.
The connection ports of the connection units, the control buttons and the connection lines at the bonding points are substantially aligned with each other.
Accordingly, the connection unit comprising the control button is larger in size with respect to the connection unit without the control button, and thus, in the above-described solution of coupling the connection unit with the tongue of the luminous shoe, the thickness of the tongue is inconveniently further increased or in any case the thickness of the tongue portion is increased.
Furthermore, in the above-described scheme, the control button is located near the shoelace or the closure strap that is generally provided on the luminous shoe, and thus, during use of the luminous shoe, the control button is depressed and is accidentally pressed by the shoelace or the closure strap whenever the tongue is lowered (also including a moderate lowering).
In order to partially solve the above drawbacks, another solution is described in the known art japanese document JP 3210703U, in which in a luminous shoe a connecting unit of the above type comprising a control button is combined with a strip of the tear-open closing strip type, movable and reversible on the tongue.
In detail, unlike the solutions described above, in the embodiment of JP 3210703U comprising said strap, the connection unit extends substantially transversely with respect to the tongue and longitudinally on the strap when the strap itself is fixed, i.e. closed, above the tongue.
In this case, however, the connecting line bypasses the strap and extends along the side of the shoe that is more attached to the wearer's foot, thereby giving the wearer itself discomfort, i.e., annoyance and inconvenience.
Furthermore, this solution may involve problems of sewing of the vamp portion, with the risk of damaging the thread.
Disclosure of Invention
The technical problem underlying the present invention is to provide a luminous shoe with structural and functional characteristics which overcomes one or more of the drawbacks mentioned above with reference to the known art.
According to a first aspect of the present invention, the above-mentioned problems are solved by a connection unit, in particular but not exclusively for a light-emitting shoe, which connection unit is adapted to be combined with a vamp of the light-emitting shoe or with a tongue of the light-emitting shoe, which tongue is made in one piece with the vamp or is constrained to the vamp, for example by stitching or gluing, which connection unit comprises a body and a connection line extending from the body for connecting the connection unit to a battery and/or a control unit of an electronic lighting system of the light-emitting shoe, wherein the body is provided with a connection port for connecting the connection unit to an external electronic device and a junction point for contact of the connection line at its end in the vicinity of the connection port, wherein the connection port has an access direction and the connection line has an extension direction at the junction point, wherein the access direction and the extension direction are neither aligned nor parallel to each other, the access direction and the extension direction forms an angle different from 180 ° with the extension direction.
Preferably, the access direction and the extension direction lie on the same plane or on planes substantially parallel to each other.
Preferably, the access direction and the binding point lie on the same plane or on planes substantially parallel to each other.
Preferably, the access direction, the extension direction and the binding point lie on the same plane or planes parallel to each other, wherein the same plane or planes parallel to each other are parallel to the body.
In this way, the overall size of the present connection unit is advantageously reduced with respect to connection units according to the known art, and therefore, whenever combined with the vamp or tongue of a luminous shoe, the extension of the vamp portion or tongue portion, which is increased in thickness due to the presence of the connection unit, is reduced, thus improving the comfort of the wearer.
Furthermore, the reduction of the extension of the area of increased thickness of the vamp or tongue is advantageously positively reflected in the possibility of realising an aesthetic variation of the luminous shoe.
Preferably, the access direction and the extension direction form an angle of less than 180 °, and more preferably an angle equal to about 90 °, however, the possibility of providing angles of different values is not excluded.
Preferably, the body comprises a first length portion at which the connection port is arranged and a second length portion at which the junction is arranged, wherein more preferably the second length portion extends from the first length portion.
Preferably, the access direction, the extension direction and the binding point lie on the same plane or on planes parallel to each other, wherein the same plane or the planes parallel to each other are parallel to the first length portion and/or the second length portion.
Preferably, the first length portion and the second length portion form an angle with each other different from 180 °, more preferably equal to about 90 °, and therefore the body preferably has a "T" or "L" shape, but the possibility of providing other forms (e.g. a "V" shape) is not excluded.
Preferably, the width of the second length portion is smaller than the width of the first length portion.
Preferably, the connection unit comprises a flexible sleeve in which the connection line is at least partially accommodated.
Preferably, the sleeve is movable relative to the connection line, allowing relative sliding movement, such as translational and/or rotational movement, between the sleeve and the connection line.
Advantageously, the sleeve protects the connection line and at the same time ensures a relative movement between the sleeve and the connection line.
Thus, whenever the present connection unit is combined with the vamp or tongue of the luminous shoe, the sleeve protects the connection line from being glued to possible glue marks that may remain after certain processing steps of the luminous shoe, and thus the sleeve protects the connection line from being tangled or torn, thereby preventing the risk of the connection line being damaged.
Still whenever the present connection unit is combined with the tongue of a luminous shoe, it should be said that the presence of the sleeve advantageously prevents the need to provide an accessory in the form of a strip for housing the connection line, thus allowing to save material when implementing the luminous shoe according to the invention and simplifying some assembly operations of the luminous shoe.
Advantageously, by avoiding the need for said strap/belt-like accessory to provide a tongue as described above, the presence of the sleeve also prevents the formation of a "bridge" for containing the connecting line within the luminous shoe, which is easily broken by the wearer when the wearer inserts the foot into the luminous shoe, thereby damaging the connecting line.
Preferably, the connection unit comprises a wing part coupled with the main body, wherein the wing part is more preferably arranged opposite to the connection port.
Preferably, the thickness of the wing is smaller relative to the thickness of the body.
Advantageously, the wing portions allow to fix the connection unit particularly stably on the vamp or tongue whenever the present connection unit is combined with the vamp or tongue of a luminous shoe, thereby increasing its contact surface, without however making the extension of the portion of increased thickness due to the presence of the connection unit greater.
In addition, the wing portions may be made of a pierceable material to facilitate sewing thereof to the upper or tongue.
Preferably, the connection unit comprises a control button, for example adapted to operate/act on the electronic lighting system to turn on and off the associated lighting display.
Preferably, the control button is arranged on the body and more preferably not aligned with the direction of extension of the connection line.
Preferably, the control button is arranged on a first side and the connection port is arranged on a second side opposite to the first side with respect to/relative to a plane extending substantially along the extension direction of the connection line at the junction point.
In fact, with respect to the second length portion of the body, the control button and the connection port are preferably arranged on the first length portion on opposite sides.
Preferably, said connection port, which according to the invention may be a so-called male port or a so-called female port, is a female connection port, and more preferably a USB port or the like.
According to a second aspect of the invention, the problem is solved by a shoe structure for a luminous shoe comprising an upper and a connecting unit of the type described in combination with said upper.
Preferably, the shoe structure comprises a tongue, wherein the tongue is made in one piece with the upper or the tongue is constrained to the upper, for example by stitching or gluing, wherein the body is joined with the tongue.
Preferably, the tongue comprises a slit extending substantially vertically, i.e. in a longitudinal direction, on the tongue, wherein the connection port emerges from/faces away from the slit.
Preferably, the cut-out extends outwardly on the tongue.
Preferably, on the tongue, the connection unit is oriented such that the connection port is arranged towards the foot outside of the shoe structure and possibly the control button is arranged towards the foot inside of the shoe structure.
Preferably, the control button is arranged on the side facing the inside of the foot of the shoe structure with respect to a central axis extending longitudinally on the tongue.
Advantageously, the construction and arrangement of the connection unit allows the control button to be moved whenever it is moved away from the closure area of the illuminated shoe, for example away from a shoelace or closure strap that may be provided with the illuminated shoe, so that accidental depression of the control button and thus accidental pressing of the control button against the shoelace or closure strap is prevented whenever the tongue should lower itself during wearing of the illuminated shoe.
Furthermore, the configuration and arrangement of the connection unit advantageously reduces the likelihood of the control button being accidentally depressed and thus pressed by the upper whenever the tongue is moved towards the outside of the foot when the illuminated shoe is worn.
According to a further aspect of the invention, the problem is solved by a luminous shoe comprising a sole, a battery, a luminous display, and a shoe structure of the above-mentioned type in combination with said sole.
